STRENGTHS

- Martial Arts- Lily needs to be good at fighting, being a Private Investigator. Really, she doesn’t need to use her martial arts skills often, although every once in a while she does need to use what she knows. She is a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, though she tends to let her skills get a little rusty.
- Accuracy- Lily has a license to carry a gun, so she goes to the range often to keep up with her accuracy at shooting. She’s a good shot, and loves to practice. She uses it as a sort of therapy when she gets angry.
- Honesty- Lily has always tried to be honest, which is good for her job. She has a strong sense of morals, and feels lying doesn’t get people anywhere, unless it’s about her feelings.
- Observant- Being a P.I., Lily needs to be a very observant person. Before she became a P.I., she often noticed things most people never did. She can pick up on clues most people would have otherwise missed, and she often notices when people are lying to her, making her somewhat distrustful of people.
- Intelligent- Lily leads people to believe that she’s not as smart as she seems, usually twirling her hair over one finger and giggling like a bubble-headed fool. However, she has a very keen mind, and knows that a lot of people will let slip things to a fool more than they would to her when she acted her usual self.
- Athletic- Often, she needs to run to catch someone in the act. Lily needs to be athletically fit to do her job well, and enjoys running up and down the streets of her neighborhood with her Zune blasting music to run to.
- Studying- Lily never jumps into a job unprepared. She studies up on a client beforehand, using whatever means necessary to get her job done and done right. She won’t take a job from someone if she thinks they might have some backdoor dealings with any illegal outfits.
- Patience- Lily grew up knowing the meaning of patience. She was told she would never get anywhere in life if she jumped in head first without thinking of the consequences.
WEAKNESSES

- Emotionally Stunted- Because of her upbringing Lily tends to hide from her own emotions as much as she can trying to protect herself from the pain of loss and not feel that powerless again.
- One-Track mind-Hyper focusing has its benefits but for Lily its a source danger for her if people don't want her watching what they are doing. If she gets the bit in her teeth this could be worse potentially as she doesn't know when to stop.
- Observant- Being too observant can get you into situations you can't handle and this happens a lot in L.A. Xzavier may end up protecting her from more than your average thugs and dead beat dads.
- Impulsive- Most of the time, Lily doesn’t do things impulsively. However, when she does it usually turns out badly for her. Once, she tried to be impulsive on a case she was working on, and ended up with a broken arm.
- Xzavier- He’s a huge weakness for her, though she hates herself for it. She buries her feelings for him deep, and refuses to let them see the light of day, though it’s harder when she’s around him. She tends to get harsh and irritable when around him.
- Children- Lily loves kids, so when she takes a job where abuse of a child is involved, she often loses her self-control. Many people hire her for custody cases, and she usually takes them to give the courts a good idea of who should take care of the child, or often, if the child would be better in the system.

- Strawberries-Does life get any better than strawberries? Only if they involve chocolate and Xzavier. Though she tries to block out those memories because they are painful.
- Forests- Before she moved to LA, Lily lived very close to a forest. She loved to go out there to walk around and just enjoy nature.
- Photography- Lily's passion is photography and she will take pictures of anything that tickles her fancy. Animals, people and places being just some of the places this shutter bug may snap some shots.
- Reading- Who doesn't love books? Well apart from those trashy romance ones which remind her what she doesn't have and their inaccuracies which annoy her.
- Writing-Its a guilty pleasure that she doesn't admit to even if she is writing a book about what being a P.I. is really like.
- Art- Having a good eye helps her to sketch suspecious people then run their likenesses through her databases for information.
DISLIKES

- Crime Shows-Usually they are wrong. She's never had the money the P.I.'s on Television had and she resents the idea that its all about glamor. Its hard work and sometimes you put more effort into it than you end up getting paid.
- Television- It collects dust and gives her her news and music programs but that is all its good for. Its called the boob tube for a reason.
- Cruelty-There is no exception to this. Sadists need not apply. There is just no call to maim or harm another that badly. Self defense is one thing. Bullying or picking on others is right out.
- Rudeness-She would not be rude herself and hates it from others. There is never an excuse for rudeness. It will annoy her very quickly.
- Cooking-Just because she is good at it doesn't mean she likes it. She's done it too much in her life and is just as likely to pop in a frozen meal as make one from scratch.

HISTORY
Lily Collins never had an easy life but she never let that deture her from her goals. Born to Vanessa Collins after a one night stand; Her mother did her best to love and provide for her daughter but she was killed during a robbery at a gas station and the killers were never caught. At the age of 12 Lily found herself being raised by her uncle. He did not know how to raise a young girl but he did the best he could given his health issues.[/BLOCKQUOTE]
Normally this wouldn’t be a problem except that her uncle was ill and therefore needed to be cared for himself. This made Lily have to grow up very fast from a very young age. This made her very resourceful and independent and when she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a degree in Criminal Justice to become a private investigator she pursued it with the same solid determination she had approached everything else. Then she met Xzavier Evans. She was shy but the handsome man found his way to her heart and the two began a passionate relationship that ended just before she graduated college. Confused and heartbroken she returned to Tennessee where she was raised and took care of her uncle until he passed.
He confided in her that she had been the daughter that he never thought he’d have but had always wanted. She had the chance to say goodbye to him and resolve the few issues she had.
Having no family back to Tennessee Lily decided it was time to move on and traveled to Los Angeles to open her own detective agency with the money she inherited from her mother and her uncle. It took her time to build up a clientele but eventually there were enough people to keep her business afloat.
It was after this that she ran into Xzavier again. The sexual tension flared between them and the issues of the past seemed to rear their head at unexpected times. Lily hid her feelings from Xzavier and tried to play off her unrequited feelings by being more no nonsense than before. Eventually though they began to slowly repair things between themselves .When the love spell went off in the city the tension rose to new heights and Lily found herself more confused than before when Xzavier told her to keep safe and prepare to leave town if he asked her to for her own safety.
Now she is more confused than ever and uncertain if Xzavier is trying to push her away again or trying to bridge the gap between them and resolve what has transpired in their past. What she does know is she wants him back if he’ll have her and this time she won’t just accept being placed on the back burner again.
CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
I would like to see Lily grow in confidence and find out about the supernatural world regardless of what the brothers may shield her from. Obviously her relationship with Xzavier is going to have its stops and starts but it will be a very interesting ride along the way as she learns to trust him again and not be so independent.[/BLOCKQUOTE]

She stretched and felt her back pop for what seemed like the fiftieth time. While many people would be sitting and drinking coffee at a stake out of a house, Lily was flexing with weights as she waited to see how long the dead beat husband was going to stay with his mistress. She saw a flicker of movement and set down the dumbell and snatched up her camera taking shots of the passionate kiss the man shared with his mistress before he slipped off to his car. She had him dead to rights and she wasted no time in going to her client. This was going to help her client get the much needed divorce so she could live a better life. She sighed and stretched as she rubbed her eyes then dialed Xzavier to find out if he wanted to go to breakfast.
