It was just that kind of night, the music was deafening, the air was thick inside the club. For some reason this place was packed tonight, trying to get through the dance floor was like walking through a can of sardines almost. On top of all of that, everyone in the club seemed to either be lovey dovey or incredibly lustful. The amount of grinding happening on that dance floor made Lelia weary that the entire building was going to burst into flames. It would have really been a sight to behold, however she didn't feel like dying today, luckily it was a only a silly idea.
There was a more important reason though to her coming here tonight, she was looking for someone. As always in a new city she needed to establish a relationship with a new supplier, she had been living off a tiny fix here and there ever since she arrived here. Luckily a few days ago some people she knew told her about a man, one who was supposedly the king of the scene basically, people didn't find it as much of a hassle to buy from him compared to anyone else. The way they made it sound, Lelia practically figured this guy could be here best friend.
Scanning the crowd for a person that matched the description she was given, Lelia made sure to linger near the bar. Incase she missed him, maybe she would be able to catch him when he was buying a drink. Of course, she had made sure that the one arranging this little meeting gave him some details on how to find her, that she would be the blonde in the little black dress at the end of the bar, the one wearing a wiccan symbol around her neck. "Vodka, straight." she said as she rotated on the stool and watched the crowd once again.
Lelia was sure what to expect, making her nervous as always. It wasn't uncommon that these little meetings turned violent. She could even remember one where the guy tried to force himself on her as the payment, causing her to shudder and shake the image out of her head.

causing problems makes you famous allthis VIOLENCE makesastatement - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - The cell in the back of his pants went off. He pulled it out and stepped towards the door where it was quite. “Yea?” he asked. “Uhuh? You’re sure she’d be here tonight?” By the bar, blonde in the black dress. This was LA, there were five blondes in black dresses walking into the bar as they spoke. He stepped back around to look over at the bar. Six blondes at the bar, three blondes looking around, two in black dresses. What in the hell would a wiccan symbol look like? “Yea I got it. She knows to look for me?” He was silent for another minuet. “Okay. Yea. Thanks for the hook up. You still owe me.” Jyo hung up the phone and went back out. Something was strange about tonight. Everyone seemed extra… Well, mushy.
Jyo gagged, and finished dancing with the girl he had been with. She gladly threw herself at him but Jyo held off. He was under the influence as well. What ever it was… He had to force himself not to except it. He wouldn’t fail Rose like that, succumbing to the individual before the Gang. Jyo detached himself from the dance floor, pulling away from the desires he so wanted for himself.
He shook himself. What was going on? Nothing ever tempted Jyo this badly to put the Individual before the Gang… He carried the mark of Council because of it. He shook himself and walked over to the girl, he somehow just knew was the one looking for him. Vodka, straight. He stayed a step away, waiting for the drink to come to her… But decided to take the edge out of the wait by stepping forward as she shook her head at something. “I hear your looking for me? Care to join me?” He waved at the dance floor.
“I understand being nervous,” he told her. “Black Rose has been known to be dangerous. But we’re a business as well as a gang. You’re looking to do business?” he asked her with a pleasant smile on his face. He held his hand out to her, “I’m Jyo Kiddo. It’s a pleasure to meet you.”

For some reason the place felt louder than usual, there was an energy here she could almost touch, but she couldn't figure out what it was. People seemed to be extra lovey, throwing themselves at each other like they had never seen the opposite sex before. Maybe it was a bad idea to have this drink after all, but then again she needed it or else she would explode. It was a bit sad, her coping mechanism, but there wasn't much she wanted to do about it at the time. When the drink finally got to her, she felt that she was being watch by someone. While it wasn't strange since she was in a night club, it felt like more than just the wandering gaze, like they were staring at her for a reason.
Looking around, she was startled a bit when he spoke, but it quickly faded away. By some minor details, she figured that this might be the guy, who only confirmed that when he spoke. A smirk threatened to overwhelm her lips as she stood up, holding out a hand to him. "Of course, I would love to dance." she said, loud enough for it to be heard over the music. No one said the guy that was coming to take her cash was going to handsome, though she figured they didn't say other either. What was happening to her today? It felt like every guy she laid eyes on could be the one she was looking for, until she saw him. Immediately there was some sort of tiny spark in side of her, fixating on him.
Following him to the floor, she only nodded as he spoke, waiting until he was finished. "You never know when things are going to go bad. But I am used to this sort of deal. I've been around the block." she said, a playful grin following that statement. Honestly she was terrified, there were several occasions where she had ended up on the bad side of powerful gangs, how she got away from it all was a mystery to even her. Nodding her head, she took his hand and shook it gently, looking him in the eyes. "Nice to meet you. Lelia, Lelia Lovelace" she said, figuring she should at least be as formal as he was. It was impressive actually, in comparison to her other meetings this one was alot more professional.
"I'm new in town, been running around all over. But I figured it would be a good idea to find a new supply. I am definitely interested in doing business." she said, without so much as a nervous glance about like some people might do in this type of situation. "I'm only looking for something small, like 3.5 grams or so. Just enough for a night. That's not a problem is it?" she asked, starting to sway a bit on the spot. She would need to make it look like she was dancing with him at least, though in the back of her mind she almost wished this wasn't business, that it was pleasure. Who was to say that it couldn't be bother?

causing problems makes you famous allthis VIOLENCE makesastatement - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - “Sorry I didn’t mean to scare you.” He gave her his best smile and unbuttoned his jacket again. He hadn’t even realized that he had buttoned it when he went over to the bar. He was having trouble tonight… He hated the idea family… But family suddenly sounded really interesting. Any girl could be the one, especially this girl… But she was… He couldn’t, she wouldn’t fit in with Black Rose as a buyer… Would she quit? Jyo mentally shook his head… His loyalty was faltering tonight… He hoped it didn’t continue, he didn’t want his god son living with the fact that he’d died because he’d turned coat.
He raised his eyebrow. His mother said the trick to raise his eyebrow without altering the other was a sign of his demonic nature, some times she joked he was an incubus. “Oh really…” he stopped and looked at her. Lovelace… Lovelace… Where had he heard that name before? He shrugged. “Welcome to business with a Rose. We try to play nice until you try to short change us.” He nodded his head in her direction. “I doubt someone so pretty, with,” he brushed a finger over the strap of her dress, “your… style, will have a problem with us.” As his finger brushed over the top of the dress his knuckle brushed her skin, it felt smooth on her shoulder. He tried to push thoughts out of his head as they pulled closer to dance to the song.
Jyo smiled at her, “I know that one.” He shook his head. “When my Dad picked up his drinking we ended moving to support it. It was like moving to a whole new planet. Lucky me, I found the Black Rose Brotherhood.” He smiled at her again and winked. “I guess it’s lucky you too huh?” He wrapped an arm around her to pull her closer while he dug into the breast pocket of his jacket. He made sure his weapon was visible, by habit. For some reason he didn’t think he would manage to shoot her. “3.5 right?” he confirmed and pulled a small baggy out. “I think this might be closer to four…” He glared at it for a second. “But consider it a thank you for buying from us for the first time.” He winked. He’d have to pay for it himself, oh well.
The song began to beat faster. He squeezed the baggie in his hand and wrapped both arms around Lelia. Jyo expected her to remove his hands and take the baggie, but found himself seriously wishing she wouldn’t. He had to shake his head again to clear it. Seriously what was with him tonight? “Sorry,” he offered by way of explaination.

Lelia watched him carefully, but not entirely because she was nervous anymore. Each expression seemed to send an odd feeling of joy through her, as if watching him speak was one of the best things she had ever seen. He was handsome, undeniably, though before she wouldn't have given much thought to the one she bought from. Without even thinking about it she found herself entirely drawn to him, moving closer as if so that she could hear every sound, hang on his every word. He did seem rather distracted though, had she done something to screw this up already? Screw what up? The deal, she had almost forgotten why she was here.
"My uncle owns a label. Though, I don't know if that's why you recognize the name. Maybe you've met one of my cousins." she said, laughing but it would be drowned out by the sound of the music. They really were everywhere, weren't they? Her and her cousins were like weeds she always thought, resiliant, hard to kill, and they were definitely growing in numbers. Jyo seemed very pleasant however, compared to previous contacts anyway. She offered him a bright smile, nodding her head. "Thanks. Believe me, that won't be a problem. I've seen where that road ends." she said, reassuring him she was good for it.
Lelia pulled closer to him, feeling his hand brush against her skin. She smiled at him, where normally she wouldn't have. Instinctively she bit her lower lip in thought, why was she being so awkward and girly tonight? "Psh, pretty? You don't have to sell your product to me, I'm already buying aren't I?" she asked, winking at him. Though she had a feeling it implied more than just business, had she really made that much of an impression already? "I appreciate the compliments though, you really know how to make us feel special." she said.
"Lucky indeed. Not many dealers come as well equipped for the job as you do." she said, the statement having slipped out. She laughed aloud, shaking her head. Why did she say that? Well it was true wasn't it? Yes, most definitely the absolute truth of the matter. There was a wide grin, showing off her a pearly smile as she looked at tonights release being held right before her. "Well, thank you very much. I can forsee there being a beautiful thing between us." she said, unsure at this point if she was refering to the drugs or the man.
Feeling Jyo step in with the bag in hand, she felt him wrap his arms around her, both of them dancing to the beat. However she didn't move her own hands to remove his, infact she pretty much forgot the purpose of that gesture. She just kept on dancing with him, stopping only to stare him in the eyes for a moment. "Uhm. I guess I'm distracting you from your work..?" she asked, hoping that he would stay. The contact sent shivers down her spine and for some reason more than any other man ever; she wanted him tonight.

causing problems makes you famous allthis VIOLENCE makesastatement - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - “Mmm… Maybe… Who knows?” he said not thinking about it a second longer then he wanted to with this blonde between his arms. “I’m glad. I see this relationship could go far.” Jyo wasn’t lying. He knew for some reason that depending on the choices they made over the coming weaks that there were two outcomes. One, a teenager would clean Lelia’s act up and Jyo wouldn’t see her again, or they would maintain a connection, and Jyo would kick her ass straight. One of the two. He hoped the second one… But that might be what ever was in the booze that night talking.
Jyo smiled at her with a soft chuckle. Normally it sent girls in to a giggling frenzy but with the music so loud it drowned the sound. “Who said I was selling product?” he teased her. “You are, there wouldn’t be a point to that… Not that I normally do. I find it sells itself. I have to sell myself. Otherwise nice young blondes get hoodwinked by the competition and short changed themselves.” For some reason the flirting he usually used felt wrong this time, Jyo found himself laughing at himself. “Okay that was corny huh?” he asked her.
He looked down to see what she was talking about and laughed a little. “Sorry. Force of habit. I’m so used to people trying to rip me off… I don’t think you have to worry about it.” He closed his jacket carefully around the gun and smiled at her. He raised an eyebrow at Leila. “Hopefully,” was all he could answer back. His loyalty found himself saying he wanted it because it was money for the gang; this new found personal interest claimed there was something interesting in this girl he wanted.
She took a step back and asked about work. Why did she have to do that? Yes, he wasn’t selling if he was dancing with her, but still… He’d made sales… Jyo stopped his dangerous train of thought; he was not the Snake he would never betray his Brotherhood, for anything. He closed his eyes with a pained expression on his face. “If you don’t want to anymore…” Jyo pulled back from where he was holding her, but stopped just as his hands reached her hips. He opened his eyes and looked at her, searching her face for a reaction. That feeling came back, this was one of those choices… He faltered a moment, unable to move, just looking at her.

Lelia's mind went blank for a moment, lost in the moment here on the dance floor. She was barely able to concentrate on anything else but this, yet somehow he managed to catch her off guard again. This relationship!? What was he on about now? The love spell was messing with her head pretty badly now, though in a few moments she would compose herself enough to realize he meant the whole supply and demand thing. How could she be sure though? His body was sending off as many signals as hers, she knew that there was only one thing she could be sure of right now and that was the fact that it seemed a whole lot warmer than usual in here.
"So that makes you what, a White Knight?" she asked, giggling though it was mostly drown out by the music. He definitely seemed like he was less of a brute than the rest of the people she dealt with. The way he carried himself, the way he spoke, everything about him was intriguing in this moment. She wanted to know more of him, however talking seemed like it would ruin it all. Whatever this feeling was it was not entirely her own, something more that she could not control in the least. Lelia flashed a playful grin, shaking her head at him. "Not too corny, though it sounds like you have a few tricks up your sleeve to picking up the ladies." she teased.
Honestly she didn't care how it sounded right now, the fact that he even gave her the time of day seemed to be enough. The deal was almost entirely forgotten now, if it wasn't for the gun he carried she would have put it aside entirely for just this. The addiction didn't seem so bad when he was looking at her this way, his voice was almost as intoxicating. "Don't worry about it, I've had worse, it could be pointed at my face." she said, smirking as if she wasn't afraid of the fact that it was present. That was not entirely true, but there was no reason to dwell on something she could not change.
"I hope I don't have to worry about it, I think I've finally found someone I can stand to talk to.." she said, making a pouty face. Instead of pulling away she moved closer to him as he closed his jacket, feeling his hands move down to her hips. Most of what he said next went over her head as she watched his lips move, until she managed to make him take a few steps back from the situation. Lelia however didn't want that, she sucked up her courage, and decided to take a bold step.
Moving in closer, she smiled up at him, leaned in, and kissed him. Her voice was only just loud enough for him to hear, "I want to.. as long as you do." she said softly. Her eyes darted towards the door that lead to the back once, then back to him, contemplating his next move.

causing problems makes you famous allthis VIOLENCE makesastatement - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Her moment of panic wasn’t missed. He sensed her body tense and loose the rhythm in that half second. Jyo glanced at her but didn’t say anything. Had he gone to far in assuming that she was a full addict, not a recreational addict? Or was he giving off to many vibes about what he was thinking… He’d done that, a couple of times with one or two of his exes… But… Jyo pushed the thought away
He shook his head chuckling again. “No. I’m no more White then any other business broker who does what he has to, to ensure that his customers get a decent product and manages to cut out the competition.” He smiled and leaned down a little so his head was closer to hers; partly because it was easier to hear her, partly because it was a way to get closer. He snorted. “A girl like you? You let me know if anyone ever points their piece at you uninvited. I’ll set ‘em straight.”
Jyo was caught off guard by a full half second by the kiss. If something hadn’t been drugging him tonight (his magic never seemed to work when someone else’s magic was working against him) he would have suspected this whole thing. First she wanted to buy, now she seemed more interested in hooking up. First she was content talking and dancing, letting the fireworks be their only arousal, now she wanted him alone. His street training screamed not to be alone with her, but his ability to know told him it was alright. In the split second it took for his gift to tell him what was what he kissed her back.
“Mmm. And therein lies the problem,” he muttered to himself. Could he stop now and still feel good. He went over in his mind the money he had made as his eyes followed where hers had flitted to. He placed his forehead against hers. He had least covered his parents rent and taxes tonight. LA really was a drug dealers paradise. He smiled and nodded. “I do. I just have to wonder what a pretty girl with a rich Daddy wants with a man like me?” He said just load enough for them to be heard. Gifts be damned, he knew better then to go in not asking.

He was quick on his feet, cool, easy going, but the thing that stood out most was the fact that he was honest. If nothing else, she was a sucker for a guy that just told it like it was, no secrets other than the ones that were neccasary. Minus the possible drug use, he seemed to be exactly her type, despite the shady life he lived. If Lelia had learned anything though in all of this, most of these dealers actually did it for a reason, at least in her experiance. They weren't all wannabe thugs who's only goal was to make money and hassle everyone else.
"I'll make sure to let 'em know that I have a bit of extra protection." she replied without missing a beat. There was a bright smile on her face, for some reason the fact that he was offering to protect her, somewhat, made her feel a bit better about making this choice. It was odd to find someone in this business who was like him, but when you did, they were definitely the contacts you kept for as long as possible. "I'm sure you won't have to worry about it much, I won't be shopping around much, something tells me.." she said as she continued her examination of him.
There were no warning signs for Lelia, for everything just felt like she should let it happen. Whatever she had consumed at the bar made her feel like she was riding a giant wave of euphoria, that she should just go with the flow on this one. At first she thought she had done something wrong in kissing him, but she got her answer when he pressed in once more to return the sudden lust driven out burst. All she wanted to do was get out of here, to go somewhere where they could be alone, somewhere she could forget everything but him for the night.
Jyo pulled away from her eventually, a frown threatening to over take her expression. She looked up at him, biting her lower lip as she wondered what was wrong. That kiss made it seem like he was interested, but he kept talking, which ruined the moment. "What's the problem? Did I say something?" she asked, wondering if maybe she had done something. Everything before that kiss was quickly becoming lost to her, she had no idea what she could have said to offend. Lelia looked away from him for a moment as the question came up, she figured he would ask.
"My uncle is the one who is rich, my father is.. well that's better left for another time." she said, prefering not to kill this moment. Instead she just clung tighter to him. "You're just.. really attractive. A nice guy, you don't find that often here. I just feel like I can trust you tonight, all I want to do is have a good night." she said, leaving out the part about trying to forget everything else. That was what the drugs were for, but this would do better for her right now. "Don't sell yourself short, you're definitely worth the attention." she said, winking.
"Do you want to get out of here or not?" she asked, deciding to just be blunt.

The rest of the family had made something of themselves; it seemed Lelia had been left behind, so she spent her money on something that helped her forget what side of town she lived on, and made her feel good. It was a sad humor really, but Jyo understood just a little bit finally. “I see… How about then, he skip the boxes… Which I’m sure are all ready taken… With what ever’s in the water tonight… And head out?”
He held his arm out to her with an impressed look on his face and smirked. “I’m waiting for you Miss.” Jyo took her hand and lead her out the door towards his waiting Nissan 350Z. He leaned down and kissed her again. "Ready for a good night of fun?"
