Mari is quietly recovering in the hospital when Diana and Trent arrive. Seeing them she bursts into tears where they quietly tell her everything will be alright. After calming her for a bit they slip off claiming they have to deal with the media circus. Mari may know otherwise but she nods and they leave.
Once they and Rodney are gone, Michael arrives and offers what awkward words of comfort he can, healing what Logan may not have been able to and telling her he will be there if she needs him. He leaves only when he is sure she is stable enough for him to do so and from a distance sees Reginald die by Diana and Trent's hands knowing that, at least for the moment Samael is stopped from becoming a full demon through the death of Reginald.
Samael, also watches from a distance and is enraged that he cannot be the one to deliver the death blow. Railing and shrieking his vengeance at Corvin's estate he pauses when Corvin points out that this just delayed things a little. Pulling out a copy of Reginald's will he shows where Samael has access to Sinclaire Manor and can, so long as he follows the rules, get revenge on his sister.
Samael smiles evilly and agrees but then glances over at Corvin, threatening the Warlock's life if he even tries to steal Mari's life force. He may wish to bend his sister to his will but he does not seek her death. Corvin agrees, calming the vengeance demon down and they plot to take over the home while Mari is recovering from her rape.
