Standing at the third floor reference desk Merry brushed her hair out of her eyes, her brown hair gleamed in the light and she shifted slightly and her pants swished lightly. Her outfit was casual but elegant and was comfortable. She leaned forward and looked at the ask a librarian file. Pulling out one of the questions she began looking up the information and jotting the information on the form. Her nails were a light pink and sparkled as she moved her hands and her bracelets clinked lightly as she moved. Her makeup was done in a neutral set of tones to give her a more earthy and approachable look. Before she knew it the question was answered and she was calling the name on the card. The woman thanked her and she hung up with her. Next came a patron wanting to know where the history section was. She jotted down a note and handed it to him with a smile as he walked off. Reaching over to her left she gripped her water bottle gently and took a sip.

Cassie looked at the building; she was amazing by how big it was. One of the biggest buildings she has ever seen before. The Library, not as fancy and old like back home, but certainly as special as the one back in England because it had books, thousands of books, many of which she haven’t read yet. Cassie loved reading, it was her own little escape from the world Library she thought to herself Library, an organized collection of books, other printed materials, and in some cases special materials such as manuscripts, films and other sources of information. Its collections can be of print, audio, or visual materials. Why she knew these tiny facts? Beyond here knowledge, must be all the reading.
She walked into the library, the smell of books, paper, years of the written form of art. Something she truly appreciated. She walked into the building, in complete aw, looking around up at the building, it was beautiful, remarkable. She couldn’t wait to get lost into a book, it was better than getting lost in her thoughts. Maybe they had a connection, who knew. Regardless, she was getting herself a few books. She saw this woman standing at the reference desk. She thought she’d ask for some help. Couldn’t hurt to ask she assumed so she went for it.
She walked towards the woman, beautiful woman, carried herself with grace, it’s the first thing Cassie noticed about her. Cassie smiled and asked her a question. “Oh hi, I’m Cassie, I’m kind of new here, I’ve got to say the place really looks lovely. Oh…wow…I was wondering if you could help me?” Cassie smiled as she awaited the woman’s response.

Merry looked up from the computer and smiled at the other woman, moving away from the computer she beamed at the young blond woman, "Thank you for for the complements. I'll be sure to pass your appreciation along to the designers. How can I help you, Miss?" she asked politely as she moved from behind the desk. Stretching her legs and moving a bit.
Her silk pants swished as she came from behind the counter to better assist the blond woman. She relaxed, her lanyard catching the light as she moves herself over to where Cassie was. She placed a hand on her hip gently and relaxed casually.
She loved the library and it always made her feel like she belonged here. It made her heart light and when she was here working on something she often lost track of time till she was needed on a desk or had to go home. She was always excited when others liked the library.

Cassie smiled as the woman asked her how she can help her. The lady was very friendly and happy to help. Cassie liked that, she liked friendly people. They made her feel, sane; they wouldn’t look at her weird or questionable. “Oh…wow…lovely…yes, I’m looking for a book. I don’t know what kind of book. But I like reading”. Cassie smiled looking at the woman who was nice enough to help her. She then looks around at the building, admiring the scenery. “Yes, a book, I like reading but hate the idea of looking for a book”. Cassie continued to smile.
“So maybe you can help me, I’m looking for something romantic, yet devastating, adventurous but not to exotic but fun to read but with loads of pages but the words aren’t too small”. Cassie smiled as she explained to the woman what she wanted to read. Hoping her request wasn’t too complicated for her. “You know, something along the lines of that. Yes…that…lovely”

The brunette librarian paused and listened to her, "So, you want a romance novel. What is your comfort zone for such things? Are we talking very steamy like a sillouette Blaze title or are you looking for something more along the lines of a Harlequin Presents novel where there can be adventure but the major romantic turning point is just a kiss?" Merry walked quietly, the click of her heels echoing as she lead the way to the romance authors, "Many of Amanda Quick's novels are located in the supernatural romance section as are Chelsea Quinn Yarbro, Laurelle K. Hamilton and Charlaine Harris." she says as she gestured to the shelves. "If you're looking for something more humorous we have some chick lit books over there and those deal with more modern issues like work, family and social life." Her body turned lightly and she paused to let the young woman ask questions when she felt the need. The library was quiet which meant she could give the other woman her attention. "There are also a lot of great websites out there. One I love is a bit racy in the title but its really good. Its called Smart Bitches, Trashy Books." the title sounds really outrageous but its a really good source if you're just looking for something that has a good overview of titles."

The woman explained her books, she was fascinated with them. Their names, they were the kind of books she liked reading. She looked at her curiously hearing her thoughts on these books. “Oh wow…lovely…lovely….lovely… sounds amazing. Do you happen to know books about love? Like being in love with someone who doesn’t even notice them and then you just follow them everywhere, knowing where they will be at every….oh wow…sorry…lovely” Cassie took a book a she studied the book.
“I’m in love, he’s so lovely…I think…oh wow…he is”. Cassie studied the book and flipped through the pages, she reads a bit of it and notices she likes it. “Oh…I think I’m going to love this one, it’s really, interesting. Thank you so much miss”

Merry smiled as the blond woman babbled about his guy she liked. "Believe me I totally understand. I've been the girl guys ignored." she said as she thought about what the young woman was saying, "I think its really great that this guy makes you smile. I hope the books help you find ways to get his attention."
"My name is Merry, its a pleasure to meet you. Is there anything else you're interested in? We also have a few romantic movies on DVD if you like." she offered as she tried to gage the blond woman's taste. She folded her hands in front of her and waited. She wanted to make sure that the woman didn't have any other questions or needs. The fact that she was obsessed wasn't Merry's problem. She assumed that if the woman got too weird the guy would take care of it. It wasn't the library's stance to step in on issues like this.

The woman told her her name, Cassie didn’t catch it earlier, she was happy she told her, of course, Cassie went on blabbering, she usually does. “Oh…wow…lovely…Merry, as in Merry Christmas, also referred to as Happy Holidays, the word Merry as is pleasant and agreeable.” Cassie’s smile subdued a bit as she looked down at the books. She only heard Merry’s name, everything else pretty much went in one ear and out the other.
“My heart hasn’t been Merry or happy as of late. He doesn’t see me, or hear me. All he wants is her. But I like her…oh…wow…she’s lovely…lovelier than me, that’s why he doesn’t see me”. Cassie felt a bit weak as she dropped the book she was looking at. She quickly reacted to pick it up as she got up, she then suddenly had a smile on her face again, like nothing ever happened. “oh…wow…sorry for dropping your book. Thank you Merry….also known as happy, could you point me out to the hunting books?” Cassie smiled as she awaited the woman to point her to the hunting books.

This girl was special alright. It was not uncommon to get all different people at the library and some had more issues than others. Still, she seemed nice and even though Merry hated being called Merry Christmas or happy she managed to smile and laugh gently, "Indeed. I find it helps to keep a good humor about things, keeps things from getting too depressing." she said softly.
When she dropped the book and apologized Merry waved her hand good naturedly, "No worries happens to me all the time. The hunting books are this way." she said as she moved with a casual walk over to the proper area. "Here is everything you ever wanted to know about hunting." she waved her hand and paused, "Is there anything else I can help you with? I need to get back to the front desk but if you need further suggestions I can stay a while longer."

Cassie smiled as she looked at the entire area with hunting books. Books she could use to not be seen, to spy, to follow, to go around unnoticed. She wanted to see him, she wanted to talk to him, but he never noticed her. “Oh…wow…lovely…Thank you Merry as in Merry Christmas, the happiest day of the year. Or so the song says, I don’t believe though, I’ve never had a good one, not since I was four. “Cassie walked down the isle of books as she saw all the books she could use to follow Daryl. As she got lost in her books and started her research.
She noticed Merry was gone as she sat on the floor as she looked at the book “Hunting dears”. She smiled as she looked at the book. “Oh wow, lovely, dears are very sensitive and you need to be really quiet when hunting them, he’d never hear me” She thought of how she’d follow him after work. She wasn’t crazy she thought, just a bit more dedicated than most girls.
