- Military Supplier: He has friends and allies in the military who supply him with military gear and weapons for his hunting life where they know a few things about themselves, but aren’t directly involved.
- Hunting & Tracking: He’s spent hours and days in the woods on his own being on the hunt for all kinds of animals and creatures, learning for all the things he’s encountered how to track and hunt them down.
WEAKNESSES

- Over-achieving: He usually over-achieves to the point where he puts himself in exhaustion and only at the point where he thinks he’ll be a liability does he go to sleep then, seeing his mission as a more important thing.
- Compassion: He’s a very compassionate person that when you know him well enough, can easily be used against him to lure and trap him for example.
- Human: Being a human has it’s limitations of course, which have caused him quite a lot of injuries through the years and knows that it limits him to almost so much danger and damage to his body.
- Being a hero: It’s not something he chooses to be but really automatically is, when he sees or hears about someone in trouble, especially if they definitely don’t deserve it, there isn’t a doubt in his mind to go help them, which is also something that can be used against him.
- Stubborn: He can be seen as a very stubborn person when he has an idea or a decision in mind, also when it comes to helping people, he can’t really get it out of his mind and has to do it anyway, even if it seems unwise.

HISTORY
Matthew grew up in a house with more people than the couple that happened to raise him. His parents were killed before he can even remember by demons, which the group of hunters that tried to save him, failed in but managed to get Matthew out and take him in as their own. The first place that he can remember growing up was a small pretty deserted town that they used as their base, but he also remembers them having to leave when they seemed to be under attack, remembering the loud sounds, explosions and all the flames. The group was also a bit smaller after that, but they still managed to find a new hideout, in a bigger city, one he doesn’t really remember the name of.[/BLOCKQUOTE]
His training started almost immediately, but mostly after that event they started training him more clearly, telling him more and more of what was out there because he was still a kid, which was also why at the same time they sent him to school once in a while, changing them because of how he fell out of place then, and home schooled him the rest of the time. He was still a fast learner, as well as the things he learned at school en home schooling as the things he learned with his training, with all kinds of martial arts, the ones he could handle the most eventually mostly, and then a couple of years later continuing that but also getting different weapons training as the rest of the group continued on hunting in the meantime.
Not long after he just turned 16, their hideout was yet again attacked, this time he was old enough to know it was demons and to follow the attack, fighting alongside of his friends and people he considered family, helping to save a few of them, but again being too surprised by the sudden attack after so long to save all of them, which left the group even smaller, more desperate an falling apart as time went on. They eventually even broke off into two sides within the group and ended up splitting up, and never seeing the other group back again, not even knowing if they were alive or not, which left Matthew together with the rest of the group which consisted of only 6 other people now and leaving him, even with his age, as the second in command of sorts, since not everyone listened that good anymore. This was also the reason why they eventually lost four people in one day, when someone started freaking out when they were in a dangerous area and got their hideout there exposed and before they could shut him up, they were already under attack with badly injured and dead on the ground. Being in charge since their leader sacrificed himself for them to get away, Matthew ended up the leader, with only two people with him, that weren’t even trained or anything, just caught up and without any family.
Matt gave it some time, trying to learn them some things, but after a simple hunt going almost completely disastrous, he took the decision of finding them a good home that would want them, make sure they wouldn’t tell anyone, and left them to be raised there as he went on, alone, not wanting to risk anymore lives but wanting to keep fighting the good fight. He moved around quite a lot, not really staying anywhere too much longer, except once when he met a girl and started having a social life for a few months, which kind of changed him and made it easier for him to socialize. It wasn’t until they thought she was pregnant, that he realized what dangers he would bring her and the baby, even though it eventually seemed to be a false alarm, that realization stayed with him. So without being able to tell her too mmuch about what the real reason was and what he knew, he told her it would be too dangerous, that he didn’t want to get her hurt, even though he never realized until a few weeks later that she had been a witch, and that it wasn’t worth it in his opinion, hard but it was the truth with what he felt for her, which was something, but not strong enough.
After keeping on hunting and also getting back in contact with the part of the group that has split off, or at least a few of them that had joined the army and told him about their superior that knew about the supernatural but couldn’t do much about it. They eventually came to a deal where Matt would keep them up to date while meanwhile getting supplies, weapons and other equipment from them when they had the chance and he needed them. Matt eventually got quite some reports of many different kinds of supernatural activity in LA and around and started travelling his way there, but taking longer than expected because of a hunt that came in between and a family in danger, which luckily turned out to be a success afterward. His plan for arriving in LA is to figure out what signs point to what, and what is a priority of going after and which he can handle on his own, but is also already aware of the presence of a few werewolves in town which he doesn’t know if it counts for all of them, but that there have been reports linking to them, so also taking that as a priority.
CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
Matt originally decides to got to LA when he gets more and more reports of different kinds of supernatural activity and deaths and investigate, because even though he knows there are other hunters, not sure who but still knowing at least that, he doesn’t really believe at the moment they have things under control. He’s also confirmed aready for himself that there are quite a few werewolves and a lot of vampire activity, but that the most dangerous activity of those two has been from the werewolves lately, so deciding to go after them first. Matt will probably try to involve himself with whatever situation that he thinks could use his help, maybe even getting to meet and ally, or not, with other hunters and maybe even eventually a little with the Trinity Brothers.[/BLOCKQUOTE]
