Noah was sitting in the park, near the entrance of the forest. It was calming, it was a quiet night. The moon was bright and it was such a silent night. No one in sight, the way he liked it. It gave him time reflect on what may soon happen. He didn’t know why but he knew something beyond his control was going to happen. But what it was, he had no idea but it would have severe consequences. For him, his kind and potentially the world. Noah looked at the sky, just gazing at it, it seemed like a weird place to meet up with someone but it felt right.

Diana was one of the older Vampires, not older than him but old enough and could possibly be the new leader amongst all the vampires, even anything were to happen to him, or well when anything happens to him. He could remember what that psychic said, he never believed in anything they said, but this time, it just felt more real than usual. Something about that woman, he never went to her; she came to him, out of the blue and told him, “A leader must always make sure their followers are always ready for the unthinkable”. What was the unthinkable? He had no idea; he just feared it was death.

He lifted his hand to check his wrist, it was almost time Diana would be here soon, he did ask her to be on time and that it was important, so he’d be sure she would be ahead of time. Noah had heard a lot about her, she seemed like the right type to take over someday, or if she is ever summoned to take care of a new area like he was. LA. Was never his home, he only moved here a while back when the elder was killed here. Noah just stared at the sky, thinking as he awaited Diana make her appearance.

Honestly Diana hadn't really expected the message she had gotten from Noah, to meet and talk in the park, but she had to admit next to that how she was way too curious to pass up on the meeting. So she had made sure she looked presentable enough for meeting someone she hadn't actually met in person yet and it seemed to her that it was something important, so she also didn't want to show up looking like some vampire that was still acting like a slut or something most of the time.

Even though she still didn't have any clue on what to expect, she had made her way to the park and toward the spot where the meeting would take place. She looked around, having taken a quick "bite" before making her way here, but still managed to keep herself and especially her clothing clean from any blood, it had just been a while before this, so she hadn't been able to pass up on the chance when it presented herself, but she didn't leave a body, she always cleaned up after herself and when she kept the person alive, she made sure there was no trace memory of it floating around in their heads.

Eventually Diana arrived at the spot with a final whoosh of the speed she was moving at until she was right in front of Noah with still some space in between them, just in case. At first she just looked at him and then got a smile on her face before making a slight bow and softly chuckling after that as she looked at him again. 'To what do I owe the pleasure?' She asked him respectively, if there was something important, something she could get out of it, it would hopefully only help her if she showed the respect and everything that she thought was expected from her from Noah's point of view. Besides, she was someone that took respect highly herself too, so it was only normal and fair.

The night was silent as Noah waited. Then within minutes, there she was, looking as elegant and lovely as everyone said. Noah has never really met Diana before, but he has heard good thing about her. Though, he did get an odd blood like scent from her, but he wasn’t going to focus on that now, he had bigger and better things to discuss with Diana now, something that might change her life, change the way she lived from now on. “Nice for you to make it, please have a seat”. Lovely night isn't it. Noah suggested that Diana take a seat on the park bench next to him. He didn’t want to come off as intimidating or anything, he just wanted to talk to her and see how she would react to what he wanted to tell her.

“I’m happy you made it, there is something I’d like to talk to you about”. Noah sighed as he looked down all worried. He tried to smile a bit, as he continued to talk. “I’ve heard great things of you, and I know you’ve roamed this world for many years. Which is why I would ask you of a really important task". Noah wasn’t sure if Diana would want all of this on her, all of this responsibilities, it was much to ask of her, especially a girl who seems as confidant as her. “I fear, my time here may be numbered. Nothing is for sure, but in case this does happen, I need to, sort out few things, since I feel I have the opportunity too”. Noah lowered his head again as he focused on the floor, it’s grass, with the calm wind, everything became noticeable all of a sudden.

Diana looked at Noah, giving him a cam smile and still found herself getting more curious now that they were both actually here, what it was that Noah wanted from her of all people, it was more than obvious that she wasn't the only vampire in this city alone, so it kind of kept making her curious to what it was that made her so special. 'Of course, I wouldn't have missed this.' Diana guaranteed him with a laugh as she walked her way closer to him and nodded before taking a seat next to him and looking at the sky. 'It is.' She said simply but honestly about it being a lovely night.

That she was now sitting next to him gave Diana a more comfortable feeling still, because it gave her the idea that she could act more like equals around him, otherwise she figured he wouldn't have asked her to sit next to him, so she would also approach this conversation like that, and just listen to him and give her opinion to whatever it was. 'I am all ears.' She said with a nod and smile when he told her he wanted to talk to her about something, and when she saw him looking down worried, she raised her eyebrows, curious and slightly concerned at the same time, she didn't think he would do it for nothing.

Diana then only nodded to show him that it was indeed right that she had roamed the world over the years, there weren't many places she hadn't been for a short or even long time, but she kept quiet to give him the chance to continue with what important thing it was that he wanted to ask of her, something that was now really nagging at her for what it could be, especially if it was such a really important thing. 'What do you mean? What could happen to you?' She asked surprised first before she looked at the sky for a short moment and then back at him. 'So... What is it that you want from me? What can I do to help?' She asked him to hear it clearly what he expected from her, and also a part of her wanted to know whatever it was, if it only counted if something happened to him.

What was pleasant about being with Diana was her positivism. She nodded kindly and was completely focused on what he was saying, she paid attention and was exactly he thought she would be. “You show great kindness Diana and respect” As he smiled slightly. He had no idea how she was going to take his request, she might just freak out but she seemed curious, she seemed eager to help, eager to know more. Before he addressed her and answered her question, he thought he’d lecture her a bit more. “All the tools you need to be a great leader, I see in you Diana, you are exactly what our vampire community needs, you are a true role model. I really think highly of you” Noah sighed again, guess he could only stall for so much.

“Right now I’m not sure Diana, but I do sense my time here are numbered and I just can’t go leaving things un said, things un done” He tried to smile, it was hard, he was slightly emotional, broken, he can’t believe this point in his life was here. “But there is one thing you can do for me Diana, I need you to take over, be the leader of the new Generation f Vampires, lead them into e new lifestyle” Noah looked at Diana intense, completely serious, hoping she took what he said seriously. “I’m afraid I won’t be here long but I do see you being the new leader Diana, but that is if you want to” Noah looked down, he knew everyone never liked the responsibility of cleaning up all the other vampires messes. Because they can’t control themselves or whatever, it was annoying having to clean up all those bodies and those disappearances he knew of them all. Half were vampires other half were as good as dead.

Diana still kept her eyes locked on Noah as she continued listening carefully to him, showing him just how much she was interested in why she was here. When she heard what he said about her showing great kindness and respect, she smiled and shortly looked down for a moment. 'Well... I think that's an attribute too much people have lost sight of.' She then told him as she looked back at him and smiled again. As soon as he began talking about how he saw all the tools to be a good leader in her and that he thought highly of her, which made her bow her head slightly with a surprised laugh coming from her mouth. 'You're honestly catching me a little off guard here, I mean...' She didn't continue her sentence because it was a too straight question in her head about what he was working toward.

So Diana listened to him again when he continued how he wasn't sure, but how he did sense his time here was done and the rest that followed, which with the way it came from him, the tone that it had, it actually surprised her. She looked at him with a surprised look, almost on the edge of shock as she tilted her head slightly to the side, still keeping quiet and giving him the chance to continue. And there it was, the thing this all came down to, the offer he had for her, the thing he had in mind for her, to take over... She never actually really thought about the idea of being the Elder vampire and in charge of the vampire community... But now that the option was there in front of her, almost her entire body and mind screamed for her to take it.

'I don't know what to say...' She started honestly because for a moment she was still at a loss for words, also that he was being so honest with her and that she could see how broken he was. 'I'm honored...' She said as she nodded and looked away slightly in thought, before looking back with a serious look in her eyes now too. 'If I might ask... If I say yes, does this mean instantly? Or only when... If that moment you're afraid of comes?' She asked him carefully but it was still a burning question she had to ask. 'Because I want to, I do.' She said as her eyes showed how serious she was about that. She knew it wouldn't be all that great all the time, but if he was talking about a new lifestyle, and the decisions were up to her, there were a few things she would have to take care of, but also a few ideas on what could help her.

Noah was worried that Diana wouldn’t want the role, he was pretty sure she would refuse, who would want such a role? Taking care of ruthless vampires, heartless, cleaning up their messes. Noah didn’t mind but it all came with the job. He found it fascinating yet horrendous all together. It was a bit of both worlds and he wasn’t sure which of two he liked. She seemed lost for words, she seemed shocked but she was eager. She was honored, or so she said. He hoped she was, it was an honor, it was a dream to outlive many vampires, only the irresponsible and the inexperienced would get themselves killed off soon. “I’m sure you are Diana, it is more of an honor to give you this new role. You strike me as a wise woman and I’m sure everyone would hang to your every word.” He smiled slightly, she was stunning in the moonlight, he was sure they would listen to her; she had a certain leader like quality in her.

She looked at him, it seemed like a look of curiosity, excitement, and fear all rolled into one, it must have been a whole lot for her to take in, she must certainly not be expecting this. She wondered if this would take in effect as of now, as of this moment. She really wanted to, her excitement was clearly seen in her behavior. “As of now yes Diana, you are the leader of, guess the new world order. I’m pretty sure you won’t have any problem with this?” he smiled at her before looking up at the sky, staring at the moonlight, which was more beautiful than ever. She wouldn’t have any problems in this role, she could have anyone wrapped around her finger.

Noah sighed a bit as he turned and looked at Diana. “If there are any more questions you might liked answered, I’d be more than willing to answer them for you” As she smiled a bit before looking at the dark night sky again. Deep in thought, about what she might ask, what she might want to know, what my ticker her curious bone. “The night is young, so time is on our side” As he chuckled a bit, still staring at the sky.
