[/color][/font][/CENTER]STRENGTHS
[/BLOCKQUOTE]
- Loyal = She is fiercely loyal to those she calls friends and family
- Pyrokinesis = April's main power is fire, which comes in handy on many occasions. It also makes sure she is very fire resistant.
- Fighting = She is a good fighter, even though she relies on her powers alone, most of the time.
- Knows what she wants = She knows what she wants and when to want it, but is surely not spoiled. She just knows what she wants and how to get it.
- Family = This is both a strength and a weakness. Her family means the world to her and everv since her world turned upside down since she was 18 years old, she is very dead-set on getting back to it.
WEAKNESSES
[/BLOCKQUOTE]
- Family = If you want to hurt her badly, go to her family. They mean the world to her and she'd do anything to protect them.
- Anger issues = She gets angry very quickly and when she is angry, there's no way to stop her from the tantrum she'll throw.
- Trust issues = She trusts only a handful of people and even those she trusts, she is very cautious with, as if she's afraid they'll hurt her too, which in her opinion they probably will.
- Do-gooders = She absolutely hates those who have to do good and believe in karma and everything and she is absolutely not religious.
- Water = Water hurts her and longevity in the water, kills her.
LIKES
[/BLOCKQUOTE]
- Acting = She is manipulative and knows how to act, which she likes to do very much so.
- Alcohol = She is a bartender and is no stranger to drinking herself.
- Guys = She likes guys and she likes dating guys, leading to her having a lot of flings in every place she's been at.
- Her blue Yamaha 50 = She loves this motor, 'cause it gives her a sense of freedom, didn't always have before.
- Freedom = And going where she wants. Those are very important to her and she absolutely loves it.
DISLIKES
[/BLOCKQUOTE]
- Posers = Just like do-gooders, she hates people who pretend to be something they're not.
- Hunters = She doesn't hate them, she just dislikes them, because they have hunted her for a fair share of time now, forcing her to lie low from time to time.
- Small spaces = She is claustrophobic like hell. And she absolutely hates it, which is exactly why she avoids small rooms and stuff if she can.
- Cops = Her and cops don't mingle, so she avoids them whenever she can.
- Abusing your powers = When you have the fortune of owning supernatural powers, do not EVER abuse them, where April can see it. She only uses hers to fight or defend herself, or to clean up after herself, when things got out of hand.
HISTORY
April Zaida Cartel, was born on April 24, 1989, in the Santarilio hospital in Miami, Florida, as Isabelle and Nick's first child. She later on got two brothers; Lane and Zachary, and a sister; Sabrina. Her relationship with Zach had always been the closest, even though they were about three years apart. Somehow, the two of them got close and she was able to deal with his personality, because it came kind of close to hers, later on.[/BLOCKQUOTE]
Growing up, their mother got injured and so their father had to take care of the income. This meant that he was always gone and it wasn't always easy, because she missed him very much so. And when their Dad did come home, from his not so spectacular job, he looked exhausted, depressed and completely drained. And as the oldest child, she then vowed that whenever she was old enough, she would take care of her siblings too.
However, things changed, the older she got and soon she held grudges she never knew she could have. When April turned 18, she couldn't deal with it anymore and she left, about a month after she heard about Zach's ADHD and their parents paid a big sum of money to him. She didn't understand it one bit and part of her was jealous, too. She knew it wasn't fair to be jealous, but she really didn't care, at that point. She just had to go.
Soon April got a job of her own and an apartment of her own, where she could live her own life and no longer be dependent of her family. She did stay in touch with her family, even though it was now lowered to a minimum and when Zach left for college in LA, her slowly growing grudge from him, became even bigger, leaving close to nothing of their past relationship to stand. However, when she lost her job, she felt guilty and felt very low, as she felt she failed to get a life of her own. She also felt guilty, because her vow to take care of her family left nothing and it broke to pieces.
April then heard of a demon that could make sure all her problems would go away on the condition she would do whatever he asks of her in the future. April didn't think much of it at the time and said yes. He turned her into a half-demon and made her parents' financial status better. She felt accomplished, until he asked her to torture someone, which she felt obliged to say yes to, scared her parents finances would collapse again. After she tortured the asked person and got the answers the demon was looking for, something inside her snapped. She became more and more evil and cared less and less about the people around her. This was until she got onto the radar of hunters and had to run and hide. She knew she could never go back to Miami and eventually she ended up in LA, where she started out a barkeep and decided to stay low for the time being.
CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
April starts out as evil, leaving a trail of dead bodies behind her, leaving a trail she tries to cover, by burning the bodies of the people she kills. She isn't all that evil though, but she might need that switch for her to figure this out. She doesn't like hunters, because she has been hunted in the past, so maybe she can come onto the radar of the Trinity Brothers?[/BLOCKQUOTE]
