Talk about darkness and gloom. And he thought that dark alleys and abandoned homes, even the astral plane was the worst. It now seemed that he had been underestimated. Ev was in full hunter stealth mode and was spending some quality 'brother' time with Axel. He was there for him, so he wanted to do one back. The one thing that he could majorly do for the kid was teach him, and what was better then field practise. He was happy to help the kid out with this kind of stuff but they - - he had to teach him everything about being a hunter as quick as possible. He had been taught his whole life, but Axel didn't have that luxery. Hopefully his superman-ness would compensate for that because what they were in for right now, it was not something easy. They were in somewhere that someone shouldn't; Selena's genetic's labs of Hart Enterprises. The bitch might be gone, but the mess was definitely still here. It was not hard to find and with a simple spell, they broke in. Even though it wasn't just Axel and Ev now, there was Lana. Yeah, he was going to have to play coach for two other Evans today, and it was definitely not going to be easy.
Slinking around a corner, he looked. The beeping of equipment buzzed in the dark. He didn't take bio, he had no idea what was going on around here. All he knew was from a dream including genetically altered demons, basically scientific demonic hybrids going on around here. He glanced, seeing a few open tanks around the corner. Unbreakable glass; seemed like something you would hold 'something' in, so she looked over the scene. Turning back to his brother and cousin, he sighed. ''Okay guys, this is kinda big. It seemed that before Selena died she had a bunch of monsters being manufactured here. But this is recon, okay, hopefully we won't need to fight''. That was a big hopefully.
What would help would be Xzavier. He hadn't seen him for days since, well he tried to kill him. He had been staying with Merry for a little while until he was game enough to go back, but it had been better. Besides staying with a bunch of witches, he had been at school, with the circle and more importantly; spending time with Axel. Lana was fine with Xzavier, but Ev really wanted to connect with Axel more. What he wouldn't have thought was that Axel was gay but anyways. Not something you would think, but Ev had met Eli at LA Fever a few times and he was pretty cool. Except from the time that Eli tried to kill Axel, but live and forgive right? Eli was some kind of hybrid himself but Ev had been searching for a kind of perception with good and evil. He might be part vampire, but whatever, he destroys food not lives. Looking back around the corner, Ev did not expect what happened. ''Okay, let's go!''. Suddenly, a hand gripped around Ev's throat. He barely had time to gasp as he was swung and smashed into one of the tanks, the door being locked behind him. Oh crap! Not only was he stuck in an unbreakable tank, but Lana and Axel were stuck out there with whatever these things were. Getting up quick, he quickly began chanting to open the door. Slowly but surely, he would get out. The others would just need to survive. OOC ::: I will let Lana and Axel have a few rounds before Ev jumps in

That whole lack of brotherly bonding thing he was talking about? Apparently that was changing now. There was no Xzavier, just Ev, himself and his unknown until now cousin Lana. He had just been introduced to her, and she seemed cool but like his brothers, he barely knew anything about her. Spending time with his brothers, for most, would involve hitting a club or going to a game or something. But what did he have the luxury of doing? Going hunting for some genetically-modified mutants, or something along those lines, in Hart Enterprises of all places. It really did pay to have a supernatural fighting brother.
He glanced at Everette as he spoke, a slight grin appearing on his face. "No fighting? Awe, I thought thats why I signed up for this science excursion. Just like old times, when we used to go to all those science fairs together, huh?" Maybe he was being a smartass, but Axel wasn't afraid of speaking his mind and being himself. He had changed a lot in the past months. He never would've thought that he would be so willing to jump into a supernatural scenario and bring on a fight, but he was. He wasn't that torn guy who didn't want any of this, now he had vengeance on his mind; because he knew what really happened to his family. In many ways, that truth and the fact that he wasn't just an ordinary young man anymore unleashed a side of him he never thought would come back again. He wasn't just the guy searching for the answers; he had the answers, now came the consequences of those answers. He could feel power inside him, and in many ways, he enjoyed it. Was there something wrong with that?
He continued to follow Everette, until someone gripped him by the throat, and locking him in one of the tanks. Axel stood still for a moment, watching as the demon-like creature begun gnarling towards him and Lana. He looked at Lana. "And when big brother gets locked in a laboratory tank, we improvise." He lunged foward punching one of the demons in the skull, but to little effect. He sighed, managing to dodge a punch from one of them, then dodging a punch from another one who had attacked him. "I guess this makes it a party now, huh?" He kicked one of the demons in the chest, once again to little effect. Physical damage wasn't having much effect here. Good one Ev, send us to our deaths! He dodged another punch, lunging his wrist foward which shot out a stake, piercing the chest of the demon. The demon screamed in pain, and Axel withdrew the wooden stake back into his wrist. "Guess that hurt, huh?" The demon backhanded him, sending him flying into a glass tank nearby, finally falling onto the hard floor below. "Wheres superman when we need him..." Definantly was a mission they could've used Xzavier for.

Did she look like Buffy? Was it the blonde hair, the cheerleaderness, the perkyness. Or was it the vampires in her life? If not then why was she getting subjected to such a shit situation. From what she got, there was this chick Selena who ran an enterprise which included melding demons together like play dough. Amazing right? But it just meant that Ev, going through whatever it was he was going through, decided it was a good time to start training. Lana didn't fight unless she needed too. Her parents did and look what happened to them. Blood and pain, and then they were killed. She wasn't exactly sure she wanted to carry that legacy but maybe she had to. She was apart of this crazy family though who do take it upon themselves to kill monsters, maybe she should too. She has these awesome fairy powers so why not use them, right? She was just worried. About the brothers finding out about her, about them knowing the stupid truth behind it and all. Just baby steps she would need to take. So after thinking about it, she said yes. Which lead to her meeting a long lost relative.
Axel seemed cool. He was only two years older then her so it worked out well, and he didn't seem to know much about the supernatural either. They were basically equal then so it made it easier, and in the spand of five minutes he had already made her laugh. They were now in some strange lab, and they broke in. She wasn't sure if she should be more worried about what was in the lab or that security would bust them but anyway. She stealthed in behind them, the bag of weapons in a back-pack over her shoulders. She curiously looked over the equipment that was there. Weird plant species and some information on sheets that made absolutely no sense whatsoever. No, she didn't do bio in highschool. She followed them more as Axel joked around. She thought what he said was a bit harsh, but smirked anyway as she looked around the place. It was really extensive, but then when Ev spoke she kept looking around. That was until she heard the struggle and spun to look.
Ev was thrown and trapped in a tank, and Lana and Axel were stranded out with the demon things. One of them went at Axel, and two came for Lana. Looking, one was coming from behind and one from in front. Getting frustrated, she glared at one. ''I did not spend two years with the Detroit Fairies to not know a thing or too and not be able to use it to kick your butt-ugly face''. With that, Lana decided to use to gymnist skills of being a cheerleader against them. As the front one came at her, low tenticles swinging she observed one coming for her legs. With that, she did a backflip in the air as she avoided the swing, her feet swinging and landing on the chest of the demon behind her. She fell to the ground shoulder fist as the demon behind her stagggered slightly. It barely did anything! ''Oh crap''. The demon she kicked was sending a stomp down towards her, but she rolled horizontally under a nearby table as the foot smashed down on the ground. Things weren't looking to good but Lana rose from the other side, tosing a computer monitor at one of the demons as it smashed over their face, them falling to the ground. What she didn't anticipate was a tenticle whipping at her, smacking her in the chest as she flew through the air, smashing into a beaker stand on the wall as glass smashed on her impact, rendering Lana on the ground, now very pissed. ''That's it!''. Grunting, pink light emulated from her body as she glistened. Disappearing from the spot, she reappeared behind the demon as she sent a kick into its lower back, it stepping forward and glaring at her. Good job Lana, you managed to get into bigger trouble and expose yourself as a fairy all in one! What a good day.

Rubbing his cheek in pain, he got back to his feet, shaking off some of the shards of glass which had pricked him, luckily not too deep. He stared towards the beast-like creature, not really sure what else he was able to do. He looked over, noticing that Lana was still alive. That was good to see. Though she probably hadn't had the unfortuncy of being backhanded into a glass tank or anything. Still, though she was alive, he was still worried for her well being. It was weird; he had only known her for a short amount of time, and yet he was already developing those family bonds with her, looking out for her and stuff. It was nice to have another part of his family.
These dudes were strong as, he didn't know how to fight them, but Everette wouldn't have brought them here if they couldn't handle it all, right? He looked around, trying to suss out Everette's state. "Come on Ev...Big bros aren't supposed to get knocked out and let their little brother get killed...Especially to whatever-the-heck this creature thing is. Definantly my favourite field excursion yet..." He gritted his teeth as one of the beasts came towards him again, obviously realizing that he was still alive. He picked up one of the thicker shards of glass, but the beast quickly knocked him to the ground. The beast moved foward, and Axel took the chance to plunge the shard into the beasts leg. It screamed in apparent pain, before pulling out the shard and eyeing him even more intently than before. Oh crap. He got back to his feet quickly, dodging a backhand from the beast before kicking it in the leg where the glass shard was, and the creature screamed in pain again before throwing him into a wall nearby.
He slumped to the ground, as if resting for a moment before glancing up and dodging the beast crashing into the wall. That was close, he nearly became a human pancake against a wall! What was Everette getting them into?! He got back to his feet and begun running away from the beast, and he soon heard it follow. He just hoped these things weren't known for their running. Demons and science seemed to be a deadly mixture. Lana gasped as a large fist swung towards her face. She rose her arm, trying to block it. She was strong, it was stronger. Just hopefully not too much stronger. The fist hit her arm, and she tried to hold her ground, she really did. The force pushed her sideways and she felt her chest smash onto a desk, feeling herself push everything off of the desk. Ev could really really rush right now if he wanted too. But Lana didn't know what to do now as she felt the first imbed into her back. She grunted in pain as the desk unleveled and her legs slumped down. But she had to fight back, no matter how much it hurt. If her fight with Emery and April taught her anything, it was that. Looking back at the demon, she swung her legs up. A foot kicked him in the stomach as she used her foot to grip on his chest. She climbed up him with her feet, spinning herself around onto her back and then eventually kicking him up the face. She used the momentum to roll backwards, rolling off of the desk and onto her feet. He wasn't phased at all, and she couldn't hurt him.
As she looked at him, she also saw Axel. He was running, a demon right behind him. The demon has summoned some kind of flame in his hand, holding it in its palm as it chased him. She wasn't going to be able to stop this demon, she knew that. But she could save Axel. If it reveals what she is to the people she cares about, then so be it. All she knew was that family came first. So gasping, she glistened. Light emulated from her body as she disappeared from her spot. As Axel ran, Lana teleported by his side in a run. She tackled him, grabbing his arm as fire burst at them. She glistened the both of them away, the flames scorching the air as both of them reappeared by Everette's tank. Lana let go and looked straight to the tank as it vibrated and shook, trying to break open. But it wasn't budging just yet, and they had to be careful now. "Ev, hurry up buddy!".

He looked behind him in a near-panic, noticing the demon was closing in on him. He then noticed the demon summing fire into its hands! This demon had fire too?! Wasn't the super strong and inpenetrable body like enough already? He gasped, but soon felt a thud as he was tackled to the ground by who he soon noticed was Lana. He looked on in confusion, wondering how she had gotten there so fast, he remembered seeing her tied up with another demon. "Hey, nice timing there!" He then noticed the demon closing in on the both of them, walking stalkerishly towards them. He sighed. "Ev, some magic would be really nice right now...You know, demon with hands of fire and all." He got back to his feet, noticing the demon had lunged towards them. He shoved Lana to the side, and felt the complete force of a punch, sending him into another wall.
He thudded to the ground, in obvious pain, before looking up and seeing the demon close in on Lana again. He couldn't let anything happen to her, he just couldn't. Hurry up Ev...He continued to think to himself. He had gotten him into this mess, he was at least supposed to help them get out of it, somehow. He ran at the demon as fast as he could, picking up a piece of broken metal on the way. He jumped, lunging at the demon's shoulder, piercing it in the throat from behind. It shoved him away and he hit the ground again hard, watching as the demon begun screaming in pain and flailing its arms everywhere, before it ran foward, crashing into one of the tanks and collapsing. He got back to his feet slowly, looking at the carnage he had created. Turning, he looked at the others approaching. "One down...Nine to go? No problems..." That was a lucky shot, catching the demon off guard. But nine of them, possibly more? He couldn't handle all of that. But at least he knew that those metal things inflicted some kickass damage on them.

The city lights were different. Not most people would say this, but to Palmer they looked plain. He was used to blinding lights, in air stages and potentially in a few years, flying cars. That was all rumor now, and now it definitely wouldn't come true. Unless the big evil was interested in hover cars, that potential was blown. Along with a football scholarship, along with maybe finding his girlfriend's killer. It was all gone, but Palmer had a chance to fix it. To ammend time and space, to fix everything and anything so they this time around, he would grow up to a world that would be practically begging him to live a happy life. Not like now, not like how it was. It was only an hour ago when he appeared in an alleyway in Hollywood, only an hour since he was welcomed to 2012. He wasn't used to slow cabs, but he knew where to go. It was obvious and it wasn't like he couldn't hear Ev's thoughts before hand; it was the day the demotrons were unleashed.
Palmer himself had faced a few of them over the years. They are succeptable to psychic blasts and each of them have one weakspot, you just have to find it. They were in Selena's lab. Well, in the future they are just ruins but now not so much. Approaching the door, the guy quickly opened the door and stealthed inside. He didn't know if there was security or any of that crap, all he knew was that he wasn't entering a safe place. Story of his life. Palmer made his way into the labs and immediately heard the fighting. He saw Lana glisten Axel out of harms way, and Ev in a tank. Lana? Axel? He didn't realize how hard it would be to see them, alive. But he couldn't say or do anything weird. It could change the future in even worse ways. But he had to help. Charging in, his hoody swooping in the wind, he stood in their view and up against the demons. It was showtime, and finally Palmer was going to be able to fight.
His fingers hit his temples as he focused. Then, a spin of blue energy twisted around the demon's heads as he performed a psychic attack, dazing the creatures as they staggered backwards. He focused more on one, suddenly smashing them through a desk and onto the floor. The other demon kind of recovered, swipping a fist at Palmer. Instead of blocking it, he read the demon's mind. Right hook to the sucker's head! No dude, no. The punch swung at Palmer but he ducked it, spinning low and swipping a leg to the back of the demon's leg, forcing it to kneel to the ground. From his back, in a strap that goes over his shoulder, Palmer whipped out his bow staff. With the touch of a button, the weapon expanded in his hand in a long shaft of a metal/wood compound. Smashing the demon down the face with it, he pulled the staff in half revealing a wire between it. Time to get messy! He wrapped the wire around the demon's neck, and pulling hard on both ends and with a grunt, he decapitated the monster as its head hit the ground. Looking up at them with a kind of exhausted smirk. "Uncle Axe, Uncle Ev. Meet your nephew". The cat was definitely out of the bag.

At least she had gotten them out of danger, well for a second at least. She viewed it as valuable contribution before they were killed by Frankenstein's monsters. But when the demon came at them, Lana was just about to glisten them out of the way when Axel did something stupid. Sure, he was playing the protective cousin but as he shoved Lana, he got hit. And only Lana's side, she smashed into Ev's glass tank that vibrated vigourously and caught the attention of some demon with blades attached to its hands. It was fucking ugly, and a slash came at Lana but she moved. It clanged against the glass of Ev's tank as she spun to her feet, looking in horror at the monster as also the other monster came up to her. This was so shit! Seriously, taking two rookies on a demon field-trip only for them to nearly be killed. Great leadership skills Ev! But then Axel jumped in lierally, stabbing the bigger demon in the neck with a piece of wood. Lana looked at it in disgust as it fell to the ground and Axel dealt with it.
To get the slashy demon away, Lana sent a hard front kick into its check. The kick forced it backwards a bit as she prepared, but they were blades man! She couldn't do it, and as it slashed she shot backwards besides Axel as the other demons advanced. They were now so totally dead. But then something really strange happened. A kid. He didn't like much older then her, but he came in and made hunters look like toddlers. It was some kind of mind power where he sent some kind of concussive attack at them, disorienting before he killed. And he killed the demon with style and some high-tech bow staff thing. But it was what he said when he looked at them that shocked Lana the most. "Did he - ?". A blade slashed down, just hitting the ground in the area between Lana and Axel. She screamed, but on instinct went to get out of the way. Shooting into a cartwheel to avoid the attack, she performed a cartwheel and kicked the demon up the face. This one wasn't exactly physically strong, so she kicked it and its head shot up and it staggered backwards.
Upon landing, Lana smiled. It was instinct that did that. Looking at her hands, she smiled as she realized what she had to do. From her spot, she glistened from the ground to the sky. Lana grunted as she fell down and gripped only a hanging light board, ripping it down. Lana glistened as they fell, hearing the glass smashed over the demons head as Lana landed on the ground with a large smirk on her face. It was just like fighting Emery and April, a natural instinct. Lana didn't know if it was the fairy inside her or the hunter, but whatever it was, she liked it. "Hey Ev, I got one!".

As fun as destroying nine more of these monsters single handedly sounded, a saving grace come when he sensed movement nearby. He thought it was Ev, but a hooded figure appeared basically out of nowhere, quickly making effortless work of these demons. Axel stood, gasping in awe at this kid, who looked about the same age as him, was taking these guys down like they were a vampire grunt or something. This kid had amazing skills, and his technique was awesome too. And that bow thing he had? Definantly put Axel's wrist stake and dagger to shame. But the real question was, who was this man, how did he know they were in trouble here and what were his intentions? There were just so many strange occurances happening lately in this city. And they were always so oddly involved.
The boy then spoke, and Axel's jaw soon dropped in the utmost confusion. "Uncle?" He looked over Lana, then at Everette with some confusion, before turning back to this kid. "Is that the new tactic for the bad guys, pretending to be long lost family members? It would've been more believeable if you came out with you were our long lost brother, or something like that. I don't know who you are, but I am way too young to be an uncle. And that would make Xzavier way too young to be a father, unless there is some weird family history thing you guys just conveniently left out?" He really wasn't too sure what to make of this situation. Who was this kid, and why was he referring to them as uncle?! Of all the things which could have happened, this by far was the most unexpected. And unbelieveable.
He stepped foward softly, taking a closer look at this kid. The more he focused on this boy, the more he saw Xzavier. There was something about this kid which reminded him of Xzavier, but he didn't know what. And to make it even more startling, he hadn't even known Xzavier very long. But how?! He turned back to Everette with shock on his expression. "How...Is this even possible?" He sighed, unable to find the answers he was searching for. He would let Everette shed some light on this startling revelation.
But before he could comment further, one of the demons had come between Lana and he, only managing to avoid the attack. He was thankful to see Lana was okay. He watched her for a second, and he knew she would be okay as he smiled on. Another demon decided to come foward, this one was Axel's though. "Better keep up Lana, this is my second. And Ev still hasn't got any." He smirked softly, dodging a slash from the demon, before lunging in, his stake in his wrist lunging out and plunging into the demon's heart. But the stake broke, and Axel sighed, kicking the demon in the knee before rolling out of the way. He grabbed one of the metal bits off the floor and lunged it backwards behind him as the demon approached, stabbing the demon straight in the head. He got back to his feet, shaking himself off. "Thats gotta hurt."

They fought well, he gave them that. He tried to focus a bit on them as he concentrated. The glass was strong, almost inpentrable. Well, if your not him at least. He saw them fight, he desperately wanted out when they were in trouble but they kept it up. Axel worked on instinct, using the environment around him to fight them off. Lana used her acrobatic skills and - teleportation. He couldn't believe it, but when the glowing pink caught his eye he saw Lana teleport. It was breath-taking, and really really unexpected. She was a teleporter? Since when? What the hell? He looked at her as they constantly called for help. He grit his teeth, bit down and focused on the glass. It vibrated as the only way he would be able to get out is separating the glass particles to a weaker state. It took a few minutes, but they held their own. He needed that kick. The kind of kick he had when he fought against Jayla's scream. That instinctive edge, but it wasn't coming out. Because he wasn't angry, he was worried. The glass slowly broke away, and his attention was caught by another as the kid entered. He could feel the mystic energy from the kids mind to the mind of the demons, casting a blast at them mentally. It was unique, and he knew how to fight. But who was he?
When he heard what he said, his jaw dropped. As he saw his face, it all made sense. The jaw line, the eyes, the grin. It was Xzavier's and kind of resembled the same look Ev had. It was uncanning, but it made no sense. With that, he knew too much that he had to get out of this cage. So glaring, his eyes casting over a black shade, the glass shattered into large shards of jagged glass that fell to the ground. Still in instinct mode, Ev came out and shot out to hands. A red aura was cast over the demon as he telekinetically shot them back, sending them through high-tech equipment as he lowered his hands. But as he looked closer at the kid, he saw it even more clearly. It was - eery actually. Like Xzavier from his teen years. He stood beside his cousin and brother, looking at the kid as Axel questioned him. But the way the kid looked at him, he knew that Ev knew that this was real. "Axel, shut up". He said quickly as he kept looking at the kid. But then when Lana was attacked, he remembered the demons had attacked.
Ev lifted both hands and hovered in the air towards two of the demons. He could take two, he just had to decrease the amount the others had to fight. He wasn't exactly worried about whatever this kids name was, but about Lana and Axel. Floating towards the demons, he spread his legs and sent a kick to both of their faces before landing. Hand to hand wasn't really his thing through. A punch smashed Ev across the face, but he retaliated with a punch to its chest. It looked like these things were constructs of differents demons or something. Whatever it was, it wasn't immune to magic. He sent on of them into the wall with a wave of his hand before casting his eyes onto the second. Flames engulfted the creature as it lunged at Ev but he rolled backwards, flicking the demon over him as it landed on the ground motionless. Success! That was until he was attacked from behind by one of them, him shooting forwards and staggering as he hit a desk. Once regaining stability, he rolled over the desk just in time as a swing was sent at him, dodging it and landing on the other side of the desk. Telekinetically, he sent the desk at the demon and pinned it against the wall, smirking. What a great experience they all get to share, right?

Who was this kid, and why was he referring to them as uncle?! Palmer smirked at the thought on top of the statement Axel said. It was weird really, out of their large group of family, it wasn't really normal for Axel to go off at him. It was usually Ev, or his mom and dad, or even Eli when he got pissed off enough but he was usually just hungry. Looking at them as Ev looked at him, trying to figure it out was intense. When Ev made the thought that Palmer looked like Xzavier when he was a teenager reminded him that he was told that thousands of time. And Nessa looked like Lily as a baby and Channing looks like Axel in one of his old baby pictures. It was a big line of resemblance, but when Ev made that thought he looked straight at him. "Don't worry, I know. Splitting image right?" He smirked, but then Lana was attacked by some blade demon. He went to do something, but then they all split off to fight.
With his staff still halved, he swung it over his head like a lasso as it extended slightly along the wire. As a demon came near him, he swung it down as it smashed the demon down the face and it backed off. Another came up behind him as he spun and whipped it across the chest, causing it to fall to the ground. He swung it fast and hard with skill as he listened to his thought and when they were coming. The legs! I have to go for the legs! With that, Palmer swung the staff down low and clopped the demon up the face as it went to tackle him. But it did hit one of his legs out as Palmer spun to the ground, landing with a thud. Damn demotrons! Another came at him but he focused, and channeled a thousand thought into its mind. The demon first took a step back, and then screamed as it clutched its head and Palmer's finger hit his temple as he channeled the thoughts. Thousands of loud thoughts entering their mind, until he released a blast and shot both of them onto their asses.
"You have to search for a weakspot. Every demotron has one!". He yelled out as he rose and then put his staff back together, it clipping as he held it strong in his hands. Then, a small and fast demotron launched at him. It screamed loud as claws were shot towards Palmer, but he had had lots of practise in this kind of situation with a hormone-developing little wolf sister. He shot the staff up as the claws hi the staff, the creature gripping onto it. Palmer gritted his teeth and struggled to contro the creature as its legs kicked at Palmer's stomach, hitting hard. He couldn't hand on, and then swung the demon and it smashed over the desk and under the equipment. He turned as another came at him, and he stabbed at it with the pointed end of his bow staff. I know you guys. Ev, stick with the fire spells, the demotrons crumble under heat. Axel, don't forget your sensing. If you take more observation of the creatures, you might be able to anticipate moves and dodge attacks quicker. And Lana, glisten your heart out! He projected to his family as he stabbed once more.

"Every what?!" Lana barely had time to move once asking. A demobot - a demon - a demo; urgh, it didn't matter. All she needed to know is that they were strong, unpredictable and apparently weilding some kind of weakspot for attack. Lana had no idea how to find it, so she looked at the slashing demon in front of her and glared. She was definitely not ready for the haircut from hell, so she was going to have to act fast. Lana spun and sent a round-house kick towards the demon. It nearly got him too if it hadn't moved out of the way before delivering a large slash towards Lana. She seemed to be able to dodge that, and then looked to the ground and found a foot-long metal rode that had scattered in the struggle, and slammed her foot down on it. It flicked it into the air as Lana caught it, just in time to deliver a kick to the face.
It snapped up her nose as she swung back, but thne caught her balance. It didn't stop the demon as it kicked her in the back, sending her rolling across the ground. A weakspot, yeah right! Rising, she waited for the demon to come to her and then rose the rode, feeling a force and scrap on the rode as a blade hit it. As another swip came, she blocked it too before swinging the rode and smashing the demon across the face. It staggered slightly before she reversed the strike in a backhand swing, hitting it across the face as it stumbled to the side and limply. Lana had to finish it off. Charging up behind it, she slid across the ground and spanked the demon in the back of the legs with the rode, smashing out its feet from under it as it fell to the ground. She then glistened from her spot, disappearing in a bright pink light and appearing above it, falling down and driving the rode through its chest. This one seemed to have weakspots all over because after a loud scream, it rested its head and died. Success!
"Take that Mr Edward-Scissorhands-Complex-Guy". She smirked but lowered her guard. Unfortunately she did this, because a scaley arm swung around and wrapped around her neck. She gasped as the strong limb dragged her backwards and the demon held her against its cold body and felt its frozen breath. Definitely nothing like Gabriel. Lana had to get out, so sending a low smash to its ribs via elbow, it grunted and then swung Lana and she smashed over a desk, finding herself falling to the ground in the debris. Suddenly, the desk that she fell across was flicked into the air, smashing on the ground. This did not look good for our heroine.

He raised an eyebrow at Everette, before he watched as Everette was attacked. Soon Lana was attacked. He had to agree with what she said, this guy, their nephew, knew a lot about these creatures. They must stick around in the future, or something. Damn. Did he have to fight these guys after today, as well? He was hoping Ev's plan of 'destroying Selena's creations' meant actually destroying them, and not resorting to fighting them constantly. At least this guy seemed to have found a few weakspots against them, that was something, at least. They weren't fighting completely blind, anymore.
The question on his mind was why their nephew from the future felt the need to come into their time now of all times? Something had to be up, right? It would just be odd for him to pop in for a social call, something must have happened in his time which needed to be fixed, or something along those lines. This had him slightly worried. But then again, that was about eighteen years from now, it wasn't like it was a spare of the moment thing which would be happening to them. Unless there was something he was missing.
He then heard the boy's voice in his mind, and he turned, before realizing that the boy wasn't actually speaking- he was projecting his thoughts into their minds! How did he have that kind of power? Axel had just assumed they were all limited to the standard powers, unless there was something he was missing completely. He turned to the boy, with curiosity. "Is that what they teach all the kids in school in the future?" He questioned, with a slight smirk on his face. The boy was right though, he probably did know them, maybe even better then they realized or they knew themselves. He was right to trust this boy's words, he had obviously saw them in action in the future.
