Shannelle had felt in a very forgiving mood when she woke up. She found herself wanting to just open up the door, go out there and.. Yes, what the hell did she want to do? She shook her head and turned a page around of her magazine as she lazily leant on her bed. She already had classes, which in this case were - luckily - only in the morning. And now she was here, not doing anything else than being bored out of her wits.
"Ugh!" She groaned, as she got up, threw the magazine in a corner and got dressed again, before going out of her room and taking the bus out to the police station, where she looked around her. "Excuse me, have you seen Daryl?" She asked, as she looked at the receptionist, with an easy smile. "And you are..?" The woman asked, on which Shannelle started to fidget. Why was she here? What was she doing here?
She knew she wanted to see him.. Daryl, but why? She hated him, didn't she? She hated who he was, what he had done to her.. She just hated him.. Or did. She wanted to forgive him, give him a chance and give this.. Whatever this was.. a shot. "If he's busy.. Can you just tell him that Shannelle came to see him?" She asked, looking at the receptionist, who wrote something down. Probably Psycho girl came to see you. Which could also mean Cassie.

Daryl threw his paperwork down on his desk in frustration as he leaned backwards and with a sigh closed his eyes as he could even focus less than he could usually, because since pretty early this morning when he had got up, Shannelle's face, the conversations he'd had with her, and especially his feeling for her were just even stronger and clearer than before that, and even though he had arrested a suspect just an hour ago or so, he still couldn't really concentrate on anything else.
So he sighed again as he let his hands slid across his face and closed his eyes then as he pinched the bridge of his nose, trying to think how he was going to handle this, that if it stayed like this, how he was ever going to keep sane if his attempts were going to keep failing, why couldn't he just convince her his intentions were right? That the last thing he'd ever wanted to do was hurt her, turn her into the thing that he was himself, he didn't want her to maybe even get the same feeling for instance that he had, the same responsibility for someone especially, she deserved better.
Then his ears caught something outside of his new finally received office since one had been emptied out since that person was transferred to another division. But it was a very familiar voice, a voice that instantly made his heart make a jump and him sit up straight and bite his lip. Was she really here? Had he really heard her say that she was looking for him? He shook his head, deciding not to waste time and keep thinking about it and got up from his chair and walked to the door of his office which he opened.
Daryl walked to the receptionists desk where she was standing and asking the receptionist where he was. 'Shannelle..' He said, not really being able to hide his surprise but happiness that came with it seeing her here, for him. 'You okay? Do you want to... Talk? We can talk here if you'd prefer or my office?' He asked her, not wanting to push her in anyway if he could, giving her the choice for some more privacy or to keep it somewhat public.

Cassie was outside on the bench across the street from the Police Station, she sat there with a foam cup in hand as she took a sip of her tea. It was a nice day out, and she’s been sitting there a while now. After Darryl came to work, she saw him walk into his office earlier. It was a bit breezy, as she saw a leaf fall off a near by tree and blew away. She had to work tonight, which she really wasn’t looking forward too. She took another sip of tea as she looked at some civilians walk by as she smiled at them and as they greeted each other. Cassie followed Darryl because she really liked him and he was one of the first guys who ever showed her true kindness since moving here.
She took another sip of her tea as she looked down at the floor and she saw another leaf fall, it was odd weather she noticed but it didn’t bother her. As she lifted her head, she saw that girl, the girl Darryl always follows, that girl she met at the store. Her name was Shanelle she remembered. What was she doing here Cassie thought to herself? Shanelle hated Darryl last she remembered but yet here she was, at his job, out of the blue, with no real reason whatsoever. Cassie wasn’t sure what to make out of it but she only had one thing to say. “Oh…wow…lovely”.
Casssie got up as she looked both sides before crossing the street. She crossed the street as she walked pass a near by garbage can. She threw her foam cup she had tea in away as she slowly lured into the L.A.P.D. office. She walked into the door and quickly hid into the first corner she got. She saw Shanelle standing there, she seemed odd today, more odd than usual ash she heard Shanelle asking to see Darryl. Cassie wondered what was going on but the whole day was rather odd but what can she say. She then saw Darryl come out of his office, Cassie smiled a bit at sight of Darryl but deep down she was hurt a bit, she saw the way Darryl saw Shannelle, he never looked at Cassie in that way before. She often wished he did though.

Shannelle saw Daryl come out of what looked like an office and felt somehow happy he had his own office. Why was she feeling like this? It didn't make sense, whatsoever. And yet, she still was. So, she carefully took a few steps closer to him, after giving the receptionist a dirty look. "Hey," she said, as she tilted her head to the side and being welcomed by a wave of her hair she had pulled in a sideways braid.
"Have I come at a bad time?" She then decided to ask, at the way he had called her name. He seemed surprised, but still happy, as to which she was glad. She was glad to see him and to not have to ponder over the idea of going to see him or not. She just simply decided to come here. "I'm fine, I am.. I just wanted to see you." She admitted, as she nodded and looked in the direction of where he had come from. "Your office sounds fine." She said, looking back at him.

When Daryl was at the desk he thought he saw Shannelle give the receptionist a dirty look, but he couldn't help but smile slightly because he was actually happy to see that the look for once wasn't meant for him, and maybe even because she hadn't been able to see him, which he would talk to the receptionist himself about later, Shannelle was a special circumstance and he would just have to explain that somehow, but that would come later.
He kept looking at her, smiling because of her hey and the way she tilted her head and the wave of her hair that came with it in the sideways braid, which made her look amazing as always in his opinion. 'No, no of course not, I always have time for you.' He tried to say with a meaningful smile to try and make it obvious that he meant it in the best way possible and not trying to be creepy or something with it. When she said she just wanted to see him, his heart jumped obviously enough again in a warm and happy feeling that came, followed by a short suspicion if he hadn't just fallen asleep at his desk and had a good dream for once instead of just a nightmare with the hard truth.
But the way she said it and her smile seemed too real to be a dream. That she was fine was a good feeling for him too, because he wanted her to feel good after all so he nodded and smiled. 'Good, of you being fine, that's really good to hear.' When she said his office was fine he nodded with the smile still on his face. 'Follow me then.' He said not giving much attention to anything else and signing her to come along with his hand as he started walking back to his office, thinking now that she would follow him so they could talk in private. So once he was inside his office, he held the door open for her and waited for her to be inside.

The interaction between Shannelle and Darryl was, well it was different. Cassie, who spends most her time looking at Darryl has inherited the knack of analyzing people. She could tell their emotions, their body language. Let’s just say, Cassie knew how people spoke with their body, it’s something she just knows and by the looks of it, both Shannelle and Darryl were acting out of character, not how they usually acted. Either way it seemed like Darryl was inviting Shannelle into his office, Cassie couldn’t believe it, she couldn’t stop here, she couldn’t stop now. Cassie looked around and quickly bolted it for the door, not making herself noticed of course. She stood outside the building, she worried, she had to know what was going to happen, she quickly ran across the block to the side of the building.
Cassie was on the left side of the building, on the side where Darryl’s office was, she looked around, she couldn’t find anything but she did know where his window was. She then saw this aluminum garbage can nearby she quickly made her way towards the garbage can as she tried to lift it up, it was a bit heavy but it seems desperation gives you super strong strength. She managed to get it right under Darryl’s office window as she climbed onto it and right on her tip toes, managed to get her eyes over the ledge to see into the office.
She couldn’t see if Shannelle, but she did see Darryl, handsome as usual she thought to herself. She continued to lurk through the window, finally getting to see a glimpse of Shannelle. She once again notices how weird the both of them were acting. It was really out of character for both of them but Cassie was worried she may lose Darryl. She saw them and all she could mutter out was. “Oh…wow…Lovely”

"It's good to hear that." Shannelle said, smiling warmly at him, before pulling a few locks of hair out of her face. He looked good in the clothes he was wearing and even though he looked a bit suspicious, she couldn't blame him for that. But, still.. She'd been too busy telling herself she hated him, that she forgot to notice how good he looked or how he really seemed to care about her.
She followed him to his office and got in, as she felt a little bit nervous, as soon as she had stepped foot inside. "You know, I just thought it was really crazy I didn't forgive you for what you did.. I do want to do that, 'cause I kind of need someone to talk to, as well.. And well.. I don't know.. I like you, I do. I was just too proud to admit it, I guess." She said, as she looked at him.

Daryl nodded with a smile still present on his face as he kept looking at Shannelle and her face and watched as she removed a few locks of hair from her face, which only made him notice more how amazing he thought she looked, every time it seemed to surprise him again if he really got the time to look, but when he was following her in the shadows, he didn't do it too much, he didn't want to be more creepy than he knew he already was with that.
He couldn't say that he thought that he was acting strange for his doing, Daryl had a huge crush and strong feelings for Shannelle from the first moment he saw her, and they had only increased since then, so now that she was here, for him, willing to talk to him, not looking disgusted at him or anything like that, he just wanted to approach this situation as good as possible, he wanted to treat her as good as possible.
When they were in his office, Daryl was too busy with closing the door and turning to look at Shannelle again to notice that they were being watched, but none of that mattered anyway, all that mattered now was Shannelle and this moment. He stood right in front of her, with his desk behind her a few steps away, but he didn't stand too close just in case, respecting her space too of course as he listened to her words. He swallowed because of them, hearing her say that she wanted to forgive him, that she liked him and even said that she really did, he didn't know what to say to that instantly so swallowed first against the slight obstruction he felt in his throat. 'I never expected you to forgive me simply... I know what I did, but if you want to forgive me, that would be great, and like I said, you can always come to me, for anything.' He told her, his voice sounding softly but his words sounding full of meaning and honesty he thought.
'You're amazing Shannelle, and I would do about anything to make you happy.' He said before he really realized it, as he of course had thought of a few exceptions, but the rest? He meant every word he said as he cautiously stepped closer to her while looking straight at her and into her eyes, those eyes that again released so much good and warm feelings inside of him, and her words had definitely caused a him to flush and get a clear blush on his face, because hearing her say that she liked him, really meant a lot to him after all, even if there was something nagging at him about this, could anyone blame him? He was madly in love with her, and he heard her say and especially believed her when she said that she liked him.

Cassie had no idea what was going on, she couldn’t hear anything but she only caught some of the words coming out of their mouths. But Cassie was shocked she saw Shannelle’s lips move, it said liked, Shannelle said she liked Darryl, she lied to her Cassie thought, Shannelle lied to her about not liking Darryl. Cassie watched on, knowing what might happen next. Cassie tried to think maybe Shannelle said limed, but why would she say limed, it was for certain like, Cassie almost lost balance for a bit but managed to stand steady, once she could peep through the window again, there Darryl was speaking. Cassie couldn’t really make out what he was saying either.
She never got a word Darryl was saying but then her heart dropped, she was speechless, Darryl moved closer to Shannelle, he was staring at her, like he desired her, straight into her eyes. He looked at Shannelle like he never looked at Cassie before, like he liked her, adored her, wanted to be with her. Cassie was upset, she stood there watching as things between Darryl and Shannelle seem to be changing quickly, Cassie contemplated if she should stay standing here, suffer through the pain of what may happen next. Or should she leave, save her heart, save her emotions.

Shannelle looked at him, as she listened to what he said to her and the meaning behind those words. The way he spoke.. The true meaning of how much he cared about her, was in love with her.. How could she possibly have missed that? She did, because she was too busy being selfish. "I don't want to spend all my energy hating you when I can spend it better, by liking you." She carefully stepped around the desk and took a step toward him having made up her mind on what she wanted to do. "I do forgive you, Daryl." She said, meaning it.
When he said, he'd do anything to make her happy, she smiled and then kissed him. "I really wanted to do that." She said softly, as she looked at him, as she stood on her toes, with a hand placed on his cheek. "And you know, you look really cute when you're blushing." She teased, before kissing him again.

Daryl didn't even know for sure if he was to be honest if Shannelle had ever realized that he was so much in love with her, or that he was in love with her to begin with, but he was, and he was sure that he was now making that even more clear for her, but he just couldn't help it, now that she was standing her in front of him, seemingly open to it, he just wanted nothing else but to tell her.
Again Daryl couldn't help but smile at her words of not wanting to spend all of her energy hating him, if she could just spend it liking him and he kept his eyes completely locked on hers as he followed her when she stepped around the desk and took a step herself toward him, which made them stand right in front of each other with not that much space left to fill in between them. 'I have to say that sounds pretty logical.' He said with a soft laugh while slightly tilting his head to the side while still staring in her eyes, especially once he thought he saw that she had made up her mind and how she told him that she forgave him, and that he was sure he saw that she meant it, something which made his heart pump with a pretty much increased speed because of how happy and warm that made him feel.
Daryl honestly hadn't expected yet to be kissed by Shannelle, but once he had said that he would do about anything for her, and she did kiss him, he couldn't describe how amazing it felt and instantly kissed her back, automatically slightly closing his eyes. 'And I secretly wanted to do it myself or you to do it.' He admitted in a soft voice and also having the warm pleasant feeling of her hand on his cheek as he himself, a little cautiously still not to scare her anyway, put his hand on her waist to support her too with standing on her toes. He only blushed more when she told him that he looked cute when he was blushing but before he could say something about the teasing, she kissed him again and he kissed her back while pulling her automatically a little closer to him. 'Really? But I do admit that I always want to look as cute as possible for you.' He told her with his voice soft again and a little more quiet than first too.

Cassie was heartbroken, Shannelle kissed Darryl, she did not know what to make of this. Cassie was confused she looked through the window as a tear slowly rolled down her cheek. She looked away as she leaped off the trash can she was standing on looking into the room. She walked down the street, lonely, scared and heartbroken. Cassie was confused, she had to go to work, how could she, she felt betrayed, she felt broken, she didn’t know what to do anymore. Cassie walked down the street, heading towards the Golden Cuisine, she had to clear her head but she couldn’t the sight continued to go through her mind and she didn’t know what to do anymore.
(I think this is it for Cassie in this thread lol)
