STRENGTHS
[/BLOCKQUOTE]
Intelligence- Despite her not knowing herself, Gwen is rather smart. She doesn’t remember who she is, or anything about herself, but she remembers everything she learned in school and the short time at college. She also has read everything from science books, to fantasy novels, just trying to remember what she liked before she lost her memory.
Shooting- Her friend, Lily Collins, has taught Gwen how to shoot. She loves to shoot, and she’s pretty good at it. Lily even helped her to get a permit to carry, though she usually keeps a small .9mm in her purse since it’s lighter and easy to hide.
Calm- Despite everything, Gwen has learned to be very calm and collected. She needs to, otherwise she might go insane trying to find out who she is.
Kindness- Gwen is very kind to everyone, and always gives people a chance even if they give her a creepy feeling. Lily thinks this is a bad thing, but Gwen sees it as a strength.
Emotionally open- Unlike her friend, Guinevere isn’t afraid to show her emotions. She’s usually happy, but when she’s sad, or angry, everyone will know it.
WEAKNESSES
[/BLOCKQUOTE]
Physical Strength- Gwen isn’t very strong physically, despite Lily nagging her to join a karate class. Or even a self-defense class. Guinevere is rather naïve, thinking no one will try to attack her.
Amnesia- Gwen sees this as a strong weakness against herself, since she can’t remember even her own name. She knows she wouldn’t know it if it wasn’t for Lily, and she feels helpless not knowing who she is.
Fire- Since she woke up, she’s had an unreasonable (or maybe it’s quite reasonable) fear of fire. Even small flames terrify her, so she doesn’t even have candles in her new apartment.
Paranormal things- For almost a month now, strange things have been happening to Guinevere. She is starting to panic, and she’s losing sleep as it usually wakes her up in the middle of the night.
Sensitive- Guinevere is sensitive to emotions, and she usually gets upset when she’s around too many people at once.
LIKES
[/BLOCKQUOTE]
Strawberries
Chocolate
Reading
Searching for her identity
Hanging out with Lily
Wicca- She’s taken an interest in Wicca after reading a book about it. It feels almost familiar to her but she can’t figure out why.
DISLIKES
[/BLOCKQUOTE]
Her lack of memory
Oranges- She’s allergic and gets massive migraines from just the smell of oranges.
Ghosts- She think a ghost is haunting her, throwing things around and hiding them from her, and she’s starting to get scared.
Fire- Since she woke up, she’s had an unreasonable (or maybe it’s quite reasonable) fear of fire.
Hospitals- She doesn’t think she’s ever liked hospitals, but now she really hates them.
HISTORY
[/BLOCKQUOTE]
Two years ago, in a small abandoned house outside LA, the fire department was called to contain a blaze that suddenly and unexplainably caught fire. It wasn’t a gradual fire, but a sudden blaze, like an explosion went off, though there was no explosion that anyone noticed. Inside, they found a young woman, barely breathing but somehow untouched by the flames. The only mark they could find on her was a gash across her forehead.
She was taken to the hospital immediately, where she remained unresponsive for almost a full year. The hospital had hired Lily, though she had taken the case pro-bono to find out the woman’s identity. Lily wasn’t able to find out much, as it seemed most of the woman’s history had been deleted from any system she could find. She found out her name was Guinevere Rose McLoughlin, and that she had lived and gone to school there in LA, but other than that, Guinevere was a mystery to everyone.
When she woke up, it was almost a full year after the fire department found her in the burning house. The doctors had hoped that they would finally find out who Guinevere was, and why she was in that house when it caught fire and burned. Much to their disbelief, Gwen didn’t remember anything. Nothing about what happened that night, and nothing about who she even was.
Lily was the only person that was like a bit of sanity in a world that Gwen didn’t even remember. She was also the only person that knew anything about herself. Gwen had gotten Lily’s business card from her doctor, and when she was released from the hospital had gone to her PI business and had introduced herself, and asked Lily to help her find out who she was.
It’s been just over a year since Gwen walked into Lily’s shop, and Lily hadn’t found anything else out about her. Depressed, but not discouraged, Gwen is still looking to find out who she is. She’d become friends with Lily a few months after she had waken from her coma.
A month ago, strange things started to happen around Gwen. Things would fall off bookshelves, or would disappear only to reappear in some strange place she didn’t remember placing it. Beginning to panic, Gwen has gone out in search of help, trying to find anyone that knows what’s going on, though thinking it’s just a ghost or poltergeist or something, unaware that the cause of the strange things is actually her…
CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
Gwen wants to know who she is. She doesn’t know anything about herself, and she needs help… With many, many things. Human help won’t work, either, and she’s going to slowly begin to find out that she’s not really all human after all, and will find herself plunging deep into a world she doesn’t remember even existed.[/BLOCKQUOTE]

10 years or so| Lily Rae Collins
Guinevere sat, shaking hard in her bed, her sheets draped across her lap and her tank top twisted around oddly. Her bedside light was a comforting warmth next to her when she flicked it on, and she trembled as she turned to look around her room. All the books on her shelf had fallen off, strewn across the room and on the floor. She shook, her face whiter than her white sheets. “What do you want?!” She cried to what she assumed was a ghost tormenting her. “Why are you doing this to me!?” She sobbed it, her voice catching and breaking halfway through the cry.
Tears dripped down her cheeks and onto her lap. This was the fourth night in a row, after a series of horrible dreams of something chasing her. She didn’t know what the something was, because just before it caught her, everything exploded into flames and something in the waking world woke her up. “Please… Just let me sleep…”
