Diana was still pretty bored from her traveling to LA because it had been a lot more boring than she had hoped it would have been, not really any interesting people close or anything, only old people, or nerds or some types she didn't even have a word for that described them negatively enough, some humans were just so... Weird, but that had mostly been since the less she cared about humanity and gave into her own.
But now here she was, getting close to having some more fun, something she was determined to have first as she was in the library after it surely didn't take her long to track down Trenton and see him... He was studying? Seriously? He was really doing his best for some study? And here she was, thinking that she had heard that he had some diabolical plan or something, and then he was sitting here like some normal student or something, that was in a way pretty disappointing, but no matter, she would tell him that later eventually.
Diana looked around for a moment, studying the layout of the library as she still kept a low profile behind one of the bookcases but at least still getting a good look at Trenton sitting there. She wasn't going to reveal herself that easily, she was afraid that if she did she would just die of being bored because that would be way too simple. So she grinned devilishly which she had become pretty good at in all those years and focused on manipulating Trenton's mind, making him hallucinate, for instance some vague growling sounds, but also a whispering voice of his name and a strange and evil echoing laugh of a woman, not wanting any of it giving her away too soon.
Still Diana was careful with that in mind, not wanting to be caught too soon, so after the first few seconds, she moved with her vampire speed in between two other bookcases on the other side and hiding behind them where she still had her eyes on Trenton and grinned again before making sure she continued making him hear the sounds and now even see something slightly here and there.
ooc: I hope it's not too short xD

Trenton looked down at his history textbook and bore his fangs at it in exasperation. Here he had all these plans for taking over Los Angeles and he was stuck playing "Joe Student" because of a stupid demon wanting to take over the entire universe by bringing forth demons from a hell dimension. And where had that left her? Dead as a doornail, as the humans said.
Just then, growling reached his ears. Instantly, the vampire was on alert. There was something there. He heard his name being whispered and he followed the sound, only to hear a woman's laugh coming from another direction. He looked around in confusion, letting his hunter's instincts raise up. Someone was trying to confuse him and he needed to show them that he could not be manipulated so easily.
There was a whoosh as something dashed past him and he whirled around, turning towards the scent that had caught his attention. It was a familiar smell, he knew that. Turning, he thought he saw a shadow, but when he looked again, it was gone. Trenton growled and let his true features slip forth. 'I should warn you, I'm an excellent hunter," he cautioned, his ears poised for the next sound.
OOC Nope, not too short at all.

Diana knew, or at least expected, that by now Trenton would have caught onto her scent, she just wasn't sure if he would even recognize it instantly, but that would only make her point even more once she came to that, but for now she wasn't done yet. She could see him showing his true features from her hiding place and grinned amused by that.
She made sure he heard more growling, then some screams again and also tried to make him believe there was a wolf nearby and see his reaction to that. She moved with a whoosh again because of her speed to another spot, yet closer at the same time to Trenton and let it go on for a little longer, wanting to have a little more fun with it and toy with him some more.
Still after letting him hear a mocking female laugh again because of his words, Diana moved quickly to right behind him and smiled as she tilted her head to the side, still prepared to defend herself if he were to try and attack her she thought. 'Sheesh Trent, that were big words for someone that doesn't even recognize my scent, are you telling me that you're really some studying geek all of a sudden and that all the rumors I heard about you wanting to take over Los Angeles for yourself were just simple gossip?' Diana teased as she smirked at him, waiting for him to turn toward her and curious to his response.

Trenton looked around, his eyes narrowed in concentration. The scent he had just picked up was familiar. If he didn't know better, he would swear it was Diana. But what would she be doing in Los Angeles? There came some more growling and screaming which was followed by another whoosh. This time the scent was unmistakeable. It wasDiana. Trenton shook his head and let a grin curve his features.
A wolf howled and he turned to where he smelled her scent. "Cute," he smirked. He then listened as she berated him, saying that she couldn't believe that he didn't even recognize his scent and asked if was really some sort of study geek and if his plans to take over Los Angeles were just rumors. "Hardly. I'm just biding my time. Vampires were recently forced to team up with hunters to stop a demon from opening a hell dimension. Now I'm all for destruction, but bringing in demons or other creatures that I have no clue how to fight is not my idea of a good time," he told her. "Besides, it wouldn't do to get myself on the hunters radar again so soon, now would it? For now, I have to lie low," he answered.
He flashed her a genuine smile, the only other person who would see it. "It's good to see you. How have you been?"

From the position Diana had moved to, she was sure she saw a grin appear on his features and she was hoping by now that it meant he had finally caught on clearly enough, because otherwise she would have to kick his ass for a moment to remind him again of how rude it was to take so long to figure this out. She loved to put up this show and at least make him paranoid for a moment, she knew he would catch on sooner or later, especially once she showed herself, but he couldn't blame her for testing him a little with a slight refresher course right?
'Are you calling me cute Trent?' She teased him with a grin on her face as she still had her arms folded in front of her chest as she looked at him, standing there in front of him. She waved her hand slightly in front of her mouth as she pretended to yawn because of his explanation for biding his time and having to lie low and she smirked again in a teasing way while tilting her head to the side at the same time. 'It sounds weak, you know that right?' She wanted to see if he realized that, because from what she saw, it were just excuses. 'I guess I'll have to start pushing you a little more, there's biding your time, but there's also overdoing it, or is there another factor to this story that I should know about? Or maybe even another person? A girl maybe?' She asked him with a grin as she stepped closer to him with an analyzing look in her eyes, she didn't really suspect something specific, but it shouldn't surprise Trent that she was asking that question either, she usually blurted out questions like that, especially around him.
'But I guess you're right, we don't need any hunters, yet, although it can be fun at times.' She chuckled as her eyes showed a devilish look for just a moment that she had only begun to show since the moment a while back when she decided to turn of the largest portion of any human feeling that might be in her body and mind. 'And it's good to see you too, even if you seem a little scrawnier than I remember.' She teased him while grinning again and then shrugging. 'And you know, same old same old, got bored, needed something else, and I picked up you were here, with your whole diabolical plan, so I thought I'd drop in, see if there's anything fun for me to find in LA myself.' She told him simply as she shrugged again and smile back genuinely like she had just seem coming from him again which she was always happy to notice it.

When Diana told Trenton that his reasoning for laying low was weak, he rolled his eyes. Leave it to her to be blunt. She then reminded him that biding his time was fine but that he didn't want to over-do it and then stated that maybe he needed to be pushed again, to keep sharp. "Well, I keep busy, but I do miss my hunting buddy," he told her.
At her question about another factor to his laying low, his eyes clouded. "That's a bit complicated," he told her. Then he nodded in agreement when she said that while they didn't need the attention of hunters, it was fun messing with them. "Yes, it sure is...especially when you get them off of their vampire protection," he agreed.
His mouth dropped open when she called him scrawny. "How many times do I have to tell you that I'm not scrawny, I'm scrappy?" he shot back. Honestly! Would she never quit saying that?
When she mentioned that she had gotten bored and needed a change of scenery and that things were pretty much the same with her, he smirked. "You mean to tell me that you don't have a new boy toy at your beck and call?" he asked in mock surprise. Then, "It's good to see you. I missed you."

Diana kept her look as serious as possible but eventually laughed again as she saw him roll his eyes and that she could see that he remembered very well instantly how blunt she could be when she wanted to and felt like she had to. Still once she heard him answer her with that he kept busy, but that he did miss his hunting buddy, she grinned and playfully smacked him against the arm. 'And you better admit it and remember it, you know your life is way more boring without me.' She told him as she laughed.
'Complicated huh? Or is that code for I'd rather not tell you that? I mean I'm just back and you're already planning on holding secrets?' Diana asked as she gave him a sad look. But then again she laughed and nodded in agreement about the statement of the hunters and when you got them off their protection. 'At least you remember.' She teased him while giving him a wink with it too.
Bursting into laughter, Diana shook her head and looked Trenton up and down before tilting her head to the side once again slightly and smirking devilishly. 'When will you realize I only keep saying it because I love to get to see you get so pissed off at me? It makes up for all the scrawniness and makes you look hot again.' She said in a devilish tone that perfectly matched the smirk still on her face. As the question got to her the next moment when Trenton asked her if she hadn't gotten a new boy toy at her back and call, she laughed and shook her head with a disappointed smile. 'Unfortunately no, not even a new girl toy either.' She laughed before shrugging her shoulders. 'I guess I'll have to get one, or two, but besides, you're here right? So I was just keeping my schedule open.' She said with again a playful but still somewhat devilish wink at him.

Trent shook his head again. Diana was absolutely nuts! But that's the way he liked her. When she asked him if he was keeping secrets from her, he shrugged. "Let us just say that things have become...puzzling for me," he responded. There was no need to let her know that he was struggling with reconciling his hunter side with the side that cared for Marina and that he was trying to figure out where some of his flashbacks were coming from. They weren't making sense.
He growled playfully after she told him that she only called him "scrawny" because she liked seeing him pissed. At the mention of the lack of a new toy, his brows furrowed thoughtfully. "I could introduce you to my roommate...as long as you do not kill him....at least for a while," he told her. Not that he particularly liked Zach, but if he just disappeared...there would be questions that he would not be in the mood to answer. "Or you could find some cheerleaders to play with and dispose of as I did," he suggested, a fond grin curving his features. That had been fun, taking care of the girls who had hurt Marina. "What do you say we get out of here?" he asked and without waiting for Diana's response, he walked over to where he had left his belongings, grabbed them, and headed out.
