Her eyes peered around the room. She had never felt so relieved, but also to the point that she was just tired. Tired of everything, tired of her life right now. It was only six months ago where she was driving into this city, so uneasy. Innocent, lonely and just wanting a normal life. She had been through so much in LA. She became a hunter, well accepted it anyways. She had taken a huge leap into the supernatural world. She had had sex with a demon. She had learnt how important family was and how unimportant a social reputation was. And she was able to properly find herself. But it isn't just positive things she had found in this place, but pain. She had fallen in love twice; once with a guy that disappeared and another with a demon that is going to destroy the world. She had been almost killed so many times, and had been stalked and hunted like an animal. But this was the cherry on top; she had just stopped an apocolypse.
The house was safe enough to go inside so she changed. Blood, grime, spleen, decayed skin and dirt covered her, and the house was trashed. She had found five brain dead zombies in the house, but after the Dawn of the Dead night she had had, she justed stepped over them and got ready. It was a thing that changed you after this, and you see things more clearly. It was a time of repairing, and re-evaluating things. With Samael and Axel officially gone forever, she was at a loss. But in LA Fever, it was the place where people of LA were recovering. But Lana found herself on the stage. Spirits were down, literally, and she felt like it was time to make big changes. Xzavier had asked her if she would go with him to New York for a case. At first, she was definitely hesitant, but now - it was a definite yes. So on stage, she sat at the piano and her hands sat on the keys. She never played piano anymore since in Detroit, the music club clashed with the cheerleaders, but she liked to sing in the comfort of her own home. But maybe singing, would give others some comfort with a rendition of Kelly Clarkson's 'Stronger'.
''You know the bed feels warmer,
Sleeping here alone.
You know I dream in color,
And do the things I want.
You think you got the best of me,
Think you had the last laugh.
Bet you think that everything good is gone.
Think you left me broken down.
Think that I'd come running back,
Bet you think you know me but your dead wrong.......''.
With a much slower tempo, she paused for a second and looked up at the people. Dirty and scared children covered in blankets and looking up at her, wounded people getting helped by others and some even sitting at the bar and having some shots. People could recover, she knew it. But what Lana knew is if she was going to recover, it wasn't in LA. That - she definitely knew.
''What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, stand a little taller. Doesn't mean I'm lonely when I'm alone.
What doesn't kill you makes a fighter, footsteps even lighter. Doesn't mean I'm lonely because your gone.....
.....I'm not alone''.
[This is Lana finding herself, and the last thing for her in this season apart from any unfinished threads]
