STRENGTHS
[/li][/ul][/BLOCKQUOTE]
- The Hulk-- Rodney has always been very athletic. It was just a personal choice. Sports and working out was something fun to do when he got bored. There isn't one sport he wouldn't try once although football has always been his favorite.
- Mr. Popular-- Once Rodney hit high school, he began to squeeze his way into the popular crowd although not by choice. It just sort of happened. He was good at sports. His grades were wonderful. His brother was the all-star at the school before him. Things just sort of fell into place for him. People started to look up to him.
- The Leader-- One of the main reasons schoolmates looked up to him so much was because he was fully capable of being a leader. He was the captain of the football team back then. Now, here at the University, he has had to start from scratch again, which he hasn't been too happy about especially because the captain of the University football team is an egotistical ass hole. Rodney also works as an assistant coach for his old high school football team. This has only added to his capabilities of leading.
- Being romantic is NOT over-rated-- People who have been blessed with passing that "friend zone" with Rodney have been very surprised at how well he fits into that role. He knows exactly what to say and do to make the woman he is with know exactly how he feels about her.
- Mmm Mmm Good--Rodney + food = bliss. If he wasn't majoring in Physical Education, he would definitely be going for Culinary Arts. He can do wonders with meats and seasonings. He is always up for cooking for his friends.
- How 'bout a little heart to heart?-- Rodney is a wonderful listener. He is always there to give his friends advice and help them through some of the issues they have. His friends seem to find it very easy to talk to him about almost everything.
- I can see it in your eyes!--Rodney knows when something is up. You don't have to say anything, he just knows. It's a gift in a way. And as for Axel, his uni roommate, Rodney's gift is working on overdrive. He knows something is different about him, but he just can't put a finger on it.
- Stay Calm! Stay Calm!-- Rodney has always been able to handle many circumstances. He just has a way of staying in control of his surroundings which has come in handy and will when he finds out about his roommates extracurricular activities.
WEAKNESSES
[/li][/ul][/BLOCKQUOTE]
- Why can't you be a butterfly?-- Although Rodney was popular in high school, it wasn't for all of the normal reasons. One of the things he was missing was the social butterfly part of being in that group of people. Rodney was never one that liked being around crowds of people. He isn't one to just walk up to someone that he doesn't know and start a conversation nor does he feel the need to. He was always perfectly fine off by himself somewhere or in a small group of friends.
- Where the wild things aren't-- Rodney has never been one to be spontaneous or adventurous. He is pretty much content with the way things are. If people don't like to hang out with him because he would rather go for a walk in the park than go for a naked swim in the University fountain in the middle of campus with a bunch of nude women, well that is their problem. It is of no lose to Rodney.
- The Battle Wounds-- When it comes to football, Rodney plays rough. So much so that he has been hurt multiple times on the field. There have been weeks where he'd have to stop playing for a while because he was too injured to compete. The problems that have been caused by this aren't easy fixes, and he should know by now that he has to slow down. But he can't. Football is a brutal sport. If you can't handle it, don't play. That is his stance on it.
- Don't be afraid--Rodney has quite a few fears he doesn't like to talk about. He is terrified of losing someone he loves. He has always been a very composed person, but if something happened to someone he cared about, he would lose all control. He is very afraid of that.
- Sick like a dog--For such an athletic person, Rodney seems to always be getting sick. His immune system is horrible.

HISTORY
[/BLOCKQUOTE]
Rodney Samuel Brentel was born on September 15th 1990 in Saint Ann's hospital in Salem, Oregon. He grew up into a family that was a bit more interesting in flashy things than actually spending quality time with each other. He grew up with his mom(Jane), dad(Jacob), and older brother by four years, Bentley. They were a very rich family which allowed for both Bentley and Rodney to get much of what they wanted but at the price of not ever being able to spend time with their parents. Things were their way of showing the love. Apparently time with your kids was just over rated.
Rodney may have been from a rich family, but had a very difficult time making friends. He just didn't fit in with anyone. He was constantly being compared to his brother, and he just couldn't live up to it to those expectations. Rodney never resented his brother for any of it though, most of the time he wanted to take on some of Bentley's traits. Being social, and confident in himself. Eventually though, he just stopped trying to, and sort of became his own person. If people didn't like him for who he was, then it was their loss.
By the time he hit high school, things began to change. He joined the football team, spent more time on his grades, and made a few friends in all the right places. Though he still was his little awkward self, Rodney embraced this opportunity. He became the captain of his football team and received a full ride scholarship to UCLA for his outstanding grades, and extracurricular performance.
Now, he is living at the university in the dorms with his roommate, Axel. It is his freshman year, and he already has plans. He knows exactly what he wants to do with his life. He has some great credentials that can help him get a better job in the future. It isn't that he doesn't like the job he is at now. Being able to coach a whole football team is definitely something he enjoys.
CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
Rodney may not know about everything that is really going on in LA, but he isn¡¦t oblivious. He wonders about things and knows there is something going on, but has no clue where to even start. What I can see happening is that Rodney witnesses something supernatural and that starts an obsession that destroys who he is. Not for sure if this is what I want to happen for sure yet. Maybe he just witnesses something supernatural involving Axel and then the relationship between them becomes more personal because now Axel has someone to talk to about everything. I really haven¡¦t decided. Suggestions are welcome! ƒº[/BLOCKQUOTE]

((((Okay, this isn¡'t a Rodney post. I know, I'm horrible just horrible! But I'm lazy, and I've been working on this app all day. I just want to get it up. Hope that is okay. Don't worry, I'll make him FANTASTIC! ))))
Adrian rolled his eyes as the many people around him cheered loudly for a team that apparently was the majority favorite. Adrian glanced up at the big screen TV on the wall across from the high top table he was sitting at. This was one of the reasons he hated sports bars; the people would get so loud and annoying. Eh, he couldn’t really complain. If it was baseball and the Tigers were playing, he’d most likely be doing the same thing. Yes, Adrian was a Detroit Tigers fan. But he couldn’t help the shitty playing of the Angels. He would probably get punched cheering for Michiganer teams. Oh well, it wasn’t like he couldn’t fight back.
A waitress was making her way to the bar. When she finally glanced his way, he raised his hand to get her to come over to him. She did so with a smile. “Is there something else I can get for you?” Adrian barely looked at her. He would normally do everything he could to flirt with this chick. She was rather attractive and that is all he really cared about, but he wasn’t in the mood at all. And he was getting even more annoyed because Rayce wasn’t here yet. “Yeah, just get me another beer.” His tone wasn’t necessarily pleasant either.
She nodded and walked away leaving him. He picked up his bottle of Miller and took the last swig slamming it onto the table. Where was Rayce anyway? I mean what else could he be doing that made him so late. It wasn’t like Rayce was seeing anyone. If he was, Adrian was the first to know. Maybe he had stopped by Reagan’s or something. Adrian shook his head. He would be so pissed if Rayce decided to bring Reagan along. It was a weekly thing that Rayce and Adrian got together at the bar to just have a couple drinks and bitch about the week they had managed to get through. Bringing her along was never part of the plan.
The waitress came back rather quickly setting the drink in front of him and taking the empty bottle. He watched her. That smile that was first plastered on her face when she came to him the first time, was now gone replaced with a glare that could kill. It probably had something to do with the fact that he was being a complete jerk to her. Oh well, he’d come back in a few days when he was in a better mood, and get her to come home with him.
When the waitress walked out of his line of vision, his eyes then focused on Rayce who was heading towards Adrian table. He was just about to smile until he noticed the blonde tagging along behind him. It was Reagan. “Shit,” Adrian said slouching down a bit in the stool. This was going to be a fun night.
