They were no match. They had nothing. They could do nothing, but run. Ev had to admit, it wasn't hard. Actually it was really easy, and as they ran down the alleyway like ants he just lined himself up to step on them. Vampires really were nothing, and he was devilishly walking down the alley watching them run. Only an hour ago, Ev had agreed with his conscience that he should stop doing magic all the time. Over the passed year, he had gone from casting a flame to blowing people up and murdering civilians. And not to mention almost turning his brother into a grilled cheese sandwich. But his conscience swept away when he decided to go on a patrol of the alleys for fanged-freaks, and he had found them. So now, they ran down the alley with Ev close behind. They launched towards civilised areas so Ev decided to make things a bit more discoursed for the vamps.
A hand rose, and he smiled as he glared towards them. "Cadria, raise a wall!". In front of the vampires, an invisible field wavered into reality, and when they hit it the field launched them all backwards and onto the ground. Ev continued moving, smirking at the vamps. Disgusting freaks! Ev walked slowly towards them as they recovered and rose, their attention brought back to the witch moving towards them. Ev looked around at them, wondering which one of them had to the balls to attack. At this point, it was kind of like caging castrated lions. Finally with fangs bared, one of them charged towards Ev. He couldn't help but chuckle as the vampire pounced towards him, diving at Ev. Raising a hand, he concentrated and suspended the vampire in mid air. The vampire's burst of courage seemed to motivate the less smarter vamps as one came at him.
Charging, Ev barely noticed it in time as the vamp charged towards him. Keeping focus on the hovering vampire, he shot a snap kick at the face of the oncoming vampire. They were stunned, staggering only for a second before wanting to come back for me. Persistant wasn't he? Looking to a crate by his side, it shot at the vampire's face and smashed over its head, sending it to the ground. But telekinesis was definitely limited as another vamp jumped at him. He was able to send the vampire in the air and it smashed into the wall and was left on the ground, but a foot flicked and kicked Ev in the face. His head whipped to the side as he crashed into the wall. And the hunter becomes the hunted. Irony shot through the situation as he looked back and a vampire gripped his head and kneed him in the face, tossing him like it was nothing. Maybe that is why it is 'Trinity Brothers'. Because when it is one, it is just a mess.

Jayla had been walking around, distancing herself from the awkward position she had gotten herself into when the love spell was at work. She had kissed the one guy who had been there for her, when she woke up in that abandoned apartment and she had heard the stories about there being a banshee running freely. No kidding, everyone was talking about her, as if she was a freak, a monster. And it hurt like hell. So, she tried to stop caring, although as of now, that hadn't worked very well. If it had worked at all, that's to say. When she saw something happening in the corner of her eye, she stopped walking and turned slowly. What was going on there?
When she saw what was happening, she realized she was looking at vampires. She had never met a vampire before, all the while her best friend was a witch. No, not the insulting word, really, a witch. Okay, so this were vampires.. Was there anything useful she could do, instead of feeling like a sitting dog - eh duck. Slowly she made her way to the vampires, feeling the want to help, even though she had no idea what in the world she would be able to do. It was still better than doing nothing at all, she decided.

Feeling completely dazed and bruising appearing on his cheek, he looked up. Three very hungry vampires, one very distracted witch and not to mention; some blonde girl. She was cute, small, petite and innocent. Emphasis on the cute by the by. But she was basically vampire bait, there was nothing stopping them from wanting to eat her all up until their was nothing left. But she was coming up, like she had some secret weapon she was going to pull out any second. It better be a freakin' rocket launcher or something otherwise they could nicely die together. The vamp that made him it's bitch looked to the blonde girl, but must have been having way too much fun with Ev because it looked from the girl back to him, licked its lips while dancing its tongue across pointed fangs and moved towards him. Ev was kind of worried, but was focused on the demons chest. If there was a heart, he would be able to see it beating. He was so intuned and gazed upon the vampire's being, until he blinked. The vampire went up in flames, large licking locks shooting into the sky as Ev rose.
"Hey! Get out of here!". Not to sound controlling or cruel, but this situation was seriously messed up and he couldn't let her get hurt. Story of his life at the moment, when wasn't Ev having a messed up moment right? He looked to the girl, and needed her to go but it seemed like the perfect distraction. A strong and cold arm wrapped around his neck from behind, a vampire straddling him as Ev clutched at the arm but couldn't break its grip. Fuck sake, why was this all happening now. He gasped for air and to help the girl, but couldn't. This wasn't fair on him, or her. She didn't do anything wrong, and he could see the last vampire moving towards her. If he hurts he, Ev would peal off his skin and blow it away as it turn to ash. Ev ripped at the vampire's arm, unable to do anything really. He tried to think of some spell or some use of solo magic. But the witch that killed three men at the same time, whose magic opened a portal to hell and whose magic he depended on all the time, he wasn't looking so hot right now.
"Cadria! Hear my plea and to the devil's children, make them pay. Take the pain of the world, and weight it on the-". And what an A+ spell it was, too bad it was interrupted. The vampire swung Ev, being able to grip him and toss him at the wall. Shoulder on, Ev smashed into the bricks of the alley wall. He hit and slid down to a halt, feeling a graze appear on his ribs as he tried to recover. Strong son of a bitch it was! But he was down right now, and who could protect this girl. If she did have a secret weapon, here and now would be the perfect time to bring it out.

Jayla wasn't going anywhere, as she felt the want to go and help intensify even more. She wanted to help kill those vampires, even though her mind was racing to try and find a good and proper solution on how to help well. It wasn't like she had a rocket launcher up her sleeve and she couldn't command her banshee powers to just come bursting out. Besides that she was inwardly freaking out, she found the guy she had spotted really good-looking and well, that wasn't helping her much.
As the vampire went up in flames, Jayla gasped and took a step back, as she looked at the biy and shook her head. "No way, no, I'm not going anywhere." She said stubbornly. Those vampires knew how to fight and truth be told, it went a little bit faster than expected with the whole fight, with her still figuring out a plan. Well, she had a plan, but she wasn't sure how much it would affect that guy.
After the failed spell, she realized she didn't have much time and ran up to the vampires, giving him a kick in the back. "Come on, you've had your fun, really stupid to rule me out." She saw the vampire look at her and she took a step backward again. She felt the vampire kick her in the stomach, making her wince, before she kicked him again and avoided his next attack with ease. "I think I have a plan, but you'd better cover you're ears." She said, looking at the boy, before shivering at the sight of the vampire's fangs.

It wasn't everyday that innocent and blonde swept in to save the day. Tonight was something indeed then, because this cute little minx was sweeping in and making Ev the damsel in distress. He looked at her as she attacked, Ev busy gritting his teeth and trying to pull the constricting arm from around his neck. He gritted his teeth and sent a hard low elbow behind him, hitting the vampire in the ribs as it growled in pain. Ev did it again, hitting the same spot as he stared forwards. He couldn't do anything, but he was getting angry. A coat of darkness cast over his eyes for just a second as a burst of blue energy came from him, hitting the vampire and deflecting the beast far backwards. It wasn't hard, once again magic was being accessed with Ev really easily now days. Turning, he saw the vampire slide down the wall, looking at it with an exhausted smirk.
"Hey, abiding simple instructions goes a long way Blonde One!". Turning towards the girl, he moved towards her quickly as the vampire rose and charged towards him. Ev could hear him and turned, swinging a hard backhand towards the vampire but it duct and Ev looked like a fool. It rose and a fist smashed over his face. The bitter taste of crimson flooded through his mouth as he felt a pain in his jaw. Son of a - PUNCH! Ev punched the vampire across the face, secondly delivering a hard stomp into the vampire's stomach. A stake would be awesome right now, and the vamp spun and kicked Ev across the face. The witch was spun, dazedly spinning and his face smashed into the brick wall. A cut on his head and a dazed expression, he fell to the ground as the vamp looked at him. Reading the vampire, he could see it. The expansion of the nostrils, tasting the air. It could smell it, and could taste the magic in his blood. The vampire shot towards him, snarling like an animal as he looked at the vamp, worriedly and hopeless.

Jayla couldn't help but smile at idiocy of the situation. Instead of him saving her, she was busy saving him, sounded like a hero-becomes-damsel-in-distress situation, and she found it kind of funny. Well, not the kind of funny, where she stood laughing and forgot she was attacked by vampires, which on its own, wasn't very easy to do. Those vampire creatures seemed deadset to get what they wanted whatever that was anyway and however most demons and magical creatures thought this way, it still wasn't something she completely liked. Well, who was she fooling? She didn't like it at all. She kept attacking the vampires coming from her, sending low and high blows wherever she found the oppurtunity, as she looked at the guy now and again, too. She saw the magic coming from the guy and was slightly mesmerized with it, was he a witch, perhaps? He seemed strong, well, stronger than Jace anyhow, that much she could feel, even without the power of sensing.
"Jayla." She said, to the boy, with a smirk, hoping that he got the hint that this was her name. She saw him moving towards her and kept her eyes, on the vampires, feeling the want to just kill them, rise up in her veins. She saw the fight unfold in front of her and narrowed her eyes slightly, as she lowered her arms, waiting for the right moment to attack and actually be able to do something, other than stand here and watch, like she was such a fool. At least she felt like a fool. When the boy ended on the floor, she figured that was the right moment. "And you'd better listen to those easy instructions if you want to get out of here in one piece by today." She said, about him covering his eyes.

If the bared fangs weren't enough, her instructions did. But why? Covering his ears, what was she going to do? Scream at them? The last time he covered his ears was the sex noises coming from Xzavier's bedroom, but in a life-or-death situation, it would have to be Selena's scream. Searing energy from sound, smashing over him and making his eardrums want to burst. But was she like - a banshee or something. The supernatural never ceased to surprise him. Well seriously there have been Incubi, werewolves, vampires, fairies, psychics, demons and witches and now there was banshees. So when she demanded him to cover his ears, he wasn't going to say no. "Okay then - Just wait a second". Now feeling somehow motivated since this chick was probably going to scream this alleyway to the ground, Ev took action against this very vicious vamp coming his way.
As it got near him, he rose to his knees and awaited it to come closer. Once it was, Ev grunted and hoped slightly, flicking his feet out from underneath him and sweeping out the vampire's feet. It fell quickly as Ev watched his face hit the ground, rebounding as the rest of its body fell. As it went to rise, Ev swung another foot and booted the creature across the face again, causing him to spin on his knees. Once he stopped, he looked to - um - Jayla again and nodded. "Do it!". Chucking his hands onto his ears, he closed his eyes slightly in worry and trying to prepare for what was coming. He just faced her, but who knows, if it does get too intense, he could always try magic. But looking behind him, he saw the vampire rise again along with the other one, not to mention another vampire falling from up high and landing on the ground, ready to get in on the action. She had better scream her little heart out now!

OC: Thanks! Just tell me if i need to change anything.
Jayla wondered what the hell was going through his mind at a moment like this, where her instructions were fairly clear. If he really was as magical as she assumed him to be, whether he was a witch or whatever else there was in the magical community, then he must have heard about banshees. Not that it was all that smart to reveal herself, to be one, she knew she didn't have much of a choice, either. So, she had to get herself into gear and scream them out of this place.. almost literally, too!
When he agreed to covering his ears, she was almost.. relieved. It took him long enough, too. "Right about now, waiting is pretty much all that I'm doing, just hurry up." She said, as she was feeling impatient with almost every passing moment. When he came into action, she bit her lip, as she prepared herself, for those vampire's ears to burst. When she ultimately heard the guy say that she should do it, she nodded and looked at the vampires, as her eyes almost gleamed with the knowlegde and.. almost happiness of what would happen.
So, she opened her mouth and screamed. Sound waves shot through the air and through the alleyway, making the vampires fall to their knees in agony and pain. She kept screaming however, as she knew she couldn't stop now. There was no time. She glanced at the boy, praying she wasn't hurting him. She kept her waves directed at the vampires, but with how they were falling and acting up, she didn't have a choice, but to direct it into several directions. Then the vampires were gone and so were her screams. Exhausted, she leant onto the wall and looked at the boy, with a small smile. They were gone.

Here it comes. Ev's hands were firmly cuffed around his ears, and it was stupid to think that it would be enough. He just acted on instinct he guessed because when it started, something took over. Waves of pure sound energy ran over him, flicking him backwards. In constant waves, the power hit him. He flipped backwards but then, something did take over. It was like another side of him, purely on magic instinct and power. He stopped, landing onto his feet as his hands shot out in front of him. He had to fight against the waves, whatever means possible as the vampire's were blasted away. Ev channeled the magic, and began to force against the waves. Blue energy flooded through his hands, cacooning around his body as he fought against the waves attacking him and protected himself. He held it, grunting in strain as he closed his eyes tight and pushed against it.
Then suddenly, the energy turned red. It glowed bright and dark as Ev opened his eyes, and they were pitch black. This was a large strain, and reminded him of the night. He had the power, it was his. All he had to do was use it. Removing one hand, he protected himself with one as she held a hand behind him. He used the force of the sound waves to carry the energy as red energy mixed in. As it hit the vampires, they exploded into ash as the others got away. Finally, it stopped as Ev lowered his hands. Emitions of red energy drained into his palms as he blinked, his eyes returning to normal. What the hell? Ev had blacked out just then, it wasn't him doing those thing. It was - exhilirating. He looked behind him at the ashes scattered across the alley, and then down at the circular marks he had busted into the ground. How - creepy. Looking to the city as she leant against the wall, he walked over towards her slowly. "I must say, A+ on that. The last time I heard a scream like that it wasn't as effective. And also, not so loud". He yelled at her, his ears not yet adjusting because they were ringing. This girl was definitely a screamer. "Banshee?!?".

Jayla knew that what was happening, as the power of her scream lashed around her, must be hurting the guy, she hoped she would protect. But whatever the blue energy was, she saw coming off him, it meant that he wasn’t completely protected against it. How could he anyways? Normally this power killed, not just hurt, it killed. And she hated that aspect of her power because whenever she would be herself again, she’d have to see what she had done. But, now.. now was a whole different story. These were vampires.. evil. And it wasn’t a bad thing at all to want to kill them.
When the vampires turned to ash, she felt dizzy and completely out of it. Almost disoriented. She looked at the boy, that gave her a somewhat compliment and smiled weakly. ”Thanks.. I guess.” She half-yelled back, waiting for his ears to readjust. When he asked if she was a Banshee, she couldn’t do anything else but nod, but take a step back as well. What would he do, now that he knew what she was.

He gave her a smile as he gave himself a vicious scratch to the inner ear. Oww! Suddenly he realized how much he did not miss Selena after hearing it from this girls lungs. Because damn, it was no canary tune. It was seering and he didn't want to complain; she rocked this alleyway. It was actually amazing really, and he just gave her a friendly smile to enforce that. He had definitely seen weirder things, like really, his first favorite pet wasn't a puppy or a gerbil, it was a Phoenix that tries to turn him into a hunk-sized birthday candle whenever he went to feed it. Not to mention turning a few of his journalism assessments into ash. The fun times of CW definitely. But when he saw her step back in worry, he couldn't help but feel bad. She wasn't a freak or a monster, and Ev didn't want her to think that. Hell, she just saved his life. So when she stepped back, he shook his head while saying "No". to show her that.
"Don't worry, I've seen weirder things believe me. I'm one of them'. He smirked, his ears slightly ringing but adjusted to his own voice now. He put his arm against the wall and his head against his arm, exhaling in exhaustion as he shut his eyes tight. Those spells had severely given him the king of all headaches and he flinched in pain as he tried to relax. But then he decided to not look like a baby in front of the cute ones and turned back to look at her, running a hand through his hair as he did. She really was cute. Like the kind of innocence and power that he found himself fond of. Believe him, he kind of had a crush on Jace for a second before they treated each other more like brother and sister then anything else. But there was something about her that he just couldn't put his finger on. He already knew she was a banshee and she probably already figured out his is a witch, so there was no need to break that embarrasing news to each other. But right now, especially right now, he just wanted to play nice. "I'm Everette by the way, Everette Evans. It's nice to meet you - well, over a vampire gang". He smiled as he held his hand out for her to take.

Jayla saw his smiled and relaxed a bit, still not knowing what to think, or more importantly.. What he thought. When he shook his head and said, no, she looked at him. Did he mean that? She bit her lip slowly and looked at the ash for a moment, before smiling, and walking closer again. "Well, those vampires are dead, that's what counts, right?" She asked, slowly feeling more cheerful again. It wasn't hard at all to figure out he was a witch, because yeah, if you knew Jace, not many witches would really come off as a surprise.
And him kind of accepting it, even though, it came off as a surprise, even though it surely wasn't a bad one, not at all. He looked handsome and that he wasn't freaking out, just added to the fact that she found herself attracted to him, right here. Wen he introduced himself, she was surprised, but shook his hand anyhow. "Jayla Pearson and yeah, it is, though next time we should meet up in a friendlier environment, don't you think?"[/color] She asked teasingly, as she found herself relaxing more. She then just decided to take a chance and ask him, about his name. "Evans, you'd say? Are you family of Axel?"

He nodded in approval. He couldn't shake this feeling that she hadn't really encountered any vampires before, which is strange since they are in LA and - well - she's a banshee. But it didn't bother him, she handled it well non the less. Looking back with her at the ashes, he realized that in this situation, they trusted each other. She didn't even know his name, and they pulled off an awesome power combo. A witch and a banshee working together; who would have thought. Looking back to her, he put on a cute smile and looked at her. "Yeah, I guess so". He nodded as he then parted from the wall, looking out into the alley for anything else. The alley was trashed, but nothing that a little glamour couldn't fix. Raising his hand, he focused as a wisp of magic cast over the area, creating the illusion that nothing went down. It seemed that everything in Ev's life was an illusion now days.
What she said next made him raise an eyebrow. Call him an oversighter, but what she said sounded like - a date. Again? She wasn't intending to leave and forget about the studly witch she met in the alleyway? Hmm, he decided to tease the idea. "Again? You planning on seeing me again?". He smiled cheesily as he took her hand as she shook. Asd a witch, he was used to reading energies. But what he felt from Jayla was different. A cheerful spirit, strong and sacred. The kind of girl mom would be happy for him to take him. Well, that is if he had a mom. They slowly moved towards the exit of the alley, and he glanced at the people passing. If only they knew what just went down here. When she asked about Axel, he smirked. He was his brother. Well, kinda. It was a bit of a weird situation. Did they call each other brother's yet? So he just nodded, and listened to his own words. "Yeah.... He's - my brother". It actually sounded okay, and he smirked as he thought to himself.

She liked him, that much was clear, although it would have been so much nicer if she had met him when there weren't vampires around, or where she didn't immediately have to show him just exactly what she was. It was true, she had never seen a vampire in her life and now she knew exactly why that was. If she hadn't met them up until now, she would have been perfectly fine with that, and with that also came that she hoped she didn't have to encounter them again, although she got a feeling that was a hope she would have to safe for someone who actually cared. Yeah, if she didn't meet a vampire in the near future, it would be rare.. Really. But, she had trusted Everett well enough to defeat them right here, anyhow. Not that she exactly had another choice. When he smiled at her, the way he did, she couldn't help but smile and nod, before she raised her eyebrows at what he did. "Wow. Nice."
When he asked her if she planned on seeing him again, she laughed. "That was the plan." She said, teasingly. Jayla had already decided that she wanted to see him again, kind of at the same moment she had decided that she liked him. She walked toward the exit with him and looked at him. "He is? I went to school with him and Jace in Miami."
