Anna hadn't been out of her apartment in a few days and she was starting to get cabin fever. She just wanted to be out doing something. She didn't really feel like going out and drinking again. Sure at first it was fun being able to drink a lot and not be drunk but after awhile, it just got annoying. So she got dressed and headed out of her apartment without knowing where she was going.
She turned down a side street and chuckled as a cat ran away from her. She never really got along with animals. Even as a human, she wasn't a big fan of animals. She stopped walking, leaning against the side of a building, one of her feet pressed against the wall. She crossed her arms, looking around. She would just wait here for someone interesting to talk to. Even if no one talked to her, what was one wasted night?
Before she moved here, she had heard that this was a great place to be right now. She thought it was okay, nothing special unfortunately. She planned on staying for awhile regardless of that. She still hadn't been to quite a few places here and she wanted to at least experience those things before she left. Plus, she really loved her apartment here. It fit her nicely.
Anna heard a noise and stood up, dropping her arms to her sides. She looked around but didn't see anything. She slowly made her way to where she heard the noise but still didn't see anything. Her brow furrowed as she tried to figure out what the noise was.

Trenton walked out of his apartment and walked down the street. Presently, he noticed a woman with long, dark hair. Hmmm...I don't recognize her. She must be new around here, he thought to himself. He continued to follow her and then smirked when a cat ran away from her. Okay, so not human, he thought recalling that animals were excellent in sensing non-humans. He saw her lean against a building. Let's see if I can rattle her, he thought to himself. Then, he ran his nails across the side of a building. Then, she stood up and put her arms at her side. He scraped his nails across the buidling again and he saw her approaching. So, she doesn't scare easily, huh? he thought. This would be fun. He stepped forward. "Hello," he greeted.

Seeing a figure step forward, she clenched her jaw as she studied him. "Hello.." She paused, "I'm Annalise." She still wasn't sure who this was and what he wanted. "Who are you?" she narrowed her eyes, not letting them fall from contact with his eyes. She knew how to not show any weakness and that's what she was going to do until she knew what the person standing in front of her wanted.

"Hello," she greeted, clenching her jaw. Trenton put his hands up in a placating manner. "Easy Miss, despite what this looks like, I don't mean you any harm," he assured. "I'm Annalise. Who are you?" "I'm Trenton. You're welcome to call me Trent," he told her. "I'm sorry for scaring you. I have a bad sense of humor and my antics were in poor taste," he apologized. "So, tell me...what's a beautiful young lady like yourself doing all alone?" he questioned with an easy grin.

Hearing his statement, Anna loosed up her hands, and let her eyes return to normal. "I agree. You shouldn't go around scaring young ladies." She pursed her lips, raising one eyebrow at him. "Wouldn't you like to know." She crossed her arms over her chest, chewing on her lip. "And what are you doing out here, scaring innocent young girls?" She leaned her back against the wall, waiting for his answer.
Anna crossed her arms over her chest, studying him. He carried himself much more gracefully than his age. They way he spoke was also too refined for his age. The thought crossed her mind that he was a vampire, but she didn't want to come to conclusions.

"And what are you doing out here, scaring innocent young girls?" she asked, leaning against the wall. "Well, it was such a nice night that I simply couldn't resist," he responded. "Besides, I like the quiet. It helps me to think," he continued and looked at her with a mixture of wariness and curiousity. She didn't seem to be afraid of him, but rather...suspicious. "Now then, were you looking to have a good time, or just out for a stroll?" he asked, stepping closer.

"Hmm, so this is how you spend your spare time?" she rolled her eyes lightly, "Of course the quiet helps you think. Pretty sure it helps everyone think." She paused as he stepped closer to her and ran a hand through her hair, something she did quite often as a nervous habit. She stood up straighter, "I'm always looking for a good time." She stepped away from the wall and towards him though still not close enough to even reach out and touch him. She still wanted to keep her distance. "And you? Oh right. You just like to think." Her lips formed into a small smirk.

He smiled when she ran her fingers through her hair and stood up straighter. "I'm always looking for a good time," she told him. "Then perhaps we could have some fun together," he suggested and his eyes glinted with some mischief as she stepped closer. "And you? Oh right. You just like to think," she stated with a small smirk. "Until I meet beautiful girls that is. Then, all thoughts suddenly become---shall we say difficult---to find?" he queried. "What do you say we go find a place to talk some more? You know, somewhere that's not reminscent of a horror movie?" he suggested.

Anna smirked lightly, "Perhaps we could." she rolled her eyes at his statement. "Smooth. I mean, I've never heard that one before." She tightened her lips, almost holding back laughter. Honestly, it put her in a good mood to shot people down. Things were just funner that way. "But I fit in so well here, don't you think?" she smirked at him before walking back towards the bigger street. "Where are we going?" She turned her head back to make sure he was following her. She was having fun with him even though it was just them going back and forth.

"But I fit in so well here. Don't you think?" she smirked, heading for the bigger streets. He followed her, stride for stride. "Where are we going?" she asked. Trenton pursed his lips thoughtfully. Where should they go? "Well, we could have dinner and drinks, and then we could go dancing somewhere," he suggested. "You know, if you were interested in seeing me look like a fool," he responded with a shake of his head. It was the craziest thing. Here he was a vampire and graceful at everything else, but when it came to dancing, he was hopeless...something he usually hated revealing. But for some reason, with this particular vampire, he didn't care about that. Why is that? What aren't I caring whether or not she sees me looking foolish? he wondered. Then, he gave himself a mental shrug. He could sort that out later. Right now though, he just wanted to have some fun.
