STRENGTHS
[/BLOCKQUOTE]
POWERFUL, Damien Peirce owns one of the largest architectural design companies in the world, making Raygan daddy’s little princess. Ever since her early years she viewed her father enlisting orders upon others and never receiving them himself. This intrigued Ray to no end and she vowed to mimic his actions, which wasn’t very difficult with currency. She can be considered an extreme control freak if one wishes to go as far as to call her that. It is safe to say that she probably wouldn’t appreciate it however.
APPEALING, Raygan has always had the Peirce looks, and she has always used them as an advantage in her lifestyle. If it weren’t for those oh so friendly boys in high school that helped her on her with her daily work, she probably wouldn’t be going to college right now. Ray knows she is attractive, and she will play with that fact, taking it as far as she can go with it, using her flirtatious ways with it. She learned at an early age that most men think with one part of their body and that isn’t the brain.
INTIMIDATION, Though Raygan isn’t on the ‘large and in charge’, side of life, she can be highly intimidating. She has always had this demeanor to her stating that she is better than you, and that she is much farther up on the social food chain. This tends to put people off due to the fact that she isn’t afraid to place her silver tongue to use. Plus she has her father and his workers to back her up. Her mother always called her a conniving little brat, over the years she has upgraded. Raygan has a reputation among her high school classmates and long-standing acquaintances; mess with the queen, you get the cavalry.
AMBITIOUS, It doesn’t always seem like it, but Raygan has always been a very determined being. Once she gets something in that little mind of hers, she has to go through with it. Usually, with the luck she has (or the money), it all works out. There are those rare times where everything doesn’t happen just as her controlling self wants it to, and it destroys her. This girl has her ambitions and if anything or anyone gets in the way of them, she will more than likely purchase a bull dozer.
FRIENDSHIP, Though Raygan isn’t really the best at making friends due to her certain personality, she is amazing at keeping them. Friendship is one thing that Raygan feels highly about. She isn’t big on trust, but she can keep a secret if it isn’t hers to spread. She will protect those she considers her friends to the end, and defend them like they are her family. Well, not necessarily her family considering she hates them. But she will keep her friends for a long time because, well, she is a pretty damn good one.
WEAKNESSES
[/BLOCKQUOTE]
TRUST, Raygan was raised to never place her trust into anyone but herself. Having a lawyer and a business man in the family, should help you understand why this is a big trait of hers. Not trusting anyone has put a serious strain on Raygan’s life. Without trust, relationships can be difficult. All relationships including, business, friendly, intimate etc. At the same time, however, this characteristic can also be considered a strength at certain occurrences in her life. In her eyes, she can’t be hurt if she doesn’t trust.
OBLIVIOUS, Born and raised in Chicago, yet knows nothing about the supernatural. Raygan is completely unaware of the paranormal world. Though she knows that certain strange things happen in Chicago, she just deems them as unexplainable. This could be considered a severe weakness. Though she isn’t one to be walking the woods at night, considering she despises nature, she still will be vulnerable.
ARACHNOPHOBIA, When Raygan was young, her parents bought her little brother a tarantula. What happened after that is probably a given. One day the tarantula escaped from its cage, and just happened to find its way into Raygan’s room. That night she was roused by a creeping sensation on her stomach. She has never been able to even think about arachnids to this day. Let’s just say when she see’s something crawling, she is out of there in five seconds flat.
FAMILY, She never had an abusive parent, or one that went into a fit of drinking rage after another died, Raygan just has…Damien and Laura Peirce. Both of her parents were workaholics when she was younger so they weren’t really around much. Raygan see’s family as just people providing a place to stay and food to eat, and money to spend of course. This puts a huge damper on her relationships. She has never moved past the ‘meeting the parents’ stage. Family is just a soft point in Raygan’s life, that she would prefer to keep under wraps.
OVERABUNDANT, When Raygan was younger, she watched her father fire his own brother from the company. Her uncle lost everything, trying to save himself from debt overload. Watching this all occur Raygan promised herself that she would never let that happen. This has turned her into a bit of a hoarder. She is an extremely materialistic person and will never get rid of anything. Her theory is, that if her father can do it to his own brother, he would have no problem doing it to his daughter, even if it is his little princess. You can never be too safe.
LIKES
[/BLOCKQUOTE]
FASHION, If there is one thing that this girl loves it is fashion. She adores all the different varieties, and how easy it is for something to become ‘the new thing’, or ‘so last season’. This fascination hit her in her young years and it has stayed with her ever since. Raygan can tell the difference between knock off and the real thing just by a glance. She is currently working on her own clothing line and has already been presented in a few shows.
METAL, Strange, yes, she has always thought so too. Raygan looks like the exact opposite of a person that would even consider listening to screamo music, but she does! It has been her favorite type of music since she was a teenager. Emmure, and Bring Me The Horizon would have to be her absolute favorites. This isn’t really something she will admit. However, if you get in her vehicle, you can be quite sure that this is what will be playing for the whole ride.
FOOD, If it’s edible, it has Raygan’s name on it. There is absolutely nothing food wise that this girl wouldn’t try. She loves food. The normal three meals a day really doesn’t apply to her. She is constantly munching throughout the day. If you want to get Raygan’s attention, food is definitely the way to do it. She will be your best friend if you know how to cook. Good thing she has a fast metabolism!
NIGHT RUNNING, Raygan really isn’t big into hardcore workout exercises, but she loves running. Preferably night running due to the fact that she really doesn’t enjoy people staring at her. Also, she enjoys being alone when she is on her runs, and if she goes in the morning, everyone else is out and about. It was one thing that she could do when she was younger to get away from her home without her parents being suspicious of her whereabouts. Just a habit that stuck with her over the years.
CLUBBING, This girl is a bit of a lush when it comes to drinking and partying. Raygan came across alcohol when she was a freshman in high school. It is safe to say that she very much enjoyed this little run in with the drink and has been frequently using it ever since. She would never admit to this though, that would just show vulnerability in her control and she really can’t have that. Also, any party that is going on anywhere, odds are, Raygan will be the first at the door. Or maybe a fashionably late entrance for her would suffice.
DISLIKES

EMOTION, If there is one thing that Raygan absolutely refuses to do, it is showing emotion. It isn’t that she hates it, it just plays into the trust issue. People can hurt you if they know how you feel. Plus she has never liked how people will use emotion for attention. Raygan refuses to be one of those people and would simply rather hide her emotion. It has worked for her since she was younger, so why stop now?
BAD HYGIENE, So this is more of a phobia for Raygan, she despises bad hygiene. Growing up Raygan was never really one to jump head first into a puddle of mud. She was more of a cleanly prissy. Time has definitely not changed that. It has gotten to the point that if someone has even the slightest hint of bad hygiene, she will inform them of it in a not so subtle way, and simply walk away. She considers it helping them, and the people around them!
WAITING, Raygan is a highly impatient person. She feels that no one should keep her waiting. Of course this goes with her big headedness, but still. She gets extremely antsy and will refuse to sit still. Having this trait isn’t always a good thing. She believes that being on time is key to a good impression, and a good beginning to any form of relationship. You keep her waiting, she takes you off of whatever possible list you wanted to be on in her book.
FEET, Feet don’t work with Raygan. She cannot stand feet. Believe it or not they sort of frighten her. This fear never really sprung out of a traumatic event, or a funny experience. It just, grew over time. Raygan doesn’t even like her own feet. About the only thing she will do with them is wash them and put socks on. She leaves the pedicures and nail paintings to the workers at the nail place. Just a thought of those five toed, tendony, rough things sends chills through her spine.
NATURE, This girl right here is probably the biggest city girl you will ever meet. She cannot stand nature. Though she enjoys her daily running outside, she doesn’t like doing very much else outdoors. Outside there are bugs, wild animals, and just dirtiness at every turn. Being in the city just makes her feel at home and very comfortable. Out in the wilderness, she is completely out of her comfort zone.
HISTORY
[/BLOCKQUOTE]
Raygan Nicole Peirce was born on June 26, 1992 to Damien and Laura Peirce. The popularity hit her right there when she was born. Damien was a high up businessman and Laura was a pricey defense lawyer. Either way you go, Raygan definitely had it made when it came to money. Though growing up both of her parents were extremely busy with their own lives to even acknowledge Raygan. This really didn’t bother her very much, she was perfectly content with her sitter, Tara, raising her. As long as her parents provided her the money she needed to buy the things she wanted, they would be the perfect parents in her book. Her brother was born when she was two years old, both Damien and Laura treated him the same way, just gave him money whenever he wanted. Raygan and him had the best relationship for siblings. When Tara fell asleep they would always sneak into the kitchen and find something sweet to snack on in their homemade tent in their room.
Growing up, Raygan had everything. She had the recognition of being a Peirce, the money, the looks. It all came to her pretty easily. High school went by with a breeze. She was on the cheer squad, won prom queen, top 20 in her class (only because she basically cheated her way through); the classic princess. Her freshman year she started dating a junior. Basically the perfect guy for a girl her age. On his way to becoming the captain of the football team, rich, popular, she thought she had it all. They were dating for almost three months before she decided to ‘give it up’ to him. Turns out that that is all he really wanted. Raygan didn’t let this bother her, she buried it all and said ‘fuck you,’ basically granting her the most popular freshman award. It was during her senior year when she finally started working on her own future.
Fashion design became Raygan’s calling. She had always had that love for it, but once to the point where everyone was asking what she wanted to do with her life, she knew for sure. One bat of her eyelashes to her parents and she was headed for success in this route. She bought all the supplies she needed, turned one of the guest bedrooms into a work place for herself, and started it all! After graduation, her interest just peaked even more. She decided to go to college for her hobby, wanting to learn everything she needed to be successful in the fashion industry. Most of the clothes she wears is either designer, or her own. She has already been recognized in a few fashion shows and magazines. She is hoping that after college, Ray’s design will become much more famous. Raygan now lives at the local college, and is attending as a sophomore!
CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
Well Raygan is completely oblivious to the existence of supernatural entities. I am seeing her getting involved with someone that is not entirely human, and eventually finding out about the supernatural world. She is very close minded about certain things and this will definitely flip her mind. I think she will refuse to believe any of it at first, simply because she despises things that she can’t control, but will eventually realize that she has to accept that the world isn’t utterly normal as she thought it was.[/BLOCKQUOTE]

Five Years | None
Raygan raised the fragile cup of coffee to her coated pink lips. She lightly blew on the steaming drink, cooling it before she took a long sip. Her deep brown eyes held a bright green pair a distance away at the other end of the Café. The man looked about her age, with short cropped black layers, and an old school varsity jacket on. He was probably one of those I’m-never-leaving-my-high-school-behind-because-that’s-all-I-am guys. Placing the cup back on the coaster the waitress had provided for her, she let her lips form into a shy smile. She had done this multiple times, and knew he would love it. Her daring gaze flickered back to his and he returned the smile.
“Anything else I can get you ma’am?” Raygan looked up to see her waitress standing a little too close with the notepad ready in her hands. The worker’s hair was pulled back, but it didn’t stop the uncontrollable ginger kinks from spewing from the messy bun. Raygan couldn’t help but stare at the millions of freckles specked over the young girl’s cheeks and nose, which brought her eyes to a red blemish right between her matching blue eyes-which happened to be avoiding her own piercing pair. She didn’t even bother to look at the name tag clipped to the right side of the girl’s uniform. She could care less what the chick’s name was.
“A slice of cherry pie will do, drench it in whip cream.” She let a wide smile filled with sparkling white teeth spread across her face. A friendly gesture that she knew would make the less fortunate girl feel insecure.
The waitress evaded all eye contact with Raygan; she wrote the order down in her notepad and mumbled something that sounded like, “Thank you,” before walking back to the kitchen.
A patterned vibrating came from Raygan’s platinum silver Sienna Ricci bag. She reached down and picked out her matching silver bedazzled IPhone. A soft sigh escaped her lips at the site of the sender. She tossed her phone onto the table letting it make an obnoxious noise, before resting her elbows in front of the device, and dropping her face into her palms. She wasn’t ready to return to the college; and she really didn’t want to deal with her roommate.
The bell at the entrance of the Café rang, at the same time the little waitress set the plate down beside Raygan’s arm. She lifted her head and looked up towards the door. A short stocky man walked in who looked about 50. His bald head glimmered underneath the fluorescent lights in the Café.
“I won’t need that anymore.” Raygan rose from the cheap plastic of the booth she had been residing in for an hour. She reached down and slipped her arm through the straps of her purse before reaching into one of the side pockets and pulling out a five. She tossed it on the table, picked up her phone, and casually prodded the girls arm to move her out of the way. Quickly turning to face the table, she picked up the silver fork and stabbed the pie before slipping the sweet delicacy into her mouth. There was no way she would leave without taking a bite of that. She straightened up and covered her mouth as she chewed up the dessert, and headed for the exit.
Once Raygan reached the doorway, she gave the older man a curt smile before he moved away to find a seat. Raygan put her phone into the back pocket of her favorite Buckle jeans missing completely. She heard it clatter against the tile floor breaking the silence of the small shop. Her head fell back in frustration letting the loose brunette waves tumble over her shoulders down her spine. She turned and crouched, picking up the battery that had fallen from the back of the device. A new hand came into view reaching for her phone itself at the same time she was about to. Tossing her head to the side to remove the hair from out of her eyes, she looked up and saw the guy that she had been “eye flirting” with.
“Hi.” His voice was deep, and it seemed nice enough. Raygan stood and crossed her arms over her chest. She would have talked to this man earlier, but now she had lost all incentive to try. Holding out her hand, she opened her palm for him to give her, her phone. Realizing that he wasn’t going to get a reply he set the IPhone neatly in the palm of her hand. Raygan curled her fingers around the device and turned exiting the Café, more irritated then when she had entered.
