A fight breaks out between the forces of good and Axel, with the brothers being in possession of the dragon scale after luring Axel into a trap. Possessed Axel is confused by his powers not being effective and he actually draws blood, startling him as they reveal the dragon scale which makes him nervous. He continues fighting them, however Everette begins casting a spell to bring his essence out of the body and destroy it, the dragon scale actualy helping this to happen. Once the essence is removed, Axel's lifeless body collapses to the floor.
