Daniel has powers that are stepped based on levels. He won’t have the last 2 till later on in his development.

- Glistening
- Enhanced Strength – He’s strong and can lift things
- Aura Sight- He can see people’s auras and sense some basic things about them.
- Level 2: Force Field Generation - He can generate a protective shield around himself and later on other people as well.
- Level 3 Aura Manipulation- The ability to control another person’s aura which in turn controls the person as well. He might be able to heal or corrupt a soul if he practiced enough but this remains to be seen.
- Singing and Music – He’s got a gift and he loves to use it. He’s been practicing for years even if his dad sees it as amateurish and not something that will get him somewhere in the long haul. He performs at venues all over the city when he can.
- Charm – He’s got that boy next door look and he isn’t afraid to use it to help others or himself.
- Business acumen – He’s got a degree in Business Management under his belt though he doesn’t like to admit it and he’s damn good at knowing how it all works.
- Wealth – His family has money and power and when he’s not Interning at his dad’s business he is trying to save up to open a music store or go on the road whichever happens first.
- Kindness – He’s got the patience of a saint and an innate kindness like his sister. He is just a peaceful fun loving nature loving guy.
WEAKNESSES

- Iron- He’s allergic to iron. It’s an ancient weakness in the story books and he got it. Don’t expect him to handle a cast iron skillet, a wrought iron fence or anything else with it. It causes welts to form on his skin. Continual contact will make him have third degree burns.
- His sister- He loves her and will protect her when possible if she is in danger but this means she can be used against him.
- Impulsive – He doesn’t always think he just does. It’s instinctive with him and it could get him killed.
- Family Loyalty – He loves his family and likes to think they are helping people at his dad’s corporation. When he finds out they aren’t he is going to have a hard time knowing what to do. This could make for problems at an inopportune moment.
- Nuts –He’s deathly allergic to them. They will kill him.
- Drugs – He hit a rebellious stage and got hooked on them and it took him a long time to clean up. They are still a weakness however since its an addiction that he has to keep on top of.

- Music and singing. Especially the protest songs of the sixties. They speak to him. Though rock is pretty epic too.
- Nature – He loves to be out in the sun and in the woods or in the ocean. Doesn’t matter where he’s an outdoorsy type.
- Dogs – He has one his name is Elvis and he loves him to pieces. He spoils him rotten.
- Being chill – Hanging and rocking out. Best time ever. If you can chill he’ll be your best bro.
- Tattoos- Guys with Tattoos are a turn on for him. He’d never get one himself but he admires them.
DISLIKES

- Spinach – Its gross don’t try to get him to eat it you will end up wearing it.
- Drugs – He got hooked once and now hates them with a firey passion.
- Being lied to. Don’t lie to him you won’t like his reaction and he can hold a grudge like no other.
- Arrogance – He’s dealt with it all his life and he hates it. He’d much rather be chill than ill.
- June bugs – He hates them. They freak him out. He will run from them.

Growing up with his sister Charlie was pretty easy for Daniel. He got good grades and was popular with everyone but he had a dark secret. When he was younger he saw his best friend Kyle murdered in cold blood. This image haunted him for years and he did his best to repress it but eventually he resorted to drugs and alcohol to dull the nightmare when he hit high school. This coupled with his father’s high expectations caused him to self-destruct and one night during a purple moon he passed out from a drug and alcohol cocktail.[/BLOCKQUOTE]
This gave his dad the perfect chance to change him into a fairy. Daniel woke up and saw a shaman cast a spell on him and felt a change overtake him but he thought it was due to the acid he dropped. He never guessed that his father had a deeper plan for his children. Daniel woke up in the hospital with his mother and sister sitting at his bedside and in a broken voice admitted he’d seen his friend Kyle murdered by a fellow schoolmate all those years ago, but had been too scared to go to the police for fear it would put his family in danger.
Eventually, after many months of therapy, Daniel emerged clean and sober and with a renewed purpose. He fell in love with a handsome young singer named Seamus and the two hit it off really well. Unknown to Daniel however; Seamus was a fairy and triggered his powers. Daniel felt betrayed by his father and learned how to use his powers in secret with Seamus’s help. As he worked he remembered the spell his father had cast and vowed to find others like himself someday. In another attempt at Rebellion Daniel took off for San Fran to be with Seamus and live as normal a life as two fairies can.
He began singing in local bars and trying to make a name for himself. Life was going good until one day he got a call. Seamus was hurt and begging for help. Daniel glistened to his lover’s aid but arrived too late as he watched a blond woman rip Seamus’s power from him. Running to his lover’s side he would have been the blond woman’s next target buts she fled suddenly after a call on her cell phone. Cradling Seamus in his arms, he did his best to make him comfortable. Seamus made him promise to move on and remember him every time he sang before he died whispering the name of his killer. Morgan Brand.
Emotionally distraught, Daniel hit the booze and the pills again but this time he managed to clean himself up before he ended up on a slab. It took every ounce of willpower but he realized he needed to make better choices with his life in order to honor Seamus’ memory. Now, with his guitar and an internship at his dad’s corporation, he has a relatively nice place and freedom. At night however, the nightmares come back and he hopes to defeat his demons both the ones inside and out.
CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
Daniel will help Eli recover from Thomas and his issues with Axel as well as help his sister out when she needs a hand. With his abilities and general laid back nature he’s likely to help the SF crew out once he trusts them.[/BLOCKQUOTE]
