He stumbled to Eli's house door, blood all over his shirt. Perhaps it wasn't the best idea to be covered in blood when meeting his vampire boyfriend, but he wasn't thinking of that right now. He was thinking of seeing his boyfriend, knowing he was the only one who would be able to comfort him. He had to get away from his brothers, they couldn't help him, they were the reason he was in this miss...He had fucking killed someone! There was no going back from that. Everette had gone through this, and had come to him, but he couldn't go to Everette, he was way too angry to talk to him, or even Xzavier. He needed someone who had nothing to do with this, the only person he could really truly trust. He needed Eli, more than he ever did. What had he done?!
Banging on his door ferouciously, he really didn't even care what Eli was doing in there. It wasn't like he was going to be sleeping or anything. He continued banging on the door, gasping non-stop, unable to even stop breathing so crazily. Blood was over Eli's door from his hands, it wasn't even dried onto his skin yet, it was still fresh, the blood of the man he had killed. Sure, he was a bad man and had tried killing his brothers and him, but he was still human. How was Axel to know otherwise? Even so, it didn't take away the fact that he had the blood of another human's on his hands. He was as bad as them, he was evil. The bad part about this whole thing was that there was a moment when he felt like he was watching himself from above, and at that moment he felt it. He liked every moment of it.

Call it a really, really depressing Friday night but it was what it was. He couldn't change it, he didn't have time. Eli just had to nuckle up and soldier on. It was going to happen. He couldn't turn his back on it now; he had to accept his fate. Jersey Shore Marathon! Okay, so it really was a sad Friday night because Ev had some kind of job to do with his brothers, Claire is no where to be seen and he just wanted to completely chill out. So with a bottle of beer, a cigarette and his shirt gone he made his way to the couch. He never smoked inside but he wanted to be so chill, he didn't want to care. That's right, living life on the edge. In his position, he smiled at the freedom. It was his house, his rules, his company that he was keeping. But there was room for someone else. If only he could have an ordinary average Jo for a boyfriend. Then again, what exactly was he to say anything. Pressing play, he watched the recap as he ashed his cigarette, and then heard knocking on the door. Putting his smoke out, he got up worriedly and moved towards the door. Correction, not knocking; banging.
Getting to the door, he could smell it was Axel. The smell of his deodorant on top of his natural smell, the product in his hair and the layer of sweat on his head. He smiled at first, and went to open the door before he smelt something else. Sweet, bitter and tangy. Blood? Pulling the door open ferociously, he looked and saw Axel. The pain in his face, the blood over his body and looking to Eli. Eli's eyes went bright with worry as he moved towards Axel. But then he stepped back. The blood was like acid to him, it burnt like hell and even coming close to it worried him. He looked up into Axel's eyes and saw the pain once more. Oh, screw it. Eli moved forwards and put a hand on Axel's face, his other on his neck. "Oh my god, baby. What happened?". He asked as he pulled Axel inside, shutting the door. Peaking through the door windows, he made sure no one was there and turned back to Axel in worry. If someone hurt him, then everyone knew, they definitely weren't returning home in one piece.

He looked up in relief as Eli answered the door, if he wasn't feeling any other than he was right now, a smile probably would've appeared on his expression, but it didn't. He felt Eli clasp him and he closed his eyes slowly, still gasping at all of the blood covering his shirt and body. When Eli brought him inside and asked what happened, he paused for a few moments, catching his breath and also thinking of how he could even begin explaining it. "I...I...Had to come see you. Your the only one who would understand...Who could help me." He begun breathing slower, catching his breath in the comfort of Eli's arms. He nuzzled his head into the other man's chest briefly, before withdrawing and looking back up at the man, worry evident in his eyes. "I killed someone."
Sure, the person he killed was evil, but they were misguided and really didn't understand anything except violence because of their misguided perception of the world. Instead of helping this person out or doing something else sensible, he killed the man. In cold blood! Nothing would ever be the same again, he couldn't take it back at all. There was nothing he could do about it except feel these enormous pains within his soul, his whole body aching with fear and anxiety. "My whole body...Feels like I've been stabbed with a thousand knives continuously...I can't stop it...I killed someone!" He sighed, his breathing picking up again briefly, before calming himself down again.
He stared back at the boy intently. "Your the only one I can trust, you wouldn't have let something like this happen...Its because of them this happened. Its all because of them." He was talking about his brothers; the brothers who had thrown him into this unbelieveable reality and world; the brothers who are the reason he got involved in the supernatural and why Eli became a vampire; the brothers who led him into battle, where he killed someone in cold blood. Weren't brothers supposed to be there for eachother? "I...Don't know where else to go..."

All red. It was all red. Eli looked at Axel and felt revulsion. Why was he covered in blood right now, and more then anything he wanted to hug the guy but blood was toxic to him. Even touching it causes Eli to sizzle. So grabbing a black thin jacket off of the ground, he slipped it over his torso and wrapped it around him, looking at Axel in concern. He looked like - death. He was so worried that a small inkling of a tear appeared in the corner of his eye as he then went in. He didn't come into skin contact with the blood, it covered enough to hold Axel, and not hurt Eli in the process. It was selfish thinking of his well-being too, but Axel didn't need to see the blood on his skin burning up his boyfriend. He listened to Axel's gapped words and worried even more. Was it his blood? Was it someone elses? Since Eli pays no interest in blood, his senses couldn't tell. All he knew is that Axel was definitely in a bad bad place right now. He held him for a bit, whispering words of comfort as he did as he tried to figure it out. But Axel beat him to the punch. He killed someone.
When he said it, Eli's eyes went wide. Killed - someone. He couldn't believe it. Axel - the nicest and strongest guy he had ever met - had killed someone. Eli went to speak, but no sound came out. Stepping back, he held Axel's shoulders as he looked into his face in a confused state. "What? You - you killed someone. Why?". He asked, not knowing if he should be comforting or mad at this point. He had never taken a life, nearly had taken Axel's but that's about it. He never had much reason too, since blood hurts him and he has a soul, it wouldn't make any sense. But how could Axel do it? Was it the circumstances? Was he attacked and it was self-defense. Right now Axel just seemed broken and unmended, and needed support. Eli didn't know what to do, he didn't know if words could fix this. Or if it would make things worse.
He spoke how he felt, and it was heartbreaking. Eli couldn't be mad, this wasn't him. It must have been a mistake because the way Axel spoke, it sounded like he could never get over it. "Hey, hey. Shoosh, we will figure this out". He said as he led him towards the couch. Eli sat next to him and he didn't know what to do. First thing is first, they had to clean him up. When Axel looked into his eyes, Eli looked at him with pure worry and sympathy. He blamed 'them'. Eli didn't needed to be told who they were. His brothers. Right now, Eli was on a rocky road with Axel's brothers. They saved Axel after Eli bit him, they helped save the world from Selena's wrath. Ev protected Claire and Xzavier fixed his engine for half price. But he didn't know what to think of them as brothers. "Of course you can trust me". He assured and put a hand to his head, trying to find a way to make things better now.
"Your here. And you don't need to go anywhere if you don't want to. Leave it to me to take care of you". Eli told him and touched a clear spot on Axel's face before rising. "Let me grab some stuff to clean you up with. I'll be back in a second, I promise". Eli walked into the bathroom with a bowl and put warm water in it. Then he grabbed a face cloth and some rubber glove. He looked into the mirror. Was he really a strong shoulder for Axel? Eli didn't know what to do, this situation was just so abrupt and unknowing. He didn't know what had happened, or what the consequences for what Axel did would be. Both emotionally, physically and by the law. Breaking from his own gaze, Eli made his way back into the bathroom. Setting down next to Axel again, he put the cloth into the bowl and drenched it in warm water with his gloves on. "Babe, I'm going to need to you take your shirt off". Usually it would sound more exciting in other circumstances, but Eli said it as gentle and clear as he could before applying the cloth to Axel's skin to try and take the crimson color off of him.

Eli asked why he had killed someone; the question which had been burning within his mind since the entire ordeal had occured. Why did he kill someone? It was an accident, but it didn't take away the fact that he had actually killed someone, watching as they breathed their last breath, had their last glance of the world. He had watched in horror as the man fell to the ground, pronounced dead only by the confirmation in Axel's terrified eyes. Did he kill this man because he could? The other man didn't fall onto the stake, Axel lunged the stake into the man's heart, confused, but still full of hate towards this man for who he was. This man may have killed him if he didn't make a move, but it didn't remove the piercing guilt from Axel's mind. "I thought he was a vampire. But it doesn't matter, I killed someone because I was reckless and didn't bother using my senses to determine whether he was a vampire or not." There was no excuses, and he wasn't going to be making any. His future nephew had told him to rely on his senses, and look where doing the exact opposite had gotten him. Maybe this was something he had come back to stop, and Axel walked right into it?
He eyed Eli as he tried calming him down. "There is no figuring this out. I have blood on my hands Eli, and it isn't my blood! Then theres the body....Shit, the body! Now the cops are going to find it and then come after me. This is a fucking mess!" He put his head down, resting his head on his clenched fist as he thought for a second of all of the potential consequences of everything he had done. Murder was in his blood now, it was consuming him, he could feel the darkness itching its way to his surface. Was there anyway he could stop the darkness? Was there any possible chance that he would be able to overcome this? He knew he couldn't do it alone, he wasn't strong enough anymore. The guilt was too intense, too strong. There was no escaping it, just enduring it.
When Eli went away, his mind lapsed for a moment, and he heard voices, voices from that scene. His brothers shouting towards him, he could feel his own heart beating intensely. The terror in his mind at what he had just done. He could see everything so clearly as if he was going through it again, he could smell everything, almost taste the blood on his lips. It was sickening. He could feel the blood dripping over his body as he held the dying man, confused at everything which had just happened; everything he had just committed. Then Eli brought back a wet cloth and he snapped out of it, looking up at Eli for a moment, before listening to Eli and taking his shirt off. Eli was wiping the blood off of his body, but Eli couldn't wash away the inside, no one could, not even him. He remained quiet, and still, not really sure what to say anymore. What was the point?

The wet hand-towel ran over Axel's neck and cheek, and it came off, turning the white towel red. A dark crimson that smelt horrible, but it covered Axel. As Eli concentrated on getting the blood off of Axel's skin, he heard what he said and he froze, looking up at Axel. Way to make things in Axel's already severely messed up life just that bit more fucked up. Eli just looked at him, and realized how big of a mistake it was. Imagine, stabbing someone through the heart with a stake, only for them to lie dead instead of bursting into dust. Eli ran it through his mind, and didn't speak as he continued scrubbing the blood off of Axel. Even though the sight of blood made him want to vomit and a large amount of it could probably kill him, he would do anything for Axel. Even if it meant fixing this big mess. But the towel was baring red, and the shower would have to do. Before he said it though, Axel spoke again and just worried Eli more.
"Hey, it will be okay. Listen, don't break down on my now. We will figure this out. Babe, I promise". Eli said as he put her head next to Axel's, cradling hugging him over his head. The blood stains in his hair sizzled slightly against his skin, but he didn't care. So he whispered "Everything will be alright". He wasn't sure how, but he would do it. Everette had killed someone, and he was coping okay. But this was different, Ev knew demon from human and lost it. Axel had made a mistake, something that could change his life forever. So Eli had to do something. Parting, small amount of smoke coming from his cheek but healing quickly, he looked at Axel and tried to give a comforting expression. Something between sympathetic puppydog eyes and a warm smile. He knew of what he had to do, and even though it was horrible it had to be done.
"Have a shower, get cleaned up and wait here. I have a scent, and I will find the body. You don't have to worry Axel". He told him seriously, and running a hand down his back he then rose and shot towards the door in a mission walk, grabbing his leather jacket on the way. Marching towards the door, he glanced back at Axel for a second before leaving. He had to do this for Axel, and even if he had to burn the body he had to get rid of it. He was willing to do anything. Maybe that was the vampire coming out inside him, maybe it was just his willingness to help Axel. Whatever it was it was powering him to do something about it. And with the windows open and crusing down downtown he followed the scent to an alley way, where the smell just radiated from. With his leather jacket on, he jumped out of his truck and walked down the alley. He could hear stray cats fighting, an animalistic screaming in the darkness. He ignored it and kept moving, but as he made his way through the alley the smell was getting fainter. It was depleting, and he realized with his night vision that - the body wasn't their.
He scanned the alley and nearby ones at least four time, even leapt over building tops to try and find it. But nothing. As he fell down the side of the building, he landed with a thud on the ground and looked sighed. Maybe it wasn't a human, if it could just get up and walk away. But it was too clean. No blood stains or puddles, nothing. It was only then that the hint of white caught his eye as he turned towards it, looking confused. Moving closer, he realized it was a piece of paper. No, a - a business card. Picking it up, drops of blood were dabbed onto the card as he read it. "Complements of Hart Enterprises. --- Arial Dawson". Confused he then looked at the back of the card. Written in black pen, he grew more worried. "We will be in touch!" Worriedly, he slipped the card into his pocket and walked away, leaving whatever could have been a mess behind. Would this give Axel peace of mind? Or would it worry him more that now they owed a depth to the princess of conspiracy; Ariel Dawson.
