STRENGTHS

- Rich: Has never been a problem for him, since he inherited quite a lot and knows how to properly use it too. Due to being rich to begin with, he doesn't need a job, but still has one and is quite fond of it. He hasn't worked in a long time, but is happy to get back at it anyhow, because it keeps up his cover.
- Shooting: Has a steady arm at shooting guns and is pretty good at it. He also knows a lot of different guns, because he experienced them. He can also fight quite well without a gun, but certainly isn't unbeatable.
- Cooking: Can cook pretty well because even though he has a family in his pack, he still had to cook for himself years ago.
- Social:He can easily interact with different kinds of people. He has enough experience to know how to watch through people. He can often imaginehow people feel.
- Knowledge: since he is over 200 years old, he has quite a lot of knowledge of the things that happened in history and also has quite a lot of common knowledge.
WEAKNESSES

- Anger issues: He gets angry easily and sometimes it even seems like he flipped a switch and he can go from a calm, nice guy, to angry. This has also to do with him being a werewolf and with him
- Tough guy: Because of how he acts; always as the tough kind of guy,he doesn't always know when to loosen up a bit, which could really work in his disadvantage sometimes.
- Love: He rarely ever falls in love, but when he does, he really goes for it, which can end up with him getting hurt in the end.
- Primitive emotions: Once he turns into a werewolf, he turns back intoa primitive creature with all its emotions and he can rarelycompletely control it too good. This lead into him actually attacking Shannelle Gray in the first place and thus siring her as werewolf.
- Being in one place too long: He can't sit still for a long amount of time, because that makes him go crazy and all fidgety and just wanting to move again. If he really does need to be in one place too long, he can get really impatient. He likes doing stuff and especially in case someone needs his help. If someone does need hishelp, he can't help it.. He just has to go out there and help that person.
LIKES

- Cooking: He loves cooking as a way to spend te time, but also the different ways of making food taste. He cooks often and does the dishes too when he has the time or needs to cool himself down.
- Parties: How cliche as it may sound, he actually likes to party and does it quite often. Most of the time it's just to unwind or to meet people. But, he does have a good hold on how much alcohol he drinks at parties.
- Shannelle: Daryl liked her from the first moment he saw her and it was actually one of the moments why he attacked her, he just couldn't help it. But, now that he knows what he did, he started to feel responsible for her, as he is her sire and he did change her.
- Justice: Well, it makes sense with the job that he does, he is a cop after all. But, also because people have always misjudged him or thought wrongly of him because they thought he was a monster. He finds that unjustified and is set to set that straight. He also want to justify how some people – like him – are wrongly treated.
- Forgiveness: He is certainly no saint and he has done wrong in the past quite a couple of times. This is exactly why he likes forgiveness. Not only to hm, but in the bigger picture of the term.
DISLIKES

- Criminals and scum: This fairly strong dislike, has a lot to do with his work and what he has seen in his life so far. But also with the domestic violence he has witnessed and that actually has a tendency of making him fairly sick in a manner of speaking.
- Being transformed: Because he easily loses control over himself once he's transformed, he severely dislikes it. He also dislikes it, because of what he has done through the years and is surely to do again in the near future.
- Disloyalty: He has been through a lot of disloyalty and betrayal through the years from friends but also from family which makes him cautious of it buthe really hates it.
- Arrogance: He really dislikes people who think they know better especially when it's clear they don't.
- The Government: Yes, he does work for the government, but he also knows how they might react once knowing what he is, or knowing what else is roaming around the world. He also knows that the government isn't perfect and thus has a dislike for the government itself, exactly for this particular reason.
HISTORY
Daryl has always been rich, he was even born into money, as his father wasa rich duke and his mother a duchess, back in England when it was still prosperous and rich. His childhood was that of a prince, as hehad always gotten all that he wished for, since he was an only childand the only heir of the family. This of course caused him to getquite a few of enemies while growing up to be an adult.[/BLOCKQUOTE]
Once transformedinto a werewolf by his sire, he only came to realize what hadhappened until it was too late. And when it did happen, he wanted torun away from his family quite desperately, but never did as he was afraid to hurt their feelings. However, when they died and he inherited all their money, he knew he could go wherever he wanted toand that it meant that he never had to work a day in his life.
It didn't take very long after that for him to track down his sire and to kill him, making him feel remorseful almost immediately, he started to travel. He eventually grew lonely, though, and started up a pack of other werewolves to accompany him. In the beginning this pack grew and grew and everything went all fine, until betrayal ensued and there was nothing he could do against it. That was the moment where his pack started thinning out to the small amount it still counts today.
In all those years since he was turned he’s been trying to get a handle on his transformed self but that really doesn’t seem to work, which frustrates him endlessly. With his money and now his job as a detective cop too, he’s also worked on making right for some of the things he’s done in his earlier life when he was more rebellious but especially for the things he’s done in his werewolf state, which unsurprisingly enough has turned out to be even harder than he thought it would be.
CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
He’s the werewolf that turned and sired Shannelle, even though she doesn’t remember it, but he does. He really feels guilty about it and responsible especially once he tracked her down. He wants to set itright but his personal feelings that he got from the first moment hesaw her, are most likely going to make that even harder, also because he’s almost sure that she will hate him forever when she knows who he is and that he’s responsible for the drastic change. Still he’s not planning on letting her know instantly that it was him who attacked her, first he’s going to keep that for himself and keep an eye on her and maybe get to know her if he gets the chance.[/BLOCKQUOTE]

Daryl was sitting in one of the larger lounge rooms of the house he lived in together with the few remaining members of his pack. Two of thefour that were still living in the house with him just came into the room as he was just thinking about the other two and how they went out earlier today and that he hoped that none of them would cause any unnecessary trouble. As the two other guys started playing pool atthe pool table that was in the lounge room, Daryl took another sip ofthe drink he had in his hands before getting up and walking to the pool table. ’If you guys are really going to do this, again, I’ll judge, I don’t need to have to buy another pool table just because the two of you keep playing games against each other while neither of you can actually lose without losing your tempers.’He told them seriously but quickly enough smiling calmly, becausethey knew it was his house and his rules, besides, they weren’t always that bad, it was just an example of something that had happened earlier that he would never forget as long as these two were still living in his house and continue on like this.[/color]
After a while of playing and following it while taking some of his drink and keeping the game friendly. He also laughed because of some of the dry but funny remarks that the two made to each other, trying to antagonize each other, which was something Daryl had seen coming from miles away. Eventually the winner was known and after checking if the peace was still there between the two of them, he smiled and congratulated one before telling the other guy that next time would be different again, or that they should have the guts next time to take him on, even though they knew he could be a pretty toughopponent. ‘What are you going to do?’ The guy who won asked Darylas he started walking toward the exit of the room and turning around and smiling. ’Going to work? Just be sure you two keep it nice in here, and tell Daniel and Sasha to keep it in their room, even if I’m not home yet, they might think I don’t know, but I know…’ He told them as he smirked and winked for a moment, then winked to make sure they got the message to convey his words just now and then turned around to go to work.
