Jordan just looked through their window, like a little stalker, maybe coming to New York was a really bad idea, his family looked happy, like they had everything in order again, everyone was happy, mom even had herself a little pregnant stomach, why did he come back to New York? Why did he make this decision, it had only been two days here but it already seemed like a really bad idea now. Where was he going to stay? Lana did suggest he stayed with her and Xzavier but he’d just get in their way. But he couldn’t come destruct his home with chaos now. Especially after all the money they invested in his school, and now everything was back to normal, he was going to disrupt their lives with more drama? This was a bad idea, a really, really bad one. He was so caught up with his career life here in New York, he really didn’t have many friends either to hang out with or at least crash at until he figured out what he was going to do.
Jordan jumped off the ledge as he walked out his old yard and decided it was for the best if his family didn’t see him for now. He walked out the yard and walked down the street towards the city, things had to be better there, and the chances of him running into his family there was pretty small. Jordan stepped into the bus and off to the city he was going, he had no choice at this point, or well he felt he had no choice. Jordan sat in the bus as he looked through the window, watching the sights and enjoying his ride into the city.
As Jordan got into the city, he stepped out of the bus; it was different than where he lived, much busier. He needed a place to crash, he walked through the city, his duffle bag over his shoulder as he made his way towards Central Park, it was night time, there shouldn’t be much things going on then, plus he could find a place there he can sleep at night and in the morning he’d figure out his next move and find a place to live. He walked through the park as he saw a bridge like figure, he figured he could crash there tonight and figure things out in the morning. He headed towards the bridge as he got comfortable and dropped his duffle bag and then suddenly he heard a weird noise, not sure what it was or what was going on.

back in new york. she had spent her little bit of time in los angeles but had decided to come back to new york. it was hard for ana to spend much time in one stop or another. it was like if she wasn't constantly on the move then she wasn't watching her back closely enough. back and forth from one city to another. maybe she should just settle down in a small town where people wouldn't even think to look for her. but if she did that then she wouldn't be doing her job, protecting the good from the evil. tonight was just another night to put in her book. another night spent killing demons and vampires. it was a fairly busy night surprisingly. usually she ran into one or two supernatural beings, but tonight she was on numbers four and five already and the night was young.
she was in central park, right near the bridge. the vampires were trying to funnel her into a corner to kill her. she threw a well place kick to one's head before punching the other one in the face. that only shoved them off for a moment. she grunted as one of them threw her to the ground. she rolled backwards and reached for the stake that had been knocked from her hand. before she could grab it the vampires both picked her up at the same time. they threw her and she ended up flipping right over the top of the bridge. she fell for a few moments and then she felt the cold rush of water as she landed into the creek below the bridge.
she came up from the water sputtering a little bit and pulled herself to shore in time to see the vampires advancing on her again. they wouldn't give up until she was dead which was fine because she wasn't going to give up until they were dead. she lunged forward and was able to slay one of the vampires. she felt satisfied when she saw the ashes in place of the vampire. she saw someone walking over out of the corner of her eye and hoped whoever it was would have enough sense to stay away. she had a feeling that she probably looked like a drowned rat right about now. good thing she wasn't big on looks.

Jordan was under the bridge, trying to get comfortable, when he heard loads of noise above him, he wasn’t sure what was going on but he could hear fighting, screaming and grunting, he had no idea what was going on but it was scary as hell to hear. Then he suddenly heard this huge splash as someone fell into the creek near under the bridge near him, he wasn’t sure what to do, but it was scary as hell, then he suddenly saw this thing just leap off of the bridge and on the floor near him, walking towards the creek as this girl came out of the creek, she looked like she was ready to go as he slowly hid behind the stone lower part of the bridge, trying to keep out of sight. The two fought for a bit as he suddenly saw the girl stab this vampire looking creature and then suddenly there was nothing more than ashes in the air falling to the floor.
He wasn’t sure what was going on, but he wasn’t going to stick around to see what was going to happen, so he slowly tried to get away, as he pulled his back pack over his back and tried to make a run for it, hoping the girl didn’t see him as he ran up this little hill next to the bridge, constantly looking back to make sure the girl wasn’t following him as he suddenly ran into someone else and fell back down to the floor as his backpack fell t the side. When he looked up, he saw the vampire, fangs out, ready to attack him as he slowly crawled backwards, not knowing what to do, he slowly tried to get away, as his hand hovered over the floor and he felt a rock in his hand. Jordan had no choice and raised his hand, and threw the stone in the vampire’s direction and sent it straight into his face. Jordan took the couple of seconds he had to run off.
Jordan tried running away as he ran back towards the girl, he wasn’t sure what he was going to do, but he was making a run for it. He ran in her direction, scared like hell, screaming towards her. “It’s coming, It’s coming!” he screamed as he tripped over his own feet near her, thinking, he’s as good as dead now.

and just like that the boy drew attention to himself and the vampire decided to go for the easier target. why try and eat something that will fight back? ana watched as the boy grabbed a rock and chucked it at the vampire, which only bought him enough time to have a little head start. then the boy started yelling that the vampire was coming as he ran towards her. why he was running towards her was beyond her, probably because he figured she could save him. she held back a retort and then watched as the boy tripped and fell at her feet. she sighed and then jumped over him before staking the running vampire, who was more intent and focused on the boy than he was on her at the time. the vampire turned into a pile of ashes and blew away in the wind.
ana turned back around and walked back to the boy. she reached her hand out to him to pull him off the ground and then looked him over. he looked around her age, maybe a few years younger. he was a pretty boy, blonde hair and blue eyes. he didn't look like someone that should be walking around at night by himself. "What the heck are you doing out here by yourself?" she asked. she didn't like it when people, that obviously couldn't defend themselves against a vampire, walked around at night alone. he was like a walking, breathing blood bag. he probably didn't have any clue that the things that go bump in the night are real and that they will kill you. "Sorry you had to witness that by the way. It was exactly what you think it was" she added. he might as well grasp the truth now.
she shivered a little in the cool breeze since she was soaked. she used her fingers to detangle her hair and then ring it out. she flipped it up into a bun to keep it from dripping all over her. she then pulled off her jacket and rung it out too. "Damn vampire just had to shove me into the water" she muttered as she tried to wring out her shirt without taking it off. she hated the feeling of her jeans being wet and stuck against her legs. she wanted to go find somewhere to take a warm shower and then put on some dry clothes. she didn't want to leave this boy though because she did and he died then it would be her fault.

Well, he was an idiot, tripping right in front of her, now he was going to be a vampire dinner for sure, who’d want to save the idiot who tripped over himself, she’d probably just make a run for it and leave him here. But she didn’t she just leaped over him and basically killed the vampire right there and then. Soaked and all, she was just a fighting machine, much like Lana the last time he met her. She turned around and helped him to his feet, he could see she was checking him, making sure he wasn’t a threat or danger to her, though after his little incident, it was very unlikely. So she wanted to know what he was doing here, guess he’d have to be honest with her right? “Well, was spending the night near this bridge, until I figure out what I’m going to do next”
Well he was honest with her, telling her what he was doing here and she said sorry for whatever it is she did, though he didn’t mind, he saw people in action before, so it wasn’t new to him, though it was becoming a trend being saved by ladies. “Yeah, I’ve seen my fair share of those”. Seemingly she wasn’t a fan of the vampires either, plus she was annoyed that they tossed her into the water, since she was soaking wet. “Wait, maybe I can help” Jordan made his way towards his duffle bag he dropped earlier as he kneeled down and dug in his bag. He pulled out a towel and an old shirt of his as he made his way back towards the girl “Maybe you want to dry off a bit” he said kindly with a smile, as he handed his things to her, so she could dry up a bit. Maybe it was pure luck he was here, but he couldn’t help but take his eyes off the raven haired beauty. She was a pretty girl, maybe older than he was, though, it wouldn’t change the fact of how pretty she was.
Jordan tried his best to feel comfortable and not make an even bigger fool of himself. “I’m guessing you do this a lot? Which is good though, you really saved my life, I really thought I was vampire food for a second there” he said trying not to be to annoying or anything, he was after all kind of watching in and made her task a bit harder by getting involved last minute. “Hopefully I wasn’t too much trouble” he said kindly, as he shoved his hands in his pockets.
