LANA LOUISE EVANS

Lana Evans | 16 | Straight | Good - Fairy/Hunter | Student - Cheerleader | Dianna Argon STRENGTHS
- Intelligent ::: Ex-cheerleader or not, Lana is not a stupid girl. She is the kind of girl that gets straight A's but still is able to maintain a life. Her main objective in this tipsy topsy world of hers; to become a photographer. It is what he mother wanted her to do.
- Resilient ::: After everything; what happened at her old school, what happened to her parents and the secret about their family, she is able to cope. She has the memories, the good ones and sticks by them. She doesn't let them get to her.
- Glistening ::: As a fairy, Lana has a very unique and special ability. It is a form of teleporting where she is able to appear from one place to another, anywhere and with anyone to a location she wants. She just has to be cautious she doesn't appear in a wall or something.
- Photography ::: She has a keen eye for detail, and a gift when it comes to photo-taking. Lana loves photography, it helps her when things are down and is a passion she has, and hopefully will be able to do things with.
- Raw Strength ::: An extension of Lana's gift is enhanced strength. She has the ability of strength far stronger then others, but it can't always be controlled. It can take over if she loses emotional control or something, which worries her but helps her with the 'family' business.
- Her brothers ::: A memory she cherishes. Her parents having been foster parents for the supernatural adopted two stray boys with no where else to go, Bobby and Dylan Evans but they lost touch. They don't know that their parents are dead, but they are a family strength for Lana.
[/BLOCKQUOTE] WEAKNESSES
- Fearful ::: She is scared all the time. Demons, vampires, whatever killed her parents all haunt her life. She doesn't want in to the life, but living with her cousins she may find that she can't escape it.
- Unconfident ::: After all that had happened in her life, she has low confidence. She tries to keep the view of her being normal because she is worried about what people would think if they knew the truth. So she shuts herself off, and declares her self a complete freak.
- Untrusting ::: Due to an exteme lack of confidence, she finds it hard to let people in. No one outside her dead parents know what she is now, and she wants to keep it that way. About her problems, emotional and really psychological, stay between her and her diary.
- Uncontrolled Power ::: With out of control emotions comes a price. Her strength amplifies, and with fear glistening becomes a random power. Without control, she is a liability.
- Naive ::: If she does trust someone, it can be for all the wrong reasons. If a real or fake wall of trust is built with someone, she may believe everything and anything, even if others think differently. She usually gets it wrong sadly.
- Her past ::: She became a fairy to get to Cheerleading Championships, this brought her misery and loss as they were hunted for their power. Her parents died from an unknown being. Her brothers left them. She doesn't like her past, and tries to fight it, but it is one thing in her life she cannot escape from.

HISTORY The Evans aren't your usual family. They might from a distance, a line of quirky but ordinary people who just have unexplainable things happen to them. Imagine being one of them. Lana Evans was born on the 18th of May, 1995 to Peter and Martha Evans. She was a little light-haired baby that seemed so innocent and fragile, and it was their job to keep her safe. Across America, the Evans' had their reputation in the supernatural world as hunters and killers. They weren't untouchable, a lot of them died. Lana wasn't even born in time to meet her aunt and uncle, and barely grew up knowing her cousins. All she knew is that the family were freaks, and they fought against evil. Lana was too also, and it was no secret. She had known about what the family does since she was little and that one day she would do the same. She was just resistent about it. She was a little girl with a big life in front of her, but no desire to kill or too check under her bed every night just to be sure their wasn't a monster under their.
Born in Detroit, Lana had a kind of ordinary childhood. She was a chubby little baby, and was a chubby little toddler. Cute baby fat and all. But to keep normalicy in her life, her mother started her up in ballet. It was what all the cool little girls were doing, so she was apart of that. She was attacked by her first vampire when she was four. She was kidnapped for five hours by some psychotic vamp woman who her father had killed, and it was only the start of the terror in her life. But with ballet, she gained confidence and found that she was athletic years later. A smart girl who was given her first camera at 10 years old, she couldn't wait until she got to highschool to join the cheerleading squad. But before that, she got a surprise when she came home from school one day. Inside she saw her parents and two boys a few years older then her. Her parents took in supernatural kids with no where to go sometimes before she was born, but this wasn't temporary. They had adopted them.
Their was Bobby, a brunette boy who seemed sensitive yet kept to himself, backing some pretty bad attitude. He had grown up in a bad neighbourhood with some pretty bad parents. They were woodland nymphs but they didn't seem like it. They were meth-addicts, and let out their frustration on Bobby from a young age. He ended up running away with her best friend, the other kid, Dylan. Dylan was an African-American kid who was a werewolf, having been bitten by his mother when he was younger and treated like crap as they lived on the streets. Peter and Martha adopted them though and as time went by, Lana got used to calling them her brothers. So when high school came and the world was crazy enough, she started cheerleading. And she loved it. Soon enough she was one of the hot and popular girls as a freshmen at highschool with a natural athletic body (demon-hunting prep) and a good memory when it came to routines. But a lot of the limited amounts of girls on the squad weren't too good, and it was their one chance to get into the Championships in New York. So.......
One of the girls, Portia, had a father that was a warlock. He was really powerful, some kind of ancient voodoo priest or something. But Portia's idea was diabolical and selfish, but all the girls accepted. Even Lana. When the purple moon rose once in every two hundred years, they all went to the woods. Once their, and initiation was instated. It was a conversion, invoking the power of fairies. Fairies aren't little princesses with wings, they are super powered women with an ability wanted by all; the power to glisten. They used these powers, enhanced strength to be skilled enough and won the championships. But everything went bad after that. During this time, her brothers said goodbye. Bobby at twenty-tree decided to do what he always wanted and travel Europe and Asia and Dylan, after getting out of jail decided to join the reserves in the army, and disappeared with a few letters sent every now and then. Maybe Lana let accepted the initiation because she wanted to do something with her life like her brothers did, she didn't really know. All she knew was in one night and because of a petty competition, she wasn't human anymore. She was a fairy. One night as cheerleading practise, they came. Demons bent on taking their power of glistening, and they tried to get away but the gym was spelled so they couldn't glisten out. Out of twelve girls, five were killed. The rest, including Lana, got away. The cheerleaders completely broke up after that. Lana turned straight for photography like she originally wanted to do and some girls even transferred. Lana was left, still with the reminder of being a hunter when she grows up and wanting to be a normal girl again. When she came home on a Friday like no other though, that was when everything really fell apart.

She could smell death as soon as she walked in. She was only gone two hours to go to the movies with her friends, and came home to find the scene. Bits of her parents were scattered over the house. It was a brutal sight, and Lana was left with blood stained in her mind. The police said it was a severely brutal attack, possibly a gang or something. Two people that had sacrificed their own lives to help people and had taken care of two boys no one gave a damn about were killed, and Lana was crushed. The police couldn't contact Dylan because he was in training and they couldn't get on to Bobby because his whereabouts wasn't really known. The only option she had was her three cousins in Los Angeles, one she didn't know and three she barely knew. But it was her only option so only a few days ago she packed up, hoped in her her car and drove to Los Angeles, maybe to find a new life for herself there.
CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
Lana is the first cousin of the Brothers and on the same generation line as hunters. Lana tries to avoid the life, but you can't escape destiny as the supernatural will come for her. She is a fairy, gifted with supernatural abilities and might need to open up about herself in order to embrace who she is. But things won't be easy for her.
