"I'm sorry, I just get all swoony when you take blood. Its been a week since you last fed from me and I guess my body is saying that's enough." she said with a shakey laugh as she felt herself wrapped up in a jacket. "I'll be okay just give me a moment and we can go out." she said softly as she looked up at him, and smiled weakly, "Where did you want to go? I mean if you're the one bringing me there I guess you could just scoop me up and run." After some deep breaths she tried to rise and then leaned against him, her forehead touching his gently as she placed both her hands on his face "Thank you for staying by me. I know its not going to be easy cause I'm messed up but I appreciate that you still want to be around me."

Trent nodded seriously when Marina apologized, saying that it was probably her body's way of saying that it had enough. "That makes perfect sense," he stated. And it did. Despite her new powers, Marina was for all intents and purposes, still human. "Or we can stay in until you are feeling up to it," he offered after her comment. After all, she would not enjoy herself if she was feeling dizzy or otherwise out of sorts. She took few breaths and tried to stand, but couldn't. "I think it would be best if we stayed in for a bit," Trenton determined. He then quickly went into the kitchen, got a handful of candles and a lighter, quickly placed the candles all around the room, lit them, and then was back at her side. "Come...sit down...I will see if I have something for you to eat," he told her, leading her to the couch.

"I'm glad because I'm a a bit at a loss." she said softly as she leaned against him lightly, "I'm glad you're here." she nodded to his offer, "Staying in is good. I'm just wanting to sit down a bit."
She looked around as he lit candles and offered to get her something to eat, "That would be good. I think resting is a good idea." she murmured softly as she watched him run about. She smiled and curled up on the couch, her mind drifting as she closed her eyes lightly to rest.

"I will always be here, Bella," he promised. He watched her cautiously as she sat down on the couch, saying that resting was a good idea. She curled up and he saw her close her eyes. Silently, he went into the kitchen. This would give him a chance to make her some food without her feeling like a burden. He got out the condiments and swiftly made the sandwich and put it in the refrigerator along with everything else when he was done. He would let her sleep for as long as she wanted and when she woke up, she'd have food waiting for her. He then went back into the living room and sat on the couch next to her, far away enough where he was respecting her space, but close enough for her to reach out and touch him if she had the desire to. A small smile graced his lips. She really was beautiful....

She sensed him as she dosed and opened her eyes after twenty minutes, "How long have you been sitting there?" she murmured softly as she smiled at him. Her eyes sleepy as she slowly sat up a bit more and looked around, "All this is so beautiful." she said with a soft smile on her face as she glanced at him and the kitten jumped in her lap.
Trying to sit up a bit more she patted his hand, "Do you see differently when you transform?" she asked softly as she looked at him with curiosity as she tilted her head and stretched out, "Are you planning something with all the candles?" she reached over and petted the kitten as she looked at him and cuddled the kitten. "He's so beautiful."

After twenty minutes had gone by, Trenton sensed Marina waking up. "Did you have a nice nap, Bella?" he queried. When she asked him how long he had been sitting there, he let out a shrug. "Not long," he told her. A grin curved his features when she voiced her approval with what he had done as the kitten jumped into the girl's lap. The grin and smiles that he gave to Marina were different than the smirks or the fake smiles he used when hunting or enduring pleasantries with whom he needed to. They were smiles that no one else saw---except for maybe Diana.
His reverie was broken when he realized that she had just asked him about how perceived things when he was in vampire face. Wow. I had forgotten that I had changed my appearance, he thought to himself. "In certain ways, yes. It makes things a bit sharper---clearer. Like fixing the image on a television," he he replied. "I can also things from miles and miles away...not that I couldn't before, but it just helps," he continued.
At her question about having something planned with the candles, he nodded. "I changed my mind about going out. Thought maybe you would be more comfortable having a quiet night in," he responded. "I made you a sandwich. Would you like me to get it?"

"Oh good. I wouldn't want you to get bored." she said as she continued to let the kitten curl up with her and looked at him with relief. She knew his time was precious and she didn't want to waste it falling asleep on him. She knew there was a lot of internal conflict with him and she wished she could help.
His comment of what happened with his vision had her thinking quietly a moment, "So its your way of using your powers?" she asked as she slowly moved closer to him, "I'm sorry if I'm being nosey. Its just vampirism is so personal I didn't feel right asking Diana about it. I hope I'm not being rude I'm just trying to understand." she said as she absently petted the kitten's ears. She blushed and looked at him before she touched his face again, "I'm sorry if I make things hard for you. I don't mean to." she murmured softly.
"I'd love a sandwich. Do you cook?" she asked as she curled closer to him. "I want to learn about you. I want to try to understand so I don't yell or freak out. I mean I know I may not like everything you do but you don't need me nagging you. I just worry about you. My friend Merry fell in love with a vampire and he had problems and ended up getting staked so I mean I know you're a lot more powerful but I worry about you." she said softly as she relaxed a bit more. She clearly had no idea he wanted to seduce her. Her mind was on everyday things. Her brown eyes looking at him as she settled herself a bit more.

Trenton chuckled. "I could never get bored around you," he told her. He then nodded when she said that it was a way of using his powers. "Yes. Exactly," he confirmed.
When she apologized for being nosey, stating that she understood that vampirism was personal but didn't feel right about asking Diana questions, he shook his head. "Feel free to ask any questions you desire. If I do not wish to answer them, I will tell you," he responded and then smiled softly when she touched his face.
At her comment that a sandwich would be good, he quickly went into the kitchen, opened the refrigerator, got the sandwich which had been put on a plate, and then came back out as she asked if he could cook. "Yes, I can cook. I just have not had the chance to do so in a while," he replied, as he handed her the plate.
He listened intently as she explained that she was just trying to understand so that she didn't nag or freak out on him and went to explain what had happened to a friend of hers. "The relationship between a supernatural creature and a human can be complex," he agreed. "I am sorry for your friend's loss and yours as well," he continued. Then, he fell silent, unsure of what to say as she stared at him as she made herself comfortable.

She smiled softly and looked relieved as things began to click in place, "Well its starting to make sense now." she nodded as she looked at him, "My powers are kind of...bright." she blushed a bit as she sat there with him.
"Are you hungry? Is that why you're transformed now?" she asked him as she gently ran a hand over his jaw, feeling the differences and studying them a bit as she relaxed.
Taking the plate gently she picked up the sandwich and took delicate bites of it, pausing to swallow before she spoke. "Do you eat real food too?" she really didn't know what vampires could or couldn't do so she just asked questions as they came to her.
"Merry's still grieving. Her dad became a vampire when she was little so she knows a little bit about it. Her dad Robert is my god father actually. She helps him get rid of the really dumb vampires that are a danger to everyone. The ones Diana says need to be gotten rid of." she nibbled on her sandwich and finished it little by little as they talked and color came back to her skin. "Thank you. That was good."

Trenton nodded in agreement when Marina said that her powers were bright. In a way, they called to him, but he always did his best to tune them out. When she asked if he was transformed because he was hungry, he shook his head. "I actually transformed because of the intensity of my emotions as I fed from you. It was the bloodlust overwhelming me, I apologize," he said, changing his features back to normal. "I can and sometimes do. It depends on the situation and whether or not it's required," he answered in response to her question of whether or not he ate real food.
Marina went on to say that her friend Maerry was still grieving and that she knew a little about vampirism since her dad had become one when she was little and mentioned that Robert was her godfather and that the two got rid of vampires that needed to be destroyed. "Yes, Robert. A vampire that is most complex," Trenton mused. He knew that the man did his best for his daughter, though he himself had never paid any attention to them. As long as other vampires did not get in his way or try to harm Marina, he did not really care what they did.

"Its understandable. I'm not judging you, just trying to make sense of it all." she said as she put her plate down and rested against him, her bite showing as she did not want to lay directly on it. "I think its neat that you can still eat real food." she added.
"You would do well to mingle more." she said softly as she looked up at him and hugged him gently as she rested against him, "It would be good for you. I think." she added as she relaxed quietly and smiled up at him, she tenatively touched his face now that he had transformed back and felt the differences, closing her eyes so she didn't get side tracked by his looks, "You probably think I'm silly." she chuckled softly and blushed. "I'm sorry I got jealous about that redhead." she said softly, blushing as she looked at him.

Trenton nodded when Marina hastened to assure him that she wasn't judging. "I understand completely. If our situation was reversed, I would be curious as well," he assured her. Then he chuckled when she commented that she thought it was neat that he could eat regular food. "It does come in handy," he allowed.
Trenton shook his head when Marina told him that he needed to mingle more and that it would be good for him. "No. That would not be...advisable for humans or even some creatures. I can have a bit of a temper," he told her. Not to mention that I would have to feed before certain meetings so that I can act as a normal human would, he thought to himself.
Trenton shook his head when Marina said that she was being silly and then apologized for getting jealous about the redhead he had killed. "It is not silly. And if it's any consolation, I killed her quickly precisely because of the way she threw herself at me," he responded. I did not want her acting like some harlot. I just needed a meal, he thought to himself.

"We can go to the movies sometime." she added with a soft smile, "Or other places out. Merry's family has a circus that only is open at night."
'I was meaning other vampires, Trent.[/i]' she sent back to him with a quiet chuckle, 'I wouldn't expect you to just start being buddy buddy with folks.' With all the blood he'd drank and the time they had spent together being mentally intense she'd figured out how to get on his wavelength as it were.
"Well I'm not happy you killed her but its not right for me to assume the worst." she said gently, 'While I wish you didn't have to kill I know its your choice.' she sent telepathically as she pressed against him closer and concentrated.

Trenton let out a noise of agreement as Marina pointed out that they could go to the movies or a circus that was open at night. Those sounded plausible. He then blinked in surprise when he heard her voice in his head, stating that she had meant other vampires and that she wasn't expecting to him out with other people. When had she gained telepathy?
She then went on to state that she wasn't happy about the girl being killed, but that it also wasn't right for her to assume the worst. Then, he heard her say that she wished that he didn't have to kill, but that she knew it was his choice. "When did you get telepathy?" he asked her as she leaned into him.

She laughed out loud softly, "Well you drink enough of my blood you're going to get on my wavelength eventually." she said as she grinned and winked, "Now don't worry, I'm not that good at it and it takes a lot of work. My father had it with me but then he could pick up my thoughts easily so it wasn't like I was having to do much." she admitted as she smiled softly and exhaled as her brow furrowed, "I can't do it for long. It tires me out and I think its only with you right now." she admits shyly.
"I've also had an associate of my fathers start paying visits. Father said he was ancient and not to trust him but he showed up my doorstep with a red rose and claimed he wanted to slowly earn my trust." she said as she hugged him tighter, "He's creepy and he scares me. His name is Corvin Blake."
She sighed and tried to relax, "So what did you have in mind next?" she asked as she tried to change the subject. She didn't want to think of Corvin right now she just knew she had to mention him, "Oh and a few of my friends are staying at my house. My friend Logan whose my doctor and my cousin Cruise. They didn't want me to get scared and be by myself so they're staying in another wing of the house so please don't eat them if you come by okay? Logan looks like Superman and Cruise well he looks like he's on the prowl all the time but he's a very good protector."
