STRENGTHS
[/BLOCKQUOTE]
• physically fit-gabriel has always worked out, and now that he is a werewolf he doesn’t have to go to the gym as much, but as he has said multiple times before, the gym is home for the horny.
• persuasive-gabriel knows how to use words, and, well, everything else about him to get what he wants.
• manipulative-gabriel has a way of easily reverting all control of a situation or person to himself.
• alluring-gabriel has always had a way of attracting attention. apparently it is one thing that makes people want to get to know him.
• humorous-though gabriel is usually an asshole, he can be funny about it, and make people laugh, whether it’s at, or with them.
• werewolf strengths-as a human gabriel has heightened senses, but as a wolf, everything enhances, speed, strength, stamina etc.
• intimidating-gabriel has always had that dangerous vibe to him, which comes in extreme handy when wanting to intimidate someone.
WEAKNESSES
[/BLOCKQUOTE]
• cravings-even though gabriel is slowly learning how to control everything, he still has those annoying cravings, which he usually gives in to.
• careless-gabriel is extremely impulsive, and doesn’t really think of the outcome of what he has done, or is going to do.
• commitment-gabriel has a serious issue with commitment in all aspects of his life, whether it be a relationship or keeping a job for more than a week.
• dangerous-gabriel thrives for the thrill of being dangerous. it is one thing that he loves about being what he is, danger just follows.
• family-gabriel has serious issues with his family, there was only one person that he was ever close to and that was his brother.
• claustrophobia-it has always been a fear of gabriel’s. he hates being chained up and placed in cramped areas.
• trust-gabriel feels that he can’t trust anyone, he doesn’t open up to people, and he really just keeps his feelings hidden due to a fear of people using it against him.
• aggression-gabriel isn’t really one to get angry about silly things, however as aggression progresses, so does the wolf phase bringing on the change almost instantly.
LIKES
[/BLOCKQUOTE]
• woman-obviously. there really isn’t much to explain here except the fact that gabriel is a complete man-whore who uses women for his own pleasures.
• the supernatural-gabriel loves what he is, he thrives for the power the beast holds and really can’t imagine life without it anymore.
• smoking-gabriel has been smoking since he was thirteen. newport 100’s keep him sane most of the time. they helped dwindle the cravings.
• caffeine-gabriel was never a coffee drinker until he changed, which often confuses him, but he’s obsessed with it now.
• taking charge-gabriel feels the need to constantly be in charge of everything that is going on.
• instigating-gabriel loves to cause problems, no more to say.
DISLIKES
[/BLOCKQUOTE]
• authority figures-though gabriel is a charge taker himself, he cannot stand taking orders from anyone.
• holding back-this applies to everything. he refuses to tie himself up before he changes, he just prefers to let the wolf take control and let what happens happen.
• cocky people-again, gabriel is extremely cocky himself, but as you can tell, he is kind of a hypocrite. he just doesn’t like people that are exactly like him. he feels less individual.
• being human-yes there are some upsides for being a human, but gabriel would really just prefer to be the wolf all the time.
• clingy people-which gabriel tends to have to deal with all the time due to his way with women. really, he just doesn’t give two shits about anyone, so there is no point in trying.
• crowds-this goes back to his claustrophobia issue, it just makes him feel uncomfortable.
HISTORY
[/BLOCKQUOTE]
On January 12, 1990 Geoffrey and Hannah Valenti had their second child, Gabriel Nikolas Valenti. He was born and raised in Ashland, Wisconsin, full population, 845 people. They were an old fashioned family, owned a barn, produced their own food, used the land they were given. Though they weren’t very rich, the Valenti family owned over 72 acres of land, 70 of those acres being pure forest. Gabriel loved growing up out there. His brother Gideon, who was six years older than him, took care of him when their parents were gone or busy. The two brothers were always inseparable, until Gabriel became a teenager. Of course by then he was getting into new things, meeting new friends. Eventually, he really didn’t have time for his family, work, or even school. He began to skip and go mess around with his friends in the woods. Getting drunk or high, just doing stupid things while nobody was watching.
Geoffrey couldn’t help but notice that Gabriel wasn’t trying as hard as he should be, and he figured that Gideon would be the one they would be sending through college and the one that would make a living. Gabriel knew that his father favored Gideon, and he resented him for it. Though he never blamed Gideon, they were brothers after all. As Gabriel got older, he just began not caring about anything. It worsened as soon as Gideon moved away. Every day was a constant battle between Gabriel and his father. He was always being compared to Gideon. Most of the time, the day ended with Gabriel leaving his house and meeting up with his friends, finding something else to make his father tick.
Gabriel ended up graduating a year after he was meant to, making him nineteen years old. He would have left right after graduation too, but his father became terminally ill, and he had to stay and support his mother. This was really the only time in Gabriel’s life that he did something right in his father’s eyes. Though he really could care less what his dad thought anymore. When Gideon was informed about his father’s illness, he came back to Ashland to help the family out. For about a year, everything seemed to be going good, however, Gideon was acting different and almost distant during some nights, always disappearing without any notice. One night Gabriel decided to follow him directly into the woods, and to an old shack that the family hadn’t used in years. After Gideon entered the shack, and Gabriel began hearing some deafening sounds from inside, he entered and was immediately attacked by what looked to be a massive wolf. The next day he woke up in the hospital with his brother right beside him saying how he couldn’t be forgiven and that he was sorry for everything.
After a short recovery, Gabriel returned home and didn’t realize what had happened to him until one night, when Gideon dragged him out to the woods and into the shack. There had been chains hooked to the walls and Gideon was beginning to strap himself up. Utterly confused, Gabriel trusted his brother, and followed his example. The wolf took over that night, and Gabriel felt the gift his brother had given him. Gideon didn’t feel that it was a gift, he despised the fact that they were like this, but Gabriel had never imagined anything like it and he wanted it more than anything. A few weeks after the first transition, the family was sitting down for dinner and Gideon was talking about what he had been doing for the past years he had been away. Geoffrey had of course, taken the chance to slam Gabriel for not being as committed to life as Gideon had been. Gabriel had shouted off a few words and then headed off towards the woods to wait at the shack for Gideon. That night Gabriel hadn’t chained himself up, he wanted to let the wolf take over freely. Gideon begged for him to stay in the shack but the transition had already begun. The next morning, Gabriel woke up next to his father’s mutilated body. He knew that he should feel bad for what he had done, but he didn’t, he was happy for what had happened. Knowing that he couldn’t stay, he immediately left the house, taking some of the family fund with him.
Now Gabriel lives in Los Angeles and is attempting college, so that he can try to actually support himself in life. He owns a small apartment and is currently working at the Tea House for income.
CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
I plan on having Gabriel turn someone, just for the fact that he is bored. Also I have talked to Mooshi and during the second season we plan on having Emery want Gabriel to turn to the bad side. I have a feeling that he is going to be hesitant at first, but eventually agree. I also plan on requesting Gabriel’s brother eventually.[/BLOCKQUOTE]

The noise in the bar was playing on Gabriel’s nerves. He usually despised coming to bars on Friday nights due to the crowd, but he had endured his last transition of the month last night and he had a full month to go before the next. His body always felt drained after the wolf was done. It was one thing he absolutely hated about this, waking up the next morning and knowing that he was going to be here, stuck in this body for another month with no escape unless he let his temper go. Gabriel had woken up this morning in some ally with what looked to be the remains of a girl beside him. Though there really hadn’t been much left of her. He had called his buddy who had come and brought him clothes. At least now he had someone who he could call when things like that happened.
The bartender came over and set another glass of scotch in front of him. His icy gaze flickered up to her and the corner of his lips lifted in a smirk he knew would make her return the gesture. He was right. Lifting the glass up to his lips, he took a sharp swig not even wincing now that he had been drinking since he got here, which was probably a few hours ago actually. Gabriel glanced at his watch stretching his neck backward, then forward to make out the numbers on the wrist clock. He quickly gave up and set the glass down. Now all he really needed to figure out was how he was going to get home. He hated calling cabs, which left him with walking. Pushing his hands into the side of the bar, he spun the chair around so he could look out over the drinking faces of the customers. He lifted his arms up and rested the elbows on the bar behind him. At least there were a few decent women here. Now that he thought about it he noticed a woman walking in his direction. Maybe he wouldn’t be walking home.
Gabriel kept his gaze forward as the girl came up beside him and leaned on the counter. Odds are she was staring at him waiting for him to say something. He could wait. The woman cleared her throat and said hello. Gabriel glanced at her in surprise as if he hadn’t even known she had been there. Sure it would tick her off or make her feel demeaned. The girl was leaned so far forward on the counter, and turned towards him that he could see directly down her shirt. Great, it was a desperate one. ”You know, I wouldn’t mind a drink.” Gabriel tilted his head a bit and smiled making her think this was going in the direction she wanted. ”You know, me too. Waiter!?” He raised his arm to signify that service was needed, without looking away from the girl. ”Another scotch for me. Oh and put it on her tab.” He widened his smirk and raised a brow daring her to correct him. She didn’t. This could be an entertaining night after all.
The waiter returned with their glasses and the girl began talking about who she was, what she does, and whatever else Gabriel had decided to tune out. He took measly sips of his drink now, suddenly feeling the urge to just go home. He really didn’t want to be wasting the night here with this girl. Sure a night of fun wouldn’t be a bad thing, but he really didn’t like doing anything after the transition except sitting at home and drinking. Plus, this chick seemed to have about another two hours of talking in her and he really didn’t want to wait that long to actually get something from her. He held up his hand to stop her from talking, glancing at his watch again he shook his head and tilted it towards her. ”What does this say?” She frowned a bit but didn’t say anything about how much of a complete ass hole he had just been. ”Twel…” He interrupted her before she could even finish. ”Oh, darn.” Gabriel stood and picked his jacket up off the seat beside him beginning to put it on. ”I would love to stay and listen to you…ah…you know, I’m not even gonna’ lie, I don’t remember your name. But it was great igno… I mean, listening to your life story.” He picked up his glass and downed the rest of it before setting it in her hands and winking. ”Thanks for the drink, doll.” Without another word, he headed towards the door, and exited the building into the cool city night.
