     Ai practically stalked her way in. It was her first real night in town, and she was ready to do some damage... As it were. She was looking for a place with good music that attracted great conversation, a normal Ai staple. Since her mother had been an entertainer of sorts, Ai had inherited a lot from her (though never let it be said she wasn't her father's daughter too). Drawn by praise of people that Ai worked with in the fashion business, she thought that maybe she could start here, now that the sun had set. So far the music wasn't bad, though the line was atrocious... She would have to get a few hollywood friends to start taking her places so she could get in for free. The buzzing had started the moment she had stepped out of her car, Ai had to find a way to make it stop! She stopped a moment and took a couple of breathes. This would hopefully calm her down enough to get through the buzzing.
Ai had no clue where the buzzing had come from initially, it only seemed to go off when people were around. She eventually just came to the conclusion that either it would get better or worse and she would snap and throw herself out of her flat in the early morning and burn to death during the day. Either way it wasn't going to stop her and she walked to the bar for a simple cover. "Hey babe, make a girl the strongest drink you got," she ordered from the bartender with a wink.
Downtown LA... Ai was contemplating opening her new shop here. But she worried that it was to far from her clientele in Hollywood... As she thought about the task that she had set herself she walked to an open table. She stared into her drink contemplating where she should open and whether or not LA was a good idea... To be honest, she probably just looked depressed, like she had just been dumped by her last lover and was out to hide the fact she was still depressed most likely. She sighed... These were the things they never taught you in business school...

What was Kai doing at Midnight? Just came to let loose for a bit. Of course it could probably have done without going to another bar that wasn't his own but even the owners to need to let loose away from there own nests once in a while. At least that was Kai thought. Besides he needed to get away from his bar every once in a while. If he was really need his employees could just call him up if he is really needed and it was normally was simply to end some dispute between vamps which really annoyed him so his customers knew to take any fights outside. So now Kai was here. It didn't take much for him to get inside.
Once in he went up to the bar. He had already fed on blood so he wouldn't exactly be needing any anytime soon. He went straight up to the bar and ordered a drink. He looked around the bar. He could smell the blood that ran through the veins of the humans as they danced around. It was rather amusing really. There blood mixed with the smell of sweat as they danced away. Then that was when another smell came into his presence. The smell of vampire blood. It wasn't uncommon to smell vamps among humans. This one was nearby though. With a quick follow of his nose he found her. Yes, a girl. She was up at the bar and she was extremely attractive. Two things he liked. He just smirked as he gave her look up and down. He called over the bartender that was fixing her drink and had him give it to her for free since Kai would pay for it. Let's see if that grabs her attention as Kai walked over to an open booth. So tonight wouldn't be a waste. That was good. |

Through the buzz and her own thoughts a scent wafted over the crowds. Ai paid it no attention as she tried to hand the money to the bar keep. He waved her no and pointed at another young Asian man. Ai smiled and nodded at him and held up her glass. Her mind was so set on deciding if LA was a smart choice or not that she didn’t quite get the fact that the scent was Vampire Blood. She just ignored it for a while she sipped the drink that was almost like water to her advanced system.
Ai turned around and looked at the crowd. LA was a fashion metropolis, if Ai opened her store there it would be another in the area with one big exception. Ai was an already established label. She sighed and put her most current problem behind her. It was solved and she could relax to the awesome music now. It was then the scent she’d been smelling wafted passed her nose a second time. “Vampire?” she said softly to herself. She looked around again and then smiled at Kai. Ah, that explained it.
She sauntered her way to the dance floor and put her drink on an empty table. She started whipping her body around to the beat of the song every so often checking to see if she still had the other Vampire’s attention. Eventually she smiled in his direction and said just load enough his sensitive hearing should be able to pick it up over the sound of the music, “You do all that work to get my attention, and you just sit there like a bump on a log? Come now. There’s hot music, the smell of dinner on the air and a vampire looking for a good time.” She winked at him and turned her back to him again as she continued swaying.
“That is, unless you’re scared of big bad little ‘ole me?” she shouted over her shoulder so he could her.

Kai made himself comfortable in the booth and just looked out into the dance floor. What he was doing was something he normally did when he came to Midnight Bar. He was fishing. Fishing for the night's fun. He would sit for a while until he could find the right little fish and then he would attack. He wasn't picky when it came to gender. He was just looking for fun after all. Of course he did have that pretty little Asian vamp as a contender if she bit the bait. And by the looks of it she had. He smirked to himself as he drank from his glass.
Now this time it was Ai's turn to grab Kai attention. His gaze had slithered over to the dance floor again. That was until he spotted the young vampire making her way to it. After another she began to sway to the beat. He only knew that she was trying to get his attention because she kept looking over his way. He watched as she moved. His ears perked up when he heard her voice above the music. A human would have to have been nearby her to make out what she was saying but she spoke just loud enough that his ears were able to pick it up. He smirked and in the blink of an eye he was behind her dancing closely before whispered in his ear. "It's big bad little 'ole you that caught my attention in the first place." he said in her ear as he placed a hand on her waist as they dance. "Kai." he said introducing himself. |

The point of Kai's visit was to find some fun. He was looking to get loose for a while. He had had a long week at Bloodlust and so he wanted to relax for the night. His plan being to find something little sweet prey he could have fun with, maybe take home and have some private time. This was how things normally worked out for him. In the process if he got some blood forcefully or willingly then it worked for him. It wasn't like he couldn't compel them to forget the night's events if wanted to. It would be like nothing had happened in the first place. He'd have his fun and not have to worry about what happened in the morning. After all he couldn't afford any mistakes.
Thankfully things were definitely looking up for him at the moment. "You can call me whatever your heart desires my dear." he whispered into her ear as they danced. He smirked at her little pun. "The pleasure is all mine." he said as she placed her hand of his that he had on her waist. He smriked again at her question. "Things are definitely getting a lot more appealing. Now that I get to dance with a very beautiful creature of the night." |
