The sudden disappearance of Emery had actually hit Diana harder than she had ever thought it would, the deal had gone a bit further than just giving Emery her sexual energy and Diana getting her blood, she actually saw something in her and to be honest, she still did as a part of her was actually planning on waiting or her to come back, she had to believe somewhere that she would right? Then there was still the whole situation with Marina and not being sure how best to help her, she'd hoped that killing Reginald would help for a good part of it, but the real talk about feelings concerning this... it was just hard, she didn't know how especially when she herself felt like a mess since years, and that was all mostly Reginald's fault too, if he hadn't made the cracks in her wall for feelings she wouldn't be sitting her at the bar in Bloodlust right now with she didn't know how many drinks already down her throat and the next one already in front of her, but then again, she wouldn't have been so caring for Mari to begin with most likely, it was just a very annoying double situation.
After pouring the next glass of booze down her throat, she slightly slammed the glass on the bar and signed the bartender that she wanted a next round for herself. It was pretty much a bitch to REALLY get drunk as a vampire, but she'd done it before, so she just kept going on having faith that it would start working more soon. She did feel some of the effects of it, but not enough as she hoped she would. When she got her next drink, it took the guy a bit longer and she gave him a bit of a pissed off look for a second. 'Better not be as slow as that next time I ask, these other folks can just wait patiently.' She said simply before she took another sip and then drank the rest of it and sighed before she gave the guy a sharp look again to come with the next one quickly again, now asking multiple shots for herself to at least make it a bit easier for the guy to do his job.

(OOC This takes place after he meets Anne)
Robert was in a rare mood. Not a something needs to die mood or in a party hardy mood but in a FML mood. While he was normally a broody bitch and could win the batman of the year award this was an extra special day. He'd already been depressed by his god daughter having been raped. THe image of Mari in the hospital was one he wouldn't be able to get out of his mind for a long time. She was like another daughter to him and it ate at him that no matter what he had tried he'd not been able to save her from Reginald.
Then he met Anne and all the old wounds had flared open again. Part of him dispised her for the pain she had brought his family. Saying you were sorry didn't bring back the dead and it didn't lessen Merry's anguish. As he walked into the bar he noticed Diana. She looked just as depressed as he was. No doubt because of what happened to Mari. He sighed and nodded respectfully to her as he made his way to the opposite end of the bar, not wanting to disrupt her thoughts since she was prone to being irritable and snappish in his experience.
He ordered a drink and knocked it back. It took a lot to get him drunk and he was just getting started for the night. He debated watching one of the underground matches but he wasn't in that kind of a mood tonight. Ahh the things his family never realized he did. Cage fighting kept one limber if nothing else and it made for some nice pocket change. It wasn't ethical but then he was picky about who he went in the ring with.

Diana didn't really specifically feel depressed, she just didn't really know what to do at the moment, so sitting her, drinking and letting the thoughts flow freely seemed like a good idea at first, but for now she still couldn't really think of anything that would help her feel better at least. She held and twisted her glass for a moment in her hand before her eyes caught something, or someone, when she saw Robert coming in and how he obviously kept his distance from her even though he took a seat at the bar himself too. She still didn't really know what to think of the guy, last time she saw him she was literally inside his body while he was in hers, which had been very awkward to see someone act so weird in her body and not being able to do anything about it, although the guy had managed her to want to punch herself in the face at one point.
After again drinking the entire glass in one go, Diana put it back on the bar, signed that she wanted some more shots and then moved her way over quickly to the bar stool next to Robert, ticking lightly on the bar when she was even though she didn't look at him really yet. 'So, at least this time I'm looking at you instead of myself.' She remarked dryly and grabbed the first of the shot glasses she got in front of her and pouring it down her throat before finally looking at Robert. 'So what is a guy like you doing here? Aren't you mostly goody too shoes with training you family and stuff?' She asked him before looking in front of her again and taking the next shot.

Robert looked up at Diana and silently raised an eyebrow to the Queen of the city before bowing his head respectfully, "Indeed, Your Majesty it is good to be in my own skin." he agreed as he sipped his drink and regarded her silently a moment, "I hardly think being an assassin for you makes me a "Goody two shoes" as you put it. I'm rather used to cleaning up after the messes of other people. It tends to just make me a little less prone to leave a body count. Unlike your consort Trenton who butchered an entire floral shop for a single red rose for Mari."
He took his own shot and sighed, "Frankly your Majestly I'm not in the mood to discuss my personal habits. I'm a little worried about my God daughter, your daughter, Mari. The last time she was hurt this badly I had to make her forget the experience in order for her to stay sane. And while I trust Michael did his job I still worry." he said quietly. He grimaced slightly, "If its not too indelicate a topic...when I drove Mari home from Trenton's house the other day I noticed he had fed from her and she looked very drained. When I asked her about it she said he did it every time she visited. Now, I'm not privy to how often she is over there but I am concerned. She was pretty wiped out all things considered. I didn't know if you had known of this or not but since I left her resting earlier today I thought I should mention it."
He glanced over at her and stretched lightly before downing two shots of petron and exhaling softly.
