"Seems like with all the fighting, I'm just back to where I started..."
He sighed, whispering softly under his breath as he exhaled a cold mist, from how chilling the night was. He moved foward, walking with the sports bag over his shoulder, before stopping and looking around. He was being followed, he could sense it. It was as if him dying had kickstarted his senses into a whole new level altogether. Maybe his power had increased while laying in limbo being all dead and all? He wasn't sure but he knew that if he was being followed, some action was probably about to take place. And funnily enough, he was counting on it. It was weird really, although he wanted the whole normal life dream, which he knew wasn't going to happen, he felt more aggressive and ready to fight. Maybe it was the dying part, or maybe it was being possessed by some lunatic demon who went around doing rituals and killing people. He was going to go with the later.
He continued walking on, before stopping again, sighing softly. How obvious were they going to make themselves? He turned around slowly, and saw a vampire standing there, glancing towards him. He smirked softly. "Sorry, I must have forgotten the cue to be scared back at home. I'll just run home and get it..." He turned and begun walking, and then looked up to see the vampire had appeared in front of him. He stepped back one step, glancing at the vampire, who seemed pretty cocky about the whole thing. "Going somewhere? I don't think so." Axel shrugged softly, dropping his bag to the floor, still staring directly towards this vampire. "No, but you are," he responded, kicking the vampire, which sent him into the alley wall nearby. This only made the vampire more angry, lunging foward, however Axel dodged the attack and kicked the vampire in the knee, sending it to the ground. He begun walking off, and back over to his bag and begun opening it. The vampire pounced, and he quickly turned, pointing a crossbow at the vampire's skull. He laughed. "Don't you know...That won't kill me!" He smirked, looking down at the stake which was placed against the vampire's chest. "No, but this will."
He got back to his feet, beginning to pack away his crossbow back into the sports bag, when he heard rustling nearby. A gang of vampires, about six, soon appeared from around the corner, not looking too impressed. He ignored them, glancing back down at his bag. "Oh, you heard about your buddy, huh? Yeah sorry, he wasn't a very good sport, went all dust on me already, no fun." He continued putting the bow away when the vampires approached closer, and soon begun circling him. He got back to his feet, as one of the vampires begun to speak, presumedly the leader. "So...You think you are Robin Hood or something?" He chuckled softly. "Robin Hood used a bow to steal from the rich and give to the poor. I just plan on sending you all to the afterlife." They begun chuckling and moved foward more, the leader face to face with Axel. "Is that so? I don't think your that tough, you won't even last one minute." He lunged his wrist foward, sending a stake straight into the vampire's heart, the confused vampire dusting in seconds. "Too bad you didn't even last a second," he responded with a shrug, only causing the vampires to become vengeful and angry. Oh no, a mob of crazy vampires, what would he ever do? Oh shit.
He felt it hard in his back as he was knocked into the alley wall with such force from behind. He turned, confused as he saw a huge vampire approaching him. And when he said huge, he meant HUGE! He blinked, trying to regain senses of around him as he felt himself being gripped from the collar by this mammoth of a vampire. "Heh, you might be able to do that to those vampires, but I'm no vampire!" He threw Axel across the alley, he hit hard into the alley wall again. Ouch. Okay, so not vampire. Now what the hell was he supposed to do? His bag was way over there...Commando roll Axel, roll! Wasn't likely, unless he wanted a backhand for breakfast. He smirked at the demon softly, accepting the challenge. He ran foward, shoving one of the vampires and going for the demon, before being clotheslined back to the ground. His head begun to spin, he definantly felt that one!

New York; where dreams were made of. Eli was now a firm believer of that. Not one part of him made him feel bad for what he did to Thomas, just leaving like that. To be honest, it wasn't love because Eli definitely knew what that felt like, and being held down by someone that seemed to want him for some unknown hidden agender was just kinda - insane. So his recording contract agreed to let him to transfer to the Big Apple, which was really exciting opportunity wise. Well, they did that before giving him a check with more 0's on it then he had ever seen, and the royalties from one single were awesome. He was kind of like a little kid winning his first baseball game, he just couldn't wait to play again. Wearing a tight leather vest with a white pull-over under it, tight black jeans and black vans, his hair slicked back with gell (that he was still getting used to) and a chain around his neck, he sat in the limo as he was getting shifted from the airport to his new home. He was pretty excited, pretty excited - and absolutely loving all of this at the moment. It was hard to think he was a guy playing for a local band for LA, fighting demons and taking name with the ultimate bad ass personality. Now, he had - changed. He was slowly but surely, draining the remnants of the past Eli Diastone out of him, a massive detox leaving a possitive, happy and slightly pricky personality. He couldn't wait to see what New York had in store from him.
Then he saw it. As the limo slowed down to a stop at traffic lights, Eli glanced from his phone and out the window. At first he barely noticed it, but then looking harder he saw what was happening. A hunter, up against a group of vamps and some big ass demon. The demon tossed the guy into the wall, and Eli just looked on. Should he? Would he? He promised that that life was over, maybe because in San Francisco it wasn't very 'in-with-the-supernaturalism', and he hadn't killed something in over a month. He tried to consider the varriables, to go or not to go, if it is too dangerous; before he realized that he is Eli Diastone, and Eli Diastone don't think! "Driver, go get some chinese food. I'm not fussy, just grab whatever". He said rushed and opened the limo door, running into the darkness and into the scene of the crime. Eli charged like he used to, fast and fierce like a panther as he launched at the pack. Leaping, he glided through the air as he kept alift just long enough to knock a majority of the vamps to the ground. Gliding, his foot kicked off the chest of a vamp, shooting them through the air as it changed Eli's trajectory as he shot towards another vampire, kicking off of his privates as the vampire squealed and was shot to the ground. That low kick-off shot Eli up slightly, doing an in air backflip and kicking another vamp up the face as Eli landed. Yeah, he still got it!
"Okay, I eat a lot, believe me. But - wow". He said, looking the demon up and down before sending a hard swing to its face. Smashing it over the face, it's head barely moved. Okay, gulp. Eli took a step back. Great, this one was going to be a toughy. Laughing nervously, he gave the demon a playful punch on the arm. "You - look great!?". Eli felt a hard backhand across his face and it dropped him instantly, Falling to the side, he landed on his front as he went to get back up, but the demon stomped down on his back, dropping Eli back down as the demon booted him in the ribs and sent the hybrid flying across the alley, Eli meeting the brick wall on the other side. Falling in a heap, he looked up at the demon. No, not now. Flipping to his feet, Eli shot towards the demon and leapt, doing a twisting flip over the demon and landing behind him. He then sent a hard kick into the demon's back, forcing it forwards slightly as he then sent a low kick to the back of its knees, forcing it to fall to its knees. "Are you o-". It was - him. Looking to Axel on the ground, he had never felt so confused. Not even before he came out. What - what was this?!

He slowly begun to regain some composure, and the dizziness begun to stop. He was shaking his head softly as he held it, then paused, wondering why he hadn't been made into hunter meat by now or something. He could've sworn these guys would've been on top of him by now, but they weren't. He looked up, and noticed that someone else had joined the party, someone that was very closely resembling the man he knew as Eli. No way? How hard did he actually get hit in the head? He watched the fight for a moment, still holding his head, now in confusion. The man soon approached, about to ask him if he was alright, before showing a look of shook on his face, obviously realizing who he was. But what did they do now?
In heinsight, he had three distinct sets of memories. The first, was his actual memories, of him growing up with two brothers and living in Los Angeles. But those memories somehow morphed themselves into the second lot of memories, around the time he came to Los Angeles and then the ordeal with Selena and company. Meeting Eli followed, which led into his third set of memories, and the most fuzzy. These were of 'being in the body but not pulling the strings' kind of thing, where he could remember what the demon who had taken over his body did, up until he died, anyway. He remembered fighting with Eli, faking his affections towards him to get him on his side to use against the brothers, and a lot more scary, yet vivid memories. He hadn't actually spoken to Eli since they reconciled in the streets after the events of the portal.
He looked at Eli, shocked, not saying anything. "Eli?" He questioned softly, before quickly getting to his feet and shoving Eli out of the way, recieving a blow from the demon who was back up already, sending him across the alley. The demon then seemed to focus his attention towards Eli, and Axel rubbed the blood off of his forehead that he recieved from a blow from this powerful demon. He rolled to the side almost instinctively, picking up the bow near his bag and firing it, straight at the demon's knee. It dropped to one knee momentarily, before getting back up and pulling the arrow out, looking to use it on Eli. "Oh shit..." He muttered softly, before firing another one, this time in the eye of the demon. It begun screaming, and rubbing its face, before collapsing onto the floor, no longer moving. Huh? "After all that, and all it took was an arrow to the eye?" He shook his head disapprovingly, before seeing some vampires approaching that he hadn't got a chance to take on yet. He glanced at Eli, throwing the stake that was in his back pocket. "Lets save the catching up for a minute or so, yeah?" He smiled softly, before turning back to these vampires and charging in.
