Trent could not believe this was happening. He had a roommate. This was not part of the plan. But what was he supposed to do? If he used his powers to procure the room for himself, it would draw too much attention. That was something he would not allow to happen. I swear. If this little human gets on my nerves, I will absolutely end him, he thought to himself. He stared at the boy disdainfully. "This is my side," he told the other boy, gesturing to the side of the room he was already occupying. "You can have that side," he added. Then, "Just don't get in my way and we'll be just fine," he stated, remembering to phrase his words in the present way of talking.

Boy did he love his new roommate, which was strange because most people in his current situation would be asking Campus Life to switch them to a different room, but Zach took it as a way to have some fun this semester. His roommate was not sweet. Was not caring. Was not sharing. Nope, his roommate was a complete douche who thought that he owned the whole damn dorm room, well at least that is how Zach viewed him at this moment. He hadn’t made Zach think otherwise just yet. Zach smirked to himself. Boy was he in for a rude awakening. Zach was never one to just take shit from people. He wasn’t one to start fights, but instigating was like his middle name. And Zach couldn’t miss out on the idea of causing problems with this guy, Trenton.
Zach plopped down on the bed that he was assigned to by this BA in front of him. He bounced on it a bit and looked around at the space that he would be sleeping at for the next semester. “You know, I don’t like the wall being on the left side of the bed. I sleep on my left side and I like to face away from the wall. So, I’m gonna need have that side of the room, sorry, because this one,” Zach shook his head,” it’s just not gonna work for me.” Zach didn’t really know this guy to well, and to be honest, the last thing he wanted was to get beat up, and as fit as this guy looked, it was definitely possible for that to happen. But there was no way he was going to let his new roommate set the rules. They both lived there, which meant they both had to come to agreed decisions about their living conditions. If Trenton didn’t agree to letting up a bit, Zach would just come back at him full force….minus the punching he hoped.

So I'm gonna need to have that side of the room, sorry, this one it's just not gonna work for me," the other boy said with a shake of his head. Trenton bit back a growl as his eyes flashed. who did this boy think he was? Well, he'd put an end to this human's insubordination. He stood in front of the boy, staring at him intently. "You listen to me, I registered here first and I procured the room, which was just supposed to be mine. But since you're here, you're going to stay on the left side and just deal with it," he growled, as he let his pupils dilate, letting forth his compulsion. There. That ought to take care of him, he thought to himself.

Things seemed to be going just as Zach planned. Trenton was getting irritated, he could tell by the look he was giving Zach. And this was how he worked. Zach was a complete instigator. Who did anything he could to make someone he didn't care for aggitated. But just as Zach thought he was for sure going to win this one, Douchebag stepped towards him, and he was sure that he was about to get clocked in the face. But something happened. Trenton stared down at Zach and spoke to him about how he was keeping the right side of the room because he had registered first. And that was it. After Trenton had said that, Zach completely lost all interest in going any further with the argument they were having. He wasn't sure why, but he just didn't care one way or the other what side of hte room he was going to sleep on. "Yeah, sure. That's cool, man. I'll take the left side."
Zach lifted his feet off the floor and extended his body across his left side of the room bed. He put his hands behind his head and sighed. He couldn't figure out why he had just given up on the attempt of being a complete smart ass with this guy. That was his plan a matter of five minutes ago. What the hell happened? Well, he apparently had blown it, so he might as well get to know the guy he was going to be rooming with. "So, where ya from?"

"Yeah, sure. That's cool, man. I'll take the left side." Trenton watched in satisfaction as the boy sat on the bed. Such an obedient little dog, he thought derisively. "I thought you'd see things my way," he commented. "So, where ya from?" the boy asked. "Here and there. Mostly there," Trenton replied. Now I have to endure polite chitchat with the boy. Lovely, he thought to himself. He didn't really care for such pleasantries, but humans seemed to be enamoured with it for some reason. Well, he was playing human and as much as it irritated him, he would have to follow suit...to a small extent at least. "And you? Where are you from?" he asked, trying to keep the disinterest out of his voice. He didn't really care where this human hailed from, however if he volunteered the information, there was a chance that he could use it against him sometime in the future.

"I'm from Miami trick!" Zach sang trying to mimic the LMFAO song with those similar lyrics. He laughed. It didn't sound at all like he wanted it too which took a bit of the funniness out of the situation. And judging by some of the word choices his roomate used, he was pretty sure Trenton didn't even know who LMFAO was. He glanced over at him deciding not to even wait on a response to his unsuccessful joke. "Born and raised in Miami, Florida. And I don't miss it at all man." Trenton did seem interested in what Zach had to say, but he doubted it was at all real interest. "So, i bet you were pretty popular in high school, huh?" Now Zach was just asking random questions. They were things that he wanted to know, more to save his own ass if something went down though.

"I'm from Miami trick!" the boy sang out. Trenton raised an eyebrow at him. What in the world is he talking about? I know the definitions of trick, neither which apply to me he thought to himself. "Born and raised in Miami Florda. And I don't miss it at all man." Trent's eyes flickered with hidden interest at this piece of information. So he had no ties with previoius homes? That was something. If I decide sometime in the future to dispose of him, no one will come looking. That is certaintly good to know, he mused to himself. "So, I bet you were pretty popular in high school, huh?" "Yes. I suppose you could say that," Trenton agreed. Then a burning sensation hit his throat. Oh, lovely. I have to feed, he realized. He could use the roommate, but with the way he was feeling, he'd probably wind up killing him, bringing in all sorts of unwanted attention. "Well, I hate to cut our visit short, but I gotta go out. See ya later," he told the other boy. Then, he hurried out the door and out of the building, going as fast as was normal for a human.
