Emery peered out from behind the damp brick wall of Blue Lagoon Strip Club. The vampire was still feeding on the girl up against the wall next to the dumpster. She had been following him all night, and she could definitely tell he was a fledgling because he still hadn’t noticed her. That was perfectly fine with Emery. The attack was better when it was unexpected. But she was sick of waiting. She’d been following this vamp all night, and his decisions as to where to roam tonight were rather boring. Probably the only intriguing place the vamp had chosen to stalk was the strip club. Watching the exotic dancers grind up against the poles half naked while men stuffed dollar bills into the women’s panties was definitely the highlight of the night for Emery. But that was done and over with a half hour ago when the vampire chose a prey and hunted her giving off his really lame ass charm which was enough for any dancer as long as money was involved. Now he was feeding on her in a dirty alley up against the wall of her place of employment. How tacky and cliché was that? Very! Where was the fun and excitement of the kill? Oh right, it was given to all the succubi and incubi. What was so special about this particular vampire anyway that made her demon change his mind about killing the vampire in the warehouse and turn his attention towards this dude? I mean this guy clearly had no imagination, creativity, or skill at all for this. But at this point, it really didn’t matter. Killing her would obviously be a challenge, but the whole situation made her very emotional last time which made her look incompetent. Plus, it was all just a rather strange encounter that she didn’t even want to think about. But in all honesty, it wasn’t like she could get the woman out of her head. It had been a week and a half since the fight, and Emery couldn’t stop thinking about her. What she had done to her physically….and emotionally. It was all very unanticipated. But this vampire would be no problem at all. A piece of banana cake with vanilla frosting on top.
Emery stepped out from behind the corner of the wall and cautiously moved towards him making sure to step around the puddles. He may not be as knowledgeable about his skills as the woman she was supposed to kill a week and a half ago, but he was still a vampire which meant he could still hurt her. As Emery got close to him, the vampire let the woman’s body in his hands drop to the alley ground. This was a perfect time to attack; when he was savoring the taste of his victim. Emery lunged forward thrusting her wooden tipped dagger up into the back of his ribcage piercing his heart. The vampire gurgled for only a few seconds before bursting into a pile of ash mixing in with the water already present in the alley. Emery stared down at the pile and smirked. ”That was easy.”

Here she was, standing on a roof next to the strip club that the chick that she had beat up yet spared that had tried to kill her that was down there. At first she wasn't sure to expect more trouble from her, but eventually she couldn't stop but want to go out, check it out, and also get some peace and quiet from how Mari was making it too difficult for herself with the whole Rodney thing. She sighed as she thought about that, exactly why she had to go out, do something, and securing her hold even more was a good way of getting her mind of things.
So she watched as the chick suddenly seemed to have acquired her target, and it didn't take long at all for Diana to notice that it was one of her vampires, not one that she really knew all too well, but she was responsible for them, so in a way she cared for all of them, except the ones that stepped out of line. When she saw how the chick killed her, Diana shortly looked away and then closed her eyes as another sigh escaped her lips. Yet as she looked back, with gritted teeth, she clenched her hands together to fists and focused her eyes sharply on Emery now primarily, she wasn't going to let this slide so easily as the chick remarked it was.
Diana stood there for a bit longer, but then jumped off the roof where she was standing on, landing calmly on the ground below and then gritted her teeth again, before charging the chick with her vampire speed and pushing her strongly against the wall behind her, which made it dent a bit because of the force behind it. 'Never think things are easy.' She hissed warningly against her to let her know that her thinking that, only made Diana more pissed at the moment. 'This is exactly what I meant!' She said sharply in a pissed of tone of voice as she yet again pushed her against the wall with her hands holding her tightly by her collar and neck. 'You're here, following orders like a good little slave yet again, killing one of mine! How can you even think I wouldn't find out? Because I would if I hadn't followed you, and we would have this exact same talk anyway!'
Within a flash Diana had pulled out a knife of her own and held it up while looking Emery straight in the eyes as her own were narrowed because of how pissed she actually was at the moment. 'Now stay calm... But I warn you, just give me a reason, and I'll finish the job anyway I could have done at the warehouse.' She told her more softly but still in a very warning tone as she slowly let her go and stepped backward, lowering her arms and the knife in the process for now. 'What do I do with you? What to do with you...' She said thoughtfully mostly in herself as she turned sideways a bit and put a few steps forward as she still kept her eyes and ears focused on Emery, in case she tried something, and a part of her, actually hoped she would.

Emery unzipped her leather jacket and pulled her dark blue tank top outward repeatedly to get any dust that had gotten stuck between her shirt and her skin out. This was the only sucky part about killing vampires. Their dust just decided to fly wherever it decided to fly which happened to be down her shirt and in her bra quite often. Emery moved uncomfortably as she could feel the grains from the vampire’s bones digging into the skin along her side making her itch all over.
Just as she felt that she had gotten all of the dust particles out of her shirt, Emery was knocked backwards getting picked up off of the ground taking her breathe away completely. Her body was pinned to the brick wall the assailant pushing hard against her crushing her up against the brick wall. As Emery tried to catch her breath, her eyes focused on the person in front of her through the crumbling of the wall. Of course, it was Diana. Emery had expected her to show up after this little kill of hers. After all, Diana was the elder vampire of this area. Oh yeah, Emery had done her homework. After getting her ass kicked by this bitch the first time, and Diana making her feel like nothing but a piece of shit that just followed orders, she needed to prepare herself. She had gone into the last fight completely ill prepared because her demon decided that it was unnecessary to tell her what kind of things she’d be going up against. Although she didn’t know what Diana was going to throw at her this time, Emery had made sure to suck enough sexual energy to get herself to the point where she may actually have a chance against Diana tonight if things started to get violent which they already seemed to be doing.
As Diana hissed at her, she just listened to her allowing Diana to continue to push her up against the wall. It wasn’t like there was a way around it. Diana was much stronger than her. She would just have to bear the verbal abuse yet again and wait for Diana to let her go. Emery winced and averted her eyes from Diana’s as she could feel the tip of the knife slowly gliding across the skin at her neck. When Diana finally stepped back, Emery’s feet hit the ground, and she coughed attempting to allow air back into her passageways. Once Emery was actually able to breathe normally again, Emery glanced over at Diana who was now asking Emery what she should do with her. Emery was a bit confused. She had come to kill this vampire of Diana’s and thought for sure that Diana would attempt to kill her, but Diana had backed off completely and was seriously contemplating what could be done with her. This meant that she obviously didn’t want to kill Emery. But why? After that scene in the warehouse, Emery was pretty sure Diana couldn’t wait for the moment where she could slice through Emery’s neck and drain her dry. But Diana’s moment of pondering did not stop Emery from wanting to kill Diana which was shown by the fact that Emery was already getting ready for an attack. Her hand was clenched around the dagger that had remained in her hand. Diana had slipped her way in breaking open some of the cracks that Emery had for so long kept hidden. But why wasn’t Emery moving towards her to actually kill her? Why was she just standing there almost waiting for Diana to say something else? Emery knew why, but she didn’t want to admit it to herself. Diana was able to break through all of those barriers that Emery built around herself to protect herself. She knew she should be upset about that, but in a way Emery was thankful. That tiny piece of her old self was coming through again, and it wasn’t because Emery let it, it was because Diana had pulled it out of her enough to make her possibly feel something….anything again.
Emery slipped the wooden tipped dagger into the holster on her side not taking her eyes off of Diana’s. ”Well, what do you want to do to me?” Emery asked matter of factly her arms dropping to her sides.

Diana kept standing right in front of Emery since she wanted to show that she wasn't scared of her at all, but that was also the point from the start, she had said she saw something in her, and it was true so it wasn't just that she was stronger than her even though if Emery consumed enough that fight would probably go on for hours or something, it was more that she just knew for sure almost that this wasn't what she wanted anyway.
A small laugh escaped Diana's lips as she smirked when Emery asked matter of factly what it was that she wanted to do with her and at first Diana simply shrugged with her shoulders with one of her hands thoughtfully at her chin. 'So many possibilities right? I mean we could start fighting again but hey, if I was looking for that I would have done it, but let me be sure that you keep off of my vamps, I'm trying to build an empire here you know? One that I would welcome you in but you're on a way too tight leash for that still I think, otherwise you wouldn't be here.' Diana said seriously before she smiled again and then stepped forward and coking her head to the side.
'Let's do this as grown up supernatural beings I say, and what I want is what every vampire wants, last time was pretty good.' She started with the now somwhat devilish grin on purpose still on her face with another step forward and putting her hand on Emery's shoulder and looking from that hand to her eyes again. 'And I know what you need and want, which I'm happy to give you in return.' She said while raising an eyebrow after finishing her sentence, clearly waiting simply for Emery to catch on and agree even which Diana hoped but also thought she would.

Emery rolled her eyes at Diana's remarks about her once again following orders. There was reason for Emery doing what she did, Diana just didn't know about it, and she was never going to. It was none of the vampire's business. But Emery couldn't help but wonder if it really mattered if the demon could easily take away everything from Emery? No, it didn't because in all actually Diana was right. Even though Diana didn't know about her past or what Emery had done thus far, nothing had changed. Emery was still the same Emery she had been those six years ago before she became a succubus. She was yet again following orders and being the person that let others walk all over her. It killed her knowing that after everything, it was all just the same. The only difference was that instead of her cowering and doing nothing about people taking advantage of her, she was able to pack down her emotions and take care of them in different ways.
Emery's eyes flickered out of her state of confusion focusing on Diana now. Emery hadn't realized that Diana had actually stepped forward and had placed her hand on Emery's shoulder. Emery's eyes met Diana's as she caught on to what the vampire was suggesting. But Emery didn't even give herself enough time to think about the actual benefits or side-effects of this deal Diana presented. She did what she had frequently been doing lately. When those emotions were too much for her to handle, she take them and run with them doing just about anything to pack them back down and make herself feel better about the situation....draining and killing was the first instance she would consistently revert back to.
Emery's hands went up to grip the sides of Diana's face pulling her in towards her pressing her lips hungrily to Diana's. She had already drained some of Diana once before which was to amazing to be able to describe in detail. But the purpose behind this kiss had originally been to do just that....drain her to make herself feel stronger about herself, but it really wasn't turning out like that. Emery was holding back because for some odd reason, killing Diana wasn't something she wanted right now. This was all so confusing to Emery. She should want to kill Diana for everything that happened on their first encounter and then making things in her life too clear for her now, but she didn't.
Emery stepped back quickly pulling Diana along with her still moving her lips against hers. She could feel herself nearing the brick wall again. Emery spun her around slamming her into the brick wall, but not at all like Diana had done to her. This time it was for a different reason entirely. Emery didn't want to kill her at all. She just....wanted her.
