Snap!
Smirking softly to himself, he relaxed against the wall as he now focused his gaze on the photo loaded onto his camera which he took of the beautiful scenary in the school grounds. He loved his camera, and if it came down to throwing his camera off of a cliff or jumping himself, he'd jump. Taking photos was his passion, his inspiration and his motivation. There were a few other things which got his mind kicking it into first gear, but photography was hands down the most effective. Well, he would say girls, but...He hadn't exactly had that many 'amazing' experiences with girls during school. He remembered the kiss he shared with Charlie in primary school. Awe, that was cute. But now they are best friends. The closest he had got to getting with a girl was when one of the cheerleaders gave him their number, though to his own surprise it was so he could text them when he had finished their homework. Oh, and key word 'text.' He wasn't allowed to call, heck, he wasn't even sure if they had the right name on the contact ID, but he'd take whatever he could get. That was Ayden; reliable to the core. Unfortunately, he was too reliable. That was one of his main flaws. Oh, and he had many!
He sighed as he put his camera down, looking around at the people nearby. He saw the jocks kicking the ball around. Hey, why couldn't he be one of those jocks that got to kick the footy with mates? He thought he was pretty fit. Sure, he didn't go to the gym constantly or train like they did, but he could do it! Maybe he was kidding himself. He glanced over towards the cheerleaders, doing their thing. Boy were they smoking. He could even be one of those, the moves didn't look that difficult. Who couldn't do a few back-flip handstand somersaults? Maybe after a bit of practice, but he could get the rhythm down! Then he could be popular, maybe befriend some of the footy team and even score a cheerleader for prom! He had a year to do it, it couldn't be that difficult, right? Well, for him yes.
He took a bit of the sandwich prepared for him from home, twisting his mouth slightly as it wasn't the most enticing of foods right now. But it beats the cafeteria food. It wasn't that bad, but the lady scared him on her own enough! He didn't know that you couldn't take two apples, and that it had to be a combination of some other fruits. Not his fault! Its not like anyone ate the apples anyway. But regardless, he had been scared for life by this butch, quarrellsome woman to the point of no return. So squished up ham and turkey sandwiches would just have to suffice, unless Charlie would have been generous enough to share her own food with him. Or he could just swiftly steal some when shes not looking, whichever works.

In the auditorium, Charlie was ready to perform. She loved it, the lights, the acoustics and everything. She wasn't one for solo's in New York's Glee Club, but she was happy to be up there. Even though it was cutting into lunch, Mrs Krane wanted her to do her song. By this time, the kids started polluting the halls to get to the cafeteria. Charlie actually gulped. No, she wasn't one for stage fright or whatever. But because she saw him at the doorway, talking to some girl. His white button up with school-branded tie, black pants and hightops made him stand-out. Was he standing there on purpose? Did he even remember her anymore? Charlie wasn't pathetic, and she didn't want to seem pathetic but she - missed him. She didn't want to, but it was hard when things change overtime for the best for some, but those like Charlie get burned. He stood there, his blonde locks perfect. Don't Charlie - don't. But in reality, he inspired this song. And when your invisible like Charlie, being seen isn't too common. She sighed and held her guitar in her arms, the strap over her shoulder as the girl stood up to the microphone. She tried not to look at him, but could't stop glancing his way as she finally started the song. Finger picking the chords, she heard the drums come in behind her and counted herself in mentally. This one is for you - Leo. The guy she grew up knowing, the guy that married her in there treehouse, and stuck up for her when people called her weird or abnormal. But she shrugged it off - most of the time. But when such a strong bond disappeared so radically through highschool, it makes it hard. Sure, she still had the Glee Club and Aydan, but it hurt. It hurt whenever she saw him, and also the obvious fact that she had a crush on him. But the person, this cruel and selfcentred person is all people see. Most respect him, everyone hates him and he doesn't even see it. Except for Charlie, who knew who he was and saw small glympses of the man from time to time. Because he is Everywhere.
"Turn it inside out so I can see, The part of you that's drifting over me. And when I wake your - your never there. And when I sleep your - you everywhere. Your everywhere".
As Charlie sang, he eyes were fixed on Leo as for a split second he looked to her. Did he stop to listen, did he pay attention to her for a second, no. Leo put his arm around a girl and walked out of the doorway and away. Way to piss her off. As the electric guitar kicked in behind her and the base, she didn't want to stop the song. She just wished he could hear her, and what she had to say. Something that she didn't know if she could ever say to him.
"Just tell me how I got this far, Just tell me why your here and who you are. Coz everytime I look your never there, And everytime I see your always there.
Because your everywhere to me, And when I close my eyes its you I see, Your everything I know that makes me believe, I'm not alone - I'm not alone.
I'm not alone!
And when I touch your hand, Its then I understand. The beauty that's within. Its now that we begin. You always like my way, And it never comes a day. And no matter where I go, I always feel you soar.
Because your everywhere to me, And when I close my eyes its you I see, Your everything I know that makes me believe, I'm not alone - I'm not alone.
Your in everyone I see, So tell me - do you see me?".
He was out on the school grounds. No, not Leo. No, she decided to dismiss the reality that maybe Leo is a different person and just doesn't feel the same way for her anymore. But there was one guy that was there for her no matter what. He was her best friend, and everyone wondered if they went out. But going out with Ayden would be like going out with a slightly-geeky little brother. Not that she wouldn't give it a try, but Charlie didn't really have boyfriends - like at all. Not that she is shallow or anything, its just that she is - different. Charlie is very empathic in a way, and very intuned with the world around her. She cared, maybe a bit too much and in society today it isn't really common. And by society - it was a direct criticism towards Constance & Brand Academy, a very prostegious private school that he father just couldn't wait to send Charlie to to make her an accountant or Lawyer. But without question, Charlie was going to do something creative - not what was wanted for her. Not many shared how she felt, so at times she just felt - alone. But she did have Ayden. With her guitar in its case on her back, wearing the C&B uniform with a loose tie and a black cardigan over it, she spotted him. And he was looking not to happy with the sandwich he was munching on, so she moved towards him. "Chicken salad, front pocket". She said with a cute giggle and small laugh as she passed her side bag to him, and sat down on the bench next to him, crossing her legs. Unfortunately, she got out her Iphone and saw one message. 'you sounded great.' She didn't recognize the number. Was it - ?
