This movie was so boring, she was almost falling asleep. It was one of those cheesy, yet soppy, romantic movies based off of some romantic novel from decades ago or something. Why did she come and see this movie? Well, the previews did hype up the movie pretty nicely, and conveniently didn't show all these 'cheesy' moments, which was rather clever of them because they are horrible! She sighed as she took another popcorn, eyeing one of her girl friends sitting beside her, before slouching back in the comfy chair, wishing this movie would be over already. It was one of those funny things, when you could easily just walk out, yet they still stayed just to see the movie through. She wished her boyfriend was here, at least she'd have someone to snuggle into and not even have to worry about the movie. He had been so distant lately, it worried her.
She had dressed up nicely tonight, sporting a long velvet dress, not too dressy, but still enough to have guys drooling over her as she walked into the cinema. It was nice, however some of the time, quite annoying because most of them were those nerdy losers coming to watch a movie. She had a feeling they would've ate this movie up, loving every moment of it, because they seemed like such geeky nerds. Geeky nerds? She enjoyed that term, maybe she could start calling people that down the track.
Then the unthinkable happened. The movie ended. She smirked with relief as she looked back at her friends, one of which was tearing up. "No. Just no. Alyse, don't you dare start tearing up on me, that ending was poorly constructed and really didn't do anything for Genevieve and Almando, who were....Oh crap, look what you've made me do, now I'm talking as if I have some bizarre interest in the characters. Lets just leave this horrid movie before I throw the bucket of popcorn over your head for being such a softy." She sighed softly as two of her other girl friends giggled at her remarks. She couldn't understand how Alyse could be tearing up. Sure, she had some downward-spiral relationships, but still this romance movie was so poorly written a high schooler could garner more of her interest with their writing. And that was saying something!
They finally exited the cinema, with the girls soon stating they needed to go to the ladies room. "Okay, just hurry up now, I don't need to have anyone else drooling over this dress while you are all gone..." Sometimes she wondered why she even bothered getting so dressed up, when all it led to was geeky nerds hitting on her, with some missing brain cell in their head assuming that she would want to get with them, or something like that. Eww!

Believe it or not Kai's definition of fun didn't always involve blood and a bed. Really, he knew how to enjoy himself in other ways. Sometimes, on rare occasions he would even stop by and maybe catch a movie. He didn't pay of course. There was no need for that considering he could move faster than normal humans. They wouldn't even realize he came in plus the fact that he could compel them to just let him in. Either way though, it worked in his favor. In all honesty though he didn't actually go for the movies but he figured that he was there, he might as well catch a movie. Normally he would stick to the action or horror films, even though they just made him laugh inside considering how fake they were. If only people knew what real monsters were in the world. And it wasn't like he was there for the actors. They were babies compared to him. Although there a few he wouldn't mind getting into bed with. Kai did enjoy eating the popcorn though. He was born over four hundred years ago, they didn't have that kind of stuff back then.
Kai was just sitting down and finishing up a bag of popcorn as he saw people walking in and out of the theatre and different movies. He was eyeing to see who his next playmate could be. There were a number of possible targets. The big question was what was he in the mood for tonight. He pouted since he was unsure of what he wanted. Then he spotted a pretty young female who was standing in the middle of the floor looking rather annoyed. He found it amusing and gave out a small chuckle. "Doesn't seem to bad." He wiped his hands and threw away the bag and started walking up behind the girl. "Excuse me." he said getting her attention and putting on his best charming smile. "Please don't take this the wrong way but I have to ask why is a woman as hot as you looking so annoyed and frustrated?" he said very casually. "I'm sorry, you probably think I'm some weirdo trying to hit on you. I promise you I'm not. Well, at least I'm not a weirdo. I'm Kai, Kai Lee Jackson."

As she waited, it seemed as if her friends were taking ages. It seemed like whenever she was alone, time just went so slowly, and she became slightly paranoid of what people were thinking of her. After all, beautiful woman in a lovely garment dress, standing alone? That didn't sit right, they probably thought she was on the verge of getting dumped, or something along those lines. Maybe she had already been dumped, and had decided to see soppy romantic movies? Urgh, she cringed inside at even the thought of people thinking about how that way. Now she really wished her girl friends would hurry up, so they could go shopping or waltz down the street doing nothing but laughing at other people's fashion sense or something. That was usually fun.
She begun tapping her foot softly in impatience, before jumping slightly, as she heard a man speak coming up from behind her. She turned, noticing this rather good looking asian man obviously speaking to her, since no one was around where she was standing. She smiled softly at his compliment. He really was a charmer, now wasn't he? "Oh, thank you. Well, you know, just came out from one of those soppy romantic movies, not exactly my idea of a lovely night out. Its almost like when you hear so much about this person, good things, then you meet them and its all like 'why did I even bother'? Pretty much sums up my thoughts tonight." Maybe she was going on too much about the movie, but seeing as the man had asked, why not give it to him, full blown? It was his own fault if he decided she talked too much, something she did get told every now and then...Or more, maybe.
She chuckled sweetly at his funny line and introduction. "Kyra, though just in case you do turn out to be weird, we'll just leave it at Kyra. Though I must admit, I do enjoy seeing someone introduce themselves as their full name, it isn't something you see in this town often." By the sounds of it, this guy was well-respected, and probably rich as well, hence why he would state his full name to her, especially someone he didnt' know at all. She really didn't know where this conversation was going, if anywhere at all, but since her girl friends were taking ages, she decided it couldn't be too bad to talk to the friendly stranger a bit more, who hadn't seemed too weird-yet.
"So, as you seem to be so cheery tonight, I'm assuming you happened to have the luck of seeing a good movie? Unless of course we just have opposite tastes altogether, and you were in that romantic movie and got a kick out of it." She smirked softy, continuing to glance over at the man. There was something so...Odd about him, he just didnt' seem like a lot of guys she had met. Not necessarily a bad thing, but it did spark her curiosity. There was just something about him, he did really know how to look after his skin, she noticed.

Score. As usual his charms were working on the pretty lady. At least for the time being. He knew he had to make sure as not to go overboard because then he would just be going to far and that could probably just scare her away. Where would the fun in that be. He seemed to have startled her at first but then again he did kind of sneak up behind her so it wasn't that surprising. He just pretended to be completely interested by what she said. He was good at that. "So you've gone through those kinds of dates too huh? I'll have to agree. The romantic films aren't exactly my type. Although if my date was half as pretty you then it may actually be worth watching."
He gave a believable chuckle. "Makes perfect sense. You can never really be too careful after all." he commented on her only giving her first name. Then thought about what she said next about his full name. "Well, I have nothing to hide. If it makes a person feel more comfortable in my presence then I have nothing else to than introduce myself fully. I mean we only live once right? Might as live it to the fullest." he said causally. He just chuckled at her nex comment about the movie and sighed. "Sadly I'm afraid not. Believe it or not my date stood me up. Go figure." he said with a shrug. "But I figured there's no point in letting it get me down. For all I know I could have been thinking "why did I even bother"" He said reciting her words. "I mean the night won't be ending on to bad a note now that I've met you. I just had to make sure that there was no possible someone like you got stood up to."

She rolled her eyes at his question. "Totally, they are horrible! So glad I ditched those people, really not worth my time, at all." Kai seemed to think along the same lines as she did, it was strange, yet refreshing, to meet someone who had similar ideals to her. First impressions were always huge with Kyra, and Kai had managed to make a good first impression with her, and that wasn't a feat that was easily done. She hadn't of all things expected to meet a friendly and geniune guy at the movies. Anyone who she would even mention that to would just laugh in her face, and with good reason. Sadly, she was taken by the most amazing man, and just couldn't take advantage of this man's kindness and take it further.
She did giggle at the end of his comment, which turned into a compliment towards her. "Isn't that sweet? They say kindness and compliments can only go so far, but my ears are totally open for more compliments." She smiled proudly as she stood near this man. He did know how to make a lady feel good, she had quickly realized that trait that he had. Why couldn't more guys be like that? Her boyfriend was amazing, but at the same time, he really wasn't the one to throw a whole lot of compliments out there. It could be frustrating at times, but she still loved him and wouldn't want anybody else. It was just how much she enjoyed his company, and who he was. Though more compliments was the one thing she'd change about him, if she could. Its not asking for much, is it?
"Exactly! I'm glad to see someone else enjoys living to the fullest as much as me. Shopping, clothes, friends, what more could you ask for? Sometimes its just amazing to be privilidged." She wasn't bragging, much. But she couldn't help it, when she had all of these assets, she had to flaunt them, right? This man had a good taste for fashion too, it seemed, which she also admired about the asian man. If only she had met him into her teens, they could've had a lot of fun in high school causing trouble.
Her mouth opened in surprise as he explained that his date had stood him up. "What?! I don't believe that, why would they be that stupid? You are a great looking guy, and really know how to treat a lady. Well, it just shows you could do way better than her, trust me." She smiled softly towards him, giving him some encouragement. She was glad to see that it didn't appear to be getting too him too much, which was good. She mustn't have been too worthwhile, after all. She smiled again as he complimented her. Well, believe it or not, I just don't get told that enough. But unfortunately I'm already with someone, just went out with girl friends tonight. Hey! If you are looking, which you seem to be, maybe I could hook you up with one of them? Sure, they can be a bit ditsy at times, but they are hot ladies if I say so myself. And they like a guy who treats them to a good time, if you know what I mean." She smirked softly.

Kai continued his facade with a laugh. Things were going go so far. He liked that. He had taken a few glances at her every now and then. She was definitely attractive. There was no lie about that. "Well, my mother taught me that if you want a woman to like you. You should treat them with kindness and respect. Like a princess. She practically drilled it into me and it just stuck." he said with a shrug. Believe it or not this was actually true. It was one of the only things his mother ever truly taught him. Of course it had been over four hundred years but who was counting. It wasn't like Kyra here needed to know that. Just the fact that he was being a gentleman should have been enough for her.
Kai just nodded in agreement. "Yes it definitely is. I mean I know I shouldn't necessarily brag about it but I've always thought of it as being more appreciative." He had won her sympathy with his whole 'being stood up' line. Of course then he let out her problem. She was taken. And by the looks of it she wasn't the kind to exactly go off with another guy when her boyfriend was around. "He's a very lucky guy. And I hope he knows it." Kai was good at hiding emotions and so he went on as if her revelation had no effect on him. It wasn't like it really did though. After all there were more fish in the sea. That was when she offered up her friends. Inside it made him laugh. "Perhaps I may take up on that offer. Although I think I'm going to call it a night. Sadly, got to work in the morning. No rest for the wicked I guess. And by the looks of it your friends are on their way back." he said pointing out the ladies who were looking at them. "It was a pleasure meeting you Kyra. Maybe next time I'll get your full name. I hope you enjoy the rest of evening." he said with a smirk as he began to walk past her. He gave a slight smile the her friends as he walked past them and out of the theatre. Now for some fun.
