STRENGTHS
[/BLOCKQUOTE]
- Outgoing: She loves to hang out with her friends and basically just.. have fun. She likes to party as well and is up to trying almost everything; you only live once.
- Strong will: She has a very strong will. If she wants something, you bet that she gets it. And it works in a way too to control her inner banshee.
- Good: There isn’t a bad bone in Jayla’s body and this is one of her biggest strengths, because it really helps her to focus on what she REALLY wants.
- Helping hand: She likes to help out, which is one of the main reasons she chose to become a waitress, in the first place. Someone needs help? Count on Jayla.
- Creative: Jayla loves to paint and draw and she’s fairly good at it, even though she doesn’t think so herself.
WEAKNESSES
[/BLOCKQUOTE]
- Easily angered: She is easily angered, which in her case can actually kill people. Next to that, she may forgive you for something you’ve done, but she never forgets.
- Love: She is bisexual and kind of experimenting what she wants, she can fall for either boys or girls and when she falls in love, it blinds her.
- Good: Being good is also a weakness, because she sometimes doesn’t know how to act around someone who ends up not wanting the best for her.
- Sleep: Seeing as she is a night creature, she is somewhat of an insomniac. She can also very easily fall asleep during class. She isn’t really good in listening to what is being said either and is easily distracted.
- Neurotic: She wants a lot of things at the same time and has great difficulty juggling it all with what she is aiming for. This can be with homework, work, friends.. Everything.
LIKES
[/BLOCKQUOTE]
- Rain: Weird thing really, that she loves the rain, she just can't help it. The sound of the rain falling down, just.. soothes her and she loves it even more on hot summer days, where there have been occasions, she actually ran and danced in it, when she was younger.
- Mythology: She loves knowing more and more about several deities and supernatural creatures.
- Shopping: She has always loved it to shop for new stuff, either clothes or other things, she just likes to do it. She however isn't afraid of spending big and ends up having nothing left for the little things way before the end of the month.
- Chocolate: Yes, Jayla is a chocoholic, she is totally addicted to all kinds of chocolate and loves to taste new flavors.
- Friends: She likes her friends, of course she does. Friendship means a lot to her.
DISLIKES
[/BLOCKQUOTE]
- Being too serious: She likes to laugh and have fun and totally cannot be serious for a bigger amount of time than absolutely necessary.
- Hunters: She's scared of hunters and hopes she never comes across one. Of course she isn't scared for the hunters hunting deer, but for those that hunt supernatural creatures.
- Losing: Either in games or in anything else, she hates losing and she's bad at it too.
- Magic: She doesn't like magic and witches, although she doesn't know her friend is a witch. She just.. Hasn't had a good relationship with witches, at all.
- Cats: She's allergic to them.
HISTORY
Born on Austt 15th 1993, Jayla was born as an only child, her mother was totally horrified by the fact she was a girl, because that meant the Banshee gene went to her too. At least.. No one, actually heard of a male Banshee as far as Jayla or her mother are concerned. Her father has been out of the picture since.. Well, the day her mother got pregnant and so, Jayla was basically screwed, because it made her mother go out hunting, almost every night, leaving Jayla alone a lot.[/BLOCKQUOTE]
Luckily for Jayla, she met Jacinta Landers and the two became good friends. It was a life-saver for Jayla, who soon bloomed up to the happy-go-lucky girl she is today. She really does think she owes the girl a lot and when Jacinta left to go to college, little did she know it was the same college as she would go to.
She had been too busy with her own drama – her mother got shot by a hunter, and ended up in a coma – to spend too much time with her friends. But, when she heard about the fact Jacinta had gone to college, it took her a while to stop blaming her, from leaving her all to herself. Her mother soon had the opportunity to go to LA for better treatment and thus, Jayla went there as well. To go to college and keep a close eye out for her mother.
CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
Jayla hates hunters because her mother was shot by one and thus will have a severe dislike against the Trinity Brothers, until they prove her otherwise. She knows Jacinta who gets in touch with the brothers and this is also how Jayla gets to know them. Keep in mind though, that she is a banshee, and even though she is as good as can be, you still don't want to cross her, giving her quite a lot of enemies already.[/BLOCKQUOTE]

Jayla blew a hair out of her face as she got off the running machines in the gym. She was exhausted, but she had to blow off some steam, if she wanted to manage her next test with a mark higher than a C-. She sighed a bit and looked around her, before she walked to the dressing room, quickly got dressed and went to the library, where a couple of her friends were already at. ”Hey, guys!” She said happily, before letting out a yelp and ending on the floor, ending up with a lot of people laughing at her. She smiled vaguely and got up, before plopping down on a chair and looking sheepishly at her friends. ”So..Does anyone know what we need to learn? I wasn't exactly.. Paying attention.” When she received a couple groans, she held her hand up in surrender and pulled her lip up, as if she was going to cry. This got the attention of her friends and soon, she knew what they had to know. The trick always worked, she thought with a small smirk, as she buried her head in her books.
