She slipped on her heels, and slipped the jacket over her dress as she got up from her bed and moved over to the mirror, where she begun applying some makeup and making some last minute touch-ups to her hair; which was looking stunning like usual, she thought. And why was it looking even more stunning than usual? Because tonight would be a special night, not just for her, but them. Kyra and Wesley. He had asked her around to the dorm tonight, saying that he had something special planned for the two of them and he needed her there. She was a girl, therefore she knew that special for a man was probably something as simple as having sex or something, but she wasn't even phased. It would be nice, just the two of them as they hadn't really had the opportunity to do this kind of thing often. They were both always busy with the magic thing, and then everything which happened with Jacinta and how it slightly backfired. They needed to regroup and spending alone time together was probably the best thing for them right now.
She exited her dorm and walked down the corridors, until she made it to Wesley's dorm. She smiled confidently, fixing her hair once again and straightening herself out, before knocking on the door. She couldn't deny that she was extremely excited for what Wesley had planned. She cared for him so much; he was like the perfect man, she thought. He was smart, charming, handsome and powerful and she knew that together they were amazing. And after tonight, she was sure that this assumption would only be more solidified.

Lately he had been feeling lost, incredibly lost. Where did he go from here now that he was strong? Where would he find more power? Those were only a few of the questions bouncing around his mind. Part of him wanted to be with Claire, the other part of him wanted to cling to what he knew, to what he had for so long. But there was that darkerer realization, the one that almost frightened him when he was alone, that he wanted to take it all from both of them. It was a repulsive thought, that he could even consider doing that to either of them, but it was there lingering.
When he told Kyra that tonight would be a special night, he had absolutely no idea what he had in mind. Normally if he said something like this it was definitely just sex, but tonight who knew what else would happen. Things were definitely different now and Wes had no idea how Kyra felt after what had happened. He didn't tell her what would happen to Jace, he didn't think she would have gone through with it otherwise, of course he knew somewhere in the back of his mind what it would do to her.
Stirred from his thoughts by a knock at the door, Wesley jumped a bit. Sighing, he got off his bed, straightened himself up quickly while walking to the door, and opened it. This was exactly why it was a problem though, the moment he saw her most of him felt like he loved her, and he was sure he did. Yet the other half of him saw her as a just more power waiting to be collected, she had a timer ticking on her, snapping back to reality he stepped forward to pick her up into a crushing hug. It was like he had never seen her before, the way he pulled her into the dorm room wrapped in his arms.
"I honestly didn't think you were going to show, I thought you were still mad at me." he said as he set her down, closing the door. There didn't seem to be any signs that he could read on her face, at least about what had happened. He could only hope that it meant that she was going to forgive him for that, for his little hiccup in his plans. "Honestly, you look, well great as usual. I guess it's not really that surprising. When don't you?" he asked, before pointing to a counter top full of bags. "I took the liberty of getting dinner, if you wanted it. Unless you're more interested in skipping that part." he joked.

She smiled gleefully as Wesley opened the door and wrapped her in his arms for a romantic hug. He looked so handsome tonight, he always did. Its just tonight, she was able to detect that he put more effort into what he was wearing; that was sweet! She pecked him on the lips softly, the smile still present on her face. She was looking foward to where the night would take them, and what Wesley had planned for her. Was it a present as well? Something expensive, yet beautiful and suited for her? She was hoping for the best, as she always did. Because she knew that although Wesley was the typical guy, he always pulled through when it came to her; thats what she also enjoyed about him.
She smiled sweetly at his comment. "I was mad at you. But those roses and chocolates made me less mad at you. You always did know how to make me less mad at you." She chuckled softly. She wasn't mad at him anymore, just confused and uncertain. They killed someone; regardless of who struck the finishing blow, they were the reason Jacinta was dead. And she was just as responsible as Wesley was, despite Wesley apparently planning this before the act without even informing her of it. Maybe he did it to protect her, maybe he did it because he knew that she wouldn't be able to go through with it and sabotage their plans? He was probably right, if she had of known, she wouldn't have been able to go through with it. She could be a heartless bitch at times, but she wasn't a killer. Well, she wasn't until now. Was she? She didn't have that willpower Wesley had to be able to focus solely on the gain and not worry about who was hurt in the process. Maybe it was a good thing she wasn't like that, too.
She giggled blushingly. "Thanks. You don't look too bad yourself, even if the chocolates and roses didn't help, just looking at your handsome face is enough reason not to be mad anymore." She leant in and kissed Wesley, more seductively than the last time. She giggled at his word of dinner, and hinting at something else taking priority instead. "I'm not fussed. This is the night you organized, I'll leave the decisions in your hands. Though, I do see something a little more advertising than dinner," she hinted back with a playful smirk evident on her face. "Seeing as you didn't get dessert.." She smirked, looking at the handsome man before her.

"I try." he replied calmly as she commented on his little gift. It wasn't hard to understand why she was mad, in fact it was harder to understand why she wasn't still angry. Whatever the reason was though it didn't matter, things were going as he hoped they would. With his olive branch he had managed to persuade her to come here tonight, everything was going to be perfect. Ever since that night things had become a lot weirder, it was almost as if he could feel minor disturbances, like when something he did bothered someone. He didn't need magic though to know that killing Jace had left scars even if technically her hands were less dirty than his.
"Look, I don't really want to ruin tonight, but if you need to talk about what happened, even to yell at me I'm all ears." he said, holding on to her as if she was holding him to the ground. Trailing his hands up and down her back for a moment, he said nothing as he looked at her, into her eyes. He blamed her for so much that had been going wrong, yet none of it was actually her fault he realized, he was letting himself be bullied like he did to others. But things with Claire had him confused right now, afraid he was making the wrong choices, yet the whispers drove him on. They were louder now, louder than they had been before, feeding off of the dark magic he inherited.
Laughing at her not so subtle comment, his hands gently played with the hem of her shirt. "Your subtle comments are never that.. subtle. But then again why risk it right? I am a guy after all, better to be more direct." he replied, leaning in to kiss her a few times. In fact, looking around the room there seemed to be several things like candles, which suggested that he was on the same page as her. "Figured I didn't need it, not with you around. I had a feeling we would skip conventional eating all together." he said, reaching into his back pocket with his left hand.
"I did get you something, though." he said, removing a rectangular jewelry box. In it sat an amulet, one that was covered in shimmering gems that seemed to capture the lighting of the room.

She inhaled softly at Wesley's open suggestion that they can talk. She giggled softly. "You can't tell me that you invited me over here tonight with the intentions of sitting here and having a conversation. As hectic as things have been lately, I had a little something else in mind, and I have a feeling you did too. She knew Wes, as much as she loved him, he wasn't one to get all deep and personal with feelings and emotions. And she really wasn't either. She wasn't going to be like those damsels in those stupid movies who were all touchy and feely and sulked over everything and were over emotional. They were so stupid, it wasn't even funny.
She closed her eyes peacefully with a smile as Wesley's hand trailed down her back. It felt relaxing and was actually putting her mind at ease. Sure, maybe she would've yelled at him under any normal circumstances, but tonight was supposed to be about them, something special. What it wasn't supposed to be about was magic, the circle or anything supernatural related. Just a night where they could enjoy themselves as they are. She opened her eyes finally, grinning at Wesley acknowledging her lack of subtleness. "Oh, you should know by now I now exactly how to be subtle. But that wasn't subtle, that was just a statement of what I feel will be happening tonight." She kissed him gently, smiling towards him.
He mentioned gift, and her eyes lit up. She hugged him tightly, all excited, before looking at it. It was a recktangular jewelly box, which she quickly opened to view an amulet. "Oh....Its beautiful!" She glanced at Wesley, stunned at how beautiful it was and Wesley's decision to spoil her tonight. She took the locket out from the box and held it, looking at it as it shone gently. Just the presence of the locket in her palms gave her a bizarre feeling...

Wearing the amulet allows Wesley to drain the dark magic stolen from Jace from Kyra, making him more powerful than ever. This also leaves a confused and shocked Kyra in a daze, Wesley basically ending their relationship there and stating that he never liked her, only used her to get more power and it worked. Kyra used a reflex spell to stun Wesley for a brief moment, allowing her to escape from the dorm and run down the street, where she soon begun to break down in tears at everything that has transpired.
