Was she desperate? Some sad girl with a heart full of lonliness. She ran it through her mind, over and over. It was official, she couldn't cast a spell on herself. She tried a love subtraction spell so the pain would go away, but it didn't work. He already didn't love her anymore, what else did she have to lose? Zach was the light at the end of her tunnel. It seemed that the freak could find love. Through all this craziness, all of this pain her feelings couldn't change. He didn't visit her at the hospital; he didn't care. She had no choice. Sitting in her dorm on the floor, flicking her hair over her shoulder, she had it all ready. If he wouldn't love her for who she was, then she would make him. She would make Zach love her if she wanted too or not.
In front of her was everything. A picture of them together, the necklace he bought her for her birthday, a pile of raven feathers, elixer of Aphrodite and ten red candles set out in a pink-powdered pentagram. Everything was here, all she needed was her passion. Her need for Zach. She is a super freak, maybe one of the most powerful beings on Earth and he couldn't accept that. She wasn't letting him go this easily, she wasn't going to let him leave her forever. The circle was breaking up, that was her next mission. If they could get along then a peace spell was her goal. But this took her main priority. It was all that mattered. Arteficial or not, she needed him. A wave of her hand sent the spell in motion. At each corner of the pentagram, a candle stood, and it lit. Light shone through the powdered image as the spell took initiative. She felt her power being drawn in, and the raven feathers quivered. Telekinetically, each feather lifted and caught fire from the candles. Perfectly virtical they danced in a circle above her, burning slowly as the ashes fell onto the pentagram, the necklace and the picture of them. ''Love me''. A ball of energy appeared in the circle, channeling power from Jace. It made her a bit dizzy, but she had to finish it. She had to have Zach.
''L-love Me!''. She sat again, and the picture in front of her burst into flames. She looked over it as pink light buzzed over her, the ball getting bigger and bigger. It was getting out of control! Story of her life, magic going sour. It didn't surprise. But then, gritting her teeth as the necklace bubbled as a puddle of liquid metal, she screamed. ''LOVE ME!''. Jace screamed in pain, and he neck shot up. Her power shot from out of her, shooting above her as the ball of power in front of her burst. She fell back, her head landing on the carpet as a field of energy shot out of the room. Jace laid unconscious, and for good reason. What was meant for one is now around a million. The love spell didn't just work on Zach, but love and passion has filled Los Angeles. The ones you desire or even the goals you desire will become your obsession. Valentine's Day had come late this year!

It had been so weird. One minute he was talking to Jayla this morning before his English class and then the next, Jace was the only thing he could think about. It wasn’t uncommon for him to have thoughts about her anyway, but this, this was just ridiculous. He was having thoughts that he used to have when they were dating. Thoughts that were inappropriate to say in front of just about anyone although that never stopped him before. But even with these thoughts clouding his mind, he couldn’t help but feel that it was a bit strange. Especially because one of the main thoughts was how he felt about her abilities. The only thing was, in a matter of twenty-four hours, he had somehow decided that it didn’t matter at all what Jace was able to do. The only thing that mattered was that he wanted her now just as much as he wanted her when they first met each other back in high school. Even though there were parts of him that were fighting these thoughts just because he knew it was a little off, he just couldn’t seem to shake any of it. Where was Jace? He had to find her immediately. All he wanted to do was run to her, pick her up into his arms and never let her go like some lame ass chick flick.
It had been a week since he had last talked to her. He had went up to the hospital when he found out that she was attacked, but she had already been discharged before he could see if she was okay. He had even dialed the number that he had for her still in his phone but didn’t have the balls to actually push the call button. But now it seemed that all he had was balls. He wasn’t even nervous about seeing her after completely screwing up things yet again at the pizza shop a few weeks back. Nope, he was going to walk right up to her and tell her exactly how he felt about her. Which again, very strange. He was sure that he was still a bit apprehensive of her abilities mainly because she still didn’t talk to him about them, but his feelings were different now. At this point, whatever she decided to tell him about it would just make him love her even more.
Maybe he could head over to her dorm room. Yeah, that was what he could do. It was a good thing Trenton wasn’t here to see him all mushy about Jace. He would never hear the end of it probably, especially since Zach wasn’t very nice when Marina first came over. He really hoped Jayla was over there. That whole situation was really awkward! He never saw that coming at all. Zach grabbed the key to his dorm room and headed out intending to go to Jace’s dorm. It was a good thing Axel and Zach had ate lunch together this past week. If they hadn’t, Zach wouldn’t have known where Jacinta’s dorm room was.
It didn’t take Zach long to get there, and he didn’t even have to think about what he was going to say to her when she answered the door because he already knew exactly what he was going to do. After all, it wasn’t every day that you got to have a second chance with your ex-girlfriend when you totally bombed the first one. He lifted his fist and softly knocked on the door.

Talk about drained! At first her arm twitched. She felt like she had been on a bender for like a week straight. Either that or hit by a bus. Lying on the ground, she stirred. Magic was still definitely in the air, how else could you explain one flinch and the entire ritual layout, scattering under her bed. As her eyes flicked open, she guessed it was just her subconscious being worried that someone would find this. It was hours since she had cast the spell as as she felt around on the floor for her phone. Fumbling it in her hands as she sat up, she faced the screen at her as she checked the time. It was late, and she had missed all her classes for the day. Her plan was to cast the spell and maybe run into Zach in the halls, but that didn't work. Now she was screwed and it was only the start of the second semester. Great going Jace!
But did it work? All she remembered was a burst of power, a light hitting her face and all over her and taking her power. It was intense, and it felt like it was much more then a simple one-on-one lovespell. Now that she thought about it, emotionally, she didn't feel any different. Like it didn't work on her. It didn't surprise, she was the Grey Witch. She couldn't cast spells on herself, but then she heard a girl laughing. She didn't know of any dorm parties, but moving towards the window, she drew the curtain across. She saw it. It was mark of the spell, and it was on everyone. A guy and a girl were actually playing cash and kiss and she pretty sure a police man was telling a love poem to a doughnut. It was so - happy. Kind of exciting really, but a big mistake. The spell had infected everyone! Looking around at the scene, but was distracted by a knock at the door. Looking to the door, she glanced back slightly at the window as she looked back to the door.
Walking over to it, she tried to fix up her hair a bit as she wondered who it was. Axel maybe. Maybe Kyra just to annoy the crap out of her even though right now, she hated the chick. She was too inlove with power to care about anything else, and now she wanted her and Wes to have the circle's magic and just depart. Not if she could help it. But opening the door, she saw Zach. Her heart kind of jumped, but this showed one thing; that the spell had worked. The look in his eyes said it all. She didn't smile, but just looked at him. "Zach....". God, she had to stop with that name. It was no good for her, but what could she do. She was in love. "What are you doing here?".

When the door opened, and Jace stood right in front of him, all he could see was everything he had been missing for the year that they had been apart. At that moment, all of what he wanted to say completely left his mind. There was only one thing that he could do to sum up everything that he was feeling at that exact moment. It would show her that he still loved her completely regardless of whatever she brought along with her. It would show her that he was willing to accept it and understand it all. It showed that he was willing to finally be there for her like a boyfriend should. Zach stepped forward gently griping her cheeks in both of his hands. His lips touched hers without any hesitation. It was almost like they were one again. Almost like they had never broken up in the first place.
So many thoughts were going through his head. Not one of them was the idea that Jace wouldn’t take this gesture as him wanting to be with her again. Zach finally pulled away and dropped his hands his eyes still meeting hers. “Jace, losing you was a mistake. I can’t handle you not being in my life. I love you. I always have. And I don’t know why I was so close minded back then to see how stupid I was being. I don’t want just half of you. I want all of you. Firey bed and all.” Zach couldn’t believe what he was saying, but that didn’t matter because he knew in his heart that it was real. What he felt for Jace would always be real.

The last time she checked she wasn't a mind reader, but she could just tell what he was thinking. The spell had worked, on everyone it seemed, if you ask her it just worked a little bit too well. But the fact that he was standing in front of her, the look in his eyes that she remembered from a year ago gleaming at her as she looked into them like she was in a trance. When his hands rose to her soft cheeks, his eyes fixed on her and he moved in, she knew this was going to happen. It was the moment before the kiss where she just waited, but it took forever. During this time she wondered? What a selfish bitch she was. Jace a year ago would barely know how to use magic let alone being able to infect a whole city and why did she do it? Just to feel like she wasn't alone? It wasn't reason enough, with the circle and Kyra and everything else how could she be so reckless. But then he kissed her.
Electricity flowed through his lips into her. It was love, the spark that was barley lit was now a piercing light. She could feel him, his aura, his spirit. His energies mingling with hers as the kiss snet her head spinning. Every object in the room rose. The bed, the tables and cabinets, the candles, the curtains. Everything. It was magic right there, arteficial or not. When they stopped, she just looked into his eyes with a smile as he told her everything she wanted to hear. When he said it, she went in and gave him a hug. Feelings his warm body around hers again was the best thing in the world, and gave her world that little bit of balance back. She wouldn't stop it for the world. But she knew she had too.
It was wrong what she was doing. Messing with love wasn't proper and it had forced him to do this. Even if it was true, the love they had wasn't strong anymore. It was a little figment in the back of his mind that only rose from the spell. It was the spell, not Jace. He head on his shoulder, she looked blankly as she just stared at the wall. Thinking about what had happened, a tear rolled off her face onto his shoulder as she sucked it up, and spoke calmly. "You don't know what that means to me, Zach". She closed her eyes tight as he held her, and hated herself for what she had done.

Zach stared at her waiting impatiently for her response to what he had just confessed to her. All of the things he wished he had said sooner. All of it was off his chest and hopefully swirling around in her mind. He had been so preoccupied with waiting, that he hadn’t realized that the whole room seemed to be floating. He knew he should have felt anxious about that or a bit upset, but all it did was make him love her even more. When she stepped forward and wrapped her arms around him, he embraced her happily. He had missed this more than anything. Just her being here with him and holding him. This time though, he wouldn’t let her go. He had her now, and there was nothing in the world that could make him leave her side again.
When Jace finally spoke, she told him that what he had said meant everything to her, and from how he heard it, he couldn’t tell that there was anything wrong with her at this moment. He buried his face in her neck tightening the grip on her. “I missed you so much,” he said his words muffled into her neck. He kissed her neck and made a trail all the way from that one spot back up to her lips. He hadn’t kissed anyone in so long. He had had a girlfriend shortly after Jace, but it had meant nothing to him and was only there to get rid of the loneliness that he was feeling. He had gotten rid of her fairly quick though when he had realized that Jace was the only one that could fix that problem. It was nice to feel the curve of her lips on his again. It was right. And just as memories of them kissing flowed through his mind, others crept their way in as well. Oh how he wanted to feel her body against his in ways that he didn’t want to just remember anymore. He wanted to experience once again.

As a witch, and not to mention a super powerful witch, Jace has found that it really isn't hard to feel people's energies. She could feel the twisted personality of Kyra's before she even met her, she saw the good soul of Everette before she joined the circle and she could feel the warmth and comfort in Zach every second she was with him. But now, with her hands around him and him nestling into her, she could basically feel electricity buzzing off of his body in intense shocks. They went through her body and she didn't want to let go, and when he whispered those tow little words, she couldn't help it any longer. She smiled so largely and she then felt his lips touch her neck. They ran up her neck and to her lips, and he kissed her. This was definitely not a 'whatever, let's screw' kiss, it was way way way more then that. Jace was nearly knocked off of her feet when he kissed her, her hands curling around his jawline as she kissed him hard back, feeling his mouth, his tongue, his lips and his soul. Oddly enough, she could basically feel his soul more then his body. That's what happens when you are kissed by Sabrina.
Parting, Jace stepped away from him as her hand touched his hand and she lured him back into her room. Everything luckily was hidden, and she touched his warm hand as she closed the door behind him. With her hands just so you know, not her mind. Turning back to him, she shot at him like a rocket and into his bubble, kissing him again and sitting down on the bed, with him. This was amazing, and once seated she took initiative, and the first move. "Zach ..... I want you". She moved to him, kissing him and swinging her leg over his, pearched on his lap as she kissed him. She could deal with the repercussions later, but she couldn't help but love the moment. She didn't want Zach to have his logic and skepticism that kept him away from her, she just wanted this.So kissing him, she shifted a hand up his shirt. Witches on parade right?
