Veronica Sanchez: Earlier this evening we announced Marco Dapper will be joining the cast for the second half of the season. But since the start of the season, there has been rumors circling of a new major player joining the second season, well we could finally confirm that the role has been cast, after multiple auditions it was down to Dena Kaplan, Danyelle Harris and Dilshad Vadsaria and in the end Danyelle Harris got cast as this mysterious Farra, not much is being told as show creators are being pretty tight lipped about it all, she is said to be debuting pretty soon on screen.
Veronica Sanchez: In other new character news, yes we recently heard some favorites were leaving but we did see multiple new characters debut on screen in Brother Trinity’s last 2 episodes. Leighton Meesters finally made her on screen appearance as Raygan a socialite who loves to party.
Veronica Sanchez: We also saw some new guys show up in last weeks episodes. Austin Butler debuted as the shy but loveable Liam Retli, Chad Michael Murray made his debut as ShaneGrimzik the mysterious demon who has some connection to Cassie, and Sam Witwer as Samael Sinclaire, so it should be no mystery where his involvement will be.
Veronica Sanchez: But that’s not all who is joining the cast, the young Lachlan Buchannan joined the cast as Jordan Van der Berg, though from last nights episode, we could see he always has some mystery to him, though his character was announced as a relative of Mike Munich’s character Noah Vandervoort.
Veronica Lastly joining the cast this season is Tyler Hoechlin who is the dangerously sexy Kale Ward, a werewolf who certainly scared the skirt off of me. Either way these new characters will all be carried onto season 3 we heard. Though how much of an impact they will make is yet to be known.
Veronica Sanchez: There are rumors that two more characters may be joining the show by Season’s end. One might be joining the Marina drama, though again much of the character have yet to be revealed as well as plans on expanding the show. There is a whole lot of buz going into season 3, you can expect a crazy season 2 for sure. Which includes Masquerades and a very dangerous game of Cat and Mouse with Eli, either way the second half of Season 2 is sure going to be a treat.
Veronica Sanchez: Speaking of treats, we also saw the return of three Brother Trinity favorites last week. We saw the return of our favorite detective Mike Corbet as Russel Lawrence guest starred in the 11th episode of the season, last we saw him was in the 5th episode of the Season. Two characters who has major involvement with Selena also made a return, after the revelation of his mother, Grant Gustin made a return as Thayer where he met up with new comer Liam, Lucy Lawless also made a return for a guest starring appearance as Ariel Dawson, this was her third appearance this season, she was last seen in the 3rd episode of the season. With his recent promotion, we will be seeing more of Thayer, while the roles of both Ariel and Mike are still unknown.
