The thread where Eli confronts Ariel at her offices and presents her with the dragon scale she bargained him for in exchange for the body disappearing. She informs Eli that something huge is erupting in not only Los Angeles, but in other places as well as a ripple effect of the portal being opened and Farra escaping into Los Angeles. Eli questions why she wanted the dragon scale in the first place, and she merely answered that she had her reasons.
