It was a date. He said it was a date. She said it was a date. Was it a date? It's official, its a date. Lana knew that, but as she walked up the final step to the mall it was all she could think about. Was it the kind of thing that one person takes differently and the other person thinks friend, first person thinks romance and so on and so forth. Lana really did need to stop obsessing, but everything had gone completely weird in the last few days and she needed the get away; she just didn't need the scoop of awkwardness to go with it. But yeah, things had been wacky the last few days. For one; she helped discover a man-made species of evil called demonoids which kicked ass. Well eventually they one, but before that it involved Ev in a cage and Axel being chased. Besides that there is also Palmer and Vanessa; two of Xzavier's kids from the future. It was confusing but it was cool too because in a few weeks, she was going to be going to school with two cousins from the future. That is however if they ever find their little brother, Channing.
She shook all of these big thoughts out of her head in the form of adjusting her hair as she walked casually through the mall. Gabriel said something about a fountain, so she had to find it. Turning, curiously peaking around on the spot she finally saw it. In a blue and white flannel-patterned shit with the sleeves rolled up, black skintight jeans and heals, Lana moved towards the fountain while dodging a rampage of people. But where was Gab? Okay, risen hopes being torn down right now. Lana was never like this, but she had never had a date with, well, someone like this. He is romantic, cute and caring. He says things that say 'fortune-cookie; eat your heart out' and the eyes. Blue like the ocean, where they first met. The picture she had taken of him at the beach, she looked at it a few times. Just to keep a still image of him in her mind, and to remember that feeling. The feeling that everything will be okay.
As her phone vibrated, she looked at the name and saw that it was Ev. Here we go again. "Hello? No. No, I'm not stopping anything today. I have - a date. Yes, I'm allowed to go on dates. Well take your own advice Mr Celibate. Give me too hours, and I can't see why you can't ask one of the Teen Titans to do it with you, I mean they are way more powerful then me. Oh, acid-spit. Um - okay then. One and a half it is. Bye love ya Bye". She couldn't hang up the phone fast enough. Hanging up, she sighed as she crossed her arms and waited. Just so you know, some kind of frog-like demon thing is in the sewers and Ev wanted to go hunt for it. But it is quick; that is where Lana came in. But she would help in an hour and a half, 90 minutes of valuable time that she could spend with Gabriel. 90 minutes of valuable time that she can forget that she is a fairy, a hunter and also an Evans just for a second before she returns him and realizes - yeah, she is Lana Evans. And she is stuck that way.

Gabriel sometimes was late on purpose, if it help him, but in this case he had already gotten the girl. He had no reason to play such a part. However he was having some troubles of his own, apparently he had run into a fairly powerful demon with pyromancer abilities who was sure that Gabriel was the one who slept with his girlfriend. Gabriel couldn't really remember but he knew it was quite possible and even likely as well. However he had a date planned and he wouldn't let such things interfere. Gabriel was able to draw the demon throughout the area, manipulating him and influencing him every step of the way until he was able to convince the dim witted demon that he was burning himself alive holding his beloved gal fated for a romeo and juliet ending. Of course it was an illusion and he was the only one burning alive but all that mattered was the threat was eliminated and Gabriel was free to move on to his date without endangering Lana's life. Gabriel Glamoured some impressive attire and made sure he was nothing less than perfect. It wasn't anything fancy or luxurious like he normally wore but average seemed fine this day. After all he was confident he would stand out as glamorous regardless of the cloths he wore.Gabriel sweet talked his way with some help of some alluring influence that just may have came from his powers into 'test driving' a brand new 2013 porsche cayman s for the entire day with the promise of returning it the next morning. Gabriel sped the whole way to the mall, double checked to make sure his 'sorry im late gift' was still in his possession and raced into the back entrance of the mall. He made his way to the fountain and spotted Lana waiting. He walked up from behind her and paused a couple feet away both hiss hands held behind his back holding a box wrapped up in silver wrapping paper, it was a tiny rectangular box and in side was a 14 karat white Gold And pink Gold, Diamond Heart Locket with his picture inside it. He then spoke as in his soft and sweet melody like voice "What an incredible woman Lana. It seems I underestimated the level of elegance you held last night. Must have been the darkness because your even more beautiful than I remember. I know I am late, I am deeply sorry, I got you a gift to try and make up for it but to be honest I don't think it will do you any justice. Your already so lovely." With that Gabriel pulled out from behind his back the wrapped box and handed over to her with an adoring smile on his face. Gabriel wasn't sure if he over did the gift. He honestly thought he under did it to be honest. Usually he spent fortunes on women and the necklace was only barely a thousand dollars. She had the ability to spend far more than that with the card he gave to her for this shopping spree they were to go do. The funny thing was the hardest part of the gift was the picture. He truly was so in love with himself as it took him over four hours arguing with himself and debating which picture to put in, which picture looked better, and how important it was to find a picture that really captured what he considered perfection. That was until he realized that it was impossible because no picture could capture the alluring beautific man that Gabriel Hart was live. Gabriel did hope she liked it though because of all the work he put into picking out the picture. "And as part of my plans to make it up to you. I know the perfect place to watch the sunset this evening. Its fairly quiet, somewhat private, and you can truly take in the gorgeous scene which I can't reiterate enough....doesn't do the beauty you already hold any justice. But who knows, maybe I am just crazy and need glasses. Gabriel chuckled faintly as he poked a bit of playful fun at Lana.

As she stood, she kind of felt something. Something she hadn't felt in a long time. It was amazing she hadn't forgotten the word; it was lucky. She felt lucky and she didn't care what anyone said about it. With Gabriel, she hit the jackpot. He is sweet and caring and he doesn't seem like the kind of guy that would give her heart ache. He is late; so what. She wouldn't usually say this but she was pretty sure she could wait for him. She looked around as she stood their, and looked down at her phone. It was a jpeg of Ev holding a demon head with an angry expression, unfortunately the acid-spit seemed to destroy his shirt a bit. She couldn't help but smirk, even though a normal person would look at that and freak their shit. cute xx ! <3 <3 Seeya much l8r then ! She text to him, then she locked her phone and slipped it into her pocket and waited for Gabriel. He should be coming.. right?
It was like she could feel him. On some level she knew he was there and as soon as she heard his voice she spun around and saw him, a smile immediately spreading across her face. It seemed that he looked just as good with a shirt on then without, and there was absolutely nothing wrong with this picture. She stepped towards him but it was obvious he had something behind his back. As he started the sweet talk, Lana giggled after his comment on her being beautiful. Hear jumper much! But then he pulled out a present. Free mall stuff and now a present, he was doing to much. The smile slightly faded as she saw it and felt the usual guilt. "You shouldn't have Gabriel". But she couldn't help but smile at him and delicately took the box and opened it. When she saw it, her jaw practically dropped. It was beautiful! Seriously, it must have costed hundreds and when she looked down at it, her mouth kind of made out words but no sound came out as she opened it. It was a picture of him with the world's best smile, and she looked down at it. This was so - amazing.
Looking up at him, she looked into his eyes but her line of sight trailed down to his lips. It was time for her to take initiative because right now, she felt like the luckiest girl in the world. She rose on her toes a bit, moving closer as a hand went around the back of Gabriel's neck and she kissed him. A slow, intimate kiss when she could taste his mouth, feel his lips and the warmth from his skin. The comfort and security that right now, Lana was lacking. Seriously, she got mauled in the confines of her own home by a succubus for god's sake! Her security level was very very minimal, but Gabriel made her feel - wanted and loved. As she parted from him and looked into his eyes, her face still close with her nose against his. "I'll wear it close to my heart - and you will always be with me". She smiled as she spoke to him softly, before kissing him again.
