Robert finally got to a point where he could park the car. The sounds of the forest assaulted their ears but it was better than the city by a long shot. He shook his head and placed his keys in his leather jacket before coming around to the side, "That's because I didn't exactly invite them to your birthday parties, kitten. Doesn't work out really well." he said with a wink as he glanced at her and put his other hand in his pocket.
He closed his eyes when he felt Connor's thoughts dwell on Anne and shook off the feelings he felt about her. Now was not the time or place to think of that creature. "Well I think between the two of us we can handle anything that happens to come up. We're not exactly slackers." he chucked as he looked at the young man and then back at Sienna. "Be polite, hear what he has to say and tell him you'll think about it. Noah may be an idiot; but he's a powerful idiot. He knows I disagree with him but that's because he wanted me to abandon my family and become a broody bitch like he is." he said in her mind as she asked questions.
He looked between Sienna and Connor and grabbed Sienna's arm, "Kitten, let Connor go, NOW." he said firmly with a parental tone as he locked eyes with her and used dominance to make her release. His dark eyes seeming to light up to orange as he stared her down. He was the oldest here and it had given him certain benefits. He'd never coersed his children into anything but he would use it now to get her to release the young vampire in her grasp. "I may not know who made you a vampire child but I RAISED you and I am telling you to release him now. You have better manners than that."

Sienna smiled and looked at Robert, as he said that. ”That is a very good point!” She said into his mind. She then looked at the forest, already feeling the pull to run off and hunt. She didn’t however, as she didn’t know how to hunt whatsoever, although it probably would come automatically eventually. She was after all a predator now.
Sienna smiled again and nodded, about the part where he started talking about Noah and how she should behave. ”I will.” She promised, not saying too much about the part where Robert called him a broody bitch, although she was sure that one would stick. Because hey, you didn't exactly called someone a broody bitch without a remotely good reason.
When Robert told her to let go and the tone he said it in, she didn't have to be told twice and let go of Connor's arm, staring at it, for a moment, before backing off slightly and wiping her mouth with her sleeve, as she was shocked and felt somewhat sick by the thought of her sudden thirst for blood, while normally she'd almost faint by seeing her own blood, but be fine with seeing other's. How could she possibly go on like that, now that she was this freaking thirsty? she wasn't sure at all, if she could.
”I.. I’m sorry..” She stuttered, looking at Connor, half, in panic, before exiting the car and leaning against it. ”I’m so sorry..” She then said, to Robert as well, as she looked at him. The tone he had used and the way he looked at her.. she’d rarely seen him like that and now that she did, she knew she’d better listen and do as he told. She then looked at the forest again as the smells entered her nose and sighed, already expecting it to be a long road ahead before she finally got used to this new life, that she had just been thrown into.

Just when things looked the worst, Robert was able to summon an aura of authority that somehow managed to stop her. Whatever just happened, Connor would take it, otherwise he would have been ended right there. Sighing loudly, Connor fell down backwards onto his butt, sitting there with his arm cradled by the other. His chest rose and fell, breathing heavily as if he had just run a marathon. It was amusing, the things a vampire did out of imitation, rather than any true need to do it. The bite marks were already starting to close on his arm, but it usually took so much longer for vampire wounds to heal themselves when they were from other vampires.
"Don't worry about it. It could happen to any one of us." he said as he rubbed his arm, getting to his feet slowly. Taking a quick look around, they seemed far enough away from it all for this to be okay. However, it was the summer, there could be be plenty of accidents waiting to happen out there, a minefield. Even Connor was a danger now, being that he had surrendered most of his blood to hold Sienna over. There was a burning hunger in him now that was hard to keep in check, however, he would have to do so in order to keep Merry's cousin from doing something she would regret.
"I'm going to go look ahead, make sure that we should even be doing this." he said, nodding as he stood up. "I should warn you now though, this blood you're about to hunt tastes awful compared to what you just had." he said, laughing under his breath. With that, Connor would disappear in a series of after images trailing him, until he was gone entirely. He would give them some alone time to work this out, yet make himself useful at the same time.

He resisted the urge to face palm as Sienna practically crawled back in her shell. At least Connor was okay about it but it made for an interesting time as he zipped off, "Sienna, being a vampire requires a great deal of self discipline and maturity. WE have to be better than humans not because of some superiority complex but because if we allow ourselves to give into our instincts we can hurt and kill the ones we love." He offered her a hand, "Come on, kitten lets get you some hunting lessons. We'll know soon enough what Connor finds." he added as he looked in the distance and sighed at his niece.
"Make sure to take the weak ones. The females are carrying so we don't want to wipe out the next generation just kill of the sick or stragglers of the herd." he said to her as they moved deeper into the forest. Their footfalls soft as he made sure they were away from any humans.

Sienna just felt shocked overall, as she had never bitten someone before and kind of because she had liked it so much. When Connor just took it as well as he did, she just stared after him, confused, as she was sure she had hurt him kind of a lot. She then looked at Robert . ”Will he be okay?” She asked him, before she listened to what he said about being better, in order to keep the people they loved safe, she nodded slightly, as she understood that much, while she thought of Merry, of her sister, of Logan. ”I can’t even imagine most of the reactions when those people find out about me. Lelia will surely freak out.” She said, with a faint smile, before she took his hand while she was trying to calm down some more.
”The weak ones.. got it.” Sienna said, as she bit her lip and looked around her, listening to any sign of movement. She kept in mind that the blood would taste less amazing than Connor’s, but also knew she had to learn how to hunt properly, if she wanted to stay alive. That was what it was all about, staying alive, not being as hungry as to attack humans.. or kill them.

"He will be okay, Sienna. He will probably find something to feed on very shortly. We've got to teach you first." he said as he looked to her, "Now listen to the sounds of the herd. Watch them carefully and when you find one who fits the bill then run towards them and bring them down. You'll be able to. You are faster and have heightened senses be sure to follow them. Go for a main artery or vein if you can."
He moved to where they could see the herd grazing. His eyes picking up on the heart beats and the scents of them. He could tell which doe were carrying and which were likely candidates for food. 'There is one with a limp. He will likely make a good candidate." he looked at her and smiled softly. "Leila will have to accept it. It may not be a permanent situation for you. You may find that there is a spell to cure you but we will have to work with what is going on now." he glanced about and scented the air to see what else he could pick up. "You have to be an active participant in your own life, Sienna. The time for just meandering along is past. Take some initiative." he said softly. It was clear she was either still in shock or just not willing to make a move. He sighed softly, she'd always been a bit reluctant to embrace what she was but now she had no choice.

Sienna nodded slowly and bit her lip, as she looked at him and did as he told her, trying not to worry too much about Connor and the way she had bitten him. She knew she needed to learn how to hunt, if she was going to want to survive. She carefully looked at the herd, trying not to feel too guilty for what she was about to do.
"Where?" She asked him, looking for the one he was talking about. When she spotted it, she nodded, but was pulled out of her thoughts, by what he said. "Easy for you to say." She said sarcastically, as she really couldn't help it. She sighed and looked at him. "I'm a whole new species, now, different than being a vampire and Lelia means a lot to me, I can't just lay it on her, telling her I'm a vampire all of a sudden. That's just not fair. And besides, shouldn't I get some time to get used to this?" She then fell silent and ran toward the herd, seeing the one with the limp, looking at her in fear, before the others sprinted away and she did what Robert told her to do, killing it.
