STRENGTHS
[/BLOCKQUOTE]
- Honesty. Axel isn't afraid of speaking his mind, and will most likely find every opportunity to do so. Regardless of whether it relates to positive or negative comments, he will speak them. He is more inclined to do so when involved with his brothers, however, hinting that when he is closer with someone he isn't as stand-offish.
- Athletically Fit. Axel has taken part in sports and other extra-curricular physical activities for the majority of his life, therefore he has managed to keep his body in peak condition. He doesn't lose breath as easily as those who aren't as athletic as he is. Being this way grants him improved speed, strength and durability, however not exceeding that of any reasonable human.
- Improved Senses & Reflexes. Being chosen to bear these powers grants Axel superhuman reflexes and senses, resulting in him being able to sense danger and movement from around him. This allows him to be one step ahead of his opponents, most of the time, as he can sense movement as it is about to strike.
- Superhuman Speed. He isn't superman, by any means, however he has enhanced speed than the normal human, whereby he can move quicker and strike quicker, giving him the edge in dodging strikes and attacks.
- Supernatural Healing. He also possesses faster regeneration and healing than other humans, where he would recover about twice as fast as another human would. Although this power hasn't developed yet, in time he would be able to heal others by transferring his own energy to them.
- Fearless. Axel generally doesn't have any fears. This doesn't entirely mean he is a real 'tough guy', it just means he appears to have a rather adventurous personality where he doesn't fear many consequences or risks. He only lives once, so why fear any consequences?
- Intellect. Although he doesn't seem like the type, Axel is extremely intelligent and doesn't have as much difficulty as others in picking new skills or knowledge up quickly. He has been told he is way ahead of his peers, hence transferring to the Los Angeles campus university.
- Sketching. Give Axel something to draw, and he would be able to mimic it almost flawlessly to every fine detail. His attention to detail is amazing, and is a very useful skill of his.
- Outgoing. Axel is the life of the party, and really isn't afraid of speaking with people he doesn't know too well, or meeting new people. He will be loud without fear of how people around him will react.
- Precision. Axel is very adept at concentration and being absolutely accurate, which is one of the main reasons he is so good at sketching. He is very good at archery because of this, also.
- Charmer. Being so outgoing, Axel has a way for words and seems to know the right things to say to the right people. He knows how to suck up to peope or make them enjoy his company very well. The girls love the small talk, after all.
WEAKNESSES
[/BLOCKQUOTE]
- Overconfidence. Because Axel seems to think he has everything going for him and the fact that he is rather fearless, he lets it go to his head a lot of the time. He is mostly reasonable, but the cocky side of him does show, mainly as a sign of strength so that he doesn't show any weaknesses. However by acting so confident, he can pass judgement on many things and underestimate many situations he becomes involved in.
- Reckless. Axel is an adventurous and 'daredevil' personality, which is bound to get him into a lot of trouble at one point or another. He commonly jumps into something without thinking or planning it out just because he can. He is prone to make mistakes because he thinks with his heart or 'lower region' rather than with his head.
- His Supernatural Abilities. Because of being in possession of these powers, Axel almost feels like he is invincible and that he can't be touched. This is far from the case, and he doesn't appear to realize that although his stamina is improved, his strength, speed and durability all remain the same as everyone else.
- Committment-Phobe. In essence, Axel cannot handle committing to something or someone, it is probably one of the only things he does fear and try to avoid. He could be in a happy relationship with someone, but back out at the last minute because he feels things are going too fast too soon. He therefore finds it rather difficult to committ to his chosen destiny as he wants to live and enjoy life, not be burdened by a task he doesn't want to perform.
- Ignorance. As Axel speaks his mind to the fullest, he usually never finds himself realizing that the comments he states may hurt someone else, because in his mind he doesn't see his comments as hateful or insulting.
- Lack of Depth. Although he appears to have an outgoing and bubbly personality on the outside, he doesn't really have much rationale and depth on the inside, such as taking into perspective someone else's views or concerns, and thinking about the risks and consequences associated with a particular action.
- Life Inexperience. He is still young, therefore cannot possibly understand everything there is to know about life and other people. He makes judgements and assumptions based on how he feels at the time, acting in the comment.
- Relationship With His Brothers. In many ways he enjoys stirring his brothers because it keeps him on his toes, and to him it is a bonding experience. There isn't much fun in being happy family constantly, now is there? Despite this, his relationship is rather strained as he has completely different ideals to them, therefore doesn't work around what they want, instead rebelling completely against it.
- Romance. He really isn't good at it, and really doesn't see the whole big 'turnon' about a guy who is romantic and goes all out for somewone. He just does what he feels sounds good at the time, and hopes that they enjoy it. He doesn't try to be one of those guys who acts all romantic to get in their pants, when it doesn't last for the entire relationship. Its just a blanket to get close to them, which soon fades away not long after they committ. He would rather be himself and be liked for that, than trying too hard.
- Girls. They make him think below the belt rather than practically, which can get him into some trouble. He also doesn't know how to talk with girls as a friend, only knowing really how to flirt with them and act like a cool guy. He lacks the ability to engage in deep conversation with them, because he really doesn't know what to say to them. Its not like he can talk about guy things with them like he does to his guy friends.
LIKES
[/BLOCKQUOTE]
- Girls. He is a hormonal young man, of course he will dig the chicks! He has had many experiences with women over the years where he could be referred to as a 'player,' but he still goes back for more because he enjoys their company. Just not too much.
- Sketching. He tends to enjoy the things he is good at and stick with them. Sketching gives him piece of mind, and allows his creative juices to flow. It is such a calm and peaceful activity to undergo.
- Partying. He is young, therefore he is bound to want to rebel and 'get a life' so to speak, by hanging out with friends, chilling to the head-banging music and having a blast. He usually spends most of his time out of the house out partying.
- Friends. Axel is the type that hates being alone, unless he is sketching. He likes knowing that he has people around him and that he isn't alone. Being alone does scare him.
- His Brothers. Though he doesn't admit it too much, he enjoys having his brothers because they are there for him when he needs support and are able to get him out of a lot of his problems. They are like parents but more easy-going, at least most of the time.
- Spending Money. He enjoys spending money, whether it be on clothes, videogames or just plain buying food for the sake of it. He isn't well off by any means, but has enough to enjoy the luxuries of spending it.
- Appearence. He prides himself on looking nice all of the time, to ensure he is able to make the best impression when needed. He hates looking rugged, always wanting to look in top form.
- Playing Sports. He does enjoy playing sports in his spare time. Although the days of being on a school team are over, doesn't mean that he can't still enjoy some of the favourite sports in college as well.
- Working Out. He enjoys keeping his body in peak condition and enjoys the feeling of sweating from strenous exercise. He isn't described as a lazy type of person, always trying to be on the go and doing something. He goes crazy sitting around doing nothing.
- Watching Movies. He enjoys either going out to watch a movie on the cinema screen, or even sitting in and watching movies with friends. His favourites are action and horror.
- Music. He particularily enjoys the head banging and techno styles of music. Anything with a decent beat is acceptable to him, and keeps him in a calm mind. He is constantly listening to his ipod at most times, making it rather difficult to engage in a conversation with him.
DISLIKES
[/BLOCKQUOTE]
- Being Alone. He doesn't like feeling insecure or isolated from everyone else. Most of the time he is the one engaging in and controlling the conversation, moreso for his need to be involved with others and not sit on the sidelines, unwanted.
- Authority. He really dislikes being told what to do. He is young and independent, and enjoys keeping it that way. He dislikes being controlled, as he wants to make his own decisions in life, he is of age after all.
- Rejection. Whether it be by girls, or a job interview, he dislikes the thought of being rejected. It makes him feel insignificant, and he tends to over-analyse all of his faults at that moment on why he was rejected in the first place. It really gets to him.
- Being Manipulated. He doesn't enjoy being used for another's motives, and feels like a third wheel and rather stupid when this happens. He likes loyal people who he can trust to confide in.
- Stupid People. They really do bother him most of the time. He feels like he cannot engage in a decent and intelligent conversation with these people because of their lack of understanding. He enjoys being kept on his toes.
- Dishonest People. Although he doesn't like people outrightedly telling him how it is, he respects that and if anything says anything truthful yet hurtful to him, he may take offence to it, but will soon get over it.
- Expectations. He hates people expecting certain things of him, or wanting him to be a certain way. He is how he is, regardless of what people expect out of him. He doesn't live to please others.
HISTORY
Axel Evans was born in a cold November of 1992, to Chelsea and Mark Evans. Chelsea and Mark were twenty four when they had Axel, six years after Xzavier. Both parents were vampire and demon hunters, with a lineage of this in their families for centuries. His mother's family however, had a special destiny, where into every generation three brothers would be born, resulting in their destiny to fight against these evil forces with gifts which allowed them to do so greater than everyone else. This destiny was also seen as a curse, as these boys would become targets for anything evil, a life neither of the parents wanted for their three children. They knew of the last three brothers, who became so corrupt that they destroyed themselves and everything around them, not wanting that to happen to their sons. They therefore decided that the only possible way to avoid this, was to adopt their youngest newborn, Axel, out to Chelsea's sister, who wasn't able to have any kids of her own. The parties agreed that any contact between the brothers could spark a trigger which activated their powers, and couldn't risk that happening to them. Her sister therefore moved with her husband to Miami, where Axel would be raised away from his family to protect him.[/BLOCKQUOTE]
Axel was raised in the thought that he was an only child, and that his parents had been killed in a car accident, and that his aunt and uncle had taken him in. He had never known his parents, therefore couldn't really miss them, only miss what could've been. He had been shown photos of his mother and father, and only had that as a memory of who they were, as he was only just born when they were 'killed'. He grew up being close to his aunt and uncle, who treated him extremely well, as if he was their own. As they couldn't have kids of their own, raising Axel was a blessing in disguise for them, though they did hate the idea of splitting up the brothers, though understood the consequences of them being bound to eachother.
In school, Axel was one of those intelligent kids, however he just hung around the wrong group of people. He was slightly a rebellious boy when he stepped into his teens, sneaking out late and seeing girls, and drinking alcohol his mate had stolen from his father's bottleshop. He was eventually caught out by his uncle and aunty, and punished as a result, which at the time angered him, however was what he needed to motivate him to do well in life. He was engaging in kick boxing and martial arts lessons from a young age as an anger relief for losing his family. He was rather good at the sport and constantly praised by the instructor to his aunt and uncle, which did concern them as they realized he was picking up the abilities quicker than other young boys due to having the 'potential' inside him. They felt like they couldn't fight destiny, and one way or another the brothers would reunite. However his mother had strongly insisted upon this never happening when they spoke over the phone, as it would endanger them completely. She didn't want this life for them, no matter what.
He begun achieving higher grades in school and was hanging out with the popular kids after becoming a part of the football team, something which really changed his attitude and made him more 'out there' than he had previously been. He begun drawing also, which was something he decided he wanted to get into down the track. When he turned eighteen, he begun to realize that he was faster and more agile than the other boys on the college team, and was bewildered how this sudden change could've occured. One night after practice he and his friend went out to a party, which led to his friend's face shifting to a demonic form, and attacking him, trying to bite his neck. Instinctively, Axel had managed to shove a stake through his former friend's heart, turning him to dust moments later. Axel had no idea how this had happened, and was horrified at what he had experienced, deciding it best to keep it to himself.
Upon cleaning up the house one afternoon, he stumbled across letters from his mum directed to his aunt dating back six years, which expressed why it was so important than Axel remain with them and that he would be protected from everything with them. He begun to believe that his parents were still alive, but questioned the reason why his aunt and uncle would hide something like that from him. He decided to confront them about the letter, and they had no choice but to tell him the truth; that his mother and father hadn't died in a car accident when he was born, and that they had adopted him out to them. This was too much to handle, and he ran away, getting drunk with some of his friends in anger and shock. He returned home that night, finding them dead before they could tell him everything, where he witnessed strange bite marks present on their necks. He was horrified, but held to the thought that his parents may still be alive out there, deciding to go and search for them. However he had to remain around for a few months after graduating to deal with the funeral and the realization that they had left a significant amount of money in a trust for him to go to university.
Using the information he had gathered from old records of theirs from their home, he had found that his parents had lived in Los Angeles, deciding that he would enroll in college there, while searching for the only family he probably had left, if they were even still alive. He was angry and vowed that he would get revenge for his aunt and uncle for whatever killed them, but wasn't even sure where to start. He was hoping he would find answers in Los Angeles.
CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
Axel holds onto the thought that his parents are still alive and well, therefore feels the urge to find and meet them. He isn't aware that he has two brothers and that he has this huge prophecy resting on his shoulders, only that his parents weren't killed in a car accident, as told by his aunt and uncle. He isn't even aware of the supernatural, only witnessing the two weird circumstances which happened in his life which he brushed off as nothing and chose to ignore.[/BLOCKQUOTE]
He will be disappointed when he realizes his parents are dead, as he built up the moment so much after finding out they could be alive. He probably will find it difficult adjusting to the revelation that he now has two brothers, and who he was really born to be.

4 Years Experience | N/A |
Looking around as he entered the cafeteria, he removed his sunglasses from his head and propped them into his bag, examining the entire cafeteria curiously. They weren't there. They, were referring to his usual circle of close friends. He did have many others, of course, however these three were the ones he enjoyed the company of the most. But seeing that not even one of them was around was slightly disheartening. What did that mean for him now? He either went to another table and played 'best buddies' with some of his friends, or waited at their usual table and held fort. Anyone who had been in Miami High for a considerable amount of time would have realized that 'tables' were of great importance. There were many tables inside the cafeteria, each catering to the different social groups and people existing within the school. The nerds with their books spread neatly all over the table, the geeks fiddling around with their handhelds and laptops, the band doing their thing, the pretty girls with their makeup and accessories, the loners taking up an entire table, the jocks, and then his table. Situated at this table where the four of them, who were seen as the coolest of the cool. Two football captains, two cheerleaders, with one of them being the head cheerleader. That, in many ways, meant that they basically ruled the school.
Deciding against jerking around with the fellow footballers without an escape for the remainder of lunch, Axel made his way over to the bench which was home to all of the great (sarchasm) Miami foods. There was green sludge...Dried apples, something resembling potato, and then, pizza. It always made him snicker at how people could honestly in their right minds pick the sludge over pizza. Of course the pizza was a lot more expensive, it was worth it. If there was no pizza, which his group always ensured they got first picks, he would get a bite after school at somewhere more than decent. But the pizza was...Okay. Nothing spectacular by any means, but good. Thats all he needed right now.
Since he was likely to arouse suspiciousion and be caught out by the footballers he decided to go outside. After all, it was a decent day and maybe he'd see someone worthwhile. That thought became reality, as he noticed a girl doing something against the wall. She was extremely pretty, with the whole 'girl next door' vibe coming off of her. It was then that he recognized who she was. They hadn't spoken, or anything, but he remembered seeing her talking to Lucy, which he later found out from Lucy was in regards to cheerleading. The girl had tried out for cheerleading. But there was something else. Although he was sitting with this girl because he saw her talking with Lucy, he felt something else...A connection, maybe? It was strange, and he really didn't understand it, but he just felt this need to talk to the girl, get to know her. He hoped it wasn't a 'I wanna get in your pants' urge though, Lucy would murder him.
Walking over to her, he smirked softly. "Hey there," he said charmingly, before knealing down and sitting not too far from her, placing his back against the wall and throwing his bag on the floor and taking a bite from the pizza, flashing another friendly smile towards the girl. "Hope you don't mind me sitting here, you looked lonely, and bored. Those two things are never good, especially someone like you, who looks like you shouldn't be either." He glanced over, noticing her phone, and chuckled softly. "One session with Lucy and you're already undergoing prohibited texting during lunch, seems she has rubbed off of you." He grinned, before realizing how rude he was. "Sorry, I'm Axel. I'm Lucy's boyfriend, she told me you had tried out for cheerleading and all. Thats cool, seems like you survived an hour with Lucy just fine." She was nice and sweet on the inside, but to people she didn't know, Lucy displayed the more high maintenance traits, which he did like too, however pitied anyone who didn't know any better.
