Shane’s bare back leaned against the cool metal of the cage his one arm outstretched next to him resting on the bar in front of the cage. His other hand held a cigarette which he pressed between his lips every now and again as he stared over at his two opponents. One was rather large, had fists of fire that he repeatedly was showing off by thrusting into the air. The other a very nicely figured woman who apparently had cat like abilities. He couldn’t help but grin at how very confident they looked. He knew that whichever one he ended up beating down the most would be no problem in the end. He’d probably win the match for the both of them. Oh yes, both of them. Shane’s eyes moved from his opponents to the woman he was stuck with tonight. He’d never seen her before in his life. He wasn’t sure if she was knew, or she just didn’t participate in the festivities on the nights that he did. Either way, he wasn’t going to let her get in his way. Even if she was very attractive and hard for him to keep his eyes off of, he hated working with people. Back in his dimension he did what he had to because regardless of how good his relationship was with Mal in the beginning, Mal would still have him killed if things were not done his way. Besides, what could this chick do? Oh right, the announcer said something about super strength and fairy juice? He couldn’t remember, and she wasn’t his opponent, so he wasn’t planning on really caring too much. She’d find out real quick that Shane was not someone who would drop everything to save a damsel in distress, so she was just going to have to sort things out on her own.
The lights dimmed, the bell rang, and the announcer stepped off the stage. It was game time. Shane flicked the cigarette and let the smoke out slowly making sure to enjoy ever last bit. It was a good thing that this place was all about showing off. Each match was always a bit dim for creatures that looked bad ass in less lighted areas. Luckily for him, it was just dark enough where he wouldn’t have to worry about the light giving him a disadvantage when he did transform. At first he was a bit hesitant to transform in front of all these other demons. He wanted to keep his demon under wraps, but transforming ad participating got him more money. He couldn’t do much in his human form. He was able to fight obviously, and he could get his wings to extent out from his back, but that was about it. So, if he were to win any fights it would have to be in baccrum form anyways. He hadn’t gotten much attention from other fighters or viewers, so it seemed okay thus far. Although Bloodlust was a very low-key place anyways. It was hidden from the rest of the world because it was specifically a demon bar/club. And what perfect place to host the cage fights? Underground right beneath a hidden demon hangout.
((((OOC: Okay I could totally see Lana having to save his ass during the fight at some point. I think that would be hilarious! Hahahaha or he would save hers at some point. Even though he tells himself he wouldn’t save her, he would. He just tends to deny it lol.)))))

What the hell was she doing?! She could already here Bobby, Dayan and Xzavier's voice in her head. What the hell Lana? Seriously sis, this is dangerous! Fairy or not, get your ass home! Screw you guys, she was going to do this. It wasn't without reason because this fairy didn't exactly get her jollies off of fighting in underground cages. She was researching in a way. Okay, it was more like personal research. Fairies are mysterious and powerful entities from the decendents of the moon with amazing powers. And ever since she healed herself at school she had been so confused on really how powerful was she. The rest of the fairies were dead, there are only a few left. She had no one to talk to. All she knew now was that she was stronger then most of her family, she can glisten anywhere she wants and not to mention now able to heal herself. What else was she capable of? It was time to test it.
So there she stood, in a white high cut singlet shirt, black leather pants and heals. She wasn't a harmless looking fairy right now, she was looking like a nervous Charlie's Angel. She couldn't count how many times she gulped but it was a fair few. Looking a head of her, she looked at the opponents. The girl on the right had some kind of Catwoman complex, but she could already recognize her. She was a Faux Bast, demons from Egypt and he was a - well, let's just call him a hot head then. Both stood strong and confident while she kind of looked like a pouty little bunny. She let out a breath as she accepted her fate of either being a kitty cat's bitch or burnt at the stake, until she looked beside him. In the darkness, he looked mysterious. The dim light made the smoke from the cigarette clearly hover in the air as she noticed that within that darkness, his eyes were on her. As Lana looked back, she stared too. It wasn't intentional but she was kind of - interested somehow. Even though she was scared, looking at him didn't help her but it just - distracted her. She just didn't know if it was good or not. "H - Hey". Nervous much?
The bell rang, and the opponents stepped up. She hadn't even decided which one she would take, but step forward to. It was kind of to try and show that she wasn't scared, but that would be a lie. She went to step back, but the forward opponents were friggin' maniacs. The guy looked at her, and had eyes for her. Were attractive people supposed to just be targetted here? "Okay, MINE!". She exclaimed as she charged forwards. He smirked, completely expecting a charge. It was always funny the dicipation of a smile after a girl is showing to be more unpredictable as though. He swung a fiery fist, grunting loud as it swung at her. But Lana jumped, spinning towards him vertically as she glistened in a bright pink light, passing through the guy. He flunked the swing and spun, completely dumbfounded on what she just did. Little did he know that Lana was outside the cage in the ceiling vents, looking down at him for the right time to attack........
...... NOW! Glistening, she appeared above the demon and stomped down on there face. Both heeled boots got his face as the guy staggered backwards, and he felt blood in his mouth but watched Lana flipped onto the ground, landing on her feet. She smirked slightly, that she had actually done it. He charged and swung again, but she blocked it. She sent a upper cut up his face, and punched him straight in the ribs as he lowered to the ground. Girls with strength, the whole city has gone mad right?

What was a girl like that doing here anyways? Her outfit screamed inexperienced. I mean what type of fighter wore heels and tight ass leather to a match? The only way that would make sense was if the chick was actually experienced and….well from the looks of it, this girl was rather anxious about the events of this upcoming match. He’d have to make a few glances over at her and her opponent just for a good chuckle here and there. I mean yeah she was nice to look at but what could she possibly do? He hadn’t come across one girl in this town that could actually kick some serious ass. Even the demon chicks he’d gone up against weren’t much of a challenge. And he was actually fairly surprised when she spoke to him even if it was half stuttered. He wasn’t sure if it was just because she felt that she needed to because they were supposed to be working together or because she wanted to at least connect with the person that would ‘hopefully’ save her ass if something went badly on her end. Shane wasn’t able to respond before their attackers came at them and his team mate did something he definitely wasn’t expecting. She had stepped forward towards them. He was actually impressed at the gesture and even more impressed when she called out that the fire dude was hers which, okay she probably only did anyway because he seemed to be interested in her ass to begin with, but still, points for determination. Shane pushed off the cage and stared ahead at the Cat Woman. ”Okay, guess this one is mine.” He said more to himself than Lana. He knew she probably wouldn’t hear him anyways.
The Cat Woman moved his way stepping into a small piece of light which allowed him to get a good glimpse of her. Her long waves were jet black with splashes of white here and there reminding him so much of a skunk. And her outfit….wow did he hate these type of fighters. Why did they have to dress up in costumes? It really just made him want to beat the shit out of her even more. Even Lana’s get up was better than that. But Lana seemed to be new so she had that excuse on her side, but this girl was well known. When she walked towards him, she threw both her arms down by her sides and long fingernails extended. A very large smirk followed. This was going to be interesting.
Immediately, Cat Woman swung a claw at him, and Shane swifty recoiled. She did it again and he moved yet again. He could tell right off the bat that these claws needed to be the first to go. When she swung at him again, Shane side stepped and grabbed that same arm pulling it the same way she was swinging long enough for him to thrust his knee upward into her side. She grunted as she bent over a bit in reaction to the blow to her ribs. In doing so, Shane took this opportunity to grab the back of her neck and toss her the rest of the way down. She hit the mat face first.
Shane didn’t stop at that at all although he probably should have. When he went to grab the back of her neck to pull her back up, Cat Woman glanced up at him with bright yellow eyes and gave him a hiss pushing his arm away and throwing her other arm forward into a punch. Shane was knocked backward long enough for Cat Woman to jump up onto her feet again. She took his moment of daze to jump up in the air, lift her feet, and thrust both her feet forward into his chest making Shane fall the rest of the way over. He hit the mat hard on his back. He winced as he opened his eyes. He could see Cat Woman leaping into the air to fall on him with her claws. Shane closed his eyes long enough to accumulate enough focus to bring out his baccrum side. A pitch black color spread over his pale white skin like wild fire. His faded white Leemady symbols etched their way onto his now black as night skin. Shane screeched as he quickly sat up and pushed off of the mat and up into the air knocking Cat Woman clear out of her attempt to leap at him with her claws extended. She flew back, her head smacking the mat.
He didn’t stay in mid-air long. Just enough to catch a glimpse over at the fight between Ms. Newbie and her Arnold Schwarzenegger opponent. He caught the fight just in time to see her nowhere in sight and then come out full force stomping onto his face. Hmm, maybe he had misinterpreted how this fight would turn out on her end. Shane landed onto the mat but was too busy being distracted by Lana and her opponent that he didn’t notice that Cat Woman was already waiting for him. When he landed she was there and her 3 inch claws dug at his chest. Right hand, left hand. Right hand left hand. Spin kick. Shane went down yet again his chest dripping in fresh blood. Great, just great. He had promised himself he wouldn’t let his team mate get in his way and what did he do? Let curiosity get the best of him. Why couldn’t he just keep his eyes on his own match with Cat Woman?

If his hands weren't bursting with flames and he wasn't psycho, he would be cute. The bad guy thing seemed to be a curse for her, because it didn't matter what kind of evil it was, she always had a thing for it. So when she lowered him and he used his arms the scoop under her legs, losing her balance and smashing her to the ground, on top of her she kind of found it kinky. Eww Lana! Not being a whore, she gritt her teeth and gripped her hand around his throat. Grunting, she pushed up as the dude was stretched upwards, getting off of her a bit. She then shot her other arm up and punched him across the face, stunning him slightly. With that, she found that she was friggin' flexible and swung her leg up and was able to slid it in between them, and booted this hell-headed hunk off of her as he landed on the mat. Since having to do that sucked, Lana was breathing heavily and laying their for a second before she heard a growl. Thinking 'wtf'. her head shot up as she looked at her partner dude - his name was Shane she thought.
Right now, the sexy shadow guy she saw a few minutes ago was something else. This was a supernatural doom ring for gods sake, what could se expect. They were up against a fire-handed manace and a Selina Kyle complex. How could she not be surprised that sex on legs turned into bat things. But he was down now and the cat chick was clawing the crap out of him. This was team work right? Seeing that the guy was still getting up, Lana shot up and ran towards the cat chick. As soon as she got their, she was by their side and swung a hard kick. It hit her in the face, flicking her off of him as she landed on her back. Looking at him, she knelt down to him to see if he was okay. "Shane, are you okay?". But no, a few words had to be interupted. And with fatal consequences - at least for normal people.
She felt a chunk of her hair being gripped as she was pulled to her feet. This was a total 'cat' fight right now as she was taken off guard, and before she knew it her throat was slashed. Blood dripped of the cat's claws as she gasped, feeling her wind pipe having a large cut within it as she chocked on blood. Then, after let got a hard punch from the dude. Lana was sent across the ring and smashed into the wall of the cage. Blood coming from her throat and her arm twisted the exact wrong way. She laid in a lifeless state - - at least for a few seconds. Pink light radiated from her wounds on her neck as it healed slowly, and she gasped. Light emulated under the skin on her arm as she sat up slowly, wincing in pain as she popped her arm back into place. Groaning and it hurting like a son of a bitch, she finally snapped the bone back into place. Good a new, just stinging a little bit. But standing up, they looked shocked at her. Yeah, that little skill seemed to spook everyone lately. "You just can't knock her down, can ya?". A tad bit cocky but we will let that slide for now.
Looking down to Shane, knowing that the claws would have gone deep, she barely knew what was coming over her. It was like some instinct, and she blamed it on her fairyness - and not her hormones. Moving forwards, a hard kick from the catwoman was sent at her face but Lana had other plans. Dropping to her knees which moving, she slid down and craned back as she completely dodged the kick and ended up next to Shane. Maybe he was some hideous creature right now, but she shot her face towards and kissed him. It was no peck, but a short lasting kiss too. Before she could get into it, she felt something flowing out of her. Pink light came from her mouth in glittering energy that flowed into his mouth, and the wounds on his chest slowly healed. How did she do that? Why did she do that? It was like she just knew, but mission accomplished. It seemed she had the healing kiss then, and then looked into his eyes. Breathless, she looked at him as it everything stopped, but then felt the guy kick her straight in the back in a stomp as the wind escaped her lungs, and she fell on top of Shane. Forward much?

Shane was irritated more than anything. Yeah that freakin’ hurt and he didn’t have healing abilities which was a bit ridiculous. He loved his baccrum form and his skin was a bit harder than most when he transformed, but those nails were like glass slicing into him and boy did he feel it. Shane was just about to attempt a punch to this cat woman’s gut which he knew he’d probably miss because of the searing pain radiating throughout his body from his stomach, but the cat chick was suddenly thrown right off of him from a powerful kick. When the cat woman’s body catapulted a few feet away, her form was replaced by Lana’s, the helpless fairy partner he just a bit ago decided against helping if it had come down to it. He stared at her a bit dazed. Was it funny that this chick had practically just saved him from getting ripped to shreds literally? No, it kind of pissed him off. Here she was making him feel like a damsel in distress. Hell….to the no! But just as he was about to protest, Lana was torn off of him by the hair by the cat woman. Apparently she didn’t want to have to fight over him.
Shane attempted to stand, and he was surprised to find that he couldn’t. Had her nails really gone that deep? Apparently they had. Shit. Suddenly the crowd went wild screaming of joy. When Shane looked back up towards the fight ensuing, things were happening so fast. Suddenly the cat woman threw her claw into the air connecting with Lana’s neck. Blood spurted everywhere, out of the wound that had gone deep into her windpipe and out of her mouth. Shane winced as the fire dude threw a hard punch into her face. Talk about tag teaming someone. Shane felt a tad bit sorry. I mean here this girl was sticking her neck out for him and then what does he do? Take his time trying to help? Maybe that was just his way of making himself feel like more of a bad ass. There was no way he was getting up. He couldn’t move. The slices had gotten to his nerves. He knew that for a fact because his baccrum form was slowly pulling into itself again now revealing just a human looking specimen. Ugh, barf! But the human form issue was the last thing he should have been worrying about.
Out of the corner of his eyes he could see both a slow movement. He glanced towards the hot head and his slutty accomplice. He had been able to sit up just a little bit on his elbows. He watched them as they made their way towards him smirks on their faces. ”Just fabulous, Shane mumbled to himself. But what he also noticed out of the corner of his eye that his two attackers didn’t see was that little Miss Blondie Bear was glowing a fierce pink light. Was that good? Was her soul being taken to her little fairy world? Or was it actually her regenerating herself? He decided to hope for the best. Shane nodded. ”Guys, how about you give me just a few more minutes, eh? I swear that is all it’ll take me. Promise. Just can’t move my body at the moment. How much of a fair fight is that?” He managed a half smirk, but it was hard to even move his facial features. He was surprised he was able to hold himself up on his elbows.
The hothead laughed. ”Yeah I think killing you sounds more enjoyable, don’t you agree?” He glanced over at his cat woman. She tossed her hair over her shoulders and grinned.
Shane chuckled, but the chuckle only came out as a cough. ”Yeah I’d want to kill me too. But you’re missing the fun of it. What’s the point in just killing me and getting it over with right? I mean wouldn’t you rather do some torturing or something?” Shane asked as he tried not to look over at Lana who was now sitting up. All he had to do was hold them off until she was able to get up and continue whooping the ass that he wished he was doing. But it was too late. The screams from the crowd gave away all the surprise. They quickly spun around and headed over to the fairy. His adrenaline had been pumping for a bit now and all he could think of was the action of this fight, but it hadn’t been until now as he watched yet another little tussle ensue between the cat lady, the hothead, and Lana, that he found himself very intrigued by this girl. Not only had she beaten the crap out of two very strong fighters, but she also had been beaten up as well, killed, and revived in a matter of ten minutes. To him, that was pretty intense and important enough to make note of. He was still adjusting to the human world. The craziness of it all. He was seeing things that were a lot more enlightening than the things he’d known for so long in Andromida. Lana was just one of those things.
Shane watched as she dodged another kick from the cat woman and slid across the mat towards Shane. In one swift movement, Lana’s lips were on his which was definitely something Shane was not expecting, but part of him didn’t think Lana was expecting it either. Was this fairy thing new to her? It had to be. As Lana kissed him, he could feel something deep down within him. His whole body began to tingle until all of the tingling centered around just his stomach where the cuts had resided. His eyes shot open, and he saw that pink energy again coming from her mouth into his. Shane lifted his arm realizing now that she was healing him. He gripped the back of her head pulling her towards him more. The nerves in his body were working now, and his lips now played against hers to absorb as much healing as she could give him. As this pink light worked its magic, Shane’s body began to transform again into the baccrum.
Shane let go of her head, and they both pulled away from each other. Shane’s pitch black baccrum eyes stared into hers. Just as Shane suspected, she was quite surprised at the incident that just took place. And Shane was now officially interested in this new being that he had come across. She not only had healed herself, but she was able to heal him. Before he could throw in a comment, the hothead threw a kick at her back, and she fell on top of Shane. Shane didn’t have time to look at his partner because he knew exactly what was coming. The cat woman apparently liked to do her slashing when her assailant was down. Shane quickly rolled across the mat with Lana as the cat woman did exactly what Shane thought she would her claws extended trying to slice at Lana. When they stopped rolling, the baccrum ended up on top of Lana this time. He looked down at her watching her for just a few seconds. God damn, that cat and her damn claws. The hairs in Shane’s ears slowly vibrated letting Shane know that her claw was swinging yet again. Still staring at Lana, Shane threw his arm back catching the cat woman’s. In a quick movement, Shane was off of Lana and standing still holding the arm of the cat. The cat must have been surprised because she didn’t move but just stared at his face. Shane thrust his other hand into her neck gripping it tightly. He slowly lifted her up off her feet still watching her. A grin spread across his face as he moved her closer to his face and opened his mouth letting out a deafening screech. The cat screamed as her eardrums burst and blood poured out of them. Shane chucked her down onto the mat. He knew he hadn’t killed her, but she’d be out for a while, long enough for both Lana and Shane to deal with hothead together.
Shane turned towards Lana reaching a pitch black blue tinted hand out towards her. Shane was never one to work with anyone. He would rather fight on his own with no distractions. And normally he wouldn’t care what happened one way or the other to someone who had saved him, but she was unique….definitely not someone he’d approve of seeing die.

When his hand clutched her head, he brought her in deeper. It was - intense. Like really intense, she had never felt anything like it. A pure pink aura of glistening energy flowed from her mouth to his as she tasted his tongue, and he hand rose and gripped on his wrist, squeezing it. It was taking a fair bit out of her, but then when she was released, she just looked down at him. She felt like she had just had sex for twelve hours straight, she was feeling exhilirated and drained at the same time as she panted and looked at him deeply. But when the kick from the hot head landed in her back, she fell onto him. She was kind of expecting him to throw her off and turn his back on her as the thing from the black lagoon, but no. She saw the catwoman coming at them, claws at the ready. Lana was about to rise, but then something - well - cute happened. It was the last thing she was expecting too; Shane protected her. Clutching her to his chest, he rolled fast but made sure Lana didn't get hurt. Not that it mattered since she was Wolverine with a cheerleading complex, but he helped her. When they stopped, he looked into her eyes as she smiled slightly through harsh breaths and looked back into his pitch black eyes. There was something, something behind them. She wasn't sure what, but hey, what could she know.
His arms shot up and caught the arm of the catwoman, and let go of Lana. Since she was free, even though she was kind of comfortable where she was, she swung her legs up and over her head as she flipped to her feet, her hair whipping as she stood. In front of her, the hot head charged. He swung a punch at Lana and actually got her, a good one two as he punched right across her jaw. She felt a bit of a snap as he head swung to the side, and flames gripped onto her head as he held her cranium cupped in his palm, and slammed it into the cage. She groaned as the thud rang through the cage and Lana dropped to the floor. Brute force did take a lot out of her, but soon light came from the back of her head and repaired her burnt locks, and gripping onto her jaw and with one vigourous movement, she popped her jaw back into place with a suddle snap. Point one for the fairy, and time for busted nuts for the fireman. She swung a punch straight into his groin as he screamed in pain, but she wasn't finished there. Not be a long shot.
"Don't - mess with my hair". She warned as she quickly shot up, swing her head up as she whacked him up the face with the back of her skull. It hurt him a lot more then it hurt her. His head snapped up, green gooey blood coming from his noes. It kind of helped though. Lana wasn't crazy about the 'killing people' thing, but since this showed that he wasn't a person, it would be easier. So as she sent a punch across his face, lowering him to the ground she wrapped her hand around the back of his head, and yanked as hard as she could. After the crack, he dropped. That was the first time she had broken a neck before, and the dude dropped to the ground. She had won! A smirk kind of crossed her face, and then as she went to turn back to the Shane she rose an eyebrow, seeing if he needed this cute little fairy to jump in or not.

Shane watched as Lana rolled out of the position she had been in and went after the hot head on her own. That was fine with Shane. She was determined about killing that guy, and Shane would be too. He was very large and just….too bulky to keep around. Shane turned back at where he had left the cat girl. He might as well kill her and get it over with now. But when he looked back, she was not there at all. All that was left was the two streaks of blood from her ears. Shit. Well this was just great. He lost her.
It didn’t take too long for Shane to find out exactly where she had been hiding. Shane had been on guard for quite a while with his hearing tonight. He wanted to make sure he could catch every little thing to make sure he would have the upper hand. Luckily, he was able to catch the sound of cage above him snapping as if someone had let it go and was falling down towards him. Shane dodged out of the way quickly ducking into a roll which ended with him standing him and spinning around to face her. Sure enough, it was the cat woman who was now crouched down on the mat glaring up at him. She hissed at him and lunged extending her claws. It was too late for Shane to do anything to stop her. Her front claws dug into his shoulders, and her feet landed on his chest clinging to him. Shane stumbled but didn’t fall backward as he winced feeling the claws bury themselves into his shoulders. The cat woman grinned and kicked off of Shane pulling her claws back into her hand and flying backward off of him. The force of her legs knocked him backward into the cage. Shane growled as he pushed off the cage, the blood from his shoulders dripping down his arms and chest. ”You really shouldn’t have done that.” He said as he walked towards her. ”Oh that’s right. You can’t hear me.” Shane gripped her swinging claws and bent them back all the way making them break off with a sickening crack. The cat screamed in agony as her nails were literally ripped from her hands. Shane didn’t pause at all as he moved the tip of his left wing forward thrusting it through her stomach and up into her heart. The cat woman gurgled as blood oozed from her mouth as her eyes stared into his. ”Don’t count on having any more lives after this.” Shane told her as his dark bluish skin shrunk in on itself revealing his pale human skin yet again. His wing yanked out of the woman and moved back into his back disappearing. Her lifeless body fell to the mat.
Shane could hear the crowd screaming, and he winced slightly at the noise. Lana must have taken care of her assailant too if they were screaming this loud. Shane glanced over her way, and there he was, the hothead lying on the mat as well. He glanced at her as the host came down onto the mat with them. “And here it is humans and demons! The winners!” The man grabbed Lana’s arm and lifted it up to congratulate her and allow for the audience to make more noise. He dropped it and moved towards Shane to lift his arm up. Shane only gave him an annoyed look and the host chuckled nervously stepping away. He better get a pretty penny for this fight. He would have been dead if it wasn’t for the fairy which kind of irritated him even if she did save his ass. Normally he wouldn’t care what other people thought, but getting saved by a blonde girl who was clearly new to the ring wasn’t the best thing for a demon to have to endure. Not to mention the make-out scene. Even if she was “unique” there were just some things you didn’t do in front of a bunch of people. That being one of them. He knew he’d probably have to hear quite a lot about that later on. There was one thing for certain, if he had to fight her in the future, he would probably need to cheat to win.

From the other side of the cage she looked across at the Shane. She breathed heavily, blonde strands tinted by dry blood stuck to her neck and shoulder as she looked at him. It was over, and as the crowd went wild, Lana didn't know what to do. What was her purpose of being here again? To find her limits, what she could do? She should feel good about actually finding it out, she could heal others too. But she wasn't. A strict hand gripped her arm and hurled it up to declare her a champion, but she didn't smile. She just felt disgusted as she looked down at the floor again, at the body of the guy on the ground. As the crowd continued to rawr, she looked down at the other opponent. The catwoman, that really didn't mind trying to kill Lana. But as Lana looked at the body, she didn't feel strong like she won a battle. She just felt scared, and evil, and disgusted at what she had done that night. As the speaker glorified her, she looked down and felt a tear fall down her face, and found her eyes trailing up as she looked at Shane.
She wasn't bawling, but that stray tear fell. She was like them - she was like Shane. A heartless monster, because if he looked at her it wouldn't be compassion or some kind of empathy, it would be the look of a careless demon. After the speaker did his part, the gates at the back of the chain opened as Lana was the first to walk out of their. Her heals pounded on the floor as she shot down the hall towards the change room, and didn't really know what to do. As she got to her bags, she should have stopped to change. But riping out her hooded jacket from her bag, she didn't want for anything as she got out of their as soon as she could, wiping her eye with her forearm, and it dampened her hand, but she shook it off. She was stupid. She used this as an excuse to find out more about herself, but all she found out about herself is that their is not limit to her stupidity.
---------------
50. 100. 150. 200. 250 - . It kept coming, not that it mattered. Some loose strands were in her face, but her hair was at least out of her eyes now. The bar was creepy and full of undead things. She saw warlord, a shapeshifter, a vampire or two and a demon. But she just kept her back turned as she counted the money. She didn't know why, but she didn't want to go home yet. The boys were probably out, but she still just wanted to sit and count before going home. After what she did, she had might as well hang out at a demon bar right now. A coke sat in front of her as she sipped on it for a second through the straw, and put it back on the counter. "Good job Fairy, didn't think you had it in ya". A vampire said as she glanced over her shoulder at him, him leaving with a smirk alongside his friends. Kill them? Maybe some other night though. Kicking ass had been the theme of the night, but she was definitely up for a die down right now and sniffled slightly as she looked at her phone. 1:45 pm and half a thousand dollars in her pocket, might as well call it a night now. But then, she felt something. She wasn't sure what it was, like some kind of sight as she looked behind her, over her shoulder and once again - minus the wings - saw him.

That was some fight. Some fight that he’d be feeling for quite a few days that was for sure. A few gashes, cuts, and bruises were nothing compared to being dead, so he wasn’t complaining. Tonight’s fight was pretty interesting though. He’d gone up against two opponents he’d never fought before. Well two species he’d never fought before. There was no such thing as fighting the same people over again here at Bloodlust because you’d either have killed them the first time you fought them or they killed you. Although you did occasionally work with the same person in tag team fights, which was the one Shane had participated in tonight. And his leading lady? Some bad ass fairy chick who apparently had something other than fragile wings and fairy dust to work with. He knew she had been new to the Bloodlust Cage Fights. Not only had he never worked with her before, but he’d never seen her around these parts either. So, she was either just a chick looking for a death wish and didn’t find it, a chick who really needed some money, or someone who was just trying to figure out her abilities and decided taking risks was the best way to do so. Oh yeah, he was pretty sure it was the third choice there judging by the surprised look on her face when she realized that she could heal someone. She didn’t seem to know that she could do something like that. It looked like Shane was the lucky one to be her genuine pig. But regardless of what normally happened in the fights whether he had minor injuries or very intense ones, he was always pretty juiced afterwards. His adrenaline was pumping, and he wasn’t nearly done with the night.
Shane headed up the stairs leading back towards the bar. He never really brought a change of clothes or anything from the fight. He still had the dark blue jeans he had on when he first came to Bloodlust earlier in the night, and he had pulled back on his black v-neck t-shirt. He figured it was pointless to change after a fight. I mean it wasn’t like Bloodlust had showers or anything for their fighters, so what was the point? Shane pulled the pack of cigarettes out of his back pocket and flipped open the package pulling out one lone cigarette to light and put between his lips. For someone who’s major weakness was fire, he sure smoked a lot of cigarettes. It was a habit he had picked up once he came to Earth. Cigarettes were not heard of in his dimension which he thought was quite a shame. His species was definitely living sheltered lives.
Shane held his cigarette between his lips as he slipped the package back into his back pocket reaching the main floor. The bar was full tonight which was to be expected after a fight like that. He made his way to the bar ignoring a few comments that had to be about the idea that he got help from Lana during the fight. Speaking of Lana, he could see the fairy counting her money over at the bar up on one of the bar stools with occasional audience members coming by to pat her on the back and probably tell her how great she did. Shane shook his head and chuckled to himself as he kept heading that way towards the bar. As he did, Lana looked over her shoulder at him. He made eye contact with her for a few moments long enough to see that she had been crying. Why would she be crying? She had just won an epic battle between a seba mau and a fire caster. What was depressing about that? Not a damn thing as far as Shane was concerned. When he reached the bar he leaned against it and waited for the waitress. When she saw that he had come up to the counter, he nodded at her to come over to him. Shane reached up letting his cigarette rest between his index finger and pointer finger as he took it out of his mouth and exhaled letting smoke haze a small portion of the area in front of him. ”Jack and Coke, please.” The waitress nodded and walked away leaving Shane only but three bar stool seats away from Lana. He glanced over her way, her money sitting on the counter in front of her. ”So do you plan on buying yourself a drink with your money or are you just going to look at it?” He asked with a smirk taking as he took another hit of his cigarette.

When she heard his voice, she didn't look at him. Or she at least hesitated. Could she talk to him, like you would to an actual person. Would it even make sense to him - these wacky things that people call feelings that lurch inside people. Could he comprehend how she was feeling? Then she realized that she had to stop looking at everything so grey. Sure, right now as she gazed over at him he was a cute guy smoking a cigarette and having a drink at a bar, but half an hour ago he was a black demon thing that she was kissing. He wasn't human, not matter how hard she tried to see past it. It was the same with Gabriel, she had feelings for him and now he is gone. The kids at school harvest demon powers to get girls, and she lets it go. She is naive, and pathetic, and as bad as him right now. The only thing different - was that she knew what she did was wrong, and selfish. With Shane - it wasn't hard to see that this was just another night for him.
"Cola, $3.50. I'm only seventeen you know". She said, not looking at him but taking a sip. But she lowered the glass, turned to him and sighed. This could be a fun. She was sick for thinking it, but she had just killed a fire starter with her bare hands tonight, why couldn't she go all out. When you think of it, Ev killed a mugger, Axel killed a dude and now she had killed a gifted guy - much like herself. Xzavier had to catch up. But getting off her seat, she moved towards him and stood next to him. Reaching over, she grabbed the packet of smokes in his back pocket and pulled one out before resting them on the bar. Sparking up, she took in a draw before sitting on the stool and letting it out. Are you surprised!? No, Lana isn't a full time smoker. But whenever the Detroit Fairies would go out to a bonfire her and the girls would go halves in a packet of darts for the night. She could take it - but in hell she would ever take it up. "But what the hell". She said as she took another drawer, and ashed in the ash tray.
Looking at him as she rested her elbow on the bar and looked at him in the face, she bit her lip. How far could she go in conversation with a demon? With Gab, it was smooth lines and pretty lockets, but with Shane she wasn't sure. He was no demon of love, more like the demon of vampires stereotypes. "He was a fire-starter you know. The guy I killed - not a demon. Even the Faux Bast you fought, she had claws but she also had a fiance who went home wifeless tonight". She just had to say it, and she took another drag before looked down at the floor slightly. She sounded - petty. She hadn't been complaining when they were tearing her up and trying to kill her, they weren't complaining when the F.B's claws were dripping with blood. "Kinda makes 500 bucks look pretty small, huh? Since we took two lives tonight". Maybe it was a way to try and appeal to some kind of conscience this guy might have buckled up inside that cute head of hair there. Maybe she was just being hopeful, and trying to make herself feel better because she felt something and he didn't. Either way, she drank her drink and smoked her smoke breaching the personal bubble of Shane Grimzik's

Even with Shane’s words towards Lana, it was taking her forever to respond. She seemed a bit lost in thought at the moment, This was a normal routine for him. He’d fight and then come back up to the bar to have a few drinks. If he happened to decide to talk to someone or flirt with someone, well, he let it happen. No biggie. He never remembered himself being this bored and lost when he was back in Andromida. But that made sense. He was always busy with his lord doing what he asked whenever he asked. It was annoying but at least it was something. And if he wasn’t torturing or bribing someone for Mal, he was spending time with Lena. Just the thought of her made Shane lose track of what he was doing completely. It had been so long since he’d seen her. 87 years to be exact. But that didn’t matter. He would never forget her no matter how long it had been. Those blue eyes that changed so frequently to green depending on her mood flashed into his mind, and he was able to get a clear picture of what she looked like once again. He couldn’t wait for the day where he’d actually be able to really see her again instead of these images that would pop into his head out of nowhere. He wondered if she had changed at all. Wondered what Mal had done to her while he had been away. What was happening to her at this very second.
Finally Lana’s voice chimed in interrupting his thoughts completely. Shane glanced at her and cleared his throat pulling himself out of his daydream and focusing on what was just said to him. He was actually surprised by her age. She did not look at all 17. She was way too....mature. Shane chuckled. ”Oh come on, don’t even play like you haven’t tried sneaking a drink at one point in your very young life. Besides, this is a demon bar with cage fighting as its entertainment. I’m pretty sure you are the least of their worries with the cops.” As he finished his statement, the bartender walked up setting his drink in front of him. ”Thanks,” he said as he picked it up and took a swig. He smiled and pushed it towards her. ”Alcohol is totally good for the soul, I swear it. And you my dear are probably the only person in here with one, so you might as well drink up.” Shane kept his eyes on her as she stood up and moved closer to him. He thought for sure she’d go for the drink, but she didn’t. Instead she reached into his back pocket and pulled out his pack of cigarettes. She took one out and lit it up right in front of him inhaling deeply. Surprisingly, she could take it. As she sat down into the stool closer to him, she was watching him as if searching for something. He had no idea what she was looking for, but she was nice to look at, so keeping his eyes locked on hers wasn’t a problem at all for him. And then she opened her mouth, and he knew right then that this wasn’t going to turn out as he had hoped. Lana began to talk about the fire starter who’s neck she snapped during the fight and then continued with a few words about the faux bast he had stabbed with his wing. She then proceeded to ask him a very simple question. Well, to him it was rather simple. Was she looking to see if he shared her sympathy? Because if that was what she was after, she wasn’t going to get it at all. Shane looked away from her taking his glass back from where he had moved it in front of her and downed the rest of it. He pushed the glass forward a bit so the bartender would know he was done and then leaned on the counter. ”I’d say the 500 dollars was worth it. I mean to be honest risking your life and all, it probably should have been a bit more than that.” He returned his gaze to hers. ”When they came in here, they knew exactly what they were in for. Just like everyone else in this bar. We come in, do our thing, get our money, and then leave thankful that we weren’t the ones to die tonight. So yeah, I’d say that 500 dollars is pretty damn big still if you ask me….” he smirked ”….which you did.” He knew that she probably wouldn’t be happy with his answer, but what was he supposed to say? If he wanted to get in her pants, there were a number of things he could say, but sizing him up like this really was a turn off more than anything. Although she was attractive, and the pink hair was definitely cute. Maybe the conversation would take a turn for the better, but as things were looking, Shane may be a bit bored tonight.

She had to smirk. Okay, she did realize that she just snapped some dudes neck but it wasn't like she was a loose canon. She did know how to have fun, or at least she used too, but she never really snuck into bar and go alcohol. She rose an eyebrow, and smiled but then looked at the alcohol. Could she? She had explored her powers, and she could regenerate anything. Her attempt of decapitating herself, when she decided to stick a screw driver in an electric socket and not to mention when she went all out and gouged her own eye out, and a new one appeared. If it wasn't for one of Ev's temporary blocks, she wouldn't have been able to get her hair cut. But as she looked at the alcohol, she realized. It so wouldn't work. Tissue regeneration probably covered everything, heart, lungs and kidney. So this smoke wasn't killing her, and that meant that the alcohol wouldn't effect her. A downer, she knew this. Atleast she could enjoy the taste and stuff, but besides that, no. "No, I don't think so. I mean, there were pep rally bonfires at the beach where I had a few beers but not really. Kind of more tame than wild, besides, when you and grow back eyeballs the whole liver regeneration makes beers just a tasty relaxant. I can't get drunk". She sighed. And she wasn't even legal yet and she would not be able to get completely hammered, fml right?
This was the moment or truth, the moment that would give her a clear mind. It was conflict with the Evans where Ev has a kind of open minded view towards the supernatural, he is kinda dating a banshee for shit's sake! But Xzavier, he had a much more darker view. Demon meant bad, and that they are heartless. Lana was able to open up to a demon before, and be attacked by several demons in a row. So she was kind of neutral on the thought, well for now at least. She looked at him, taking a drag of her smoke as she waited in anticipation. More? The 500 was definitely enough for taking someone's life, and she was about to get defensive "Yeah, but -". but she was cut off. Even though it conflicted with everything she knew and understood, everything that she believed in and perceived. But she respected it, his view. It wasn't her fault, it was a too the death and they knew what they were doing. Lana looked from down to up at him, looking into his eyes. They knew what they were getting themselves into, and so did she. At this moment, right now. "I can respect that, and you -". She said, but then had something else on her mind right now. This little fairy was thinking anything but pure thoughts.
"- I respect you, but right now, I really wouldn't mind, being disrespected". She said as she stood off of the stool, putting the cigarette out in the ashtray. She would be lying if she said he wasn't hot, and up against the bar like that it was just an invitation. This wasn't like her, but she took it as this. Tonight she had killed for money in a disgusting cage alongside a demon. She wasn't herself tonight, so maybe for just a few more hours, she could act even more out of character. A hand touched his chest, her fingers trailing down as she bit her lip. "And what about you? What do you want?". She said with a sly smile as she teased him, her lips brushing against his lips. One small peck, as she leaned in again and his lips tickled against his again, before going in. A hand ran up and around the back of his neck, bring him in stronger as she kissed him deeper, her other hands touching down his body. It was dangerous, she knew this. But what can't a girl do when she is indestructible?

Shane chuckled and shook his head when Lana mentioned that it was basically pointless to drink alcohol because well she would just regenerate anything the alcohol would destroy. "Wow, that is rather depressing actually." Shane shrugged grabbing his glass and downing the rest of it slamming the glass back on the counter when finished. "More for me then."
Shane was sure that after expressing his view on the whole situation that took place in the cage, Lana would probably punch him and stomp off throwing a few "hater" words towards him, and he was completely fine with that. It wasn't like it hadn't happened before, although not very often. But what he expected was the farthest thing from what actually happened. Not only did she say that she could respect what he said and he himself, which was surprising enough, but she also proceeded to insinuate that she wanted him in particular to disrespect her.
Shane did not remove his gaze from Lana's as he could feel her hand press against his chest and trail downwards. And as she leaned in towards him, her lips barely brushing against his, he could feel and hear her words calling to him through his entire body. But before he could even answer her question, she was already pressing her lips against his with quite a lot of force. He could feel her hand dancing along the front of his body while her other hand gripped the back of his neck pulling him in to the kiss. Shane reacted on instinct wrapping his arms around her and pressing her body against his. He didn't waste any time at all as he began to slide his hands up the front of her top the warmth of her skin exciting his, but he paused before reaching his destination. Oh right. They were up against the counter of a demon bar. Shane pulled away slowly glancing at the growing amount of spectators. "I'm thinking I want to get out of this bar....and disrespect you" he smirked.
