STRENGTHS

• Telepathic- For as back as the line can be traced, Vampires in Stepanka's line have had telepathy. She continued the trait, however, she has infinite more control then most vampires today, capable of using her trait to bend the minds of weak minded humans, witches, and Werewolves.
  
• Strength- The amount of blood pumping through her veins after just under a thousand years, Stephanka has developed her strength beyond what most Vampires are capable of until they reach her age.
  
• Leadership mind- Stepanka was turned by an Elder herself and trained under him and helped her understand what she was doing later in life. Because of her age she has held numerous leadership postitions amongst the Vampire clans, giving her practice about what she'd learned from her sire. At the same time, Stepanka was once the daughter of a land owner of the former Russian Government, and learned power and control of lay people in a governmental personage.
  
• A "Go Get 'Em" Attitude- Considering a life spent in leadership positions, Stepanka is naturally a problem solver and rarely waits to be told to do something if she finds it needs doing.
  
• Empathic- While not empathic in the supernatural sense, Stepanka is capable of putting herself in almost anyone else's shoes because her age has given her an experience for almost everything. She's lost her homeland time and time again, she's been both the lowest Vampire in the coven and the highest ranked and can honestly and sincerely relate to almost everyone. This leads her to a no-nonsense, "Golden Rule" lifestyle, treating everyone how she'd want to be treated, and expecting the same from others.

WEAKNESSES

• Sunlight- Stepanka is a vampire, so naturally has a weakness to the sun.
  
• Vanity/Jelousness- Cursed with the nobels "keeping up with the Jones'" Stepanka is capable of just as great Vanity as Empathy. It's a toss up between what she's thinking when it comes to complementing someone, or making a comment on something that she wants. Despite that, never doubt her Sincerity, when she say's something's wonderful or awful, she truly believes it to be so.
  
• Wary- Stepanka's home was terrorized by Evil Witches and Werewolves, now she suspects anyone who is not a vampire or human to abuse her friends or family. She really makes sure that someone doesn't have extra intentions against her.
  
• Obsessive- Stepanka is an extreme mono-tasker. She only does one task at a time until it is done, and it takes a small disaster to make her put down a task or event once she's picked it up.
  
• Tunnel Vision- Stepanka only sees the task that she's doing. Often times talking to her when she's on a task gives off strange comments and reactions. Once when Ai was talking to her while they were making dinner, and Ai asked her what they were having and received a random cheese grater in response.

LIKES

• Cooking- To Stepanka, creating a plate of beautiful colors and smells is equivalent to creating a great painting. Since she knows her faults about obsessiveness, actually painting is probably not a good Idea.
  
• Flirting- Stepanka is an awful flirt. She will flirt with anything in a skirt, and often times, even with men if she thinks it will get her what she wants.
  
• Winning- She loves to win. She takes any sort of competition very seriously, and always moves to win.
  
• Technology- Stepanka grew up hearing stories about the old Roman Empire and the Turkish Empire, while she was still much younger, Stepanka heard the stories. She loves working with technology, learning how to best the best who would challenge her current residence.
  
• Being on top- Stepanka loves being on top of the situation in every from. She like being in charge of people, in charge of events, in tall buildings to look down, and other more... Unmentionable positions.

DISLIKES

• The Long Way- Give her the sweet simple version, don't elaborate more then it takes to tell her what she wants to hear. If she wants more, then she'll ask for more. The same thing goes for travel. If you catch her at a tourist trap it's because she needs to use their facilities.
  
• Extremely High Temperatures- She grew up in Russian, moved to Germany, then Scandinavia, over to Britain before coming to New York, where she travels up to Toronto ever June through August. Catch a pattern?
  
• Men- After a life of Patriarchal societies, where her "divine love" with other women was constantly cut short because they were expected to marry men that they barely knew. Now she only hits on men, and lets them have more then a look, when there's something for her in the deal.
  
• Naive Hunters- People like how the Brother's are perceived by the Vampire kind really irk Stepanka. She hates People who hunt Vampires because they suspect that they're killing people. She's seen too much of Vigilantism over the centuries. She would rather have people keep it legal.
  
• Being "Stepped-on"- Stepanka does not take kindly to people belittling her and putting her down. If she preceives that someone is going to or has "stepped-on" her in some fashion, she quickly goes on the offensive to become more violent.

HISTORY

In 1012 a couple of land owners in Rus gave birth to a beautiful daughter. The Blonde beauty was brilliant, quick and soft spoken. She was a prime catch, but everything her father picked a match for her Stepanka would throw a fit and Scream at her father. One evening when she was in her early twenties one of her father's execs and a fellow land owner caught her making out with one of the serf's daughters. Stepanka was busted, but he only laughed and asked her if she'd like to see a day far in the future, when things would have changed beyond much farther then she ever thought.

Stepanka jumped on the choice, and two months later she was married to her sire, who took her to the far side of Rus, where he educated her, telling her that in Rome, women had more then they did now. The more she lived with him, the more she learned. Till the day she realized he was grooming her for his life in the shadows. The year she turned she began training under the Elder himself. Her early education suddenly became important, but now she was learning Vice. How to use her sex for all the things that she could ever want. Then, when the Industrial Revolution was spreading across Europe, a vigilante hunter killed her Sire, at the time the oldest Vampire on record.

Ever since, Stepanka has done what she needed to survive, enjoying that the only man that she ever let use her wasn't lying about changes. In 1955 Stepanka moved to America after the fall of the Eastern Block, looking for another place to live. There she met Ai, and found her gril to turn. She has moved to California, despite the heat, when she heard how incompetent both the Vampire Elder in the area was and the lead hunters, she decided to brave the heat to come set things right.

CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT

What you would like to do with her is okay... I'd like to see her stay a on-again off-again love interest with Ai. I would like to see someone who can play a mature non-putzy character. Stepanka is not like most of the other characters on this board. She's older then any other character as far as I've seen, and I want her to act like it.
