He ran until he couldn't run any further, smashing into an alley wall, as he held his arm in pain, cringing. He paused, gripping the wall tightly as he begun to paint, completely out of breath. Why was he even running, he seemingly had escaped everything. Zach and that woman were nowhere to be found, they didn't appear to follow him luckily. He knew Zach, so he was slightly confused as to why he was actually running away from him. Maybe it was because in his mind, he felt like none of this was real, therefore Zach or that woman were not real and therefore shouldn't be trusted. What was real anymore? It couldn't be any of this, it just couldn't be. Nothing here was making sense. Nothing except, his memories.
It was his memories which had inadvertedly led him here. He walked down the cold and dark alley, pausing as he looked on at where he was now standing. He closed his eyes, seeing it before him as if it was happening before his eyes; only it was in his head. He saw Farra, snapping his neck. He could feel his neck burn up and suffocate him, though not slowly, instantly and painlessly. It didn't take away the sickening feeling as he felt total blackness from then on, when he 'died.' Though why was he even here almost re-living this in the same spot? Is this what happened when you died, you were forced to continuously relive your own death? It had to be hell.
His heart begun pounding as he turned around, shocked to see someone standing at the end of the alley, smirking at him. He turned, going to run, but they were already in front of him, causing him to fall to the ground. "Heh, what do we have here? Fresh meat? You look like you just came out of the ground or something. I guess I'll have to put you back down there." Axel begun breathing more heavily, looking around and crawling backwards but couldn't find a means of escaping. He was gripped by the collar by the vampire, effortlessly lifting him off of the ground. "You're not real..None of this is real." The vampire chuckled, throwing him into a nearby alley wall, causing him to hit his head hard against the wall. He slumped to the ground, but looked up in horror to see the vampire approaching him at a quickening pace. Why was this hurting so much?

The phone shook in his grip. Sweat immediately started to sprout on his forehead as he ran his hand through his hair, gripping strands between his fingers in stress. This was too much right now, and now this - this was unbelievable. The past two weeks had been enough for Ev. On top of finally getting a girlfriend, finally gaining the strength he needs to control his magic and joining a team of supernatural peoples, Ev had been through the ringer. Farra went out with a bang as Ev used his magics to overcome her hold over them, and they ripped that bitch to shreds. But upon his achievements, came his loses. Axel could not have been exercised, or uninhabited. He was doomed, stuck, and he was dead. Ev and Claire sparked their combined dark and elemental magic together in order to infuse the powers of Osiris and Hades to create a vortex to the netherworld, generating a mystical chain to pull Axel out. But with that pesky Evans' luck, they were interrupted and the spell didn't work, and it wouldn't work. Ev wasn't weak. He was strong, and tried to keep himself strong. He was the middle brother, and had been keeping stability in the three brothers since he was born.....
.....Wait, what? Trying to pay attention to the phone, Ev's hand smacked onto his forehead as he started to feel dizzy. A few steps here and a few steps there, a chair sprung from under the kitchen table and slid under him for him to sit. And there, he felt like he was having a vision. Except much more clearer and above twenty million other ones going on at the same time. The time that he showed Axel how to properly write his name, when Xzavier broke Ev's glasses, when their childhood dog Hazard ran away, when Xzavier got Lana's kid makeup and drew all over Axel's face. Memories, the good and the bad that overlayed the ones he had. Ev had been feeling shitty for hours, but now it had hit him. But a new story was written. One lost, but not forgotten. One that would change everything. As he stared forwards panting, he remembered it. He remembered his life ten months ago when Axel came back to home. He remembered getting attacked by a vampire. He remembered showing Axel to college. He remembered him and Axel finding they had powers. But he also remembered that Axel was dead, and all the stuff they had gone through in the last year. His head turned as he looked at the phone, and knew it was true. He could almost already feel Axel as hope launched into this witches heart. "Jayla! You are one hundred percent sure about this? Okay, I've got to g-". The phone had already hung up. As Ev rose, he closed his eyes and opened them again with a hue of dark cloud emulation in his eyes. He had tracked his little brother, he was alive. But he wasn't alone either.
Seconds later, a dark stormy cloud morphed into Ev's body in a spiral of lightning bolts at the end of the alley he stared forwards and saw a man on the ground, and a vamp above him. He followed Axel's soul energy, which was fragmented and distorted but still strong and Ev was here now. But usually, well in these memories, Axel would be kicking ass. He was - broken. Ev could see it, and even though only part of his mind knew how to do anything supernatural, he had to trust that. "Axe!". He screamed as he charged forwards. No one is touching his little brother! As Ev shot forwards, lights flicked from his eyes as the clear night sky was polluted with rain clouds, and he harnessed the power of the sky. Lightning bolts shot down from the clouds as a bolt struck the vamp on the tail bone, stunning it as he sent out a bolt pulse as a bolt his Ev's hand, and the field was directed at the vamp and knocked it onto its ass. Running up to Axel, he knelt down as his hand grabbed Axel's arms. "Hey buddy, hey. Uh - Oh my - ". Ev didn't know what to say. "Do you remember? Do you remember - before. The memories, that we didn't know before. Where we were proper brothers? Do you remembered?". He seemed so lost, but he was found. But whatever was going on with these memories, he doubted that he was the only one for it to happen to him. Tears welled in his eyes, but a drop kick smacked up his face as Ev flipped to the ground, slamming down in a hump on the cold ground.

Just as he assumed the worst was to come, closing his eyes in fear, he heard a loud bang and opened his eyes in shock to see the vampire flown away from him and onto the ground. He glanced over to see what caused this, noticing a man coming towards him, who he recognised to be Everette. In seeing Everette, all of these memories were coming together; confusing him. He felt different about Everette, because for some reason, these memories and experiences of his time with his brother were flooding his mind uncontrollably. He closed his eyes again as he heard Everette speak, trying to deceipher a difference between them. He remembered living without brothers, but he also remembered living with them. It was confusing! What was this, and why was this happening to him? He didn't even hear Everette's words.
"No, its all lies. All of it. None of this is real. You are not real, stay away from me!" He then looked in in shock as the vampire that had previously been pushed aside had attacked Everette, sending him tot he ground also. He gasped softly, crawling backwards away from this vampire as fast as he could. He was still confused and scared, wondering what all of this meant and why it was happening to him. These were all forms of his imagination, that had to be all they were. He watched as the vampire snickered and went towards Everette, who was lying on the ground. He gasped again, but moved away even more, crouching up in the corner of the alley in the shadows. He just wanted this all to be over, end already! He wanted peace and he really wasn't recieving any of that here.
He then looked on as more vampires begun to surface, at least five or six of them. They walked towards Everette, talking with the other vampire. He then pointed to him and they laughed, before some of them walked towards Axel. His eyes lit up in shock, and before he knew it, he was gripped by the neck and brought to his feet, slammed into the alley wall. "Hey, this is the loony one he was talking about. He doesn't look so good..." The vampire paused, punching him in the face aggressively. Axel's head snapped to the side, and he held his cheek firmly, before looking up at these men with anger now in his eyes. He didn't like being smacked in the face. "Oh, you don't like that? Well, too bad!" The vampire went for another punch, but he moved, the vampire's fist slamming into the wall. He then kneed the vampire in the gut and slammed his head into the wall also before punching him in the face to the ground. The other vampire lunged foward, kicking him in the gut. He gasped for a moment, before backhanding this vampire and kicking him into the wall also. A third vampire punched him in the jaw, knocking him to the ground. He was then pulled back up and thrown across the alley, and he decided to just stay down, feeling too sore to get up.

He was so broken. Ev could see it all over him, but he knew he was feeling it too. Something was happening to them, and probably happening to Xzavier in New York as well. But why? It was like Ev was being installed with two lives, one where he is oblivious and disconnected from his brothers, and then this one - one that seemed so much simpler where they didn't know of their destiny, and actually had a proper childhood. A life that was like a fantasy reality, but all the same was real as the other. It made no sense though, but it seemed that someone took this life from them, and gave them this life - the one that they have had to deal with which is full or pain, and danger and fighting. And what is a fight without family, where Ev wasn't even close with his brothers but now - he remembered that feeling. He didn't want it to go away. But Axel couldn't believe him. He was in denial about it, and was messed up. Like extremely, where reality was a mass confusion for the kid, and it broke Ev's heart. When he told him to get away, Ev gulped as he tried to connect to him, but couldn't. A vamp kicked him in the face, and he landed with a thud. The bitter taste of blood wet his mouth as he looked back up to the vampire, and knew he had to do something. As the vamp went to stand over him, Ev flicked his foot across and kicked out the vampire's feet, it falling to the ground as Ev pushed himself up to his feet. Now - it was show time. He had to protect Axel, so he looked to the sky. The white clouds that were appearing in the dark sky appeared in a wash through Ev's eyes. He had harnessed the sky above, and was ready to attack. Shooting his hand at an incoming vampire, a burst of wind and fire burst from his palm and at the vampire. As it ran over the vampire, it engulfed him and the flames blew away leaving nothing in the vampire's place. Call this witch-fu.
Ev rose his hands slightly, and he found himself levitating into the air so he could look down upon the vampires. Gritting his teeth, sparks shone out of his eyes as he conjured lightning from the sky that shot down like a beam and smashed into the ground. He had to gain control, and did as the constant beam of lightning dragged across the ground and shocked every vamp it passed. Ev then lowered, looking to Axel. He was against the wall, held by a vampire. No, not his brother! "Axel!" He yelled as he moved towards them, but Axel snapped into action. He kicked the crap out of one vamp and kept going as Ev smiled slightly. At least he had that figured out, and when Ev turned he felt a fist smash him across the face. But he didn't fall, he swung a punch back. Everyone knew that Ev had power, and fists and kicks were dismissed by him. But with the team, that had changed. He could maybe give Xzav a run for his money. So swinging back, he sent a punch across the vampire's face. With both hands, he shoved the vampire backslightly, giving him enough room to raise a leg. Side on, he sent a snap kick to the vampire's face, and completed with a hard side kick to the vampire's chest, forcing it to staggered slightly. To finish him off, Ev sent an uppercut at the vampire along with a burst of lightning striking down and striking it too, shooting the vamp across the alley as it landed on the ground. Ev clawed both hands directed at the vamp, eyes as white as snow as lightning shot down from the sky in lasers of death, hitting the vamp all over to the point of it combusting into flames. But once the vampire was dead, he turned and saw Axel. He was beaten and down, and the vampire's were gaining on him. Ev moved towards them, and looked to a broken down loading crate in the corner of the alley. Focusing, the crate shattered and wood launched everywhere, Ev concentrating on two stakes as they shot to his hands. Approaching one of the vampires, and slabbed it in the back as it burst into dust, and then all eyes fell to him. Axel should know what to do, and what it takes to survive. So Ev tosed a stake to his side for him to take, as he faced off against four vamps.

Before he could get beat up any further, he jumped as one of the vampires turned to dust, and he saw Everette standing before the now pile of dust. He looked at the pile of dust, before glancing up at Everette in shock. Before he could react, Everette tossed a stake towards Axel, and he watched it hit against the ground and stared at it momentarily. He then looked on at the four approaching vampires, and didn't want any part of this. But he eyed the stake, going back and forth in his gazes with the stake and the surrounding vampires. He noticed two of them coming towards Everette, who didn't seem to react. Without even thinking, his body reacted, lunging foward and tackling one of the vampires. He was quickly thrown off and hit the ground hard. As the vampire approached, he kicked it in the knee, getting back to his feet and kicking it in the head.
He felt the punch hard against his jaw, sending him staggering back and falling onto the hard ground. Thats when he noticed the stake next to him, which prompted him to pick it up and aim it towards the vampire, who lunged straight at it, soon after turning to dust. He gasped, throwing the stake to his side in confusion. It felt so...Real? But it couldn't be real, none of this could be real. But what did feel real, was when the vampire picked him up by the collar and threw him into the alley wall. He grunted, before turning and thrusting the vampire in the gut, before hitting a backhand, which sent the vampire to the floor. He then ran off down the dark alley, not even sure where he was running to. He stood against one of the walls, before kneeling down into a sitting posistion and begun breathing heavily, covering his face. He didn't know what was going on. There was too much happening at once, he couldn't keep up.
