Mari is smart but shy, cheeky when needed but respectful. Always willing to make someone laugh or crack a joke, her gifts make her a bit of a recluse to avoid being overwhelmed. Her history is dark but she never seems to let it get her down for very long and loves to help others when she can. She came from a very strict Victorian upbringing and while she holds herself to these standards she doesn't expect others to adhere to them.

Mari has dark black hair and brown eyes and her form is very delicate and pale. Her disability keeps her from being a dancer but she still has an innate grace from all the training she has received.

Mari is in need of friends. She tends not to judge others and is pretty even tempered unless you are trying to get her riled up. She loves to tease and has a good idea of where the line is for folks comfort levels.

When everything's made to be broken

Everyone has people that dislike them and Mari is no exception. Her first enemies are her father and stepmother. They torment her with how flawed she is and take great delight in knowing what buttons to push.

Mari's relationship with her family is very complex. They have protected her from serious dangers but her father abuses her so there is this innate conflict within her regarding her family. She loves them but she is terrified of them at the same time.

I just want you to know who I am

Because of her abuse issues in her past (which will come out in roleplay), Mari has a hard time trusting anyone, especially good looking or charming males. They remind her of her philandering dad and she had enough of that kind of behavior growing up (being an empath sucks sometimes). She is a one guy kinda girl and when things get to the serious dating stage she expects the same in return.
