Guinevere walked around the streets of a place she had been told she had called home. She didn't know where she was, didn't recognize anything. But that was nothing new, was it? Since she woke up, she hasn't recognized anything at all... Not even her name. If it hadn't been for Lily, she would still be a Jane Doe, just one wondering around the streets of LA, lost and confused and starting to get frightened.
Gwen wrapped her arms around her waist. It was dark outside now, and she had been walking for nearly two hours, trying to remember anything. She had been lost in her thoughts. Did she remember that little shop? Or did she just remember seeing it after she woke up over a year ago? Did she recognize the park, or is it just because she visited it a couple months ago?
Pain bloomed in her chest, the emotional type of pain that was so strong it was almost physical. A tear slid down her cheek, unnoticed. Lily, the doctors, and the therapist she went to all told her that her memories would come back. But she hadn't remembered anything, nothing at all since she woke up. She didn't even recognize her own name... What kind of life was that?
"It's no life... It's some half life I'm trapped in, no where to go and no one to claim me..." She spoke softly, so softly it was barely audible to herself. Another tear slid down her cheek, and she wiped this one away furiously. Why did she have to be so patient? Why couldn't she just remember something?! She jolted when she heard footsteps, and wiped the tears from her face hurriedly. The last thing she needed just then was for some stranger to see her crying on a corner of some unknown part of LA.

Truth was, Shannelle was kind of in a hurry, to get to work, after she had left school later than planned, because she couldn't find her bag in the mess she had become accustomed by calling her room. Well, hers and Kyra's, but still. She however stopped walking, as she saw a girl walking in front of her, looking almost.. scared, as if she didn't know what she was doing here. Weird. She sighed and quickened her steps, deciding to check it out and look for any signs of something being amiss with the girl.
Yes, her worry overcame her hurry, that tended to happen with her. “Hi.” She greeted, as soon as she was walking next to the girl. She however was also silently praying that she wasn't intruding her in her thoughts of any way else. “Are you okay?” Stupid question! Of course she wasn't okay! She sighed softly and looked at her, with a questioning look in her eyes.

Gwen forced herself not to jump when the footsteps she had heard behind her spoke. She turned around, maybe a little to fast with shock. "O- Oh!" She blinked big eyes to hide the tears before they could show. "Y- Yeah I'm just... Kind of lost I guess." She smiled weakly at the girl in front of her. She didn't really want to explain how she wasn't just lost, but had amnesia and would have been lost in her own house, if she even knew where that was. Not even Lily could find a residence for Gwen before she had landed in the hospital.
"I... Um... Could you maybe tell me where I am?" She winced a little. That sounded lame, but she really was lost and her phone had died, so she couldn't call Lily to ask her to come find her. "I'm sorry... You must be in a hurry to get somewhere and here I am holding you up..." She shifted her feet, biting her bottom lip as she stopped being sad, and went to being annoyed with herself. She should have stayed to the main streets so she wouldn't have gotten lost.

Shannelle couldn't help but get an even more worried look on her face at how the girl reacted as if she had really startled her, which had certainly not been her intention. “It's okay, it honestly is,” she said, as she looked around her, “you're nearing the shopping complex actually. So, you're not too far from the main streets.”
“I'm not really in a hurry.. Well, I'm actually heading to work, but that's okay, my boss isn't the baddest person in the world.” She said. As she offered her a smile. “Is there anything I can do to help you with?” She asked her then, knowing it must sound kind of sudden, but hey, she wanted to help. It meant she was actually doing something good for a change and that couldn't possibly backfire at her, could it?

Guinevere relaxed some when the girl told her she wasn't too far from the shopping complex. Maybe she could borrow someone's phone when she got there so she could ask Lily to come pick her up... "That's good to hear," She said with a relaxed sigh. "I was worried... My phone died and I couldn't call anyone." She sighed as she felt her pocket where her phone was, currently just a hunk of worthless plastic.
Gwen looked up at the girl again, and smiled faintly. "Could I maybe walk with you for a bit?" She asked hesitantly. "At least... Until I remember where I am..." She sighed. "I have this problem a lot..." She shrugged her shoulders, self-conscious. "I don't want to make you late to work..."

Shannelle nodded and smiled slightly as she silently studied the girl next to her, as she listened to what she said to her and how she obviously seemed relieved. “That's okay, you want to borrow mine?” She then offered her, as she tucked her hand in her pocket to get it out. Once it was out, she held it out to her. "As long as I get it back of course." She joked.
”Sure, you can walk with me.” Shannelle said with a smile as she relaxed a bit, too. It made sense, now that she knew the girl had amnesia. It made sense, because now she got why she walked around so absolutely and completely lost. ”I often work in the shopping district, at a music store. It's on the first floor. So, when you get lost again and you recognize this place, just come see me and I'll see if I can help you, okay? I can give you my number too, if you want to? I'm Shannelle, by the way.” She said, as she offered the girl her hand to shake. ”Don't worry. I won't get in trouble.” She then assured her about work.

Gwen smiled when the girl offered her own phone. Having memorized Lily's number was a point of pride with her. "Thank you," She said as she took the phone. She was good at working electronics, and it took only a moment to figure out Shannelle's. Before she dialed the number, she looked up and smiled. "Hi Shannelle," She greeted. "I'm Guinevere. Call me Gwen though, I hate Lady Guinevere from the King Arthur stories."
She looked down at the phone and punched in Lily's number. She dialed, and spoke to her quickly. Lily knew where the music store in the shopping strip was, and told her she'd be there as soon as she could. Gwen thanked her profusely, before Lily hung up on her. Gwen laughed before she handed the phone back to Shannelle. "She hung up," She announced with amusement. She was in a lot better mood now.
She turned to look at Shannelle, now that her mood wasn't plummeting through the ground. "I'd be grateful for your number though. Oh here," She rattled off a number for Shannelle. "That's mine. If I get lost again, and can't get a hold of Lily, could I call you?" She smiled sheepishly. "You're the only person nice enough to have stopped to ask me if I was alright."

”You can call me Shan too, if you want, most people do.” She said with a smile. She then waited for Gwen to finish the number and scribbled her own number down on a note in the meantime. You never knew when it would come in handy for Grace to call her.
”Yeah, you can call me whenever you get lost again. She said, before she looked down at her number and quickly put it in her phone, before putting it away. ”I always lose notes and I don't want to lose yours.” She explained, with a sheepish smile. No, she didn't want that at all. Not if she could help her, which she actually could. ”Here you have mine.” She then said with a smile, as she gave her, her own number.

Gwen smiled. "Well, it's really nice to meet you Shan." She laughed, and watched as familiar surroundings started to materialize around her. "I think I know where I am," She said, though more to herself than her newly found friend and rescuer. "It's awful not knowing where you are, you know?" Although not as awful as not knowing who you are, Gwen thought with a melancholy feeling building in her chest.
Gwen had noticed Shan putting the number into her phone and grinned. "I know what you mean," She said. "Thanks for this." She put Shan's number in her wallet so she wouldn't lose it, and smiled. She stuck her wallet back into her back pocket, and glanced around at a storefront she recognized because Lily had brought her here once. "I feel better knowing where I am now."
