It seemed that it took for hours. Just long roads and alot of small towns she had to pass through. With a packet of Cheetos and loud pop music, Lana made her way from Detroit to Los Angeles, taking a few hours. She had to stop for directions here and their, and was lucky enough to run into nice people along the way. There was a drunken gay parade in some town, which had the nicest people that had finally made her smile. But now she was in LA and searching for the house. Should she call it her new home or was that a bit premature? All she knew it was a house full of guys. One of them a mechanic and another one a retailer so, they seemed like they would be okay. Things were really organized though, which was eery. Like her transcripts already at the highschool, the boys having notice that she was coming and a government fund put for her to make things easier. This did make things easier, but when Bobby gets back he will want her to live with him. That is what she wanted anyway. Cruising down the long road, she held up a sticky note with the address on it. Oh, it's there. Glancing, she saw the two story home as she drove into the driveway, slowing down to a hault. Home sweet home?
Pulling up, she didn't know what to expect. Were they hippies or like all scared up from fighting vampires? All she knew about them was what social services told her and also the stories her father told her. She knew their age, what they did for a living and whatever. But the stories her father told her was a destiny. Three brothers, bound together to fight evil with amazing super powers. It was a bit of a stretch but after everything in her life she had seen, it could be true. They were the Brothers Trinity, and apparently kicked a lot of ass. Seemed like Lana would have to hide more of herself then she expected. Reaching into the trunk of the car, she grabbed her handbag, backpack and her suitcase as she removed the shades from her eyes to look at the house. Nice actually. You wouldn't think two guys lived their at all. Shutting the door, she adjusted herself as she made her way towards the door. Walking up slowly, inspecting the whole frame as she approached.
She was nervous. For a split second, she was wanted to turn back to the car and drive off to an alternate home. But she couldn't. If you think about it, demons killed her parents, who else better protect her then demon hunters. Magic, strength and unhuman qualities in one house and to stop evil from getting her. She swallowed all of this with a breath, and knocked twice on the door. Lowering her arm, she waited as the wind blew through her blonde hair. ''No doorbell... Such guys''. She smirked slightly as she adjusted the bag on her back and waited.

Xzavier blew out a breath as he gave the house one last glancing sweep. Their cousin Lana was coming over and while he didn't exactly care if the house was spotless, he wanted it to look nice and welcoming to her. Okay, everything looks presentable. She won't think we're total slobs, he thought. Then, he mentally shook his head. Why was he freaking out? It was just Lana for heaven's sake. She probably wouldn't care if the house was a mess. She had them for years and had seen their bad habits.
A knock on the door brought Xzavier out of his reverie. Okay, here it goes, he thought to himself and went to open the door. "Hey, come on in," he invited the girl and opened the door wider to allow her access.

Should she feel like she is imposing? They were family, and Evans people were pretty tight with blood. In her brothers' case, it was the last name that bound them. But she was sent to interfer with her cousins' lives and she wasn't cool with it. She felt bad, but that is who she is. She wasn't cool with the charity, the helplessness and the fact that she had to depend on other people. It wasn't her, but if she thought practically about it, what else could she do? So she waited at the door and felt pretty nervous. She hadn't seen Ev and Xzavier in a long time, so it would be good to catch up. It would be interesting to see how the two goofy teens ended up. Xzavier used to remind her a lot of Bobby. Both of them kind of hard and protective, but having that degree of sensitivity about them. Maybe having Xzavier there would make the seas that separated her and her brothers seem a bit smaller.
The door opened and her memory of him rushed back. She remembered when he used to put Dylan in a headlock and Dylan would growl but Xzavier was too strong. It used to be hilarious, even though her mother would freak out a fair bit. He met her with a smile as he asked her to come in. She smiled at him, observing him first. ''Thanks''. She spoke shyly as she stepped through the threashold into the house. Looking around, it was really nice. Not giant but cosy, and she kind of loved it. It was really kind of brown, happy and family-like. Even if it was only temporary, she was kind of excited to live there. Turning to him, she gave him a small smile as she adjusted her handbag, looking to Xzavier.
''Thanks for doing this X. Even if it just until Bobby or Dylan come back. I appreciate it. But where's Ev? And this new-found brother of yours''. She gave him another smile as she put her suitcase on the ground for a second. Another reason to feel intrusive; it wasn't like things were easy here. The new brother, the apocolypse and all that crap. Now they had to look after the orphan cousin who couldn't save her parents. They might not know the truth, but she did. A glisten and she could have saved them. She regretted not being there.

Xzavier studied Lana as she walked through the door. She seemed so nervous. But why? She didn't have anything to be nervous about. "Is everything okay?" he asked gently. He watched as she adjusted her handbag.
He smiled at her as she thanked him. "No thanks necessary. We're family. You're welcome to stay here as long as you need or want to," he assured her.
When she asked where Everette was and about Axel, he frowned. What could he tell her? "Everette's dealing with some personal stuff. It's not my place to tell, so you'd have to talk to him about it. And as for Axel..." Xzavier's voice trailed off. "He's---he's pretty new to us, so I'm not sure what he's up to," he admitted. Then, "Can I get you anything, or do you just wanna crash?"

When he asked if she was okay, she realized how faded her poker face must have been. Nervous, anxious and kind of embarrased all at the same time seemed to seep through and he read her like a book. Kind of an Evans' trait, being able to tell if someone is okay or not. But she didn't want to say something to make her look like a cruel ungrateful bitch at all, so she smiled at him instead. She had to be more optimistic. Even if it is just for a bit, Xzavier didn't seem to mind her staying at all. Let's just say that she is polite and leave it at that. "No, nothing. Just that strange sense that I am imposing at a very bad time. Not that I am not happy about spending time with my fav cuz, but it's just - weird". She gave him a reassuring smirk that said 'i'm alright' and left it at that.
Things with him and his brothers seemed - - intense. Like they were growing apart, especially Ev and Xzavier. He could see it in his eyes. Who knows what is up with Ev and she couldn't really say anything on behalf of this Axel guy, but she could at least try to help him. "Come on X, you and Ev are like two nonidentical twins. And even with Axel, you just have to let him in. You don't have to tell me twice that Evans' are personal people, but you guys are the freakin' Trinity Brothers dude. Destiny and all". She smiled but then thought of her parents. She had been questioning destiny, and she didn't believe in it. The Evans line will prevail and the world will be saved. Just books with predictions, not truths. If so, then her parents wouldn't be dead.
"It's okay, I won't be able to sleep anyway. Um - I don't know really. Maybe a soda if you have one?". She looked to him and then turned as she picked up her bag again and moved towards the living room. Looking in, she saw what they had. She dug the surround sound and 50 inch, but she focused on the pictures. Looking, she saw her aunt's wedding with little Xzavier and Ev. She continued and saw their great great grandfather when he younger and then her parents. It was before she was born, and they were truely happy. Seeing it, she quickly looked away before sitting on the couch, swinging the back next to her as she waited for Xzavier.

Xzavier didn't really believe Lana was as okay as she seemed to be, but he wasn't going to press it. She went on to say that she didn't want to be intruding and he shook his head. "You're not imposing at all. We're glad to have you," he assured. He listened as she reminded him that he and Everette were like non-identical twins.
At the mention of destiny, he saw her eyes cloud and knew she was thinking of her parents. "Destiny's a bit overrated, I like to think of fate as being what we make it," he said. He nodded when she mentioned wanting a soda. "Yeah, we got a coke in the fridge. I'll get it," he answered and then went into the kitchen, opened the refrigerator, grabbed a couple of cokes, and then walked back to her, and handed her one, and then opened his own. He then looked at her in concern, unsure of what to say or do next.
