Charming Italy, a place one Desdemona Avery has never been to until now. There was something about the atmosphere here that made her feel alive if that was possible. Unfortunately Mona could only sightsee during the night since she had to stay indoors during the day after all she didn’t want to expose herself to the human race..Just yet. No she didn’t have a death wish with the Volturi. In her mind Vampires shouldn’t have to cower during the daylight hours so that the humans wouldn’t know of their existence. It should be quite the opposite; vampires should be seen as gods and treated like them as well. Humans were nothing but food on wheels to Miss. Avery. And that is what brought her out of her little cottage like home. She was absolutely famished. Perhaps that was one of the reasons why Sullivan asked her to be in his coven, not because she was hungry but because he saw something in her he liked. They had only met a handful of times before and every time she seen him her lust, attraction and respect for him grew stronger. He was older, wiser and of course drop dead sexy. Who wouldn’t want to be in his coven? The last time they spoke he mentioned that another vampire had joined as well. She was curious to see who the mystery women was but who in the hell knows when they were actually going to meet.
Mona was dressed to impress as usual; with a body hugging gold colored dress that ended a few inches above the knee and a plunging neckline that showed off one of her many favorite assets. Her stilettos were as black as the night sky with intricate gold detail along the side. She never wore anything less than four inches in added height. Even though she was a tall girl to begin with she wanted more. Mona always wanted more of something; more clothes, more men, more sex, and more money. All the things she had enough of well besides sex. She couldn’t have enough of that. She didn’t have a preference when it came to gender, and she hardly had sex with just one person. In her mind the more the merrier.
The heels of her stilettos echoed through the cobblestone alley as she headed toward the town center of Voterra which was only a few blocks from where she was staying. That was her favorite spot so find dinner so far. The fountain illuminated the area very beautifully and had a calm relaxing ambiance. She finally stopped when she reached her destination; Mona took a quick glance around hoping she wouldn’t be disturbed while she was waiting for a handsome passerby to come and feed on. Her piercing ruby eyes darted around the center before sitting on the stone ledge. Desdemona pulled out a cigarette from her small golden clutch and lit it. There was something elegant about a lady smoking she just couldn’t put it into words. A deep sigh escaped her glossy crimson lips as she placed her clutch on her lap. Now all she had to do was sit and wait, it shouldn’t be long now she thought to herself
