The front doors of the home was shoved open. Was she home? Then he would make them wait. But this was it - this was the team. It was a really screwed up bunch, but they were powerful and had their own little skill that could help. All he knew was that this demon didn't stand a chance because with this foundation funding all the jack-packed shit, they were set. Cruise wasn't the most strategic or - really intellegent person in the world but he was knowing enough to know that they were about to kick this guy back to hell. They had a bit of work to do, yeah, but that is why Cruise was here. He was the Seba Mau, and his degree of skill was fucking amazing. He could stable a fly to the wall with a pencil, know the exact trajectory of an object and smack pullets out of the air. Basically, he kicked major ass. If he could transfer it to these guys, then he would be fine. Not so much with Everette since he is a vampire hunter, but at least he would be able to advise too. He wasn't exactly sure what Mari was expecting to do at the moment, but he trusted his cousin and knew she would work it out. Turning, he looked to the group as they came into the room. "A'right guys. Take a' seat 'nd Ah'll go get 'er". He said as he turned and telepathically tried to find Mari.

She walked into the room and smiled softly, a few moments after Cruise spoke. She had power point slides, dossiers and sorts of stuff to look impressed. She tried to look impressive and badass but it failed when she tripped over her own feet and the files scattered, "Oh man..." she sighed and began picking things up before realizing she hadn't introduced herself, "Uhhh hi. I'm Mari and I'm a clutz. Its nice to meet you." Hey at least she looked good in her teal dress with these kick ass shoes. The shoulder with her mark was bare and it shown a dark blue against her pale skin. After she got herself sorted out and passed out the files with the important info on Samael she got the computer going with her snazzi power point slides. "So yeah my name is Marina Sinclaire and I gathered you all together to deal with a demon issue. But not just any issue one that affects the whole world. The demon, Samael." she clicked to an image of him looking psychotic, "Is the son of a part vengence demon/ and part dragon demon and a human psychic. He's been trying to kill this man..." she clicked a slide with her father's face on it, "so he can become a full demon and take over the fifth circle of hell which is the circle of rage, vengeance and wrath. Now I've called you all here because Samael's plan upsets the natural order of things. See waay back in the dawn of time before any of us existed it was determined that there should be only one adversary for God and that would be the big S man, the Morning Star, Lucifer aka Satan." She pushed her glasses on her nose and looked out, "We, ladies and gentlemen, are alll that stand between Samael and the total chaos of hell on earth. WE are the ones who have been chosen to stand as a line in the sand against Samael. Each of you has special powers to lend a hand in this fight and no one person is more pivitol than the rest. If you notice you each have code names. This is so we don't have to give our secret identities. You'll be issued weapons and uniforms and have access to healing and a nice 40 k a year pay check just for going on missions to track Samael down. You'll notice each of you has sunglasses next to you you and this is because, ladies and gentlemen..." she slipped her own raybans on, "We are on a mission from God." she grinned then slipped them off, "But seriously folks, we are on a mission from God and it is vitally important to help in this endeavor. I was tasked by the right hand of God, the Angel of wrath, Michael to help stop Samael from achieving his goal. Now this does not mean we have to kill him. It may mean we just piss on his parade. Samael has exhibited telekinesis, pyrokenesis and durability beyond most demons." she sighed and looked at them, "He's also my half brother. I cannot stress enough how dangerous he is. He's already destroyed Everette's shoppe and killed quite a few people. He tried to force choke me and be all Darth Vader but I managed to soul blast him with my abilities and get him to leave me alone. Simply put, I need your help. Cruise, for all that he is a badass and total hottie is not gonna be able to take Samael down on his own." She looked out at the crowd, "Any questions? In your files should be all the known patterns of Samael as far as I have been able to track. WE have to stop him from killing my dad. Not because my dad doesn't deserve it, but because it will plunge the world into darkness and that just sucks."

He could grant that it was a nice place. He walked in by Claire and Jayla's sides, looking around the place. Cruise was cool but somehow a cupid was going to show them what was what. A cupid? He was pretty astonished by the fact, but that was pretty redundant since his cousin is a friggin' fairy. When she appeared, he didn't smile but tried to be serious. And they sat and watched - - a slideshow? His eyebrow rose as he looked at pictures and such, and listened to her. It was a good cause, he knew this. With everything going bad in his life, doing just a little bit of good on his way wasn't exactly a bad thing. When she did the thing with the glasses, he didn't know how to take that little gesture. It was serious, she was discussing world in peril stuff. In the 'pissed off at everyone but not Jayla' state of mind he was in, Ev rolled his eyes at it. Seriously? When questions came, he pipped up. "Yeah, I'm Everette. I don't really know a few of these people so since I have worked in a trio all year, I need to know who we're partying with. If that's okay with you - - Marti?". He said and smiled slightly. He really wasn't a name person.

Claire curiously looked around as she came in next to one of Ev's sides as Jayla was on his other and she looked over some of the other people she saw around here, not really knowing at first hand what to think of them. She could say that she trusted the two people next to her, Ev was her best friend so that spoke for itself, and Jayla, well even though she didn't really have much contact with her, she knew enough to trust her, especially around this bunch for now. When Mari showed up, she smiled a little because that made things better, although it made half of her laugh slightly on the inside because of this other serious side that she hadn't seen before, and noticing something funny was something that didn't come on it's own the last few weeks, she didn't even want to think exactly how long it was. She looked and listened closely to everything as she sat next to Ev and then cocked her head the the side as she nudged Ev in his side with her elbow. 'It's Mari!' She told him quietly but quickly. 'But I do agree with Everette on this, an introduction would be helpful to start with, so I'm Claire by the way.' She said with half an uncomfortable smile as she slightly raised her hand as a greeting gesture while looking around at everybody again.

Jayla felt nervous, even though Everette was with her and Claire as well. She felt safe with Everette, which was something that was most important, at least for her. She looked around and took in everyone that was here, as she made sure she kept close to Everette and listened to that which was being said, while she looked at the slideshow, that she had to force keeping her attention to. But soon, her attention slipped and she looked at Everette. "Can you give me a short version when we're done? My dyslexia is really messing things up for me." She whispered, before she looked around, when the questions were handed. She didn't want to look stupid, even though this was a team, not a classroom.
"I'm Jayla. I do think we should tell our species, as they could be a good asset in this team. I'm a Banshee. And yes, that does mean I can scream your head off." She said, with an easy smile, trying not to come over as feeling too uncomfortable. Well, she felt uncomfortable, but that wasn't the point.

He stood somewhere in the back, hesitant to actually be here. It wasn't because he disliked Marina or that he wasn't on board with the whole cleansing L.A thing. It was more along the lines that he had never really believed in much of anything until this moment. Even though he could heal, even though he stopped plenty of strange things from happening, he had always swept them under the rug as isolated incidents. But now they were standing here talking about heaven and hell like it actually existed? Part of him stood her baffled, outraged, and wanting to have a small irritated outburst however he held it quite well. There was a lot on his mind when he heard about these things.
It quickly went from demons, to angels, to an introduction phase. Looking around at all the faces, Logan shrugged his shoulders gently as it seemed that he was the only one to say nothing. "Logan." he said simply, following suit with everyone else. Though, he was deep in thought about this "Ass-kicking" they were suppose to be doing. He could fight, sure, however he was never one to really do it unless he was directly in harms way or someone depended on it at the time. The idea of weapons and a uniform also seemed a bit out there for him, on top of trying to figure out how he was going to help them and continue to help everyone else at the hospital was crushing down on him.
"Forgive me if I don't feel like sharing with the class just yet beyond that. This is alot to swallow, I am not sure how much I actually believe beyond the fact that this guy needs to be stopped." he said as he crossed his arms over his chest. Plus with as thorough as Marina was he was certain they would be able to read up on each other anyway in this files, at least he hoped she had provided at least him with that much. She asked him to put his skills to use for her, he was a healer, and he needed to know just exactly what it was he was healing and who.
This was all made even more uncomfortable at the mention of a Banshee. She was a spirit? How was that even possible? What else was out there that he didn't know about, and what exactly did that make him? Was he an Angel? A man? Or perhaps something more? He had no idea, though he was sure on this little journey he would find out answers to those questions that he would most likely wish had remained unanswered.

Ashleigh stood there, listening, with her arms crossed, taking in every word that she could and looking straight at the whole slide show that was happening soon enough. She listened to a lot of the people speaking and talking about their names and some of who they, or what, they were. She bit her lip slightly when it seemed to be her turn to speak up and she cleared her throat while lowering her arms. 'I'm Ashleigh, but it's also okay to call me Ash, I'm just glad to be here, to do something good with... What I am, or more... What's in me...' She said that last as she looked down and closed her eyes because of the voice in the back of her head getting louder for a moment, like usual when she wanted to come through at least for a moment. 'Oh look at all these pretty little faces, nerds, wannabes, just plane old confused or just stupid, I'm pretty sure just like you none of them have any idea of what you're getting yourselves into, unlike me, who does and is looking forward to seeing all you get in over your head. But I would like to meet this Samael dude...'[/i] Ash shook her head, shaking the voice off and back hidden in the back of her head, being happy none of them heard it hopefully, it was completely not how she saw this. She saw this as a chance for herself to do something good, just Ike she said, and although it looked like kind of a weird bunch at first sight, she was sure there was more to all of them and could be of use.

Talk about controversy. He felt like his head was going to explode, the conflicting perspectives within this room sucked balls. He could sense it all around. Ev's superiority complex, Jayla's worry, Claire feeling uncomfortable, Logan's skepticism and - Ashley's confliction. Okay, he was the one that asked her to join after seeing her kill a demon with ice. Ice - wtf? But he didn't know anything about her but that she likes the right side of the bed, but Cruise's fun little gift to hear every thought in this room, he caught onto hers in particular after she introduced herself. It was weird, like two people talking in her head at one. One of them was Ashley, but another was dark. Cruise could feel it as he looked at her confused. He decided to introduce himself. "Hey gah's, Ah'm Cruise and Ah'm a Seba Mau. Think o'f Catwomen wit' a dick". He said bluntly as he looked around the room. "Ah' will be helpin' y'all with tha' combat s'de to this whole sha'bang. How ta' use a weapon, 'nd how to not die". He said with a smile as he then looked back to Mari, seeing if she was to continue at all.

Picking up on the emotions in the room made her head hurt but she smiled the best she could, “Okay well introductions are a good start. My name is Marina. I’m also called Mari by my friends but only my cousin gets to call me Pook or Pookie cause he’s family. Any of the rest of you try it and I’ll fire feedback into your individual headset so fast you’ll think you’re watching Poltergeist.” She said this with a smile but there was a slight warning there. “And yes, Everette, I am well aware this is a situation that is dangerous and life threatening BUT a little humor helps make the situation more palatable, so turn that frown upside down, Mr. You don’t gotta be all Marvin the martian. You’re sitting near a woman you love how unhappy could you be?"
She stepped out from the podium, “I’m a cupid. I help people fall in love and stay in love when possible. I’m an empath, which means I pick up on the emotions of others. I can heal the souls of others and heal mental trauma. I also speak with the dead and try to heal them of their trauma so they can pass on to the other side. I can sense love in others and see the ties they have to others based on the love they have for them. My gifts are mostly passive in nature however; my empathy tends to warn me of a bad situation in advance. I’ll be coordinating the group from the home base mostly, though I will be going out from time to time to try and convince Samael that patricide is a bad thing.”
She looked over at Logan, “Logan, you will find a tablet in front of you with everything you need as well as a doctor’s bag with the latest triage kit available. You have a full medical bay and lab on the manor here.” She turned to the group at large, “While each person has the breakdown of their teammates abilities Logan has your medical history. If there are gaps within it, be sure to tell him. He will be our medic and if you have allergies you must let him know.”
She looked out over the group, “Ladies and gentlemen this is Sinclaire Manor. For the time being my father has entrusted it to me. I have taken the liberty of installing a medical bay, laboratory, dorms and a computer lab for me to contact you as well as access the databases that are needed. It wasn’t that hard to do given that most of those things were present and just needed to be upgraded. Over the coming months we will have a practice gym, and whatever else happens to tickle your fancy. You have key cards to access the wing of the house that you need. The others are in lock down while being renovated and updated for our needs. My father rather likes being alive so it’s likely he’s not coming back any time soon.”
Glancing at the group she pushed her glasses up on her nose, “As for breakdowns of what we are we have the following, one Seba Mau, one cupid, a banshee, two witches and a demon with cryokenesis as well as a healer. I have one other person to approach about our group but I think we’re pretty settled. The one running the show is of course Michael, the archangel, the right hand of God, otherwise known as the Wrath of God, and the judge of souls. He’s a bit behind the times so try not to mind his clothing choices too much.”

Looking to Jayla, he cast his arm around her when she said it. God she could be cute, and he was always there to be a strong shoulder. "No problem". He said as he listened. At least they agreed with the introduction thing.Talk about eerie. Claire nudged him, which was just like her as he kind of gave her 'the look' before listening to what this Mari had to say. And she was thorough, but she managed to give Ev a little 'word of the wise'. When she said it, he coughed slightly. Okay, Jayla nad him were barely exclusive and he didn't even have to be the first one to drop the 'L' bomb on the relationship. If she was a cupid, then hopefully that didn't just freak Jayla out. "Right, thanks woman!". He said sarcastically directed towards the 'loveness'. He witnessed the introductions from everyone in the room. Jayla who even told what she was, Claire, Logan, Cruise and Ashley. It was a full house! Mari told them, after saying that Logan had information all on them, the details of this place. It was a base of operations, but the dorms were kind of - he didn't know. He lived with three other people, he couldn't just uproot and leave. But we will see what happens. "When do we start training?". Training, no. But anyway he could at least help a bit. Him and Claire were two of the most powerful witches in this country, on this planet even. It wasn't like they were unprepared.

Claire just rolled with her eyes for a few seconds when she saw Ev just giving her 'the look" before looking back in front of him again when she had nudged him, she just hoped that he would remember the name so she wouldn't have to nudge him again. She cocked her head to the side to look next at her, first at Ev and then at Jayla when she heard what Mari had said about her being a Cupid and the reaction that came from Ev to it, which made her chuckle softly for a moment. 'Oh it appears that someone has forgotten to mention something to me before we came here.' Claire said softly and a bit teasing to both Ev and Jayla too actually. She looked back in front of her too then but her eyes went to the girl that had said that she was just happy to be here, who was now watching Cruise a bit, but she was here to focus, and the question that Ev was actually a pretty good one. Even though Ev and here were so powerful now, it didn't mean that to be working with all these people together, they couldn't really use the training after all. 'I think that's a good question, I'm ready to get started doing something, and what about those codenames? And are we going to be mostly paired up to a particular person or something?' A few curious questions simply came rolling off Claire's lips when they came to mind now that she had the chance too anyway.

Jayla listened to what was told by the others and looked at Logan for a moment. "I'm sure it will be a good thing to have a medic with us, I'm sure looking at everyone we'll need your help plenty of times." She sighed as she heard what Logan said about the guy they were after, as she wasn't sure either, if it was such a good thing to go after him. But then again, there should be plenty of reasons they needed to go after this guy. If he wasn't that important, she was sure he wouldn't even be worth mentioning. For at least what she had heard and actually was able to store up in her mind.
Jayla chuckled at Cruise's words and the way he spoke, but otherwise kept quiet. She liked the way he spoke, even if she had to listen to his words more properly to understand them fully. "I have a lively imaagination, Cruise. So what you just said about Catwoman is actually an image I can see in my mind. Including the leather catsuit." She said, teasingly, without feeling the need to reply to what he said about not dying. She felt a blush creep onto her cheeks, as she heard what that woman.. Marina said about her and Everette and looked at Everette next to her, for a moment. "I'd like to start training to whenever we can." She then said, looking around, as she felt kind of uncomfortable. She wasn't even 100% there yet, allowing herself to fully be in love.. Not that it wasn't already happening to her. "Codenames?"

Looking around the room, alot of them seemed to be completely unphased by what she was throwing out there. Logan however was baffled that none of this seemed to be a big deal to anyone as far as he could tell. It was either that or they did a much better job than him at hiding their skepticism. If this person was suppose to be so bad that he took all of this to stop him, what made her think they even stood a chance? Did it really even matter if they did or not? Someone had to try, that was always what he told himself. Win or lose, someone has to make a stand for what's right, and hope that others are inspired by their courage.
Taking the tablet, he gave Marina a brief nod of the head as he held on to it. It was one of the only things in the room he truly knew, felt anchored to. It kept him from opening his mouth and asking a series of demoralizing questions. "Or what is known about their abilities.." he said quietly under his breath. His own powers seemed to be a mystery to him, people would figure out soon enough he could heal, but was that really all? Ever since that day at the hospital he felt like something inside of him was changing, into what he couldn't sure of though.
"Just one question; if this guy is so strong that you need a team, how exactly do you intend to take him down?" he asked. He figured he might as well be the one to be vocal about his thoughts, they couldn't be his alone. Though the guy next to her seemed to be oozing confidence in himself, something he thought might spell out all sorts of trouble down the line. Of course he had a list the size of this house, what with the mention of angels truly existing, but there wasn't enough time for her to address them all.
"So this Michael guy, where is he? Should he be present if he is the one calling all of the shots?" he asked, looking around to make sure he hadn't missed someone. "A bit odd to be late or not show up to your own party." he said, before looking to Jayla and laughing a bit. "I also mirror her question, codenames? This is about to get ridiculous isn't it..?"

Michael suddenly appeared behind everyone, crouching silently on the very edge of a wooden chair. A normal being, even one of supernatural origin, would have fallen prey to gravity from leaning so far from the edge, but there was a sort of angelic grace that kept that from happening with Michael. Silently, he listened to Logan speak and by the end of it, Michael felt that silence was no longer needed, and he should alert everyone of his presence, even though Mari knew that Michael was standing behind everyone, who was oblivious to the Seraphim's presence. “Apologies,” he said aloud, breaking the silence that had followed Logan's question, “I was receiving revelation from God about things to come.” Michael stood, somehow stepping from the chair with a sort of supernatural grace that was some resemblance of hovering in a way.”[/color] As he touched the floor at last, he appeared suddenly beside Mari next. “Thank you Mari, that will be all for now.” He placed a gentle hand upon her shoulder, where he left his mark and then looked towards the rest of the group. He did not look the part of an angel however, he took to heart Mari's advice on fitting in with others. He looked upon everyone in the room, and even took notice of the demon within the room as well, feeling a sort of unnerving presence about her. Why would Mari allow such an abomination join amongst them was beyond him. She had a great capability to turn against them all, but Michael was not one to judge...well, at least on earth. “In truth however, I am not an Archangel,” he explained, “contrary to what your bibles may say about me, I am in truth, a Seraphim, the highest, and oldest order of angels.” Michael slowly removed his jacket and instantly, six white wings with illuminating golden highlights within the feathers, erupted from Michael's back, revealing the ultimate truth about what stood before them.
