- Smart. Shannell is quite smart and actually likes to learn. She has always liked to read and learn more about things. Although most of her knowledge comes out of books, she thinks quick to think on her feet as well
- Easygoing. Likes to have fun and hang around with people and likes to joke around, which occasionally makes her an easy going young woman that people like to be with. She also likes to go out and party with her friends.
- Tries to be strong. Since she has been turned, she has had a hard time dealing with everything, but she's trying to be strong anyway and most of the time, she's pretending to do it anyway, which she's quickly becoming good at.
- Brave. Shannell knows that she can't always get what she want by sitting on the sideline and she isn't afraid to show that. She is up to doing a lot of things for her friends and isn't afraid of danger or a challenge, even if it gets herself into danger.
- Trustworthy. Got a secret you want to share? Don't worry, Shannell won't tell. She has never told anyone a secret told to her in confidence and it's a habit she won't break too easily
WEAKNESSES

- Uncontrollable transformation. Because she has recently been turned into a werewolf, Shannell has difficulty with transforming and often transforms against her will once a full moon shows up.
- Hiding who she is. Even though she tries to be strong, she absolutely hates it. She hates having to hide what happened to her and isn't that good in creating lies to what it really is, so, she'd much rather become angry or run away.
- Perfectionist. Yes, Shannell is a perfectionist, she often keeps going until everything is perfect and every lie – which she unfortunately has – is perfectly taken care of. But, she doesn't know too well how those lies and actions are starting to show their cracks.
- Violence. It is quickly consuming her and making her more violent to people around her, even though she doesn't mean to.
- Love. It is not uncommon.. Difficulty with love, but it only increased since she became a werewolf. Because, let's face it.. Who wants to fall for a werewolf? She often thinks.
LIKES

- Reading. She loves to read and when she has to spend the time, she would often just spend it with her nose in a book and her music plugged in her ears.
- Music. Her taste in music varies widely and she is already looking for the newest bands and songs, to listen to. Right now, she mostly listens to western music at the moment.
- Partying. When she has time, she is always to be found in a night club with her friends. She was actually going home after having partied a little bit too much, when she was attacked and turned.
- Learning. She likes to go to school and learn new things. Weird huh? Well, she does. Mostly geology and everything to do with the earth.
- Tough guys. Shannell doesn't like a wuss and would never like on either. In her opinion, a boy has to be tough and good-looking. Not too tough though, because in her opinion that would make a boy unreachable.
DISLIKES

- Taking justice into your own hands. She hates it when people take justice into their own hands and judge too easily. Especially because until recently, she actually was that person, that judges too easily and asks too much of too many people.
- Hospitals. She is absolutely afraid of doctors and needles. She has always been positively afraid of the place ever since she was a little kid and she still has no clue why that is.
- Annoying people. When people annoy her, she is all but afraid to show it to them. Especially when they interrupt her, while she's talking or thinking of things.
- Gossip. She likes to know things of people and is incredibly curious most of the time, but she doesn't like gossping about people and speculation what is true and what not, because she likes facts, not fables.
- Drugs. She hates drugs, because she once had it poured in her drink and was hooked on it for months, until she finally got clean again and she is planning on keeping it that way.
HISTORY
Shannell's parents have never been rich and she is used to growing up in the less rich parts of Los Angeles, along with her older brother Richard. Her parents aren't that long in the United States at all, to be entirely honest, her parents have only been in the US for twenty-five years, which is literally her brother's age. Before that, her father had lived a life which he is surely not proud of, but never told her, or her brother, as far as she knows anything about. When her mother became pregnant, he made the drastic change to want to live a better life and thus moved to the US, where the family remained until now. By moving here, however, most of their money was spend and when Shannell was born, she wasn't much wanted, but was accepted into the family anyhow.[/BLOCKQUOTE]
Shannell soon grew up to be a young and free spirit and never changed. She never wanted to. She liked to party and try out new things and just live her life as long and as free as possible. That is exactly the moment where she came into contact with drugs, at a party. She had just gotten her driver's license and she was sure to celebrate it at her favorite nightclub, with her best friends. What she didn't know, was when she went dancing, someone had poured a drug in her glass, without anyone noticing and when she became hooked, Shannell was terrified of what her family and most of all, her parents would think of her, they were however, very much supportive and helped her get clean again, which was a slow process, but got her there in the end anyhow.
In school, Shannell was always the quiet type who people would call a nerd and she liked it that way, on her own, not having to have anything to do with whatever people wanted, kind of got her the nickname of 'miss perfect' and 'miss too good for everyone else', which were both totally unjustified. Truth was, she wasn't ready to step into her brother's shadow, because her brother had always been the popular jock when he went to school, something she didn't want; becoming popular. When she however met the more popular crowd, she liked them and stayed with them for a while, until she began to realize how superficial they were compared to what she liked.
About two months ago, her life changed entirely when she was attacked and turned into a werewolf. It was one of those days where everything went entirely according to plan, but she had to have the thoughts of something going wrong, with her drug related past. And something did go wrong. Exactly on the moment where she had been drinking a little bit too much, she was attacked and truth be told, she doesn't remember anything about it. She doesn't remember who attacked her, or if it was actually a who to begin with. All she knows, is that she woke up in the hospital and that's that. Since then, she has however been keeping more distance from the people around her, because she knws something has changed in her.
CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
Just an average girl, or at least from first glance. Her world has recently been turned upside down when she was bitten when out of home late one night. She now uncontrollably transforms into a werewolf whenever the full moon occurs. She still tries to be the same girl, keep up with college work, friends and all other things a young girl of her age does. She finds it so difficult to hide this secret from her friends, though.[/BLOCKQUOTE]

Shannell looked at her two best friends, with tears in her eyes, as she listened to what they said to her, about how they were mad at her for the fight she had unwillingly caused. She was never this violent and it hurt her to see her friends so mad at her. “I'm sorry, okay?” She then said, with her voice barely a whisper, before she ran off, straight into one of the guys she had the fight with. She softly cursed and apologized again, before trying to get away.[/color]
She had been trying, she had, but ever since she was attacked, those damn violent tendencies, tended to get in the way. And the only way to get rid of them, were, well.. by giving in to them and that sucked. When she finally got loose, she ignored the 'freak' comments and ran to her car, as she pulled her headphones out and put on her music.
