Thread Summary: Rodney meets Mandy in the middle of campus by the fountain, and they walk together to the docks where they almost kissed. Rodney has set up this meeting because he has come to the decision that the best thing for him is to leave. He just isn't sure how to bring it up. As they walk to the docks, Rodney asks Mandy what has been going on with her since they last spoke. He does want to talk about their awkward moment, but it seems that every time he seems to slip in something about it, she averts the conversation.
When they reach the docks, Rodney explains to Mandy that there have been so many things going on with him that he needs to leave to understand them. He explains to her that he doesn't know who he is anymore. This is very difficult to Mandy to hear because Rodney has been her best friend for quite a while, but she gets that he has to do what he has to do. |
