Gabriel wasn't one to be picky when it came to his entertainment as long as it was under the same preferences he always wanted it to be under. He would more than happily amuse himself among his own kind just as quickly as he would any other. Demons had however the nasty habit of getting along less easily than humans and having troublesome powers and resistances too. But Gabriel hadn't ever encountered a challenge he couldn't over come. BloodLust, the demon club. Gabriel though preferring not to wear cloths at all had to always look good no matter what. This night he was wearing what he would refer to as a party suit. No expense spared, not when it came to looking good, though it was a bit of a funny situation because Gabriel never had to try to look good. Strolling in wearing shorts and a t-shirt he was sure to catch all the attention even in a club full of incubus, succubus, seductive vampire, and countless demon and demoness. Gabriel headed over and sat at the bar. He scanned the crowds for a minute with a over confident grin on his face then turned back to the bar tender. Gabriel smiled a perfect smile and spoke "May I please get a jack and coke, no ice, Thank you beautiful." Gabriel paused a moment then continued on "Hows your evening been going? I can't imagine the trouble that you deal with tending to a club full of such unimaginative beings too focused on themselves and power to truly enjoy the night. See anything exciting so far tonight?" Though the dialogue was fairly simple Gabriels voice was still sweet and velvety...like chocolate, memorizing with each syllable, melodious and enchanting even. His presence, words, they were refreshing as a warm summers breeze setting him apart from the chaotic, demonic, and evil nature of most of the beings that were in the club. Gabriel awaited gazing his gorgeously intoxicating ocean blue eyes at the bar tender with a carefree and sincere expression on his face.

Emery wanted this night to end. She was done about four hours ago when her problems first began, and then it just went downhill from there. First there was the ice. Of course, the guy that took care of the stock had called off on one of the busiest nights of the week leaving the bartenders to do the heavy lifting….ice included. Emery was limber, but she didn’t have the best upper body strength. So, the first ice trip, she dropped the whole crate of ice onto the floor breaking it open completely. Ice went everywhere, and she had to clean it up of course. But that wasn’t even the half of it. It was like her first day all over again. The frantic racing around. The messing up of drinks. The slip up of prices. The spilling of drinks. The breaking of whole bottles of liquor. Oh yeah, and we can’t forget the constant falling on her ass tonight because of the mess she had been making.
Too bad she wasn’t getting paid with money for the killing that she was doing for her demon. She’d be much better at that. Oh no, that’s right, she was getting paid in other ways….her life. It was fairly simple. She would come to Emery in her dreams giving her visions of her next victims, and then Emery would run off like a little bitch to do so. Not that she had a problem with killing. She yearned for it actually. The rush that followed as she would make shallow cuts into the skin of any human, demon, or other being the demon asked for was intoxicating in all the right ways. But the problem arose when she was incompetent. Hence the reason for her incompetence tonight at this shitty job. She was tired and terrified. Tired of dealing with the emotions that she for so long kept intact beneath walls that were barely cracked. Tired of trying to hide them now that ONE MOMENT like a plague made them escape out from those little cracks. Tired of feeling lost and unsure of anything anymore. Terrified because it had been little over two weeks since she’d had a dream from her demon. Terrified at the only thing that could explain this disappearance. Her demon was done with her. That had to be it. Emery had failed her. Her last large assignment was to kill all three of the Trinity Brothers, but she had yet to even get close enough to try. She had tried to beat the system and use someone that had reason to kill them, Thayer. Although she had manipulated him enough for the past few months to get him into a position where he could possibly help her kill them, it was progressing slowly which meant that Emery had to somehow speed up the process or find another way to destroy them because for all she knew, time was already up. If she didn’t figure out how to kill them, the demon would put her into the exact state she had been in six years ago….vulnerable, weak, powerless, damaged, human, and on her death bed in a coma that she’d never be able to wake up from. With all of this, she had reason for her performance to be hindered.
She needed a good sexual draining, one that wouldn’t be over in a matter of five minutes. One that would take her for an ecstasy she’d be so numb from that she couldn’t possibly forget. What she needed was someone who she could gradually torture or beat the shit out of and then eventually kill when she was done with them. Any of those options would boost her morale just a bit. Just one more hour, and she was free to do any of those things. Thayer didn’t live with her anymore, so she didn’t have to worry about him walking in on her doing whatever it was she was doing. She had been deprived of just about everything lately because of him. Making him believe she was this experienced succubus who fought the forces of darkness was tough stuff even for an experienced faker.
Emery tried to bury her urges for the time being as she could hear another person at the bar place an order to her. He had called her beautiful which most likely meant he was on the prowl probably searching for a good lay, and she happened to be the one that caught his eye. I mean what else could it mean? She had come across a slew of men, and they were all the same. There was no such thing as giving a girl a compliment without wanting or expecting anything in return. Although he was a bit polite, so maybe she was misreading him.
Emery went right to making the drink. It was an easy order, taking only a few seconds, so she didn’t even worry about possibly screwing that one up too. As she turned around, she also grabbed the napkins the other customer had originally asked for and quickly handed them to him before bringing her attention to the man who had ordered the Jack and Coke. The napkin guy mumbled a few words under his breath that she wasn’t able to hear. It was probably an insult which meant he was definitely not drunk yet because he hadn’t said it loud enough for everyone to hear him. But Emery didn’t care at all. So what if he complained to her boss. It’s not like she couldn’t seduce her way out of situations like that. She’d been doing it for six years. Hell, the house she was staying at now was actually the house of a very wealthy Senior Partner at a firm whom she had killed just for someplace to stay during her time in LA. She hadn’t had any visitors yet had she? Not at all.
Those thoughts seemed to leave her mind anyway as her eyes met the dirty blonde haired suited man’s icy blue eyes. She set the glass in front of him. But those piercing eyes weren’t the only thing drawing her to him. The voice was engaging too. As he spoke, it brought Emery back to a specific moment in her beginning years as a succubus where she had sex with a lawyer in his queen size bed draped with Egyptian cotton killing him in the process. Instead of leaving like she normally would do, she pushed him off the bed and spent the whole night lying naked in those bed sheets letting them find a home against her skin. His words danced along her body much like those sheets sending sensations to all the right places. ”Not until now,” Emery answered letting a smirk move across her lips. What the hell was someone like this doing here anyway? He was definitely in the wrong place. Or maybe he was in the right place. She had no clue what type of demon he was, but she could definitely sense some of her own kind in him but just barely. But that was just a portion of him. The rest could be anything, and she had no problem exploring.
Emery cleared her throat. ”I get by,” She lied eyeing him slightly. ”And what, you aren’t unimaginative or focused on yourself and power? I find that hard to believe….even with your stylish little get up.” Emery challenged as she rested her hands on the bar counter top. Yep, she was sold. This was the guy….her next victim so very long awaited. But judging by his presence tonight and Emery’s uncertainty about him, he may not be the victim at all.

Gabriel chuckled faintly quite amused by her playfully challenging retort. With a charming smile he responded confidently "I can assure you I have no limits to my imagination or what that imagination of mine can do darling." Gabriel took his drink and replied respectfully "Thank you, I appreciate it" Then taking a sip he put the glass down and continued. "Power? It differs I suppose from one individual to the next. I find the most commonly sought after power to be boring and lacking in creativity. The whole world domination, destruction, shaping the world to some ridiculous black occultist like image meh. But to do what you want, when you want, to and from whom you want to with absolutely no repercussions or even faint hint of worry regarding consequences....now thats power and I stopped having to seek it a long long time ago. But the purpose behind it is important as well, I find the only real way to live isn't through rule or chaos but through pleasure and living the greatest desires the world has to offer. Now as far as being too focus on myself, I'd be lying to you if I said I wasn't completely in love with myself, but to be fair love, who would'nt be?" Gabriel winked playfully at the bartender. Then with a more flirtatious tone he added "But would I ever let that blind me from seeing a perfectly good time right before my eyes, of course not, not from any activity or......any company" Gabriel drank a little more of his drink but stopped and decided he could introduce himself at this point not that it would matter much. "The names Gabriel, Gabriel Hart, and Its great pleasure to meet you."
Gabriel gazed alluringly at the bartender raising a few questions of his own. "But come on now. Enough about me, a young and gorgeous woman like yourself must have dreams, goals, desires of her own. I would love to hear about whats clearly troubling you and what you need in order to put such troubles behind you. Your right, none of my business, and how would I know? I have been around for awhile to be able to read when something as simple as making a drink would differ from when your indifferent, upset, or angry. But hold that thought..." Gabriel turned just in time to be embraced by a hug from a very attractive women, a vampire. Gabriel smiled seductively at her as he whispered something in her ear and slipped a tiny piece of paper into her hand. She smiled back at him and kissed him on the cheek before heading off. Gabriel turned back around. "Sorry, old friend, we kind of have a ongoing game going on. She tries her best to sneak up on me and if she can she rips out my throat, but if she fails, well I guess I live. Now you were saying?" Gabriel leaving out very important details to the game left it at that.
